Delicious, varied menu and a great venue for a private party (or double 30th, in the case of this party). Lots of courses, each one yummier than the last and Ferdie was a relaxed and lovely host. Thank you!

Esta es mi tercera visita a Ferdies Comida Lab y la comida ha sido sobresaliente cada vez. Combinaciones de sabores originales y creativos a menudo el plato estoy más indeciso sobre en el menú, se convierte en mi favorita de la noche! El hecho de que es BYOB es un gran punto de venta, ya que te permite disfrutar de unas cuantas botellas de vino manteniendo el coste y el ambiente informal se aseguró de que mi grupo todos tenían una noche fantástica. Realmente entretenida velada con amigos con un menú innovador y gran empresa. Bastante alocada noche una vez que el vino comenzó a flujo. Es te permite traer tu pripia bedida alcohólica, pero hay recomendaciones de emparejamiento. Seis campos! Estarás muy llenos. El personal es encantador, y usted puede ver todo ellos preparando la comida. Una perfecta noche de viernes.

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una comida cocinada por FerdiesFoodLab realmente maravilloso en el proyecto de cocina en Battersea de Londres el pasado fin de semana. Nos sentamos en una mesa de 8 y así llegamos a charlar con otros amantes de mente! Desde el primer curso hasta el sexto (!) Por supuesto, la comida era innovadora, hermoso y pegadizo en sabor. Los dos destacan cursos para mí eran vegetarianos haggis bon bons servidos con un pepino picante y el rib asado relish ojo con sal, tomillo y regaliz roasties y salsa de estragón. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar y volveré algún día!

Fue estupendo encontrar un supper club tan cerca de casa. Así que no es al lado de una estación de metro, pero hay muchos autobuses y taxis su paso hacia arriba y abajo de la carretera principal cerca. Disfrutamos mucho de poder ver la cocina. No capacidad para muchas personas y sólo tiene un inodoro, así que necesitas para administrar su consumo de líquidos. Con comida y cenas fabulosos compañeros estará a tratar.

Yo había estado deseando que este evento durante bastante tiempo tras las recomendaciones entusiastas de amigos. Con base en el laboratorio de alimentos en Londres Battersea, el lugar siempre un lienzo en blanco para organizar la noche Ferdie - y las estaciones de cocina abierta permite de ver los seis campos de estar preparado.El lugar te permite traer tu pripia bedida alcohólica, pero todo el mundo con antelación proporciona Ferdie con vino para cada plato, que nuestro grupo tomó como un desafío y añadido a la anticipación de la noche - especialmente como un par de las sugerencias fueron intencionalmente obscuro. La alegría de la caza!Cuando llegamos el lugar estaba lleno de clientes esperan su primer campo. - Con opciones cuidadosamente elegido para los consumidores de carne y vegetarianos por igual. No era para un equipo cocina pequeña pero eficiente.El éxito de la noche parecía ser el primer cubo - abs con salsa verde - slow costillas de cordero asada, tirado, comprimidos recubiertos, verdaderos asnos y pan rallado (estoy leyendo el menú...).El servicio era genial - el tiempo suficiente entre los campos para digerir y charlar con los otros asistentes - una agradable mezcla de gente.El plato principal de la noche para mí era asado chuletón de ternera con regaliz salada. Una gran pieza de carne, preparados de tallada. Me pareció que la carne había sido perfectamente sazonada antes de agregar la sal facilita regaliz me dieron dos experiencias diferentes, ambos excelentes. En realidad nunca me han gustado de regaliz, pero este funcionaba de maravilla. Que quizás podría haber sido un poco más antes de descansados tallado, pero este es un problemilla.Una noche fantástica en general, y sin duda volveremos para más diversión y comida.Bien hecho. Recomendado.

Mi amigo por su 30 cumpleaños, fue una idea brillante. tuvo lugar en un pequeño lugar en Queens Park y fue muy divertido y algo un poco diferente. Muy personal y a su grupo, su propia música y un gran ambiente. La comida era increíble, muy recomendable.

