Amazing we didn’t have a reservation and were lucky to be seated, in fact people were turned away after we sat down. The food was sublime, highly recommend the trio of pork and the sticky toffee pudding is easily one of the best we have EVER eaten anywhere. All the staff were attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The complimentary lemoncello was a wonderful treat. Can’t wait until we come back to Looe first job book a table here !!

Having visited looe a lot, we have always wanted to eat here but for various reasons (young kids/covid) could never get a reservation. Booked a good few months in advance so was disappointed to get a text the night before asking if they could move our reservation back to 8pm, which was too late for us. The said they could do 6:15 instead which we accepted as we wanted to eat there but would have preferred the original time of 7:15. Ordered starters - the prawns, pate and scallops. The pate was lovely, the prawns were really small supermarket style prawns - thought they would be king prawns or shell on - although to be fair it did not say that on the menu - and the scallops were cold. My mum then had the scallops as a main and her tomatoes on the plate were cold but scallops warm so maybe that’s how the dish is done but I would have preferred them warm. For mains we had the pork - very nice, a steak - very over priced for what it was but the sauce was lovely and a burger. The whole meal with a bottle of Prosecco and a glass of wine and a couple of other beers came to £220 which is very expensive for what it was, considering we ate somewhere else just as nice and it was £180 for 8 of us to eat. The staff were nice and attentive but I don’t think I would go back, just felt it was a bit too expensive for the quality of food.

It was perfect. The staff were warm and attentive. A wonderful experience. The food was wholesome and soulful. The rum and raison cheesecake is not to be missed. How food should be cooked, a true gem !

Obs! Måste bokas i förväg

Lovely experience in this cafe - friendly staff, beautiful views and delicious cake. Well placed at the end of the coastal path too.

Just had The Drake and the Mrs Perryman. Both came with plenty of chips, the actual duck dishes were outstanding, really nice. We will be returning to try another dish when we return next year. We were lucky to have crispy skin as well. We spotted the sign for the duck Truck while we were driving to our cottage in Tintagel and decided to give it a go during our stay. We were not disappointed. Top local produce, by the farmer. Keep up the good work, we'll be back
