Five Lads in Northampton

The vanilla milk cake was to die for!! It was so good, my friends and I enjoyed every last bite!! We’ll definitely be coming back for more

1st meal after lockdown. It was the best experience ever. 'WOW' I love my lamb chops they were cooked to perfection so juicy and full of flavour. Love my wings but for a change ordered the whole grilled chicken I must say better than nandos. The chicken again was packed with flavours and so succulent and that's wat u call finger licking good. There was 22 of us the service was outstanding. Food arrived piping hot. Thanks to the team for a lovely experience again. Looking forward to our next visit.

Me and family visited yesterday after such a long time due to lockdown we really enjoyed the food as always. Lovely customer service. Can’t wait to go back.

Have Five lads at least once a week, very good value for money and always high quality food. Would highly recommend the single platter. Very helpful staff - an item was missed on my order once and they drove a single chicken wrap all the way to my door. Great response from the on shift manager.

Only the second time we have used this take away. We had the whole chicken and chops ... with roasted vegetables ...healthier than your regular take away and it was delicious once again 😊 yes it was a little late but when we spoke to them on the phone they were apologetic and courteous and it arrived shortly after. Will definitely have number on my phone for future orders. Well done five lads.

The Manager on the night shift 25/08/2020 was extremely rude, they got my order wrong and I wanted to pay the difference for the right order, but the manager was not being cooperative even though his staff got the order wrong. The staff apologised but the manager didn't. Nothing was done and the manager had a really rude attitude.

Invited by family for a meal. Welcoming staff who provided prompt service. Food is always above and beyond what you expect. Each individual flavour has its own style. We always order different flavours and sauces, and as the portion sizes are towards the larger size, you can share without going hungry.

What to say always thought of trying this place finally did and it was well worth it, food came fast after ordering on just eat, food was hot, tasty and just as ordered, will defo order from here again or maybe next time we will eat in.

Absolutely amazing food and service every time I go. Such a fresh and clean environment. Staff are incredibly friendly. There was 18 of us today and they catered for us with super service. Totally recommend Five Lads to anyone looking for delicious tasty grilled chicken. Meal is served hot and quick. Thank you Five Lads!

I have pretty much tried nearly everything on this menu, and it never fails to disappoint! Best place for chicken in Northampton, excellent food, staff and service! My favourite place to eat, and have already recommended to family and friends who have been really happy with the food when they visited. Looking forward to coming back in 2 weeks!

Placed order on their website for home delivery around 9 and its 11 already and the food has not yet arrived. Been trying calling them since 10 but nobody is bothered to pick my call. Such a waste of time and money.

Ordered a takeaway delivery from Five Lads, not one of them turned up with our order. When asking when can we expect our delivery the manager was very rude even though before ordering the delivery we offered to pick it up if it was easier for them. She also used the F word in the conversation.

I have hadn't been to Five Lads for a few months so when my husband suggested that we meet up with some friends I was looking forward to it. I ordered a burger, chips and a chocolate milkshake. I went for a beef burger and OH MY DAYS, it was SO GOOD!The milkshakes are Shmoo Milkshakes which are always great. My hubby when for a Lads Burger and I tried some and it was lovely as well. He had a strawberry milkshake which I thought tasted great but I will always opt for a chocolate milkshake over any other flavour. It was a busy night but the staff took the time to make us feel welcome and ask us about our meal. All in all it was a lovely meal that didn't blow the budget. Highly recommended.

when i say solid burger i mean its dry, dry like the sahara got it changed and this time it was dry like the Nairobi, i noticed the guy who cooks it squeeeeeeeezs all the juice out on the grill. other than that the chips and wings were really nice, rice was microwaved so didnt fancy that overall a nice place but dont order the beef burger unless you tell the guy not to squeeeeeeeeez it

So I went to five lads with a group of friends and was pleasantly greater by the staff was recommended the lads burger and chips with a drink (had to pay extra for cheese (the square plastic kind) the food came with in 5 minutes not hot but not cold the chicken was chewy like rubber with no taste and the burger was bland like very bland never ever going again and this burger meal cost £10.50 and it had the fake square cheese which we paid extra for

Wow! was rushing but wanted a decent meal and had this place recommended so wanted to try it for a while. Staff were lovely - very helpful in what to choose (great menu) and it was all cooked fresh and served really quickly. Food was incredibly tasty, chicken was so succulent! Decent sized portions to fill you up too and none of it greasy. Very impressed with this place. It’s clean, light and fast food. No need to ever visit Nando’s again I’m afraid. Give it a try - you will not be disappointed!!!

