Fireaway Pizza Selsdon in Croydon

I paid extra for buffalo to be put on my pizza. It wasn't there. What I ordered was a BBQ Pizza. I did not get a BBQ pizza. What I got had the regular tomato sauce. The pizza was too greasy so all the toppings fell off when you tried to pick it up. And the sweetcorn tasted like it was gone off. I want a refund.

Really good quality food. Delicious pizza and wasn't expecting the wedges to be made fresh in store. Not what I was expecting but miles better than the remade stuff!

Food was cold and pizza wasn’t cooked properly

worst pizza I can honestly say I've eaten in my life. hardy any tomatoe base. no cheese. went in the bin.

Pizza was thrown together and squashed in the box, burnt, pizza was very thin and the dough wasn’t very tasteful

Potato wedges were amazing, best I've had anywhere in a long time, pizzas were great, with the 40% off deal in place it made a great meal for the family at a great price

Old food. They change orders how they won’t without asking. They send old , burned and dry food so all good going for rubbish

Said latest delivey was 7.55pm. They marked it as delivered so i requested a text update which I did not get. Called at 8.15 to ask flr an update they didnt say sorry, just your foods here its going now. Its a 15 minute drive. It arrived 35 minutes l

Decent when you get 40 percent off but I wouldn’t bother other wise

Stay away from this restaurant! I made an order through uber but nobody has come. They took money from my account. When I tried to contact the restaurant they claimed that they never received any orders when I said I have the receipt as a proof the girl answered me in a rude way. Stay away!!!

Pizzas, standard. Dessert pizza. We ordered one with banana and strawberry and arrived with none!! Cold and like cardboard. Couldnt eat either of them!

DELIVERY 2 for one on pizza delivery via Uber,,, ONE pizza turns up and the wrong ice cream... called the store only to be told that I ordered one pizza .. yes because it says two for one ! no !! one is one ,........ what ?????? are you actually making fun of me ??? OK moving on then you sent the wrong ice cream - "because we are out of stock of the one you ordered." they then claimed to have called me to let let me know which is not true, Disgraceful after sales service, Scammers and chancers ... beware ! Refused to send the second free pizza and said that they would refund the ice cream .... well obviously not as fast as they took payment for goods that they knew that they didn;t have .....

Took ages and was cold and Nutella pizza was horrible

Delivery time was ok, but driver droped 2 milkshakes on carpet by my front door. Not happy about that had spend like 25 min to clean this and driver left in the meantime when i was getting cleaning stuff. Now im left with cold food as well.

Came in just to ask for a milkshake actually. Not a busy time at all. Super lax and no urgency. Grabbing fistfuls of ingredients and just throws it in. No washed hands, no gloves after handling a bunch of other equipment and with hands that already clearly have cuts and plasters. Milkshake was below average too (size and taste) for the price

30 mins after ordering my order was cancelled. Wasted my time

Food wise it's tasty but staff does not comply with food hygiene. Saw staff handle cash and straight away handle food preparation without washing hands. This is the reason for a 1 star review. Staff should be trained in food hygiene

I rang the restaurant it was ordered from to be told it had been sent to another restaurant. An hour later neither is acknowledging where the order is coming from and refusing a refund, I understand it’s a Friday night but the lack of communication is disappointing.

Some of the nicest staff I’ve ever come across at a pizza place. On top of that pizza was quality. Great all round

Nice fresh pizza, however not very generous with toppings.

Was lovely only I didn’t get the correct desert. Asked for the white chocolate space rocks and got the tartufo limoncello

2nd time ordering, 1st order was good, 2nd cold wings and pizza, 12 pieces of ham and pineapple on the pizza, spot the topping, not great at all, Calzone stuffed but cold also, shame as first order was good

Don't bother ordering for delivery. I've ordered a few times from here and each time it's been really slow. Tonight, I ordered at 1940 and got an email saying that it left at 2010. Its been 50 minutes since that email and nothing has arrived. No doubt that if it does arrive in the next few minutes, it will be cold since it's been in transit for 50+ minutes.

We have just spent £40 on 3 pizzas and 2 sides. Our delivery was due at 7.20 and arrived at 7.45 stone cold. We called and spoke to the female 'manager' who argued with us and refused to do anything unless we returned our order then wait another hour for a new order to be delivered! 6 months ago service was so much better here. I would advise you to spend your money elsewhere- Fireaway Selsdon has definately lost at least one customer this evening.

