ordered food through justeat as they had 40% off and foc delivery. myself and two friends ordered burgers and hot dog with large fries. I thought that five guys were renowned for giving extra fries? the portion we received was miniscule and we ordered large! and they were seriously overcooked too. the burgers were lovely as was the hotdog. just a shame they were so tight with the fries!

Absolutely delicious bacon, cheeseburgers and with 40% discount offer we couldn’t say no. Highly recommend.

Around the Christmas period was having a stressful morning working locally to this chain, entering my mood imidiatly changed when I was greeted by Nisin who was happy to help and super positive! Imidiatly improving my day and was super appreciative of the excellent service provided, food was excellent and perfect for lifting spirits and helping you have a great day

Part of the order missing, tried to catch driver as he was still outside my house but he drove off. Spoke to Five Guys who confirmed rest of my delivery had been left on the counter by the delivery driver and to contact Just Eat for a refund for missing items.

Ordered something over just eat clearly sealed the bags and the person on the phone in silverlink just says I remember doing the order and I can't do anything but bro you missed out to put the burger in the bag honestly all I can do now is ask for a refund on just eat which probably takes a couple of days to come back but I still got no food now honestly I believe you've done the order but it still hasn't made it into the bag it couldn't have fallen out on that note won't order there again

Had a little hamburger "all the way," medium fries. Hamburger was fine but the mushroom and tomato made the bread a bit mushy, there was very little in way of lettuce, onions and other additions compared with when five guys launched in the area years ago. Five guys as a company isn't loading on with additional fries on top of cup as they once did, probably get about one cup and third rather than twice the cup quantity of fries as they used to do. Maybe was just a launch gimmick though? The fries here and at another local branch were luke warm and floppy so not sure of change to cooking procedure, but they definitely weren't crispy. Tried another branch just to see if experience was the same, and it was. Burger meat was good and reasonably priced for what you get (would caution on getting mushroom and tomato unless you like wet bread though), don't think fries and refillable drink prices are in line with value for what you get though. Overall, okay to eat at as a luxe alternative to the usual fast food places but feel only the burger itself is value for the price and quality of what you get.

My order never arrived!!!! I was told it would be delivered between 10.20pm and 10.40pm but I’m still waiting… There was no number to call the restaurant and no further updates were given to me so at 11pm I requested a refund. Very poor service

Asked for ketchup. Didn’t get any ketchup. Whole meal was bone dry and spent £30.

The food taste was great as expected from Five guys how ever it arrived late was due 18:00 was 18:17. Food was cold as driver had temperature bag was opened before arriving at the door

Burgers- outstanding! Milkshake- sublime! Chips were very good too and a regular portion fed both of us. Nice , pleasant staff too. Shame about the manky toilets, urine all over, dirty, stained toilet pans and generally grubby. Hence 4 stars instead of 5. Clean your loos! It costs enough to eat here- clean facilities should be a given.

i come to this particular branch often as its a <5 minute drive from my house, and i just wanna say that the food and service is always spot on. my go to is normally cajun fries with either a banana or chocolate milkshake. you get great portions and all the staff are very lovely and friendly as well. good job to everyone who works here.

Ordered two meals. Only two drinks arrived and no food. The drinks weren’t even the right drinks. Absolutely abysmal. Would not recommend. Expensive waste of time and money.

Costs a fortune but worth it when every thing tastes fresh and your full for 24 hours after eating there. Staff super friendly and great portions.

The time kept being extended and we couldn’t follow the delivery driver on the map. It was eventually delivered by someone on a push bike! This meant our food was cold and had to be reheated. I do not think that it is acceptable to expect someone to be able to deliver hot food from a restaurant about 5 miles away by push bike. It will always be cold when received. The food was good quality but cold and the courier was very polite so no complaints on either count.

Our go to for eating out, not a single issue with the food. But it’s always quite hard to enjoy after having to walk up the steps from the main Silverlink car park with my disabled partner because shift leads and other members of staff are taking up the disabled bays. Bad enough when members of the public do but staff and higher ups right outside massive windows so everyone can see them hopping in with no shame .really upsetting

Really good food and the delivery driver was very nice and kind

The food was late which wasn’t the end of the world but the fries have been pretty poor the last couple of times we’ve ordered but were particularly bad tonight. Soggy and some undercooked making them inedible.

