Excellent food always freshly cooked

First time I’ve had food from here and the fish and chips were lovely, perfectly cooked. There’s only one criticism, their large chips aren’t very large, not compared to other fish and chip shops. So I only bought one large thinking it would be enough for the 2 of us but unfortunately not. So sadly I won’t be going there again as it would be too expensive, I’m not paying £9 on 2 portions of chips.

Fish and chips were perfect and the bacon burger was the best i have ever had, Thank you for a good meal.

very dissapointed in one of the cheese burgers, I asked for there to be no salad and no sauce in one of the burgers, however when it arrived they all had salad and sauce. this ment I had to deconstruct the burger, peal the cheese off and essentially clean it, to then place in a bun we have at home for my son. when I ask for NO SALAD and NO SAUCE I expect to find it that way

The food here is delicious and great value for money. I love the chips and the seasoning on the scampi breading. I have ordered here once before and tried the cod roe which is now my new favourite. I would recommend this place, however if I had one thing I could criticise it is the lack of tartare sauce which is a must with fish and chips. I hope Fishtucky will provide tartare sauce in the future. Other than that, lovely food 😊

Tried here for the 1st time and it's a real hit with all the family, the food was amazing! Best kebab I've ever had! Definitely be returning and reccomending!

Good honest chippy I can remember when it was a bookmakers of course but the prices are fair and the food quality is good

I had to go get it from some ones house as driver dropped it off was told wrong but did not cear my food was cold

Fish was greasy batter was not nice at all . Chips where awful had so many with black bits still in them from the potato will not order again

Food is what you'd expect. Never had an issue but it's a real shame they don't do more to maintain the outside of the shop. It's always a real mess outside on Trafalgar Rd and Bampfield St.

We got the kebabs in the first visit after they reopen and the kebabs was awesomeeee, then we tried their homemade burgers and cod&chips and was absolutely fantastic. 5 stars guys, will definitely come back

Great local fish and chips shop that does gluten free fish and chips. They prepare them in a different area cook them in a separate fryer and use separate utensils which is great if you're coeliac. 🤩

I go to this place after work most days, food is always perfect the chips, wraps and burgers are amazing I definitely recommend also the guys that work there are extremely nice.

Speedy service, friendly and helpful as i didn’t know how many portion I needed to feed everyone and the man behind the counter advised perfectly. The food hot and was excellent! Will be going back. Marked atmosphere 4 as I didn’t dine in but from what I saw and felt it was great.

Placed an order tonight the food looked very undercooked and they tried to give us old Chrispy chip in witch I asked for a refund as also was spoken to rudely in doing so don't think I'll be using this shop again for a 5 star rated chip shop this is absolutely apoorling.

Most friendly team who are always happy , polite and never anything you ask for is too much. Have used for sometime and the team have never changed. Fantastic food , utensils are clean which is a massive plus for me as well as table cleanliness and it’s condiments . 100% would recommend to anyone. I’m an extremely fussy eater. Well done to all those that work here.

Been to lots of fish and chip shops in the area. This one by far has friendliest staff and nicest atmosphere. Always enjoy the food from here. My partner likes saveloy sausages and says they have some of the best. I go for a more traditional cod and chips which is also very good.

After waiting ages for a Just Eat driver to be assigned it was a relief when the driver was at the restaurant. Unfortunately, although it then showed as being delivered it hadn't been. I phoned Fishtucky to be told that the driver may have stolen it. As a regular customer I was surprised at the attitude of the person I spoke to. There was no interest in trying to help or whether I would even like to try to order again or that I had basically lost £25. I will not be returning.

Always have very good Fish n Chips here. Fish cooked fresh, brilliant chips n mushy peas. Delicious.

Chicken is not cooked on a grill or open coal. It's not seasoned ... an definitely not a chicken Shush..flat Pieces chicken not on Skewers,, an definitely not anything to do with Turkey..waste of money

quite possibly the worst takeaway we have ever had,kebab meat bland fish batter was hard and burnt,squid chunks were tasteless, never again

Service the gentleman was very rude and blunt, got the food and the battered sausage was so tough! Not hot and you can tell it’s been sitting there for a few hours. Chips were very pale and very average. It’s a shame I used to love it there

Some potatoes were a bit black and Fishtucky are still using a polystyrene-type of box, rather than cardboard boxes (as the other local fish shops do) which can be recycled)

These were some of the worst chips we have ever tasted although the sausages and fish were on point no one likes the chips and the curry sauce was all stuck to the bottom of the blastic cup and was unusable.

The lamb donner was in a warp when it was meant to be in pita bread n was so greasy it was unbelievable n I ask for salt and vinegar on the cheesey chips but nothing never ordering again

As always a beautiful piece of cod piping hot with chips to compliment. Thank you Fishtucky, you've never let me down. 💯💋💜 Just eat on the other hand.....meh! 🤣

The food is brilliant BUT they never read the notes on the order. We asked for no onions on a burger and mayo but got all onion and burger sauce. The other burger was burger sauce and just lettace also had all the salad. It’s better to ring and pick it up

Excellent service, and the chips come out perfect too. Soft, not soggy, flavourful and quality. Sausages have consistency, not just mush. They even served me very late, when they didn’t have to which was very nice :) shkran lak

I'm a just eat rider and have tried basically every chippy in a 10mi radius and still one of the best hands down, really friendly and helpful staff, amazing food. Would recommend to anybody!

Fantastic delivery driver, very polite and arrived nice and early. The mixed grill was amazing, was expecting it in a pitta bread but was pleased to see it in a container. Lots of fresh salad and a decent amount of sauce. Chips are proper chip-shop variety and we're nice and hot too. 10/10!

Twice in a row now the chips have been barely edible due to sitting around and barely warm. Fish is always cooked fresh so why can’t you do the same with the chips? Also it’s winter so keep the door closed as waiting for my order was not pleasant and would put me off again even if you managed to serve hot chips. How can anyone even contemplate eating inside with it feeling as cold as a fridge.