I had a groupon voucher which at face value seemed a good deal. Upon arrival there were 2 female assistants to whom I presented my barcode . The food preparers appeared chaotic and looked as tho they didn’t want to be there. They had no napkins or cutlery and I had a holoumi salad and cannelloni desserts. Also the order took in the region of 30 minutes which compared to domino’s a competitor is far too long. Although the food was good the preparation was far to slow and the lack of utensils I downgrade the experience to a 3 star

So I’ve been going here for a while. The chap who used to run it was great! But tonight we popped in to order the chicken strips and halloumi but there was no halloumi in stock. This was fine so we chose a pizza instead. We ordered and the lady said 10-15 mins. Not a problem…. Until everyone else was getting served and then the 30 min mark went past so I just asked kindly. The reply was “it’ll be ten mins!”. So we waited even longer and I felt more and more sorry for the poor chap at the counter who had waited ten mins for the order just to be taken!! The pizza arrived first but then waited another five for the chicken strips. Finally we received the whole order together and thought we may sneak a bite of the chicken on our way to the car… and lo and behold the chicken came straight back up!! We thought ohwell must be a glitch etc… so we tried the pizza…. Holy moly what a waste of £20-£30 it all was! That went into the nearest bin! Absolutely shocking! I can guarantee I won’t hear nothing back as it’s all a “Franchise”! No where to complain other than on here so please everyone be very hesitant!

It is not the same burger place it was just a couple of years back, the quality of everything dropped not to mention a lot more new burger places in Croydon since. My last order the burgers were tough and chips aren’t as good as they used to. It isn’t even average now.

It was ok ish - but with respect a pizza from Lidl or Sainsbury’s taste much better, pizza was cold, toppings were mean and it was a bit rubbery. Chicken strips tasted ok but were also cold and a bit soggy. Sorry but I don’t think I’ll buy again.

Those chilli and honey chicken strips were AMAZING. The Teddy pizza was a decent amount for my niece!

My pizza was cold and not a lot of chicken on the pizza

Cold, driver dropped both our sides on drive, ordered calzone and was no filling just tough cheese and some undercooked pepperoni

Food came cold and was really burnt

After reading many positive reviews I ordered from here. Slightly disappointed as a fan of traditional thin crust Italian pizzas. It was more rubbery than crispy. The cheese and toppings were scarce, and it was just ok. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t brilliant either. Still on the hunt for the perfect pizza company in Croydon. I can’t fault the delivery time or the food temperature. The Builders Arms pub serves far nicer fresher tasting pizzas or even outdoor pizza stalls you would find at an event or festival would be preferable.

Everything was spot on! The bbq chicken strips were really tasty, I was about to order from kfc but thought I'd give this a try, stands out by miles, pizza was also yum, milkshake and dessert perfection. My order didn't take long to arrive either and was hot, nothing to complain about as I'm well and truly stuffed now! Haha thanks

This was my first time having a Fireway pizza, and I am now converted. The pizza was perfect and you must try their strips with the Chilli Honey coating, perfect.

Pizza tasted meh. Its supposed to be made quick but the person working thr counter was very slow and wouldn't do it even though there were no customers. The place is spacious and clean and the staff is friendly but wouldn't go again.

Waited an hour for delivery, then got a notification that delivery was cancelled. Don't have time to order anything else for lunch now!

Ordered a take away on Friday night it never turned up and they still charge me for the food no answer on the phone after 150 times calling Went to the shop today to find it was closed. ????? Very poor

Had the Twisted Hawaiian pizza and a raspberry milkshake, both were fantastic, really tasty. Delivery driver was very pleasant and friendly. Will definitely make this place number one for pizza orders from now on

Pizza arrived hot and fast but not the chicken wings pizza was tasteless no taste at all called branch as was really disappointed and spent 35£ was told the pepperoni was beef! This does not mention on the website atall only the ham etc I don’t eat beef so has made me feel really sick was told I will get a refund but I am still waiting such a shame …

Collected a couple of pizzas from this place recently. Pretty standard pizzas but they made it quickly and reasonabley price.
