Our server, the guy with a rocking beard and hair, was fantastic. We were in a large group but had a great laugh and banter there. A rocking place where my son enjoyed his 18th. Fabulous food, too. Thank you all.

We eat at Wagamamas quite a bit, and portions were large (chilli ramen with tonnes of veg). Service was also especially good, explained discounts and really helpful

My friend and I were served by Caz. What can I say. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable. We had lunch and as we were only wanting small portions she guided us through the menu. 10 out of 10 for you my love. 10 out of 10 for the food and for the price. We sooooo enjoyed it. Fantastic Service from Caz! Visited East Midlands on Bank Holiday Monday with my mum, and we decided to dine at Wagamama. My mum had a few questions about the menu, and we were lucky to be served by Caz. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite — a level of service I haven’t experienced in a long time. Caz went out of her way to assist my mum and made her feel completely at ease. She was so approachable and attentive, truly an asset to Wagamama. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you so much, Caz — you made our experience memorable!

Tamika needs to lighten up. She was our waitress for our section but she was so slow, we waited 10 minutes watching her clear up other tables. In the end, we asked another waitress to take our order. I'm only giving 5 stars because the manager and all the other staff were good banter and really helpful.

I like Wagga . I look forward to going to Wagga when I'm out. Feels like a treat without being bad. Bight young people serve bright yum food in bright engaging surroundings. It is what it is, which is consistently good. The Saku Saku Duck Soba is amazing, BTW.

Came here for lunch on Saturday and the service was lovely, the food arrived quickly and the staff were very kind. However I was very disappointed with the level of quality from the food. I ordered the thai beef salad and received a very tough and well done steak on top of an otherwise enjoyable salad. However the steak is what carries the price of the dish higher than most other dishes. I was advertised “tender strips” unfortunately it was anything but tender and appeared more like chunks than strips. On top of that the menu also said “premium cut steak” and yet the majority of the cut I had consisted mostly of tissue. Very disappointed with the overall dinning aspect of this experience, aside from that staff were lovely.

My second visit at this branch, I remember last time that the waitress was a bit abrupt, but this one was worse. We order drinks, and my mum wished to have it arrive with the food rather than before, the waitress said that wasn't possible, then the starters arrived, and then said the main meal that we ordered wasn't available and she asked what we wanted instead, but I had to ask for the menus to come back. She kind of rushed us to choose, and then the mains arrived before we had finished starters! And finally when she brought us the bill she had included the mains that weren't available, so if I hadn't read the receipt I would have been charged twice! Wagamama could to better.

Visited here today with a friend the staff were excellent very helpful & friendly and the food delicious & prepared & presented well. But we felt it was far too expensive for what it was definitely over priced & where don’t they do a meal deal everything is priced separately Probably not been rushing back

We ordered vegan curries and we were shocked to be quite honest. Watery and tasteless. 5 pieces of tofu. One of the worst vegan options we've had. I'm sure they can't have tasted the food they offer. Avoid if you are going to pick a vegan option, not worth the price

After my first visit to wagamama here at east Midlands outlet, I will say that it will be my last, service is good and polite staff food is nothing to write home about, and there are no prices on the menus which is very naughty and I had noodles and a piece of chicken very small portion of chicken for £16.50, very expensive for what you got in my opinion, so no I won't be going back to wagamama again thank you......

Nice restaurant, sometimes can get busy, food was great , just a bit slow service, after order been taken they forgot to bring the order so was some delay , 3 stars this time for this, but overall okay

Mmm. Not very impressed with the food. Overdone crunchy noodles mixed with cold noodles. Cold chicken and prawns mixed in with it. I must say the staff were very welcoming and on the ball.

We (me and my family) came here for lunch after shopping, was my first time we were greeted at the door and shown to our seats the waiting staff came and took our order then the food came which was very tasty and piping hot afterwards we called the staff over to order dessert but it was as if they weren't interested so we just paid and went plus the price was very expensive for noodles if this is how it is then we probably won't be going back

Food was tasty but just found it expensive. 4 of us having shared one side dish, 4 mains , no deserts and no alcoholic drinks = £100. £4 for a 330ml can of Spirit? Had to chase one of the mains, we had nearly finished ours and it still hadn’t arrived. This is the 2nd time I have been and will not be going back for a while.

