Five Guys in City of London, Westminster

Visited five guys during my lunch time at around 1:05-1:25pm on the 29 Feb 24, it has improved way a lot than last year. Staff are incredible in general but a big shout out to “Andry” *I hope I spelled it right* the guy with the arm tattoo (hopefully this helps identifying him) 😅 he was great with treating customers, smiling and super friendly. please keep it up, you’re doing great! 😊

We went in for some dinner. Salome coelho overheard is was my daughter’s birthday and without any hesitation she immediately said my daughter’s meal is on the house. I was so impressed by this. Thank you!

The burgers and fries were both the best we’ve had for a good while, including at other Five Guys. Burgers (we went all in) were juicy and moreish. Chips weren’t too salty, just right. And nice and hot. Kids had hot dogs which came with toppings exactly as specified. They went down well. Banana milkshake tasted like actual banana. What’s more, the staff were really friendly, efficient and genuine.

Located opposite the station entrance, Five Guys is handy for a bite before or after a journey. However it doesn't feel very exciting considering the prices. On my visit it was a little difficult to order because of the insistence on playing bad music loudly combined with the counter being staffed by someone who couldn't understand a clear order. The drinks machine was also not the best with straws not always supplied and the lids being a difficult fit for the standard cup. The food was what's come to be standard from Five Guys and the restaurant was tidy but it didn't feel particularly inspiring and thus instead felt overpriced.

Five Guys claim on their website that the assortment of toppings they offer for their burgers allows for up to 250,000 different combinations. There are 15 different toppings and sauces that you can add to your burger, all included in the price. I’m not sure who did that calculation because this number seems a bit suspect to me. But hey, I’m no mathematician – that’s why I’m writing restaurant reviews and not studying statistics – so maybe they’re right.The combination of toppings I chose for my Saturday night cheeseburger went like this: tomato, lettuce, pickles, grilled onions and ketchup. These veggies sat atop two juicy beef patties and two gooey slices of American cheese of such bright yellow that it was almost fluorescent. It was all crammed inside a sesame seed bun and each mouthful was glorious. The savoury beef, the sour pickle, the sweet ketchup, the creamy cheese – they all came together to create an explosion of flavour. One thing I really like about Five Guys is that the veggies aren’t just an afterthought. You get, for example, thick slices of tomato and pickle, and not just the token shred of lettuce that some other burger chains offer. Another thing I really like are the chips. Crispy fried in peanut oil, they are cooked skin-on which gives them a wholesome flavour that fries at other fast-food franchises simply can’t match. I’m always impressed by the portion size, too. Their website says they add an extra scoop of chips to the bag, which must be a genuine claim because there’s plenty in just a regular portion. Deliveroo brought us our food on time and our order of two burgers and two portions of fries came to just under £30. You pay a premium price at Five Guys, but I don’t mind paying this because you get a premium burger.

Tuvimos una entrega para el almuerzo en la que tuvimos una hamburguesa doble normal y una hamburguesa vegetariana acompañada de papas fritas. El problema con la entrega en el período Covid-19 es que la comida está tibia. Tuvimos que recalentar las patatas fritas que estaban muy bien. Burger estaba bien, nada que gritar a los tejados. . 2 horas después, la comida es un poco difícil de digerir y todavía está en mi estómago. Habiendo dicho que la comida rápida es la palabra correcta. . Desde el momento en que ordenamos hasta recibir el pedido fueron 15 minutos como máximo.

Minimum paid work at the place so service is a joke,, server cud barely speak native English, was rude and arrogant and food wasn't all that for the money they charge,, maybe up ya wages and hire people who can actually speak English

Dreadful overpriced burger and sickly sweet milkshake. Staff have awful attitude of distain towards customers. Unfriendly. Never again

クリスマス時期の昼食で利用しました。ほんとハンバーガー屋さんです。オーソドックスなハンバーガー小（成人男性ではちょっと物足りないかも）が5.25ポンド、フレンチフライが3.25ポンド、リフィル可能なソーダーが１人3.55ポンドと、日本の感覚からするとお高めです。ほぼ同様のメニューにチキンナゲットをプラスしてもほぼ10ポンドだったマックと比べると、倍の価値は無いと思います。

I walked by ealing and I stop for a quick and nice burger with a friend. A guy called Fabio served us. He was really friendly and he suggested us the best burger and spicy fries. Nice atmosphere with all the employees smiling and helpful

Went in to get their new gingerbread shake and it was absolutely delicious! Didn’t have to wait long and staff was efficient and friendly!

