Took ages and was cold and Nutella pizza was horrible

Delivery time was ok, but driver droped 2 milkshakes on carpet by my front door. Not happy about that had spend like 25 min to clean this and driver left in the meantime when i was getting cleaning stuff. Now im left with cold food as well.

Came in just to ask for a milkshake actually. Not a busy time at all. Super lax and no urgency. Grabbing fistfuls of ingredients and just throws it in. No washed hands, no gloves after handling a bunch of other equipment and with hands that already clearly have cuts and plasters. Milkshake was below average too (size and taste) for the price

30 mins after ordering my order was cancelled. Wasted my time

Food wise it's tasty but staff does not comply with food hygiene. Saw staff handle cash and straight away handle food preparation without washing hands. This is the reason for a 1 star review. Staff should be trained in food hygiene

I rang the restaurant it was ordered from to be told it had been sent to another restaurant. An hour later neither is acknowledging where the order is coming from and refusing a refund, I understand it’s a Friday night but the lack of communication is disappointing.

Some of the nicest staff I’ve ever come across at a pizza place. On top of that pizza was quality. Great all round

Nice fresh pizza, however not very generous with toppings.

Was lovely only I didn’t get the correct desert. Asked for the white chocolate space rocks and got the tartufo limoncello

2nd time ordering, 1st order was good, 2nd cold wings and pizza, 12 pieces of ham and pineapple on the pizza, spot the topping, not great at all, Calzone stuffed but cold also, shame as first order was good

Don't bother ordering for delivery. I've ordered a few times from here and each time it's been really slow. Tonight, I ordered at 1940 and got an email saying that it left at 2010. Its been 50 minutes since that email and nothing has arrived. No doubt that if it does arrive in the next few minutes, it will be cold since it's been in transit for 50+ minutes.

We have just spent £40 on 3 pizzas and 2 sides. Our delivery was due at 7.20 and arrived at 7.45 stone cold. We called and spoke to the female 'manager' who argued with us and refused to do anything unless we returned our order then wait another hour for a new order to be delivered! 6 months ago service was so much better here. I would advise you to spend your money elsewhere- Fireaway Selsdon has definately lost at least one customer this evening.

I had a groupon voucher which at face value seemed a good deal. Upon arrival there were 2 female assistants to whom I presented my barcode . The food preparers appeared chaotic and looked as tho they didn’t want to be there. They had no napkins or cutlery and I had a holoumi salad and cannelloni desserts. Also the order took in the region of 30 minutes which compared to domino’s a competitor is far too long. Although the food was good the preparation was far to slow and the lack of utensils I downgrade the experience to a 3 star

So I’ve been going here for a while. The chap who used to run it was great! But tonight we popped in to order the chicken strips and halloumi but there was no halloumi in stock. This was fine so we chose a pizza instead. We ordered and the lady said 10-15 mins. Not a problem…. Until everyone else was getting served and then the 30 min mark went past so I just asked kindly. The reply was “it’ll be ten mins!”. So we waited even longer and I felt more and more sorry for the poor chap at the counter who had waited ten mins for the order just to be taken!! The pizza arrived first but then waited another five for the chicken strips. Finally we received the whole order together and thought we may sneak a bite of the chicken on our way to the car… and lo and behold the chicken came straight back up!! We thought ohwell must be a glitch etc… so we tried the pizza…. Holy moly what a waste of £20-£30 it all was! That went into the nearest bin! Absolutely shocking! I can guarantee I won’t hear nothing back as it’s all a “Franchise”! No where to complain other than on here so please everyone be very hesitant!

Very fast delivery, pizza was not as good as I was expecting, just average.

Food was good. Didn’t deliver the drink, no response from the driver.

The Owner Pav is such a helpful guy, he always know how to please his customers, the pizzas are so so delicious!

It is not the same burger place it was just a couple of years back, the quality of everything dropped not to mention a lot more new burger places in Croydon since. My last order the burgers were tough and chips aren’t as good as they used to. It isn’t even average now.

It was ok ish - but with respect a pizza from Lidl or Sainsbury’s taste much better, pizza was cold, toppings were mean and it was a bit rubbery. Chicken strips tasted ok but were also cold and a bit soggy. Sorry but I don’t think I’ll buy again.

Those chilli and honey chicken strips were AMAZING. The Teddy pizza was a decent amount for my niece!

Tried Fireaway for the first time this evening. Order delivered quickly and arrived hot. Pizzas were both good with plenty of toppings. Would use again.

This is how my food arrived!!! Absolutely disgusted with this!!! And when I called them they said I need to call UBER to cancel. Terrible. Never again

My pizza was cold and not a lot of chicken on the pizza

Cold, driver dropped both our sides on drive, ordered calzone and was no filling just tough cheese and some undercooked pepperoni

Food came cold and was really burnt

After reading many positive reviews I ordered from here. Slightly disappointed as a fan of traditional thin crust Italian pizzas. It was more rubbery than crispy. The cheese and toppings were scarce, and it was just ok. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t brilliant either. Still on the hunt for the perfect pizza company in Croydon. I can’t fault the delivery time or the food temperature. The Builders Arms pub serves far nicer fresher tasting pizzas or even outdoor pizza stalls you would find at an event or festival would be preferable.

