Fernandez & Wells – 73 Beck Street, London If I lived in London and near this coffee shop, I would be there every day. The food selection was amazing, and so fresh and delicious. Excellent coffee which we doubled up on to help with eating the last crumbs of the chocolate muffin. The sourdough banana bread was also delicious. Limited seating, but tight and cosy. An absolute find in the heart of Soho.

I have visited this small-cosy coffee place for tea and desserts. The 2 slices of cake we had were ok, as they felt very dry and not as tasteful as expected and tea was nice. Friendly staff. Overall it was an ok experience but for the service we received the prices were too high.

I have been to Fernandez and Wells a few times mainly for convenience as it is just around the corner from where I work. At £2.90 I think a cappuccino is quite expensive. When I asked why it was so expensive I was simply told that it wansn't expensive for a speciality coffee. I nearly laughed at the word speciality coffee but I believe there are people who believe the hype. Coming from Italy we have a very simple philosophy about coffee, is either good or it is not. Simple. I'm not putting it down as I believe the coffee there is pretty good but still expensive nevertheless. The food and cash handling done by the same person is something I have seen several times there and I am not too sure if this is even allowed. Handling the food without gloves with the same hands you touch the money should not happen. The service is friendly and most of the people who work there are quite nice.

They have another branch on Denmark street which is FAR superior with bigger menu and more choice. Slightly let down with the no coffee machine at this branch etc etc. Not many soft drinks either just lots of wine (which is normally lovely, just not at mid day)

Around the corner from the Lexington Street branch of Fernandez and Wells (which serves wine and food), this small cafe is very charming. The natural light -- the back wall has a wndow opening onto a little courtyard -- makes it feel airy and fresh. There is no pressure to move on (I needed to fill in some time) and the staff are sweet. Coffee is good and they offer freshly squeezed juice and breakfastish things to eat -- it opens at 7.30 am on weekdays. There is a teeny tiny but perfectly clean lavatory in the courtyard.

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

Caja de almuerzo muy saludable y abundante. Me tomó mucho tiempo terminar en realidad. . Servicio agradable, no demasiado pretencioso, relajado. ¡recomendado!

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.

Fui a desayunar. Mucho a mucho. Este lugar no es para mi. Buen café sin embargo.
