Our go to for eating out, not a single issue with the food. But it’s always quite hard to enjoy after having to walk up the steps from the main Silverlink car park with my disabled partner because shift leads and other members of staff are taking up the disabled bays. Bad enough when members of the public do but staff and higher ups right outside massive windows so everyone can see them hopping in with no shame .really upsetting

This restaurant is the best out of Gateshead and Newcastle. The food is cooked better, not as greasy. Staff are always pleasant in all the restaurants.

Delicious! Free peanuts that have been deep-fried in their shells and salted. Burgers come with unlimited toppings. Chips cooked with their skin on and large portions.

Burgers and fries were great as always, apart from the missing mayo to go with our fries!

Not good at all. Food took getting on for two hours. Was absolutely freezing. Rang five guys said delivery driver had order for almost an hour. Terrible service.

Wrong order arrived and was freezing cold. Ordered at 7pm but received an order that was made at 2pm! Delivery driver was rude - aware this isn’t Five Guys’ fault but was definitely an issue.

My order never arrived. still waiting for it now

Food was freezing cold, waste of time, delivery time changed from time of order, was over an hour after delivery. Disappointed, if knew upfront the delivery times wouldn’t have ordered.

My ketchup and mayo sauce on the side wasn’t added to my delivery. Thereby making me eat bare fries!

Time changed just prior to start of delivery window, which if I had not be watching the app I would not have been anticipating.

Driver arrived 20 minutes late, had the wrong address even though the delivery order has the correct one. Had to wait outside in the rain so the driver could find me. After being messed about I just wanted my food but it was cold my burger was missing the bacon. Waste of money.

i had payed for a milkshake for my 5 year old daughter, but when i received my order their was no milkshake to be seen. she was absolutely heartbroken as it was a special treat for her and when i tried to contact (i rang 4 times) their was no answer. i expected better service as ive never had an issue from five guys before, all that was offered to me was a refund and i refuse to by another as delivery prices are ridiculous. im very unimpressed.

Not happy at all. Cold rock hard food. Got half a burger. Looked like two bite mark had been eaten from it. I have pictures

the difference between the Newcastle and Silverlink is ridiculous! the burger was dry and tasteless, the chips were overcooked and soggy and don't have that signature peanut oil taste. only good thing was the milkshake. last time I go.

Pleasant staff, very clean surroundings and well maintained, however it was my first visit to 5 guys but it is way overpriced for what you get. I wont be going back. Sorry 5 guys senior management but i bet families will go elsewhere because of the expense. I predict the restaurant will struggle to stay open because of lack of customers. I hope i am wrong for the sake of the staffs jobs. Best wishes anyway

Food and service really good. Why so many chips just dumped in the bag? We ordered 3 between 4 but muys have had 5 portions. Food waste is a shame

It was ‘ok’. Definitely not worth over £40 for the three burgers and fries we got though.

Burger and milkshakes were amazing, just a shame the fries had way too much salt on and weren't hot

Hotdog looked like it had been sat on! Far too much ketchup and mustard, looked like a sloppy mess, fries scorched and tasted of oil. If you use a delivery service Five Guys aren't interested in feedback and refer you to the third party, who unless you've taken a photo of the food aren't interested either ! At £31 for a meal for 2 think offer better service , won't be using again. 2 stars for the £5:95 milkshake which was nice.

Requested sauce - no sauce received. Chips were cold dry and no seasoning. Burger was tasty and warm.

Service was quick & polite. Helpful advice in to how much we should order. Clean & pleasant surroundings, food was good. Only negative - be warned, it's not cheap!

The small burger alone was £6.95 and yes you can have many toppings but its just a fairly small burger in a small bun which was itself a bit stodgy Worth about £4.95 in my view Overated But you can eat free peanuts if you want while you wait ….!

Great find! Lovely service from the guy behind the counter. Nice clean and cosy atmosphere. Not busy at all. Wish there was one closer to us! We travelled 12 miles to eat here!

Milk shake wasn't nice.vanila was ok but I had strawberry and it had after plastic taste. Burger was very good. Did think it was expensive for what you got..So give three stars .