Everything was spot on! The bbq chicken strips were really tasty, I was about to order from kfc but thought I'd give this a try, stands out by miles, pizza was also yum, milkshake and dessert perfection. My order didn't take long to arrive either and was hot, nothing to complain about as I'm well and truly stuffed now! Haha thanks

This was my first time having a Fireway pizza, and I am now converted. The pizza was perfect and you must try their strips with the Chilli Honey coating, perfect.

Staff is very friendly and food is very delicious. The shop was very neat and clean.

Pizza tasted meh. Its supposed to be made quick but the person working thr counter was very slow and wouldn't do it even though there were no customers. The place is spacious and clean and the staff is friendly but wouldn't go again.

Waited an hour for delivery, then got a notification that delivery was cancelled. Don't have time to order anything else for lunch now!

Ordered a take away on Friday night it never turned up and they still charge me for the food no answer on the phone after 150 times calling Went to the shop today to find it was closed. ????? Very poor

Had the Twisted Hawaiian pizza and a raspberry milkshake, both were fantastic, really tasty. Delivery driver was very pleasant and friendly. Will definitely make this place number one for pizza orders from now on

Pizza arrived hot and fast but not the chicken wings pizza was tasteless no taste at all called branch as was really disappointed and spent 35£ was told the pepperoni was beef! This does not mention on the website atall only the ham etc I don’t eat beef so has made me feel really sick was told I will get a refund but I am still waiting such a shame …

Collected a couple of pizzas from this place recently. Pretty standard pizzas but they made it quickly and reasonabley price.

Pizza was like cardboard and the service poor.

Best gluten free pizza,tasty full of flavour and plenty of toppings,it's nice that this company can give you selection, instead of the typical cheese and tomato other companies offer when you're Gluten free⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Do not place orders via justeat. The pizza arrived 2 hours late stone cold. Staff are extremely rude. It's quicker buying a frozen pizza from Aldi and cooking it yourself.

This pizza shop is so bad I am a Uber driver and today I got kicked out because every time I go there they waist my time it takes to make a pizza 10 min. Every time I go they take so long never been a time where I go in and the pizza is ready. Today I went in the shop to get a order from Uber and the manager said 5 min is not ready I said you are waisting my time and he started shouting at me calling me bad words and I told him I will pick up the order and won’t come back but he said get out of my shop more bad word and I refused so he said I will call the police if you don’t get out so I got out. The pizza is really bad too. Thank you

Ordered a pizza last night. Order accepted. over 2 hours later and still no delivery. Tried ringing for several hours either no answer or they cut it off

Waited nearly 2 hours no response. No one picked up. Had to cancel ordered. I Won’t be a returning customer May any future customers be warned.

This place ain’t worth a rub i waited well over an hour for my pizza to arrive and when it came it was stone cold! I rang fireway and all they done was blame Ubereats drivers!! my order was sitting in the shop for at least 25 mins before a driver got to it. They didn’t think about cooking me a fresh one .. they just sent the driver of with a freezing cold pizza

Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes, no pizza arrived, rang selsdon fire away, they blamed the machine that they didn't get order through from deliveroo, had to wait another 50 minutes, still no pizza, will never use them again.

( Fireaway Selsdon south Croydon ) is not just any pizza place u will be ordering from on the weekdays or weekends it is just something else there fresh pizza dough style dough thin crust Italian style dough is daily made on premises I know this as I have tried there pizzas quite frequently and each time it had been the same quality golden crust there pizza sauce is so sweet tangy fresh herby yum there toppings are very tasty and very delicious all there toppings are made fresh aswell daily in all of selsdon south Croydon and out of all the 99 branches of Fireaway I have eaten from this one is the best in price quality and quantity & service and during these hard pandemic covid 19 times they have provided us with plenty of fast delivery there open everyday till late great service we appreciate your hard work allways thank you 5 stars all around ************ 🙂

Good service, clean environment, simple and easy choices but the actual pizza isn't the best you'd have ever had.

Good but the staff need to be a little more fluent with the till as they tried to charge me without mentioning the price which I'm glad I asked as i was being over charged witch would have gone unnoticed but food was good and nicely made

Waited two hours to get my order because their website malfunctioned. Add insult, the pizzas were flavourless and came with an awful sauce claiming to be related to garlic and herb. Never again

Got this for my first time on Friday around 10pm, it looked great, smelt great but unfortunately fell way off what I expected. Dough was over cooked, crust was dry!

A large amount of oil and a very tasteless pizza. The delivery was quick (25 minutes), nicely packaged, great delivery guy but... The garlic bread had absolutely no garlic taste, and the pizza was incredibly greasy (see photo) and tasteless. I guess you look for the cheapest raw material without taking care of the quality. And this is the most important in food. The canoli puddings were way better.

Stumbled across this place while visiting a friend. Pizza was very nice and fresh. The staff were also very polite and accomodating. All the best!

Friendly, helpful and obliging staff. Pizzas are defined by the read base, the quality and type of cheese, and the freshness of the toppings. Fireway's base is outstanding as authentic as they come. The cheese is excellent too, though they also offer cheddar. Not authentic, but a nice option. The toppings are fresh. My only criticism is that there are many traditional Italian toppings not available, very noticeable are the cured hams, faggioli (beans), and such. All very reasonably priced.

We ordered there for the second time this weeks! Their pizzas are delicious and so are their milkshakes! Definitely avoid Just Eat as they do really good deals directly on their website.

Amazing pizza, better than big chains and not as greasy. Plenty of filling especially in calzone. Yummy milkshakes too. Highly recommend