Th burger is very good but for the price there are plenty decent burger places in London so I will not be rushing back!

Great burgers and love their chips but it's a bit too greasy (this might be the secret of their success) Good for once in a while junk food craving. Tip: Milkshakes are great!

I was expecting a bit more from five guys , I had burger chips and a coke and it was just a average burger the chips were soggy and the total bill was £18 , if you want a good burger visit patty and bun

Although five guys make your food in a open space, I always look to see what's going on. On many occasions I've seen flies go on my bun and ask them to change it. This particular day another fly decides to sit on the burger bun whilst they are frying the meat. I told them to change the bun and it seems as if they had an attitude. How dare they. The money I spend on the food you provide I don't need to see an attitude when I'm asking you to change the fly egg infested burger buns. So people when you go five guys please watch as they prepare your food. You may think it's minor but if you look up what flies do as soon as they touch food you will understand.

3 hamburguesas 2 estándar 1 pequeña, 1 papitas pequeñas 2 regulares y 3 refrescos 49. 9! ! ! ! ! ! , las hamburguesas estaban buenas como las patatas fritas, pero son 3 veces mejores que los arcos dorados o BK en la reflexión definitivamente no. No puedo ver lo que está pagando, no tiene servicio de mesa, no estaba especialmente limpio, la música era demasiado ruidosa (incluso si era una buena selección de canciones). No regresaremos

Soy un americano que vive en Londres, así que sé buena comida americana cuando yo la tengo. Yo había oído hablar de cinco chicos y recientemente he tenido el tiempo para parar para una comida. Lo que un total error! La hamburguesa pedí debe de haber sido una de las que había sido estar en el lado de la parrilla por lo menos una hora porque estaba seco y alrededor de los bordes y tenían una pinta grasienta. También fue cálido y no caliente porque no estaba claramente recién hecho. La patty también era bastante finas y sin sabor como si proceden de la corte de carne más barata cinco chicos podía comprar. En cuanto a la vainilla batido que encargué, cinco chicos claramente no creo en productos de calidad como el shake sabor azúcar puro, que me llevaron a creer que el más barato de helado de vainilla. Ah, y sin duda era caro. Hay vendedores de comida Street en Londres que en realidad saben cómo cocinar una buena hamburguesa y ésta sería decepcionante y fuera de hamburguesa de cadena de vergüenza. Te irá muy bien a este lugar en el pase.

£13.70 for watery orange juice, tasteless burger and fries. Yes it was warmer than a Macdonalds and more fries but at least a Big Mac tastes of something and a third of the price. Staff pleasant but not helpful.

This is the grossly overpriced version of a McDonald’s or Burger King. Spend your money in one of the other burger shops around: they also offer pricey burgers but have a nicer atmosphere.

Service was good and with a smile. The food was served in silver foil and brown bags. felt like i was eating in secret. we had a beef dog two cheeseburgers fries and drinks. nothing to write home about

You get what you expect from a five guys burger shop. The meat is nice but I didn’t like the fries at all. What I really don’t like about this chain are their prices. I think they are overpriced considering the quality of their food.

Me sorprendió saber que algo así como 69 Cinco hombres están en el REINO UNIDO. Bien, teníamos hambre y a pesar de la etiqueta de precio, disfrutamos cada bocado. Tenían un montón de asientos, que parecía ser muy concurrido después de conseguido nuestras comidas. Ubicado cruzando la calle desde el final de la línea de una de las líneas de metro de Londres, este lugar puede ser muy concurrida. Si no sabes nada mejor, yo diría que fue el hogar de juro NC. La tienda estaba bien cuidado y no tengo ninguna queja, a pesar de lo que algunos otros han escrito. Este fue un regalo.

