Five Guys in Bromley

Been here a few times and always had a good experience. Food is fresh. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly.

Food is ok but not for the value, service below expectation especially for such a famous shops. Food came with no fries - 2 portions were missing, upon complaint we have been given refund - £3??? we have try to call manager but not available, upon another complaint they add refund of total £5.10. I have gone to their website to order 2 portion of small fries - price came up to £9.50 plus fees = £13.83 We end up still hungry unable to order what was missing as they give us not enough for 1 portion. I do not know if this is poor service of local level management or company policy but expensive shop haggle about few pounds whilst mistake clearly on their side is just pathetic. I can not answer back to your reply so I am writing here - it is irrelevant that I ordered through Just eat, your shop prepare order wrong and your shop did not refund it accordingly, and if you using 3rd party to sell your products/services this is still your product/service and you take full responsibility for it rather than try to seek excuses.

Today was lovely and really quick service for lunch.

I ordered at 3pm and the ETA time kept on going up. I phoned the restaurant and they said the food is stone cold and has been sitting there, the driver never turnt up and that we should cancel. the driver then turnt up another addition 20 minutes with my inedible food.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was absolutely awful! The staff are clearly not trained to deal with customers – they were rude, slow, and showed no willingness to help. On top of that, I witnessed something completely unacceptable: a delivery driver asked to use the toilet and was refused, with the excuse that it was “for customers only.” This is outrageous! These workers are on the streets all day, ensuring customers receive their orders, and they should absolutely have access to basic facilities like a toilet. The lack of empathy and respect was shocking.I definitely do not recommend this place, and I hope management reconsiders the attitude of their staff!

One star because there are no zeros, the worst place would be without education, very bad cold snack.

Good food, takes a long time for delivery when other food from a similar location is quicker

I’m afraid I’m probably done with five guys … just a bit of a rip off these days. £76 for 4 burgers, some chips and 3 shakes. Just not worth it, especially when most of the cheese is on the foil and not on the burgers, and the order was wrong. Not good enough for that money.

Undercooked expensive burger that went straight in the bin! A point for the fries which look horrendous but tasted good and one for a great milkshake. Will not waste my money again.

I ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers, a regular chips and a drink for me and my fiancé. Thought we were maybe the third or fourth customer in the shop, and the only order of food at that time, our food for a simple meal still took 20 minutes to make. The staff who was making our food, was the only staff af the lower floor for a while, and he had to leave making our food behind to take a till order leaving our burgers just sitting there. Once we did finally get our food me and my fiancé both realised that the chips were really really overdone and were dry on the inside as well as had a burnt taste to the chips from the outside. We did ask an employee to look at it and they agreed it looked bad so they said they would change it which took another 5/10 minutes, again despite us being one of the few customers there. It was only later once we got the new chips back (which were a lot better now thankfully) I had noticed that my burger was missing the bacon whilst my fiancé’s burger had the bacon and was perfectly fine. I was confused but because I had already ate more than half my burger before noticing, and because I already asked my chips to be taken back, I didn’t want to fuss as well as wait another 20 minutes for a new burger with bacon… overall with the food costing us about £33 in total, the experience was quite bad and the only positive thing which is why I would give 2 stars for food was that their burgers were still okay to eat but for price definitely not worth it, their service 2 stars because it took way too long for the food to arrive, the order going wrong, food being overcooked and the o my slight glimmer was the staff who replaced our chips, and the atmosphere a 3 stars because of their fancy soda machine whic again was still a pain because they didint have one upstairs meaning customer have to leave their food upstairs and go back downstairs if they would like a refill. To conclude I felt quite robbed for the price I paid as well as felt like I had to wait restaurant quality time for my food only to get overcooked as well food with missing ingredients to what I paid extra for… I wouldn’t recommend this Five Guys to anyone in the area as it’s quality is well below par to the other chains I have tried in King’s Cross, London, for example where the speed as well as quality was second to none. Hopefully they can see this review and maybe have an overview to their service.

Is this the slowest McDonalds in the World. Almost 15 minutes from order to food being available

Usually love Five Guys but our order was over an hour late and when it finally arrived, we got given cold chips, two milkshakes, and a drink we'd ordered, but our 2 burgers were missing!! The main part of the order. Insane

rude staff ( mostly the cooks) , bad attitude towards costumers,rolled their eyes, couldn’t even explain stuff properly or calmly, burnt bacon on the burger, and when we tried getting a refund they started snickering and rolling eyes, they should of been taught better costumer service overall

Turn off just eat if you're not accepting orders rather than allowing people to order then waiting, because just eat won't inform on anything, it just says "thanks for your order"

Excessively loud music, overpriced, not family-friendly. I asked very politely if the music could be turned down before I ordered as I was with my young baby son. There were hardly any customers around and nobody behind me. I was told that it would be turned down, so I ordered food. Just under £20 for a cheeseburger, chips and drink. No wonder it was the only place empty. Around 10 minutes later, the music was still blaring, so I asked again and was again told it would be turned down. When I say it was loud - this was not background music, it was louder than any restaurant or record store I've ever been in. It was akin to sitting at the front next to a live music band - which is unsafe for babies' hearing. Waited outside on the busy street, which was much quieter than inside, and took my food to eat at home. Did not feel welcome in this place, and I've previously enjoyed Five Guys at Bluewater and New York. I honestly wouldn't have written a public review, but after sending feedback privately, Five Guys HQ sent an obnoxious reply to say I waited 9 minutes initially and not 10 (sure, because that makes ALL the difference 🤣), said the music was turned down (perhaps after we left?) and that loud, blaring music keeps their staff happy. If you want this environment, perhaps don't offer to turn it down in the first place? And remove the high chairs, as you are not welcoming to young families. I wasted £20 on a meal it was impossible to enjoy. Won't be returning.

