We had a lovely evening - meal delicious, grandsons loved it as did their 80 year old papa! Service was perfect - delightful young waitress and the ‘meat servers’ were charming too!

It was a truly excellent experience. The variety of meats, their temperature, freshness, seasoning, aroma, and the speed of service—everything was outstanding. I’d like to especially thank Ms. Sara, who served us with great attention to detail. When we made the reservation, we mentioned we’d be coming with our child, and upon arrival, a special plate and cutlery had been prepared for them. Aside from the meats, the buffet also offered a wide selection of fresh and delicious items. The restaurant is close to Princes Street. We paid around £85 per person, including a bottle of wine. I highly recommend it to everyone—it was so satisfying that I still felt full the next morning at breakfast.

Good food. Amazing salad bar with huge variety of interesting options. Some lovely cuts of meat. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Amazing food. Really attentive and friendly staff making for a consistently great meal out. They even read the fact it was a birthday and brought a free birthday dessert for our son which so many other places seem to ignore.

Our experience was good, but be careful when paying the bill, they write a fee for both the service fee and the carbon footprint, but these are actually optional, so you may not pay. You should pay attention to this, fees added without your knowledge are common in this city.

I had the opportunity to have a quick lunch here, ordering the halal wagyu sirloin (for myself, wasn't sharing 🙈). This included cold sides, such as cheeses, pita, marinated deli, (non halal and fish) deli cuts, fruits. I would highly recommend this place for a group - professional or casual. The sirloin was cooked to perfection, and the buffet style cold sides will probably be enough for everyone, even without ordering more hot sides. I had my fair share of wakame, figs, olives, mushrooms, and cheeses. Do book in advance~ The servers are friendly and accommodating even when I cancelled a hot side with all the options available.

Wonderful lunch shared with family - service was excellent and small touches particularly to help the children in the group made all the difference. Decor and ambience made it feel special too. We will be back!

Sara our server was amazing, super personable and made us feel welcomed and well attended to! We always love this place, food and value for money is impeccable. We got the single cut churrasco which after having the full churasco the first time was a great way to have the meats we liked best.

Sensational! All the meats are delicious, the hot dishes wonderful, the buffet grandiose and very varied! The meal was free for our 5 year old son, who enjoyed it! Very reasonable price given the quality of the service, the products and the very nice atmosphere!

Never had a bad experience! Staff are very knowledgeable, tentative without being intrusive and the food is outstanding with lots of choices for everyone. Its not always all about the meat either the market stall salads and sides on offer really make the full experience one to remember!

We had the churasco experience and it was as good as could be for Edinburgh. The service and the atmosphere was 10/10. The food was good and it was plenty of it. I found some parts of meet to be hard to eat and tasteless, as the ribbey, but other parts as the ramp or the picanha to be exceptional. Definitely will visit again

I'm a 53 year old man. Who got given a gift card to eat here . This place was not good it was simply amazing. The best food and eating out experience I've had in my 53 years. Well done, staff and chefs outstanding. Can't wait to digest and return.

First time here and the service was the best I’ve ever had. All the staff were very warm and helpful without being over bearing. Food was amazing. The atmosphere and decor were beautiful. I will 100% be back. And when I mentioned it was for my partners birthday after we had paid the waiter told us to wait and came and gave us a wee cake with a candle which was amazing. Shout out to Edward who was on point for the whole service and was such a lovely guy. Credit to the restaurant.

I’ve been to Fazenda 7/8 times in the past over dinner and lunch time sessions. However this was the very first time I was disappointed. The service was very poor. They didn’t come to the table frequently. The waitress asked quite early on how they were doing and out of politeness I said okay thinking let’s just give it time. I’ve also noted they’ve stopped serving mint lamb for lunch, the broccoli sides and they’ve put their lunch prices up from 27.50 to £39.00 which is really not worth it after yesterday’s visit. We were asked multiple times if we wanted chicken hearts and thighs and they hardly bought out the red meats. I hope they service and menu returns to how it was previously!

Excellent food quality! Be it their meats or their desserts! The salad bar generous! The nicest creme caramel I've ever eaten! Go...hungry because the quantities of the dishes are not for...bite...😉

I was served by a waitress who, upon realizing that we didn't speak English, brought a “passer” named Pedro who promptly helped us and was very polite and kind, an excellent employee!