A bit pricey but I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality. Couldn't finish it all and it tasted great.

Fuimos allí para un simple batido de vainilla. Pagamos el precio, entonces esperamos. . Y esperamos.. La taza era en realidad al lado de la máquina para el "shake shake máquina" pero nada sucedió durante 10 minutos. Personal merodeando por, riendo, bromeando, no había tanta gente. Finalmente alguien me pongo a hacer mi batido después de 10 minutos de pedir. Shake era muy bonito, aunque sin duda no merece un fiver.

Estado aquí tres veces desde que abrió sus puertas y no me ha decepcionado hasta ahora. Las hamburguesas son excelentes, bien sazonada y delicioso. Las patatas fritas también son excepcionales. Totalmente recomendado.

nice looking shop and menu, but very dry overcooked burger, sauce hadn't been added and fries over priced - over £4.00 for regular fries! it was a takeaway in foil - so very soggy bread - better off going to burger king

My friends and I ordered a meal from this restaurant from Deliveroo. Not only was the order incorrect, when it arrived the whole bottom of the bag was soaked in oil. When we opened the bag, one of the burgers had been poorly wrapped and was now squashed flat at the base of the bag - hence the oil. The other two burgers were fine. When we complained, Five Guys refused to accept responsibility and blamed Deliveroo who were patently not at fault. This was not a problem with delivery, just the poor quality control in the restaurant. Thankfully, Deliveroo decided to offer a full refund even though they were blameless. Five Guys also forgot the shake. I expected better from a franchise with such a good reputation

The place is a bit pricey comparing to other fast food restaurants in London, that's true, but you pay for what you get. Their (All The Way) Cheeseburger is delicious and so fresh. So are the Five Guys fries. I think Ealing Broadway needed a place like this. Staff members are very friendly and the entire place is clean too. Best burger I've had in my life so far was in Five Guys.

I was delighted to see this Five Guys as I came out of Ealing Broadway station. I had been craving a Five Guys burger all weekend!I was served quickly and my burger was delicious! Lots of seats for eating in and a fantastic juice machine, where you can experiment with flavours to your hearts content.

We got there in the week in the end of the afternoon. Was empty... The restaurant was smelling very bad. I just stayed I because the kids wanted to. It is interesting to mix your own soft drink. The diversity of extras you can put in your burger make the experience worth. The of the burger taste was good but the chips were not tasty at all.

This is the second time i have visited this burger restaurant i was working nearby and called in just had a Burger & large fries with a coca cola - the Bill came to £13.25 I think that is a little expensive thank god i didn't take all my family, would have cost a fortune. However the burger and fries are very nice but not much different than Burger king. So due to there prices i wont go again.

the burgers here are exactly how a burger should be juicy cheesy, not all together healthy but the itch gets well and truly scratched! it's not high brow, it's not fancy, but it does do exactly what it says on the tin. And once you have had their strawberry milkshake I defy anyone to say they have had better at the likes of mcD!Their cherry milkshake and 50 gazillion different ways to drink coke are really the only fancy things about the place, and yet I do not think i will ever set food it a McD, BK, GBK or such ever again. And it's consistent, every time...

I had a craving for a hamburger and so I headed to Five Guys in Ealing. I had had a Five Guys burger in the US some years before and I recall it being pretty good, and not particularly expensive. The burger was OK, if a little sloppy. The ingredients were fine, although the menu was a little confusing -- it looks like you have to choose your toppings separately, but when you look at it again there is a default option called "All the way" which I did not see. The cheeseburger was £8 which was excessive. The fries (£2.75 for small), which they make a big thing about were so so. Although I ordered eat in, everything was thrown into a bag with the fries all falling out. I also had a chocolate malt milkshake. This was £4.75 also excessive, I thought. It was one of the very thick shake varieties, which was fine for what it was, but wasn't very successful as a food accompanying beverage -- too thick. I was expecting the American style frothy milkshake, not a full fat thick shake. As I said it wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I wanted. The music was too loud and all the signs all over the place telling the diners how good the place was was a little of "protest too much, methinks." The music was also intrusively loud. I'm glad I got my hamburger fix, and I've learnt what the place is like, but I wont be rushing back in a hurry. £15.50 for a burger some fries and a drink is too much.