This restaurant is the best out of Gateshead and Newcastle. The food is cooked better, not as greasy. Staff are always pleasant in all the restaurants.

Delicious! Free peanuts that have been deep-fried in their shells and salted. Burgers come with unlimited toppings. Chips cooked with their skin on and large portions.

My ketchup and mayo sauce on the side wasn’t added to my delivery. Thereby making me eat bare fries!

Driver arrived 20 minutes late, had the wrong address even though the delivery order has the correct one. Had to wait outside in the rain so the driver could find me. After being messed about I just wanted my food but it was cold my burger was missing the bacon. Waste of money.

i had payed for a milkshake for my 5 year old daughter, but when i received my order their was no milkshake to be seen. she was absolutely heartbroken as it was a special treat for her and when i tried to contact (i rang 4 times) their was no answer. i expected better service as ive never had an issue from five guys before, all that was offered to me was a refund and i refuse to by another as delivery prices are ridiculous. im very unimpressed.

the difference between the Newcastle and Silverlink is ridiculous! the burger was dry and tasteless, the chips were overcooked and soggy and don't have that signature peanut oil taste. only good thing was the milkshake. last time I go.

Pleasant staff, very clean surroundings and well maintained, however it was my first visit to 5 guys but it is way overpriced for what you get. I wont be going back. Sorry 5 guys senior management but i bet families will go elsewhere because of the expense. I predict the restaurant will struggle to stay open because of lack of customers. I hope i am wrong for the sake of the staffs jobs. Best wishes anyway

Food and service really good. Why so many chips just dumped in the bag? We ordered 3 between 4 but muys have had 5 portions. Food waste is a shame

It was ‘ok’. Definitely not worth over £40 for the three burgers and fries we got though.

Hotdog looked like it had been sat on! Far too much ketchup and mustard, looked like a sloppy mess, fries scorched and tasted of oil. If you use a delivery service Five Guys aren't interested in feedback and refer you to the third party, who unless you've taken a photo of the food aren't interested either ! At £31 for a meal for 2 think offer better service , won't be using again. 2 stars for the £5:95 milkshake which was nice.

The small burger alone was £6.95 and yes you can have many toppings but its just a fairly small burger in a small bun which was itself a bit stodgy Worth about £4.95 in my view Overated But you can eat free peanuts if you want while you wait ….!

Great find! Lovely service from the guy behind the counter. Nice clean and cosy atmosphere. Not busy at all. Wish there was one closer to us! We travelled 12 miles to eat here!

First experience of Five Guys and first impressions count. All the staff did a great job however I want to give a special mention to the lady who served us “Adriana”, she was very friendly, helpful and professional and it was her alone that gave us the first impression that will bring us back for more. Food was also amazing and so was the milkshake

Burger included nothing that I asked for. For such an expensive burger, I should be able to enjoy it!

I’m a very usual five guys customer and I came here during work hours to take something fast so I only took chips, I was really disappointed with the staff. I felt treated like a beggar. It was my first time in the Silverlink branch and the last one. I didn’t eat my chips thinking these could be poisoned.

As usual at 5 Guys the food was excellent. Timing - it was really quiet at 3pm. Maybe time to play some Country & Western, to create a great atmosphere?

Burgers are nice but expensive, chips are the best out there from fast food chain, but the portions seems to have decreased over the years, as the bag used to rammed full when ordering large chips but now doesnt seem anywhere near the amount the last 2 times ive been. Says a large is for 3-4 people but last 2 times its been enough for only 1. Love five guys but do find it expensive overall.

During my afternoon visit on 1/2/24, my second time at Five Guys (having previously only been to the Newcastle location), I'm still navigating the menu. The staff at the counter were patient and provided excellent advice. Another team member delivering our order was exceptionally friendly. The food was not only delicious but the place was also impeccably clean. This burger joint outshines the nearby McDonald's; I consistently find McDonald's disappointing, with food that lacks freshness, likely due to being kept hot. In contrast, Five Guys cooks to order on a hot plate, resulting in a gourmet experience, especially with their superior fries.
