Fireaway Designer Pizza - East Kilbride in South Lanarkshire

Arrived late. I ordered garlic bread however received a meat pizza instead (I am a vegetarian) will never order from here again terrible food and service!

Order never arrived and can’t get through to them to find out what has happened. Ridiculous

Had to call to check on delivery, 30 minutes after estimated delivery despite being ordered more than 1 hour in advance. Pizza and chicken strips were both cold and had to be reheated. Very disappointing for the cost.

Calzone was burnt and tasteless

Waited over 2 hours on our pizzas (received an email about an hour after ordering to say the food had been dispatched but after waiting another hour for it to arrive, we had to call to see where the food was). Pizzas were pretty bland, toppings slid off as too much sauce. Paid extra for mushrooms which weren't on the pizza and the wedges were boiled and then covered in oil so almost impossible to pick up and eat as they were slidey and due to being boiled, the skin just fell off. Really disappointed considering 2 pizzas and some wedges delivered was £36. Would have preferred a frozen pizza

Pepperoni pizza, parmesan potato wedges, garlic dip. STUNNING. Without a doubt the best pizza in EK, no question. Class.

Did not deliver my order, phoned up about it and they hung up on me.

Lovely fresh pizza. rather expensive however you get proper meat portions on it and it's all fresh and tasty. chicken wings juicy and tasty too.

great food but order directly from website much cheaper unless there is a deal on just eat.

App updated saying was out for delivery and the restaurant is 1 street away. 20 mins later and I call them to be told it’s just left. And then app updates saying delivered when on phone. Text just eat through messaging saying no delivery and replied with delivered. Still no delivery. A further 15 mins later driver arrived cold pizza cold chicken and melted ice cream saying it’s nothing to do with him

driver must of carried my pizza on its side, it was all mushed up n stuck together to one side of the box, wasn't very warm either. chicken wings were soggy drumsticks with barely any meat on them 🤷‍♀️2nd chance...won't be ordering again

Pizza was undercooked, soggy and lacked flavour. Cannoli were fine though.

great pizza as always. the cannoli were left behind by mistake but they ran back and delivered them in 20 mins, can't fault them.

Partner got pepperoni&sausage pizza it was really good plenty of toppings.My margarita pizza was cooked great but mainly sauce really needed more cheese but still very tasty. Garlic bread was lovey &fries ! Its expensive so wil order when promo on x

Loads to choose from and really nice staff

PIzza was soggy and under cooked in the Middle. One of the Potato wedges was inedible as it had a Black charcoal crust. Chicken wings were Good.

Arrived early , piping hot and soo tasty!!

Soggy, wet, floppy, limp pizza. Ordered a Roman. Entire topping slid off every slice. Cheese conjealed into coagulated lumps. Tasteless too - tomato sauce base looked like cheap unseasoned soup.Wings were incredible though. That's the only reason I'm giving 2 star instead of one. Makes me angry that these places specialising in pizza, can't do even a decent pie. The dough for the base is that generic chewy tasteless type that would get slaughtered in NY. It's all show no go for this place. They've spent all the money on looking good but not on their leading product tasting good. Atrocious.

Pizza wasn’t great, over cooked and not the usual fire away

My order didn’t even arrive and was stolen by the delivery driver. The delivery person was not clever in this as I live at the very bottom of a cul-de-sac. I saw the car come down, the app being updated as delivered and then the same car driving away.. with my pizza. When I called the restaurant they told me it could’ve been left outside.. in the pouring rain? Why would anyone think to do that? The restaurant also told me it was still on its way, it’s not, the driver is enjoying my meal.

Ordered online on their website. Order was supposed to take about 15 minutes as said on website. Went in to collect, no one said anything just looked at me until one decided to ask if he could help. Told my order would be 5 minutes. Waited more than 5. Saw the pizzas weren’t even ready to go in. All in all I stood waiting for about 20 minutes in the shop for my pizzas. Came home and all the toppings slid off all pizzas. Utter shambles. Clearly online orders aren’t a priority.

Pizzas lukewarm and cheese congealed. Missing drinks once again. This used to be our go to place for pizza but it’s really substandard now so will not be ordering from here again

Absolutely fabulous pizzas - so was the cannolis - driver was great!

Tip - don’t put the dips in with the pizza (helps maintain heat). Other than that, delicious 🔥

calzone was uncooked and full of cold meat, wings were soggy which means they were probably frozen and then microwaved, same goes for the chicken strips, wont be ordering from here again, quality is terrible wish i could get my money back.