Burgers are way ahead of Maccy D's and Burger King and prices are not huge amounts more. That said it's still what it is fast food at least it's fresh. Burgers are too on the soft and greasy side for me, I much prefer the single burgers than the doubles.

This place is cool , I really like what they do . The food was delicious . Served really fast . I love the drinks machine yum.

Ealing has a new burger place. GBK is OK but rather soulless, MacDonalds is... well I've not had the 'pleasure' for 30 or so years.Five Guys seems to already be a huge hit with the local school children, absolutely packed at lunchtime., once I had to wait until it was quieter before entering the place.The service is friendly and efficient. The drinks machine had some teething problems but is rather clever and unlimited drinks works for me.The burger itself was oddly served in a foil wrap but was tasty, if a little soggy - probably related to the foil wrap...The fries were nice and served in a huge portion.The music wasn't the usual modern rubbish but included The Smiths and Blondie on one visit.I don't think this will be a regular haunt of mine but for a quick, filling and tasty burger you could do a lot worse.I've been here with my wife as well, she was less impressed by the food but thought it clean and cheerful.

No frills buger joint which delivers on its main promise.I guess this fills the gap between cardboard garbage chains (McD or BK style) and the suppsoed Gourmet Burger ones. Price is in between as well, even if closer to the latter. The burgers are good and the simple approach to DIY is nice. Fries are also tasty and come in humongous portions. Nice selection of drinks in the automatic dispensers.Decor kind of sucks, but you can see it easily from outside before stepping in. Service is usually very basic bordering on the essential, with young girls barely speaking English often manning the till... but hey, if you want the hump coming with your burger, there are two places that give that to you just down the street... Shame Wimbledon does not have a Byron yet

** This is NOT a place for those with peanut allergy **well you go in and the menu is basic, it's a burger (price 4.75 - 8.00) or hot dog (4.25- 5.50) with the addition of whatever you choose, like pickles, mushrooms , lettuce etc, then you order fries (2.75 - 5.00) which are five guy flavour or cajun. The fries are cooked in peanut oil . Then you can have a unlimited refill soft drink 2.50 or one milkshake 4.75 in a good variety of flavours like peanut butter or oreo etc. They also do grilled sandwiches(3.75 - 5.75) The person taking the order wasn't very helpful or smiley friendly. You then go to the next queue to wait for your order, whilst waiting you can choose your drink from the machine or get your condiments. They also offer free monkey nuts or shell on peanuts for you to munch on whilst there. You then get your food and choose your table and have your food. The food is not hot, not exactly special for the price you are paying and the service is nowhere on a par with the friendly service you get in the USA .It was empty compared to a heaving well known cheaper similar establishment round the corner.

So so greasing , I could feel my arteries hardening as I ate, my hands became so slippy holding the bun I gave up on my £8 bacon burger and left it. My daughter said her £5 small cheeseburger was nothing special either. Long queues ( you had to queue 3 times! 1 to order, 1 to collect and 1 for the soft drink). Limited poor quality 1980s wimpy style sitting. Not enough people cleaning the tables and indifferent staff. Will not be going back here.

The burgers are great, as are the fries, but, at nearly £15 for a bacon burger, chips & a soft drink it won't be a regular choice for me. Way overpriced given that there are no waiting staff.

Certainly the burgers are delicious and the milkshakes are fab too - however the experience is more cafeteria than American diner. You queue to order, collect when it's ready, help yourself to condiments and plastic cutlery then take a seat. It's all a bit noisy and brash and it ain't cheap either - the (admittedly generous) milkshake was £4.75! Chips have waaaay too much salt on them too, even my 13 year old son agreed! Compare it to Benito's Hat in central London, you still queue to order but service and décor is warm and friendly and overall it's a much more pleasant environment.