This isn’t the first time i’ve had a bad experience here. The staff are a joke and have a big attitude issue. I wouldn’t mind if the food they served made up for it but this was just a waste of time and money. Zizou lounge offers 10x better food so please try that.

Came here for a friends birthday,wasn't busy on arrival,more people were coming in as the evening went on. Ordered lamb chops and mash potato. Very tasty,service was brilliant and didn't wait long at all. Reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again or try a take out.

Had a takeaway the strip chicken and lamb burger was spot on,full of flavours and fresh.takeaway just as good as eating in the restaurant thanks guys see you soon.

On entering the restaurant, a few quid has definitely been spent on the decor and furnishings. Even the bathrooms were very smart. Apparently Five Lads has a number of outlets in London and elsewhere but I can't remember seeing one anywhere despite working and living here for the last twelve years. We ordered a couple of Box meals that contained a Peri Peri Chicken burger, three strips and peri fries as well as a can of drink. At about eight quid each with an extra portion of halloumi each, it was amazing value and the food was served quickly and piping hot. If you're fed up of queuing in Nandos, then walk down the hill. You won't regret it.

Much better than Nando’s but the concept is exactly the same.

Food was tremendous and place clean and spot on. The Grill Chicken is better than Nando’s-Anytime! I would recommend you try it and then you believe it! Good Food takes time!

I ordered a delivery yesterday I ordered a chicken wrap ..steak cut chips and coleslaw .the wrap was average . The steak cut chips with soggy bland and tasted like they have been reheated . I asked for mild lemon and herb in the wrap but it was still spicy when I ate it so that failed . It was tasty but could not eat it with all that spice . Maybe improve your deliverys and not make your wraps full of spice when I ordered lemon and herb . And I dont want soggy chips thank you . 5/10

Found this place by chance - Service excellent! and the food was too - a bit like nandos with a twist - have been back with my children who enjoyed it too will be eating here again in the future

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It's on Bridge Street in the centre of Northampton. It is by far the best night out for a meal that we've experienced in Northampton, England.

We ate here yesterday. There was 16 of us celebrating my birthday which wasn't a problem for them as we had the VIP area to ourselves. As upon entering the restaurant what a warm welcome by the manager and staff . Ordered our food which came out in good time. The food was piping hot and was so fresh. Cant fault at all. The gourmet burgers and lamb chops and the wings were a super hit. Would highly recommend. Thank you brother abdul rashid and team for a lovely afternoon. Can't wait for next visit

I was recommended this place a few times by various friends and family members. They kept saying it’s better than Nando’s but I love Nando’s and didn’t want to try somewhere else. Eventually they forced me to go with them and OH MY GOD THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!

Went around lunch time today. Was nice and quiet. Very comfy and clean. Staff are welcoming and friendly. I ordered hummus with pitta bread - Very nice tasty and could do with a few more slices of bread. Also ordered 5 chicken wings (Hot) with peri chips. Didn't wait to long and it came hot. So delicious I will be attending again!! My meal came under £10 and I am full!!!

I visited with friends on a busy weekend night. Service is excellent, staff is friendly and welcoming. Nice variety of food. We tried almost every item on menu between all of us, and it is Delicious.

I was a bit hesitant about going to this restaurant as I thought it would be like your average burger/chicken place How wrong I was, the food was amazing, hot, tasty, plentiful and all for a very good price. We were a large group and they served all the meals quickly efficiently so they remained hot

So I finally went to the new joint in town with ‘five lads’ lol. I ordered the variety platter which consisted of half a baby chicken, four peri peri wings, two gourmet burgers and two sides of your choice (roasted vegetables and hummus with pitta).

Lunch with the girls at Five Lads Northampton. It is about a 2 minute walk from 1 Angel Square where we all work.

Went with friends had the gourmet beef burger with mash potato,it was cooked to perfection and the strips were really nice as well,Northampton been crying out for a hmc peri peri restaurant,thanks guys will see you soon.

Food was fresh, hot and very tasty! Service: was greeted with a smile and friendly service. Very cheap for what it is!