Absolutely love eating here, one of my favourite places to eat. The staff are always really friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and the place has such a good vibe to it. Would 100% recommend.

My son took me here as I was staying locally. Love the food. Service was excellent. My son needs to have gluten free food and the way the staff dealt with this was outstanding. The manager had to take the order and prepare it themselves. Someone else initially took the order but then she realised it was important to get the manager. Seamless visit and it certainly put my mind at ease with how the essential excluding of gluten was handled. Well done Wagamama. It's in the East Midland Designer outlet so parking was free and close to the venue. Easy to find off the dual cartiageway and not far from a motorway junction

Good food, prompt service, helpful staff.

Pretty dire and so pricey. Fried greens are the cost of a starter! Dumpling are astronomical prices for frozen and steamed. Need to cut prices and deliver dishes in order of starter and main etc...

Emma who attended to us was just amazing! So friendly, accommodating and attentive. We visited on a busy Sunday, I’ve been fussy with food recently due to pregnancy but Emma made sure I got exactly what I wanted, she came over a few times to make sure I was enjoying it. She made my day, she was just so understanding and so nice! Thank you

We did enjoy the food but thought the meals had too much rice/noodles & not enough meat or fish content.

I went to this venue for the first time last week to celebrate a friend's birthday. I have a severe nut allergy, and the staff were super accommodating and cautious. One of the girls who was in our group had made a birthday cake for our friend, but unfortunately it had nuts in it. Our server (who may have been a manager) offered me a dessert on the house because he didn't want me to feel left out. It was just such a kind and thoughtful gesture, and really warmed my heart. I hope he gets some recognition - it was the evening of the 21st November, if that helps!! 😀

This is by far the best Wagamama we've visited, both in terms of food and service. Keep up the good work!

Always the best wagamamas around

We have been here multiple times before but tonight was very disappointing. First of all we ordered, later to be told one of the starters had sol out, understandably as it was close to closing time, so we picked another dish. We then received all but 1 dish and when asked how our food was, I chased this up, we were told it had been missed and it would be 5 minutes. We finished the rest of our food and someone came to clear our plates and we again asked for the dish we hadn’t received, to which we were told it had been missed and hadn’t yet been made. I was disappointed as I had already chased this ip 10 minutes prior. We asked for it to be removed from the bill. Overall we felt like our meal had been slapped together as quick as possible as so staff could leave sooner, I would’ve rather been refused the table if I knew the service would’ve been this poor.

My daughter has recently been diagnosed with 3 allergies and we find it quite daunting going out to eat as we usually get "have you checked the website?" with a rude tone of voice in some places but our experience at wagamamas was completely different. When we were seated we explained we had allergies at the table and the manager Jack came to personally take our order and to double check everything was OK for my daughter. He was so polite and friendly. He even sat with us and it felt so relaxed. He truly was amazing. Jack not only took our order but also brought the food and drinks over for my daughter. 1000000/10 Thank you to all the lovely staff that made our experience amazing. As I've mentioned above its all new to us and can be quite daunting. I never write reviews but felt like I must say something as Jack and the team are incredible. The food was delicious and we left feeling very happy and will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks again Jack and the team!

I love wagamama, but recently I moved and please can you tell me how come wagamama in Alfreton will not deliver to ALFRETON????.....WTH!!!.... so I can no longer get my noodles delivered by a restaurant in the same town as me... what sense does that make!!.... makes none to me!.... and i am gutted, I only moved up the road a little and it's even still in the same postcode DE55 area... But no!!... they will not deliver to my new address.... it's a travesty!.... to me anyway!...lol.... so only one star for service even though it should be 5 *.... So please wagamama!!!.... at least deliver to the same town and postcode that you're in.... Oh!... and I'm disabled and don't drive, so cannot pick my order up neither..... it's just not fair wagamama, deliver my noodles please....

The service was disappointing, with only one lady running around the entire restaurant. The food arrived very late and was cold. The bao was missing ingredients, and to make things worse, the prices were higher than what was listed on the menu. Overall, not a good experience.

£18 for a bowl of Ramen? Extortionate. It wasn't bad food wise, just way too expensive. My daughters childrens chicken ramen on the other hand was a bargain at £5.50. Only slightly smaller than mine and was just as good. She had two.

