First Choice in Camden

An absolute dump, but it's open late, so you go there if you are hungry after the pub. The prices they want are ridiculous considering what rubbish the food is. In the end I just ordered some chips, which were cold and horrible. A nasty place.

旅行中に何も考えずに入ったお店．バーガーとか，フィッシュアンドチップスとかが食べられるファストフード屋でだいたい料理がでかいので一つで十分です． 食後にお会計します．店頭にメニューと値段が掲げられているのですが，席に座ってメニューを見ると全部1，2ポンドほど高い．実際はこちらの値段が請求されるので注意．ボッタクリです．店内にある冷蔵庫から自由にドリンク取っていいよとか言われますが，冷蔵庫にも店頭にもドリンクの値段は書いてません．（実際は缶コーラが2ポンドほど）悪質ですね． 味は典型的なイギリス料理という感じ．味がなくて脂っこいフィッシュフライが出てきたので，テーブルにあるケチャップとマヨネーズで自分で味付けします．バーガーも同じ．良く言えば素材の味なのかもしれません． フィッシュアンドチップス，バーガーとフレンチフライのセットなどどれも9ポンドほどだったでしょうか．コスパはまあ悪いです．近くのバーガーキングかマクドナルドに行くほうが遥かに賢い選択ですね．

Le pregunté específicamente si tenían Lamb Donner, ya que les expliqué que no me gustaban los otros tipos de cordero. Se echaron a reír y todavía me sirvieron la comida equivocada. La comida no se parece en nada a lo que han anunciado, y sabe a la par. El personal fue grosero y continuamente se reía de mí, y hablaba en un idioma diferente entre ellos, lo que me hizo sentir consciente de mí mismo, especialmente porque estaba solo. La hamburguesa de pollo estaba seca, y todo es tan caro para la comida que realmente recibes. No volveré allí, y no lo recomendaría a nadie.

Worth walking 10 seconds further from the station for absolutely anything else. When asking if they had donor and them insisting they did they still tried to give us shish/shawaran . All the while making comments to each other in another language and laughing. The food was average at best. Also ordered a chicken burger which has dry bread! Had a lot better kebabs else where in Camden and for less money. They’re probs only still open because they’re so close to the station.

Except the fact that they are very rood.Me and my friends had a terrible food poisoning from this place..Please avoid it..

I am afraid that the stuff is missing on some basic rules of hospitality. McDonald’s way better! I’m just saying.

It was raining out, as we walked past the guy said "come in get some food, get out of the rain, come inside." We did, as soon as we paid the same person came over and said "you can't eat inside at night." We were served our food and forced to go outside in the torrential rain, and we had only gone inside to avoid the rain. Awful experience, inexcusable misleading, it was cold and calculated to make a sale. The staff were heartless to throw us outside when the rain was literally the worst I have seen in months. Not to mention we were walking to the McDonald's when we went past here and we switched our plans on the basis of the staff promising us shelter. We ended up throwing all our food away and running to McDonald's.

Having been here several times in the past I've never managed to find them on trip advisor until now! The staff in there are brilliant and even though I'm not a regular customer they remember me and my friend every time. The prices, considering its London, are fantastic. I got one of their huge breakfasts. The brilliant thighs is that they're easy on changing the dish. I didn't want tomatoes and they encouraged something else (extra black pudding for the Scotsman inside me!) And I got coffee AND toast included with the meal. My only gripe with this cafe is the 50p charge to use the contactless chip and pin machine. Other than that it's great value for money, nice staff, nice big cafe that do virtually anything. The menu has a lot of choice from all day breakfasts to lasagne! Definitely worth a visit

Stopped in here on way back to holiday apartment after long day at Wimbledon. I joked I could eat a scabby horse. Turns out that would have been preferable to the garbage served here. Fish was rubbery suggesting it had been sitting for hours. Chips were half cooked. There are plenty of other options in the area so take your money and spend it more wisely somewhere else.

The only reason why I'm giving rating is to write a review.. This was the worst experince for me and friends. Food wasn't cooked it was raw meat. Chips tasted like it was fried more than several times. First choice? More like not even last choice. Also the waitress, boys need to shower can't serve food in that state.!!!!!DO NOT EAT FROM HERE.

The food is ok, but as it's so busy at night a lot of it is pre-prepped and I'm not convinced the food hygene is up to much.

This was truly a horrible experience. We all found gristle in our kebabs, none of us could finish our meals. At the cost of £6!!! I have never had a worse kebab!

Great service and gigantic portion for just £6.50. My wife and I decided to share a set of Fish and Chips and was given a second set of cutlery unlike other eatery. =)

I just popped in here at lunch time for a quick bite to eat and I must say the chips were amongst some of the best I've had for a long time. Perfectly cut - flatter than many places, and a generous portion too. Thank you.

Ordered from them lots of times. OK kebab, not the best, there's the odd bit of bone or hard bit in the lamb donner meat unfortunately. But they're always quick and on time, which is the important thing.

The Rock Fish so small it should be XS= extra small and the Lamb doner had 3 pieces of meat in the pitta. Poor quality. In fact the Cola was warmer than the chips. Am done with this company. They got the order wrong and when i called up they said that they will send another one on the way, but it never came and they stopped responding when i called again after two hours.

Absolutely wonderful food. Everyone enjoyed fish chips and some curry sauce. My kebab was delicious with fresh salad and chilli sauce. Would definitely recommend this takeaway to anyone.

Unfortunately the chips were very greasy and undercooked. The curry sauce was congealed by the time it reached us and we were only a couple of miles away from the takeaway. It's great to have the convenience of delivery but the food needs to be of a decent standard. 🙁

The food was okay. But the way they delivered the food was disrespectful. Putting the Fanta can on top of the box of food. Obviously the burger and chips will flatten. But other than that the food was delivered on time. Which was good.

I found hair in my chips, when i called sthe restaurant i was treated with disrespect. On the other hand the kebab was nice and delivery was early but still wouldnt order from here again.

My delivery did not turn up on time, and when I called to ask where my delivery was the man was very rude and even swore at me! I did not get my delivery and will NOT be ordering from them again.

Fish they gave was a lot smaller than usual, probably cut in half from one fish because I ordered two fish. The extra chips I ordered was in small portion (£2.00 chips) when I expected more, of which was mainly black, mouldy chips. I strongly recommend NOT buying from this takeaway and I will never buy a takeaway online again because of this.