Alquilé comida laboratorio de Ferdie exclusivamente para mi 30° y resultó ser una de las mejores noches! La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, el personal era encantador y nos dejó el lugar hasta las primeras horas de la mañana, ya que mi amigo DJ'Ing, así que después de cenar todos bailaron toda la noche. 10 de 10 : -)

We would like to give Ferdie five out of five had we been given the opportunity, but unfortunately he turned out to be a huge disappointment. We had a large party (16 people) booked for a very special dinner and having paid our deposits we could not get hold of Simon Fernandez for confirmation! He ignored calls, emails and texts and a mere three days before the dinner was due to take place he eventually called back (after a very desperate text message) to say that the venue had been double booked and he was cancelling our booking! He seemed totally disinterested in our plight and demonstrated a complete lack of any sense of responsibility. Simon Fernandez may well be a great chef but does not demonstrate the same flare for business by showing a total lack of disregard for his clients.So if you are ever considering Ferdie's food lab for anything other than a casual dinner, think again!

I went in mid-February to Ferdie's Foodlab and it was a huge amount of fun! Great atmosphere, amazing wine suggestions and incredible food. It was nice to have a chat and a drink at the end as well, with no pressure of having to leave straight away. I met some lovely people that evening and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone whose thinking about giving it a go!

I found Ferdie’s Food Lab when looking for popup venue’s to host my birthday in 2012…ever since then, I’ve held my birthday there and genuinely can’t think of anywhere better to celebrate! I’ve recommended friends and family and it’s a huge hit every time! I honestly can’t fault it, from the champagne reception upon arrival, to the beautifully thought out tasting menu which amounts to an incredible selection of flavours and ingredients – petit fours and all, the attention to details is second to none. It’s BYOB so you don’t have to worry of running up an extortionate drinks tab! Simon himself is an absolute darling, very personable and really makes an effort to make you and your guests feel well looked after. You’re able to bring your own iPod, so if you fancy a bit of dancing between courses, the floor is all yours! I truly can’t sing FFL’s praises enough, whether you are looking for somewhere exciting to eat or the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion where your night can be filled with fabulous food, drinks and friend…Ferdie’s Food Lab is an absolute winner every time.

I invited 17 of my good friends to celebrate my 40th birthday this past January at Ferdies Foodlab.Simon Fernandez (Ferdie) created such a beautiful and delicious feast ....it was wonderful and all of us loved it!! Not only is Simon so talented, he was such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole planning process, as well as on the night of the event itself! The food was so well executed, abundant and richly delicious - I must admit it - I was full for days and it took me a little bit longer to recover from such a bacchanalian feast!I am now a bonafide fan of Ferdies Foodlab.Looking forward to the next one!

Our turn to find a venue for our bi-monthly friends dining club resulted in us booking Ferdiesfoodlab. None of us had been there before and none of us had tried the supper club experience. We were not disappointed. What a great evening we had.Only 17 diners so it was quite cosy. Started with a glass or two of bubbly then ushered into to dining hall by Simon (Ferdie) the chef. A seating plan had the guests seated in their respective groups around the banquet table where could see the menu of 6 courses for the first time.Bring your own booze was order of the day. A wine matching list was provided in advance if you really want to take it that seriously. A big ice filled wine cooler was supplied to chill the white. Ferdie also asked in advance for music suggestions.Turkish bread with olive oil and balsamic, a great, flavoursome gazpacho, ceviche with edame bean salad, tasty Morcilla croquettes with poached egg, delicious slow roasted lamb with great crunchy roasties and amazing carrots, Eton messier and petit fours.Lovely!Decent breaks between courses allowed us to mingle with other guests, great to meet such a wonderful bunch of people from Germany, Sierra Leone and Canada

Had an amazing night after planning it for a suprise birthday treat for my other half, didn't know what to expect but we were in for a treat. Arrived at the beautiful old town hall and were greeted by a complimentary glass of wine on arrival and straight away our BYOB were taken care of and chilled in prep for our meal! Then we were lead through to a candlelit banquet table where the feast began. There were 5 courses kicking off with the most amazing terrine with smoked apple gel I want this recipe and finishing on what was described as 'rack&black' seared rack of lamb and Spanish morcilla quenelles(Spanish black pudding) with a tasty roasemary butternut squash puree. Great that they also suggested wine pairings for the meal.A really enjoyable night would recommend to anyone, enjoyed as a couple an think it'd be good as a group too.

Ever since I spent an evening at Ferdie's Foodlab I've been raving about it to anyone who will listen. Genuinely one of the most interesting, off-beat (but in a REALLY good way) evenings I've had for ages. The food was delicious. Actually, delicious doesn't do it justice. It was absolutely superb. I felt like I'd stumbled across a funky delicious little gem. Booze, scrummy food and fabulous conversation flowed til the early hours. I can't wait til my next visit. Ps Ferdie does these amazing carrots. I don't know what he did to them, but they were fantastic. You should go, if only for the carrots.