Worst experience in this place…they take ages to get one thing…like tap water and a take away bag. It took 10 minutes to get one item as if they were making it from scratch…felt a bit racial as person suing behind us was treated with full attention. Its not like we spent less that they should treat us like this…. In fact out of humanity they should never treat everyone equally

My meal didn't contain the ingredients stated on the menu. I asked the waitress to clear my plates and give me the desert menu, she didn't clear the plates nor give me a menu. She simply brought my daughters ice cream that was included in her kids meal, but still didn't clear the plates, she just put the ice cream in the middle of dirty plates. So I moved the dirty plates myself to the adjacent table. She then began to talk about me to her colleagues and snear at me. She was working at 2pm on Thursday 12.9 24 has brown, just past the shoulder hair and an extremely short skirt on - so her manager can determine who it is and hopefully sack her. Also the air con was blasting on us the entire meal and we left freezing.

Absolutely awful! The pad Thai was OK, but not very substantial. & the side order never arrived at all. But the worst was the noise, horrific! Yes, there's building works next door, but there were repeated banging noises coming from the kitchen, a smashed plate, & awful music.

Visited multiple times. Food is always great and the fact they offer a variety of vegetarian options makes wagamama stand out against most local restaurants. Food turnaround is quick and although always very busy here we have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a table. Spice levels can differ significantly from one day to the next but it's never off the charts. Main drawback is they're not on deliveroo or any takeaway app - otherwise we'd order from here much more. Update: this wagamamas is one of the selected few to offer the brunch menu. If you fancy something different why not try it out. Could be a limited time thing.

Food portions have dramatically decreased since my last visit, we asked if they had given us a starter by mistake it was so small. The other meal was incredibly salty. Won’t be in any hurry to return.

Our first visit to a Wagamama ever! Totally impressed! I have been able to eat similar food in Japan and can honestly say the standard of food and service is on par with the high standards in Japan. Will we visit a Wagamama again? Definitely!

First class service by Lyla this evening. She was patient with me being very indecisive when choosing my dish. She provided me with many pescatarian alternatives. This one was a wonderful memorable dining experience thanks to Lyla!

Eaten here a few times now and can't fault anything. Great service, tasty food and never overly busy. Always consistent on all fronts. I'm not even a huge fan of Wagamama but always a pleasure dining at this particular branch.

Only problem with this place is the menu doesn't show prices until you get the bill other than that food was good

We went for tea on a quiet weekday about 4pm. The store was empty and just one other customer in front. There were 4 staff behind the counter. The burger buns were cold, stodgy and barely toasted. All the fillings were stone cold by the time the burgers had been cooked. The burgers were undercooked and mostly pink, which put us off. The fries were virtually inedible as they had been cooked and reheated and doused in a ton of salt. We went to sit just outside the front of the store and the tables were dirty and hadn’t been cleaned, yet the staff were stood doing nothing. We ended up putting most of it in the bin. As we had already left the store we didn’t go back in to complain, but contacted customer services online. They were absolutely useless and contradicted everything we said. Basically they weren’t interested and fobbed us off saying the store had met all the policies and procedures and that it wasn’t possible to have a bad meal experience there. They basically called us liars and wasn’t willing to do anything. Worst £20 we ever spent. Sadly they will loose lots of customers if they don’t improve the quality of the food they serve and their customer service. Go and spend your money elsewhere, think even McDonalds would do better for half the price.

This is a modern restaurant experience. We had a short wait to get a table. To say they cook everything from fresh to order the food came in good time. The only thing I would say is the acoustics here are not good The sound seems to travel and drown out the conversation on our table. Not a complaint more of an observation.

I cannot fault the burgers the genourous toppings fantastic …it’s the staff i went to the toilet n while Im sat on the toilet a member of staff opened the locked door with a key popped head inside ??? I said some choice words he shut the door n locked it with the key I sorted myself out went up to him he said why had he open the door?? He replied Somebody wanted to use the toilet then he said the door wasn’t showing us Locked but he had to open it with the key. I was really embarrassed about this. I left the store angry violated and frustrated. With his answers. I rang the manager and questioned he came out with the same rhetoric, the door wasn’t showing as locked but it’s naturally open. You have to lock it from the inside so if it’s shut it means somebody’s inside I explained to him. There’s not a handle on the outside so you walk inn and pull the door behind. So the door cannot be locked unless somebody is inside it No apology. no sorry Carried on blaming me or not locking the door but. I told him it was locked because you had to use the key are you.dumb What about an apology. Please have a burger on us. & Staff training or we will fix the lock so It shows that it’s locked to people outside Very poor customer service Food brilliant

looked appealing at first, ordered a teriyaki donburi. hadn’t eaten anything after and a few hours later i’m on the toilet feeling nausea. worst food poisoning ever! meat was probably frozen and out of date

