Nice but did not realise how far away you were so food was not very hot when it arrived

food arrived cold and the battered sausage has hardly any batter on and was very greasy left my lips feeling like I had lip gloss on. Will never order from here again.

Took about a hour to finish making. Came cold and stale. Chicken nuggets barely looked cooked. Gravy tasted horrible.

Well I have to give festival fish shop 5 stars, they delivered 30 portions of fish and chips at no extra cost, the fish and chips where fabulous piping hot and freshly made and everyone of the 30 people who had they said “what lovely fish and chips.”

I recently visited Festival Fisheries and was absolutely impressed! The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, making me feel welcome the moment I walked in. The area around the shop is clean and quiet, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. It's rare to find such a lovely combination of excellent service and a peaceful atmosphere at a takeaway. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend Festival Fisheries to anyone looking for a great meal and warm hospitality!

Popped in for tea. The chips were thick chunky and fried to perfection. Fish was massive, burgers and nuggets were all eaten by the kids which is rare. Would definitely recommend 👌

The first chip I bit into was hard, uncooked and frankly, disgusting. They appeared old, like 3 times cooked and treated like they'd been cooked in old oil. I couldn't work the fish out, it was barely battered, it was like it had a film of soggy, uncooked, floppy coating that resembled a tempura mix? Not a fish shop fish at all.. Even the gravy tasted strange, the whole meal for the two of us went in the bin. What a waste of a lunch break. very disappointed and can't even contact to discuss!

Food was very good, ordered a fish butty and a chicken fillet wrap for my girlfriend, she loved her wrap despite being a very picky eater and my fish butty was also great. I used to be a fryer and haven’t had a good fish since I was, so I was very pleased. Very clean also. Two improvements I could suggest is getting yourself a server to speed things up because the fella looked a little overrun on his own, my other step for improvement would be investing and a potato tumbler and a potato chipper instead of from frozen chips. Still very delighted nonetheless

Just been taken over by new owner I went in yesterday as my usual favourite fish shop was closed I might have a new favourite now The chips were gorgeous perfectly brown, crisp outside and soft inside Fish batter was light and fish was really good quality Curry sauce was gorgeous My husband said the mushy peas were not good though (so only 1 fault that doesn't concern me because I don't like peas) The new owner was really lovely and reduced my purchase as it was my first time We always think there is too many chips and share a portion They do a Fish and a few chips option GENIUS

You asked for an honest review in the shop. the sausage was ok, chips were cooked, tasted a bit weird maybe old fat used. The batter could be better as was very bland

The chip shop has recently been taken over by 2 new people. They are just starting up however the food was perfectly cooked the batter is crispy light and not greasy like so many other places. They are both so friendly and you can see their passion for their new bussiness adventure together. It sounds like they have some really good ideas for in the future and im sure this place is going to become a popular fish and chip shop in the local area 10 out of 10 well done guys

Ordered online took ages and cold when arrived....the portion size is tiny, kids size and that was large fish and chips. 26 quid paid and that was with 10 percent off. Not worth it never again

So, the previous owners were amazing made great fish and chips. This guy is a lovely lovely man. But everything takes an age. It doesn't quite have the "fish and chips" taste or aroma. I mean it's OK. But not amazing. It's definitely not one to visit if you're in a rush. He prides himself on made fresh whilst you wait. Which I suppose sometimes would be ok. But if you just want a cone of chips or a butty 15-20 minutes is too long.

Went in and bought from here a few times supporting my local. Thus time I'm particular the owner has gone and tried adding more cash on my purchase than it was displayed on the menu etc tried to tell him and he waffled to try charge more. Probably regretting having such cheap food or obviously struggling, i couldnt be bothered arguing and just paid the extra 1.10 and let him take the pocket change. I'll be voting with my money and never going again as you should too

In Shipley, phoning around trying to find a fish and chip shop that’s open after 4pm on a Saturday and fries in veg oil - decided to try Festival Fisheries. The guy who runs it is really friendly and will fry in veg oil or dripping if you prefer. The food was really good, probably the best fish and chips we’ve had for a long while. Fresh, cooked to perfection and still hot after driving home. Will definitely go back.

So where do I start, food luke warm, curry sauce was cold, the fish size is shocking not worth the price think a pound coin is thicker than this fish and the size is small too, to top it off I've ordered sausage and chips safest option for my child, who a fuss eater who's on the spectrum, it states nowhere on the option that it's a batteries sausage, which means my order was wrong with a child now with a melt down left refusing to eat because its not a plain sausage and chips like I ordered, yes I could pull the it off but then you pulling half the sausage skin off and he still refuse to eat it. I used to love fish and chips here, this has put me off, what a shame... cold food wrong order fish portion

chips were excellent, fish itself was nice and liked curry sauce. wasn't too fond on the batter( type of oil maybe?) but overall would order again.

Found this place while working in the area... food was freshly cooked to order so took a few minutes but worth it. Fish was tasty with good crispy batter. Battered sausage was also tasty. Chips were chunky and tasted good. Not shy on the salt and vinegar either.

Received no mushy peas, Fishcake butty with no bread, and fish and chips. Did get an extra small fish, but was delivered over an hour after the original delivery time. Fish were nice, but chips were only luke warm.

I think it was the best fish and chips I have ever had in my life, new management are very helpful and gave me fresh delicious food I would recommend anyone in Bradford to go and try their fresh fish you will never forget the fish from them. Thank you so much
