A hidden gem, great choice of snacks and more, a quiet and clean little place just outside of Marylebone station. Service was very good, staff polite and didn’t have to wait long. Food was perfectly done and felt i could easily try many of the choices, so definitely drawn to go back again.

I needed to wait for an hour for my train from Marylebone station and found this hidden gem. A small café offering so many tasty delights from Indian street food to many of the usual cafe style products. After having a latte and a blueberry muffin I settled down to my book, made some calls and charged my phone. It was then time for a scrumptious lunch of egg curry parathas and chai. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly and allowed me to sit there for a while. What an amazing find- much better than the station cafes!

I hope I had more days to enjoy their incredible food! also, they are so welcoming! Just entering the cafe they offered me a sample of their exquisite chai latte ❤️ I ate some chips, and a lunch menu for just 7 pounds aprox, everything was very tasty an elegantly served. Please open a branch in Belfast!!! 💛

I was searching for somewhere to just sit still for a moment and everywhere was so busy and loud until I found this little calm haven! I love that it is the only one currently in London, and I love the story too - the cafe was named after its founder Rafih Filli who enjoyed the company of his friends.

I'd heard about the Filli outlets in the Gulf region but didn't know of the existence of any in the UK. My prayers were answered (literally) when some weeks ago I got to sample some tea being given as freebies outside the central mosque: I was bowled over immediately. A few days ago I took my daughter to Filli just before we went to watch a stage play. We weren't disappointed. We ordered a beef burger and a kati roll. Excellent authentic taste unlike any we had tasted so far. The tea was so outstanding that we ordered seconds. The young lady serving us was very pleasant and helpful: in fact she suggested a combo that helped us save some money. Thank you, lady. There were a few negative observations: 1.The seats are rather tall and uncomfortable, almost designed to make customers to not get too comfortable and leave quickly; like it's meant more as a take away. Also, anyone who is short or has arthritis may find it uncomfortable to savour the wonderful tea and snacks available 2. There is only one unisex toilet (no problem with that considering how much rentals cost in that area) but I do see a problem when the little space next to the toilet is possibly a utility room and there were 2 male staff standing and chatting there at a time when a female visited the loo. Not very ideal for health and safety issues; also the door handle to the toilet was slightly loose. Otherwise, an excellent place for heavenly tea and snacks especially if one is rushing to a play or movie. I know where I will go for a caffeine fix even when not going to see a play/movie!!

I ended up here accidentally and just ordered what the woman in front of me ordered. Surpasses every other chai I have ever tried! Phenomenal taste

Being living in UAE for more than 5 years and seeing Fili cafe near Trafalgar Square was such a delight. The fili tea is missed anywhere and is one of the primetime when in UAE. Went along with family cousins over there and they loved the tea and snacks as well. Only thing missing was the Vada Pao - may be London crowd menu did not had the offering for the same. But, it was a treat to see Fili in the heart of London. Not to be missed when around - the best tea in the world - Zaafran Tea.

But its called Almost Firangi because they do a fusion of other cuisines as well including Chinese dishes. I had a lovely fish curry for first and for afters an Indian ice cream lolly on a stick with another dish with a name I can't pronounce! Love it! Probably visit again!

Wow, I love Indian food but this was simply beautiful food. Really nice decor restaurant, understated and laid back. Front of house attentive, friendly and helpful with great service. The food is delicious. Lamb biryani was beautiful big chunks of fall apart lamb and really nice flavoursome rice. The vegetarian kebab was beautiful, the dahi kekab was stunning, didn’t look massive but filled us up. Honestly great. Thanks Tripadvisor you didn’t let me down again !

Order take aways here each week and they are consistently good and service to match. Have not eaten inside but would do so.

Upscale restaurant with a Michelin star described as “modern Indian”. Food is expertly and delicately spiced. Every dish is exceptional, from mains to dall, naan and rice. Every dish is taken to another level.