Came back after years because the food court is closed until Autumn. Service is slow. After ordering, food came out in good time. Had the chicken ramen noodle soup. Didn't expect to be Ramen like Japanese style but it was awful. It reminded me of wonton noodle soup from Hong Kong, but badly made. Still had that "soapy water" taste meaning they didn't rinse the noodle after being cooked. The broth is way too salty and I can take salt. Noodles was cooked to pulp, to mush, with no bite. Chicken was grilled but overcooked and dry. Not worth £15. Go to Pho, better. Paid using QR code. I won't be back... 3 stars was being generous.

Use to really love Wagamama's but they have recently changed the menu limiting the vegan/vegetarian selection and removing most of my favourites. The choice left are still delicious but I now feel limited and this is less likely to be my first choice go to. Please bring back the old menu. The staff thought are always really helpful and friendly and it's still a great place to eat. Update they have changed the menu again and it is even more limited so much so we walked out without ordering, I would now have to consider if I would return as there ethos of 50% vegan is far from what is left on there menu. Disappointed

I'll be straight up with this: I love Wagamama's in all the years I've been going. Always have. I love the food, the fact it's so fresh, tasty and usually really quick. I don't mind that the food comes out at separate times and sometimes you've got to share your table/bench when you really don't want to. It's part of the experience. However, on this occasion the food took significantly longer than usual as we couldn't get anyone to serve us. Not a disaster as the Edemame beans turned up early, so I quite happily chomped on them instead. As ever recommended.

Took my adult grandchildren shopping and went here for lunch, we loved the food, we will be going again.

After a long day of shopping, this place was a great choice. The food was beautiful, and the fire cracker chicken curry was actually very spicy, which was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Charlotte, our server, was brilliant and made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food. 👍

Good food and friendly staff. They have vegan options to suit me and meat options to suit my partner.

The meal started with a chap called Dan writing his name on all of our place mats, we assumed this meant he would be serving us… how wrong we were. It turns out he was our opponent in an elaborate game of hide and seek which he won with ease as we didn’t see him again for 40 minutes. After being hungry and thirsty for 40 minutes we asked one of Dan’s colleagues if we had to go up to the till to order food and drinks. To be fair to the lady, she was very responsive and apologised for Dan’s training regime for the Hide and Seek World Cup and then took our order. Dan did then make a reappearance (probably realised he’d won the game) to unceremoniously slam down some drinks in front of us. When the food came it was delicious, so delicious I didn’t detect any hint of the bacteria that my Chicken Udon was laced with that would give me acute food poisoning 8 hours later. Food - £80 Drinks - £30 A week off work from severe food poisoning - priceless (unless you rely on attending work for income or have an important project on in which case it’s very, and quantifiably, expensive).

Food was good as always, just getting annoyed at how you are pressed to use the QR codes. Not all phones do this and it takes more work than simply paying your bill. What next? Will we be cooking the food ourselves too?

Went other day had a katsu curry with boiled rice instead of sticky rice was lovely, service quick and staff friendly . Its my number one stop when visiting the outlet centre

We didnt eat here but looked from outside. Was very busy, food looked good but very expensive. I have heard good things about the menu choice and type of food but refuse to pay the prices asked.

Our experience at this specific Wagamama is always phenomenal! Amazing food but even more amazing staff that work with 100% passion! We were served by Yaz and Tegan today and they both made our experience unforgettable. Yaz is an outstanding manager, so much knowledge on the product he’s selling and he honestly knows how to make the client feel special, fantastic recommendation, we will definitely have the bang bang cauliflower again and the prawn firecracker curry! Tegan also very professional and great knowledge about the dishes. Amazing dishes from the amazing head chef Adam, thank you all for making our experience so memorable. Keep doing what you’re doing and never stop being so passionate about your job because the experience is always the atmosphere and staff, the food is only the cherry on top! We will definitely be coming back for more!!

Wish theg could have different levels of spice. The food is put into bags for each meal. Surely they could leave chilli out of bags and just add.
