Man this was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, fish tasted so clean and the batter was perfect 10/10 would recommend.

We visit this chippie for a treat every so often and have enjoyed all our meals. Good fish and lots of hot chips, looking forward to the next visit!

This is such a shame. it’s hard to find that perfect batter. I ordered small cod and small chips. They always pile on the chips. I dont want that many thats why I ordered small, but they are very good. And when it comes to the fish it’s very thin and wide and so it has so much batter to cover it. If only the fish was nice and chunky that way there would be less batter to cover it all. Let’s face it. It’s not a healthy meal. So less fried chips and thicker cod pieces but same weight. £8 for small cod and chips. It’s 12£ in a nice pub Shame. Great taste but disappointed with sizes

Live locally so I’ve seen this place go through a fair few owners over the past few years. When every new owner has come along, I’ve given it a go and unfortunately I always left disappointment. Can safely say I’m no longer swerving the place like a bad smell. Food is deliciously fresh now and the people there are lovely. Shout out to the young lady that works there too on the window, she is super sweet and always friendly. 100% would recommend.

The food arrived hot and on time via UberEats. The cod was fresh, cooked to order and utterly delicious with a light & crispy batter with hardly any oil. In our opinion the quality and taste of the fish surpasses Vintage Fish and Adams Fish Bar.

I love this place, always great food, fish and chips amazing, their batter is nice, fish is of high quality and flakey, they do burgers, they are very friendly, gets very busy i somtimes order over the phone and collect, always our regular.

Visiting the area and stopped off for dinner. Great cod and chips - freshly cooked and prices very reasonable. Big portions. Friendly staff. High recommend.

You, get a friendly reception,upon arrival.its clean and the food is good, I like my chips to be crunchy, which they cook for you, the cod is big , flakes. The batter nicely seasoned. Something they try every now and again,is put a new oriental flavour in with. Like a superb curry sauce. The one we're you get that warm/hot afterglow in the back of your mouth. The batter on the fish is crunchy, and with the big flakes of cod.its a very good alternative,to the kebab. The prices are modest.and you can't go wrong. And every piece is edible.till the last chip. Recommended.

This is my local fish and chip shop and they provide a good quality for a very good price! The service is always with a smile and the owners treat their regulars well