£18 for a burger and chips. Wouldn't even say average, was totally disappointed. Will never ever get again. Don't understand how this is a successful business

First experience of Five Guys and first impressions count. All the staff did a great job however I want to give a special mention to the lady who served us “Adriana”, she was very friendly, helpful and professional and it was her alone that gave us the first impression that will bring us back for more. Food was also amazing and so was the milkshake

No bacon on the bacon burger or hot sauce

I’m a very usual five guys customer and I came here during work hours to take something fast so I only took chips, I was really disappointed with the staff. I felt treated like a beggar. It was my first time in the Silverlink branch and the last one. I didn’t eat my chips thinking these could be poisoned.

The fries were cold because the driver was not able to identify the right bell.

As usual at 5 Guys the food was excellent. Timing - it was really quiet at 3pm. Maybe time to play some Country & Western, to create a great atmosphere?

As usual lovely food but £36 for 2 burgers , 2 drinks and 1 large fries is ridiculous Compare to 3 courses at Tomahawk for £20 and don't understand how they stay in business

Burgers are nice but expensive, chips are the best out there from fast food chain, but the portions seems to have decreased over the years, as the bag used to rammed full when ordering large chips but now doesnt seem anywhere near the amount the last 2 times ive been. Says a large is for 3-4 people but last 2 times its been enough for only 1. Love five guys but do find it expensive overall.

During my afternoon visit on 1/2/24, my second time at Five Guys (having previously only been to the Newcastle location), I'm still navigating the menu. The staff at the counter were patient and provided excellent advice. Another team member delivering our order was exceptionally friendly. The food was not only delicious but the place was also impeccably clean. This burger joint outshines the nearby McDonald's; I consistently find McDonald's disappointing, with food that lacks freshness, likely due to being kept hot. In contrast, Five Guys cooks to order on a hot plate, resulting in a gourmet experience, especially with their superior fries.

Decided to order delivery from them one night, fries better than boring mcdonalds one, the hot dog however was fantastic, did same next night but got a burger, It was so good yeah bit more expensive but if like me take out burgers are a occasional thing then forget mcdonalds get one from here

Food is great and arrived on time.

Love food, quick delivery just one niggle is they didn't put in a straw for my milkshake and the only straws I had at home weren't thick enough so I just took off the lid to drink it. Great milkshake though!

First time in silverlink five guys and it is the best five guys so far, the service from adriana was amazing as she was upbeat and helpful.

food was a luke warm and chips a bit soggy from being in the bag for a while. tasty burger as always but i asked for 2 lots of mayo with this order and got 0. i usually i get incredible service from 5 guys but this order was average. just honest :) thanks though, burger was bangin!! 💋

Food arrived extremely cold and was unable to eat it, had to be warmed up and was not as enjoyable as i hoped.

The food is always good but today you forgot to add the cheese dog. It must be because it's busy Christmas time.

The burger was overcooked and very dry but I appreciate this is dependent on delivery time. The bigger problem was how small their serving of fries was. We ordered a regular fries but it looked even smaller than a little fries. Not up to the normal standard for this restaurant.

Food was cold, delivery was 20 minutes later than originally advised and then arrived cold.

Usually the food is really good this time one of the Patty's was pink in the middle put me off eating the burger

Missing food, restaurant say they defiantly put all food in bag and driver must have removed some ‘not first time apparently 🙁’ they were very polite and apologetic but couldn’t rectify problem as had no driver. Been week now without a refund from just eat we won’t be using again.

I should really have given fewer stars because they forgot to put the relish on. However, the rest of the food was so good I still give 5 stars. This is my first experience of 5 Guys food and I shall certainly be using them frequently from now on.

The chips were stone cold, and burger luke warm, i think the warmest part of the meal was the strawberry milkshake

As every Five Guys is, the burger is amazing, the portion sizes are amazing the refill drinks are amazing. Now this is at Silverlink, it's likely to become a more frequent place for us to visit, until they move further north (hint hint). Edit - visited as a treat this evening and yet again, perfect food, perfect drink and the staff were so helpful.

Absolutely disgusting level of service. Ordered 3 milkshakes and received 2. They have refused to deliver the missing milkshake because apparently there is no driver available. £60 for that! Shocking!