Yummy Yummy! Love when the pizza is cooked but still soft. The cannolis were so tasty ! Dangerous having a lovely place relatively close by when you are supposed to be being good lol !! thank you

If you’re looking for a mediocre (at best) pizza then look no further. Fire yourselfs away to Aldi n get is a frozen one cos that’s what it may as well be😵‍💫 ma pal just said the pepperoni looks fake! Hes no happy. The wings tasted like something out a cartoon. Absolutely not happy with this gyro scran. Wouldn’t feed this to the dug if it was oan its last legs. Tom and Jerry level good ma pal just said he’ll be oan the pan fur days. #hoachin. Ma other pal just said it’s garlic dip is solid (not in a good way). Ma other other pal just said the cheese looks like a scab. My pal (aforementioned) just said yous will think this is a bam up but I can assure you it’s a bam up but I can assure you it’s not. The group has informed me that the wings are akin to Morrisons own. (Picture attached is of the scab or ‘mozzarella’

As regular customers of Fireaway Pizzas (using Clarkston before the EK branch), we have been fans of these pizza with their wide range of bases and fresh ingredients. However that all fell apart on Saturday 25/05/2025. 3 pizzas. Ordered on their site (which has lower prices than Just Eat (not sure thats contractually allowed?)). Child’s burnt, partners cold and drink missing. Phoned for drink. They were evasive and unhelpful, pretending not to able find the order. Eventually agreed to send it out. Still Waiting. Robbing customers must be on their list of profit margins. Standards are dropping. Considering avoiding now.

First time we have ordered from Fireaway in about a year and we were happy to see it is still as good as ever. All 3 pizzas were banging, chicken strips lovely and delivered early too which was a nice bonus. We won't wait so long next time.

Didn't arrive! Gripe is with Just Eat rather than Fireaway as their food is good. Need Just Eat to actually deliver it...

First time ordering from here and did a 14 item make your own which included double pineapple and double anchovies. It arrived 5 minutes early piping hot and smothered perfectly in everything I asked for. A great tasting Neapolitan pizza which had a crisp enough base to hold the fold given how much was on it! Both the garlic herb mayo/dip and the sweet chilli dip where disappeared with my crusts every time. Can see why this place became so popular UK Wide.

Tacos we're excellent, burger was excellent, even the chips were excellent. Loved it

Ordered calzone, honey chilli chicken and margarita pizza. The calzone itself was nice enough, with great big chunks of chicken. However the chicken was cold in the middle. There were also bits of unmelted cheese. So it was essentially one of Boabies pies. Overall it was pretty bland, the tomato sauce is nothing special. The pepperoni had no noticeable flavour. So it was packed full of cold flavourless meat. The Honey chilli chicken was superb. The chicken was perfectly cooked and was packed full of flavour. I would recommend it if you do decide to order. For the pizza my partner added extra cheese, and felt it didn't look like any had been put on. So it wasn't to her liking. I disagree but more cheese could have been added, it seems concentrated to the centre. 30% off the bill negated the high delivery charge, but at around £30 it was the same price as Domino's for a smaller pizza and side. The base of the pizza is far superior to dominos and I didn't feel hungover after eating it. Disappointingly average, but I would order again for the chicken. For a good pizza go to Pessano or Leopardos.

Over a hour and 40 mins late. Pizza cold, missing a can of juice and live less than a mile away. Disappointed after hearing great reviews.

Food is good as always but the time it took to arrive was ridiculous. The restaurant said they were very busy and couldn’t keep up. They shouldn’t have accepted the order or adjusted the estimated time. Very disappointed

All things sorted the day after, person on the phone was very helpful.

Best pizza ever you need to try the chicken strips are the best I’ve ever tasted cause I’m funny south chicken but these were outstanding 😀 if you haven’t tried this place it a must you do xxxxz

I order from fire away quite frequently. The delivery is sometimes 5-10 minutes late but the food is always high quality and fire away is frankly my favourite pizza place! I definitely recommend, they have many options even for dietary restrictions!

Really nice pizza and the chicken tenders were really good too. There was an issue with the buzzer in my flat and missed delivery so they refired the order and it arrived nice and hot. Can't fault the food or the service.

Waste of time. Was over 1 hour late. I had to go to work and had the decency to call them to cancel the delivery. Came home at 2am to find dripping wet box of pizza dumped on my doorstep in the pouring rain.

A bad experience from start to finish. The order took about 1 hour and 30 mins despite order time quoted as 20 mins. We only ordered due to the short delivery time as was close to kids' bedtime. Had to ring twice for an update. The food arrived and the delivery driver only gave me 2 of the 3 items ordered. Ran out after him and he handed me an opened packet of chicken wings! 4 instead of 6! After reaching inside his delivery bag he found an extra 2 that had fallen out and offered me them...after politely refusing(!) I called the shop expecting an instant apology and some kind of refund. Spoke to the same person as I had spoken to each time before who said 'give me 5 mins to investigate and I'll ring you back straight away'. We then ate our very average and lukewarm food (we didn't finish either of the 2 pizzas - 1 kids and 1 adult pizza among 1 adult and 2 kids). About 1.5 hr later I decided to call back and thought the least they could offer would be a refund of the opened chicken wings. Was a different staff member who knew nothing of what had happened. After explaining to him the situation, he initially said 'yeah, we've been busy' as if that makes it acceptable. I told him that wasn't an excuse so he said his mananger would call and tried to end the call before I asked 'what number do you have for for me?' and then realised that they didn't have a number for me! So I left my number and more than 24 hours later haven't received a call. A bad experience at every step of the journey...

you can't buy happiness, but you can buy pizza and that's kind of the same thing. greatest pizza i've ever had. kinda hooked. 10/10 - ign, would order again
