In time of lockdown we went to Flame Flame for a takeaway as we wanted to try something different from our usual restaurant in Sheperd Bush. We were attracted by the charcoal grilled meat. Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. We ordered mixed shawarma in pitta bread. The meat was hard and had no taste, there was little salad and little sauce. The roll resulted quite dry and poor. The large was priced at £7.45 and the small (I mean, really small) £5.50. Although other places in the area may have similar prices, the quality was not worth the price. Disclaimer: this is based on my personal opinion and on a single visit.

I went in for a take away, never been here before so I played it safe I ordered King prawn fried rice, supposedly large, how can you get that wrong? It was extremely dry, unfried just tossed around in a little oil with only 6 king prawns (everywhere else gives a minimum of 9 or 10) and peas you could count. Unbelievable! I also ordered spring rolls these were 8 of the smallest spring rolls known to man, each the length and breadth of my 4th finger (and I have quite small and thin fingers!) over fried and barely filled. I also ordered a Singapore fried noodles (Vermicelli) and that barely made up for the disappointment hence the 2 rating given in the interest of fairness. My receipt is attached in case of doubt. Maybe I went in on a bad day?

Terribly unreliable company to deal with. Not for the first time my order was unfulfilled and after a few days told the cheese in question was not available. Offered unsuitable replacements. Refund requested but 9 days later still waiting. Lame excuses put forward by the company. There is no way I would deal with them again. Be warned.