if you’re going to charge £6.55 for a medium sized shake then at least package it properly and place it in a cupholder inside the bag so it gets to the customer properly!! Not really the drivers thought this is yours!

missing relish, burger was advertised as having two strips of bacon, there was just a few bacon pieces at the bottom. There was no seasoning on the fries it was all plain? Also, cold. Disappointing especially for £20

If you order from Uber they give you small fries instead of large, the rest of the foods great. Lowest star rating because it grinds my gears with the amount you pay for those fries.

It is genuinely embarrassing how bad the staff are here. They can barely read, speak or understand basic English and are so rude!

Burger was made out of gristle was not good first time bad one but spending nearly 20 for a burger it needs to be spot on really!!!!

First time visit! Fresh and delicious fries. 🍟 Cheeseburgers were tasty, with plenty topping options. Tables, floor and toilet were clean. Overpriced burger but it was good experience. Friendly and attentive service from Rosie/Rebecca.

We’ve eaten here several times now and have always been very happy with our meal. The food is always really good and if there’s ever an issue with anything ordered they replace it no questions asked. Their chips are the best and large really is a large portion - service is OK but could be better if I’m being completely honest.

Overpriced food and just not that great. Expected so much more considering the price and hype when the store first came to nugent. I really wanted to give these guys another try, but I can't justify the cost.

Amazing snack time experience here. My kid likes the chips here as they are made very fresh and burgers are delightful, they also offer roasted peanuts which are ready to eat to customers for free which is great. We visit very often and would recommend everyone for a family relax time with food

Driver was delivering, but static for 10 minutes then went the opposite direction and finally delivered to me. Chips cold by the time it arrived. Dissatisfied customer. Won’t be using justeat for a while after last 2 orders have been delayed or wrong

I ❤️ five guys, buy it all the time, I think the quality if the best around, so I don't mind paying extra for it. However the amount of chips we now get is really disappointing. Ordered on deliveroo and got a large which is meant to be for 3/4 people..when it arrived there was only a cup full. Which is significantly less than usual. Everything else was lovely. But I'll not be going back as regularly now.

Food was ok but was only Luke warm

Stopped on my way home. Closes at 10 but was in there at 9.45. Served by the most arrogant female, obviously peeved that I dared to expect serving. Male member of staff sweeping floor and emptying the dustpan using his hands and then handling my bun without changing his gloves. I asked him to replace my bun as he'd handled it after picking up rubbish from the floor. The female staff member rounded on me saying he had gloves on as if that's ok! I was astounded at her arrogant rudeness and this put my back up. When I asked for the manager she walked away completely ignoring me. This did nothing to endear her to me and when the manager did come to speak to me she came at me, pointed her finger shouting that I was rude. He then shouted at her to go away. It's bad enough that a burger and fries is more than £15 which made me question why I was there in the first place but to be served by such a outstandingly ignorant person was too much. Without question I will not be going back. Hygiene standards are extremely low, no matter how good the burgers are, you still take a chance on your health.

Very expensive for what it is! Bags of potatoes on show, not the best decor & looks like they've no storage. Tables were dirty. Food was extremely greasy served in foil wrappers, don't like my chips with skins. Haven't & won't be back again! Front doors were open so it was cold eating in!

Great burgers, generous fries and good humoured staff! My grandson loves the burgers and keeps asking to go back! Be aware it's not a cheap deal so maybe not the place if you're on a budget.

Yeh its very good and love the fresh cooked burgers here plus the massive portions of fries its just the price. £28 for 1 small burger, 1 hot dog, 1 large fried and a refillable drink. Payed £8.65 fot this bacon cheese dog ! Better value burgers offered closely in the retail park.

Terrible service order turned up with 2 drinks and a milkshake missing the driver lied and said he was going back to get them but never returned when I called the restaurant the staff member who answered was shockingly rude when I asked if he could send this items with another driver he refused when I put in for a refund just eat did not refund me my money I would advise anyone to check your order at the door

As five guys go, this one doesn't quite hit the mark.

The food is an absolute disaster - ordered the grilled cheese sandwich…being a vegetarian there weren’t many options. Got the yellow burger cheese which was not grilled, but has melted in a burger bun! Interesting bit was the sesame burger bun was turned inside out (to make it look like a sandwich I guess 🤦, the I’m assuming someone must have stamped on it to look like it was toasted!!! 0 tasted, tried to dip it in lots and lots of mayo and ketchup to get something out of it but couldn’t eat half. Paid £6 for a cheap yellow burger cheese 0.10 a piece, and a small, cheap sesame bun 0.30, total value 0.40 and probably 0.10 extra for whoever made an effort to stamp on it! Never again

It’s never too busy, I believe that’s the reason for being one of the nicest Five Guys I usually go :)
