What a little gem of a find for me I was just passing through Boscome and pulled in and ordered myself all medium cod and chips an curry source and the cod an chips was on point and the curry source was the best so ill will be back Lovely and satisfying I’m given five stars

I've been a regular at Fishtales for well over a decade. Never had a sunstandard meal. Andrew the proprietor with a lifetime of chef experience, produces the bests chips in Bournemouth by my reckoning and a lush batter on flavoursome fish. Keeping it fresh with different lunchtime specials, allowing you to try something a bit different to your usual. Chairs to wait and a table if you want to be social having your chips at their very best.

After I ordered my food the delivery time kept changing! Getting longer and longer. And when my food arrived it was cold. A really disappointing experience.

Visited here tonight whilst we on a short break, absolutely delicious. We had 2 x standard cod, 1x standard chips, peas and curry and a sausage for the dog. The food is cooked fresh and was worth the short wait. The fish was pure white, nice batter and fresh chips, fantastic overall, plus the service was with a smile and friendly conversation

Convenient if going to AFCB. Collected order promptly portions good and cooked perfectly.

Owner is fabulous. Food is delicious. Can’t recommend more highly. Definitely get your fish and chips from here. If I could give more than 5 stars I would… A++++

fresh and hot, good portions size but my fish was a little bit dry otherwise would be 5 star. It would be nice to get some tartare sauce and mushy peas ( I wouldn't mind to pay extra but there is no option on just eat)

WOW! The best fish and chips we've ever had! Went to Bournemouth beach for the day and decided to find a local fish and chip shop for dinner. I placed the order on the phone and was then able to pay by card in store (Other locals ones were all cash only). The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! All freshly cooked and not one bit greasy. Simply beautiful fish and chips. Would highly recommend! 10/10

Fish tales food is perfect & Just Eat delivery service was easy to order from checking out aa a guest. It was also an excellent delivery service with my food arriving in perfect condition & piping hot with a polite delivery driver.

Stopped by after an afternoon hunting shark teeth at the beach. Good quality food, cooked to order. Cod was great and my son enjoyed his hamburger. Young chap behind the counter was polite as was the man doing the cooking. Lots of patriotic flags too - always a good thing. "Advance Britannia!"

First time ordering from here and highly recommend. Good quality, well cooked and tastes delicious. Add on fast delivered and definitely one to try!!

The food arrived hot and was delicious. Unfortunately there was a shortage of drivers this evening so the food took a long time. However Fishtales kept me informed via the just eat app. Andrew from Fishtales also gave me a call when the food was on its way to let me know it was coming. He also apologised for the long wait. The food was cooked to perfection and they obviously waited until they knew the driver was there as it was clearly cooked fresh. I'm very impressed with the service!

Ordered some battered sausages and chips. Was probably one of the best I have had in Bournemouth. Big thumbs up will be ordering again!

Delivery time put back 5 times. Courier didn't arrive at restaurant until 30 mins after first delivery time. First time ordering from here so won't be back.

Honestly the best fish and chips we have had in a while. Well cooked, lovely service and perfect portion size. Definitely worth every penny 😍👌🏻 I had chicken chunks with chips and my partner had cod and chips and he said it was a lovely piece of a great size too. Perfect

The food was nice and arrived hot but the boxes that are used to put the food in smell awful, like they have been stored in a damp area. Having ordered a few times I've found I need to be quick getting the food out of the boxes or the food gets spoiled with the odour of the boxes.

Ordered cod and chips. While not greasy, both tasted like they were cooked in overused oil. The cod underneath the batter was nice.

Popped in for lunch, and I can say the chips and battered sausage were amazing. Would highly recommend going if you're in the area.

Totally disgusted with your company.Accidentally ordered collection instead of delivery.Realised immediately and tried in vain to contact you. In fact your tracks are impossible to uncover.You have ensured that no customer can ever get to you. Tracked down a telephone number that swiftly informed me that it was going to cost £6 an hour then cut off.The restaurant staff were amazing but couldn't change the order or contact you. Collection was impossible for me.Cannot believe a company as large as you can get away with such shabby customer service!!

The food was fantastic, chips were lovely and soft and fish was tender. The food arrived piping hot. The delivery driver was smiling and was so polite. The batter was light and crispy spot on. Highly recommend this place to my friends.

We had cheesy chips. Wow. The cheese was the real thing grated. The chips were lovely and crunchy, soooo tasty. Really happy with our choice.

We love Fishtales, great tasting food, good service with friendly staff. Best to order quick if you like their pea frittas as they sometimes run out. Good portion sizes too.

Fishtales is always our no1 choice for fish & chips. We have ordered many times and its always perfect quality, freshly cooked, piping hot & delivered quickly. Fish portions are good size & batter never soggy. Its also superb value for money in comparison to others. We find 1 standard chips is enough for 2, and we have good appetites. Cant praise highly enough. Thanks for another lovely dinner!

Pleasantly surprised by the freshness of both fish and chips. I’m particular with my food and I stick with what I know. It was good to try something new and not being disappointed. The delivery was also on time. I’ll definitely order again.
