Always very nicely cooked and good portion size. The staff are friendly and helpful. The onion rings are incredibly and massive but worth the money.

Shocking delivery today, missing 3 sausage in batters and just had the chips delivered... Makes not sense. Delivery driver again can't read a road sign and went to the wrong house. For the price they're charging you expect a better service.

Food was very hot and tasty I had fish, my husband had a Burger said it was very tasty onion rings lovely and crispy, we will order again from them.

food was never delivered i had to go to shop my self as there is no option on just eat to say not delivered. feel very sorry to the owner, they re did my order and the food was great.

Overpriced and tiny portions. Cold food. I feel proper ripped off. Apparently this portion of chips is large! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else that actually provides the right amount of food because all the previous reviews show you all the same complaint and the responses of sorry and thank you for bringing to their attention yet months later they are still doing it. The profit they make on chips is huge. So why ruin your reputation over it?!

I approached serving window today 30 July 24, 90 seconds before opening time at midday and she turned me away. How's that for service?

I never received my order and it is a difficult process to ask where my food items are as I need to wait for an email from JustEats for the delivery issues. The shop does not take responsibility as they said once the food items are with the rider, it is out of their hands.

had the monday deal of 4 battered sausages and chips, great value for money, huge portions, hot and fresh and the curry sauce is the best from any other chip shop. 1st time ordering and definitely not the last.

Well done to Lewis and team at fish n chicken. Food had to be cooked again as they waited over an hour for a Just Eat driver to be allocated. Ordered at 11am this morning so absolutely no excuse. Great food and service from Lewis. Abysmal service from Just Eat and make it as difficult as possible to contact them. My elderly Mother is very confused and didn’t understand why her food was not delivered on time. Thank you Lewis and all at Fish n Chicken for saving the day. Just Eat need to do better.

not usually one to complain as this place has never disappointed before, ordered many times, but tonight the fish had bad taste and smell, chips looked and tasted like been reheated. sorry for bad review, but wanted to make u aware for a relatively expensive, could not eat the fish or the chips. if u want to collect to see, pls do so.

I often use this chip shop buy going to the store I got a delivery this time and the chips were awful a Nd the chicken coating was horrible too I thought it might be my tastebuds but my family agreed was very disappointed

I hhe chicken Royal burger and chips. The chicken was extremely disappointing, being very thin and dry. This burger consisted of 2 large and rather greasy onion rings and a slice of cheese. The chips are unfortunately sub par, again being greasy and the portion size is rather small for the price paid. Service was lovely, cannot fault the staff, however will not be returning as for the same price, burger king is a 10minute walk away.

Not great! We used to get our usual takeaway here, but lately they never have Southern fried chicken ready on Saturday at 5.30pm! Why not? Told a 40 minute wait, and this has happened on 3 occasions now. Bought large chips and it was almost cold and barely enough chips for a child. We will find somewhere else in future as they used to be good... not anymore sadly.

We are regular customers of yours and having just driven home from the West Country thought we would have fish and chips. We ordered around 6.15 this evening and was shown a delivery time of around 6.55. It was eventually delivered around 8pm and when dished up the chips were of particular poor quality and just about warm. The fish was better but still lukewarm. Not up to your normal standards. We’ll think twice in future if you can’t deliver on time and improve the quality when you do.

Requested a refund as had a chips missing so had to share 1 chips between 3 of us so not great

They tend to blow hot or cold, one day the food will be exceptional, blasting furnace hot, bursting with flavour and huge portions. The next it’ll be like warm, bone dry (chicken) as if it been sitting there from the day before and a child size portion. When they are good they are fantastic… when they are on an “off day” you’re better off going somewhere else. Sorry.

Cold and rotten chips, pie was rock hard on top , it was so hard, you could use it for a hammer.

Not busy, quite clean. By the time we got home fish was a bit soggy being wrapped in a box. Found it quite expensive

Yet again, our fish and chip meal was late being delivered. This was caused by the fact that a driver wasn't allocated to the job until minutes after the delivery time booked. This is not the first time that our fish and chips has been late because the driver wasn't allocated until either almost the delivery time or after it. Please ensure that you allocate drivers well before the delivery time requested. Who wants to eat such a heavy meal at almost 9 in the evening? Not us! I request delivery for 8 o'clock not 25 minutes later.

Awful....absolutely dreadful. Fish so over cooked as we're the chips tasted like both were fried in very old fat....won't be ordering from you again

I ordered the delivery for 20:00 hours, but the driver was not assigned to the job until 3 minutes after this time. He did not pick the food up until about 10 minutes after this time and was therefore almost 20 minutes late delivering the food. No problem with Fish'n'Chick'n only Just Eat. This is not the first time the driver has been assigned after the order should have been delivered.

Got completely the wrong order. Phoned the shop, to tell them. Only to be told, they'd replace my order, but I'd have to come and collect it myself. I think fishnchicken , need to send there staff, on a customer service refresher course, that's if they'd been on any at all.... £26 out of pocket, the rigmarole you have to go through to get a refund, is unbelievable

Paid £14.05 for what can only be described as a childs portion of cod and chips. It was freshly made and tasted nice, but so over priced for portion size.

Luke warm chips that were over cooked

Chips were rock hard and looked like the dregs you normally get at the bottom of a bag, only they were all like that - managed to eat about 4 of them. Cod had obviously been keeping warm for some time and wasn't fresh. Pretty awful to be honest. Mushy peas weren't mushy at all, just in one big lump. Some quality control wouldn't go amiss for the cost. Just awful.

Food great but had to chase where it was after 45 minutes late. Restaurant were really helpful and said that it'd be better if I could collect (not ideal) they then called me when I was 2 minutes away to say driver was there so I headed back. Not a great experience but the restaurant said they don't have their own drivers and it was up to just eat not asigning a driver.

Totally wrong order advised to request a refund from Just Eat as it was the fault of Just Eat driver !! Still awaiting confirmation though !!

Driver was stood at one spot for atleast half hour before even starting to move and when food got it here it was not hot.