It was a very nice environment. You can feel that the food you eat has been carefully prepared. Also, it is a high priced place, but you can buy as many sides as you want, so I think it is worth the money.

After 2019 we've been here for the 2nd time. Food, selection, quality and service are still stunning.

A truly amazing foodie experience as we went for the full churrasco experience and then had a never ending supply of picanha, ribeye , sirloin, fillet ,lamb, chicken thighs and pork collar expertly carved from a skewer at the table , add in the exceptional market table where there was olives, cheeses , salads ,antipasto dishes and so much more. The service was fantastic from the young staff who were courteous and professional , its not cheap but its an evening that we will remember for a long time , well recommended

The quality of the meat was amazing, tasty and tender, just perfect. The sides and appetisers were great too. The dessert was a bit disappointment. Wasnt bad but after all this super experience i was expecting a bit better. All together the place is fantastic, the staff is really professional and nice, food is amazing. The music was a bit way too monotonous but its not a club after all.

Fantastic food and service with an amazing halal Brazilian steak buffet experience. Highly recommended, the cinnamon pineapple is mind-blowing.

Went to Fazendas last Friday (04/04/25) and can't speak highly enough of the service we received. Our server Chase was extremely friendly and smily; creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Love this place-Gem of Edinburgh.

Ben our waiter was amaziballs. An absolute delight and could not be happier with how well he looked after us. We didn't book and just walked in, not expecting such a fancy restaurant. We got lucky to have a table for 2 on Saturday night. Great location and view. Staffs are very friendly and done great job. If you like spicy food, try the seafood fried udon, it was so yummy!

What a place wonderful atmosphere great food and experience we opted for the Churasco experience and tbh I had my doubts if would be enough to fill me and my wife up how wrong was I the meat just kept coming and everything was delicious to the point I couldn't eat anymore we had to turn food away we will definitely return here the drinks were superb and I thought the whole evening was excellent value for money if your in Edinburgh you have to try this place.

More about the experience than the food, which was average. Around 60 quid for the experience, which food wise is not worth it. The quality was average. The market bar is your average fair, at 30 quid a head is pricey. They also have the audacity to put 12.5% service charge on the tab. I think, if you want good food - go to a quality restaurant, if you want the experience then here is ok. Overall, decidedly average.

Both the food and the service was fantastic! We had a vegetarian guest with us and they had a great time with the salad bar and hot sides. 10/10 would come again, the only thing I would say is that it’s a bit dark inside but I understand that they’re going for a certain look!

Salad bar was excellent and sides were great. Tuna was overcooked and dry. Service was just plain rude. Overall a massively overpriced restaurant that is surrounded by far better options.

Visited Fazenda for Sunday lunch. Food and staff were good. Unfortunately experience was ruined by the number of unruly children running around and shrieking in the restaurant. We were situated by a walkway and the children were continually darting past. When you’re paying £60pp you don’t expect to feel like you’re in a children’s play centre.

We used to love Fazenda, but after tonight, I’m not sure if I’d go back. The atmosphere was great and the service brilliant, but the food was just okay—it used to be much better. Some of the meat was very chewy, some wasn’t hot enough, and some felt pretty dry. Maybe it was just a one-off bad night, but for the price, I’d expect much higher standards. Unfortunately, it’s not that special anymore.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Fazenda, celebrating our anniversary in the best way possible. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The highlight of the meal was the Wagyu steak—perfectly cooked, rich in flavour, and easily one of the best cuts of meat we’ve ever had. The service was equally outstanding. Our waitress, Chase, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed while adding a warm and welcoming touch to the evening. The whole experience felt special, from the beautifully presented food to the elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. Fazenda is definitely a must-visit for steak lovers and anyone looking for a unique dining experience.

Tasty, beautiful and expensive It so happened that this is the first meat restaurant-rodizio we visited (March 14, 2025). Very pleasant atmosphere and careful service. Unfortunately, it is simply unrealistic to try everything that is offered on the Churasso menu! I would like to highlight separately - lamb fillet in mint sauce, roast beef and steak with garlic (ribeye, but I could be wrong) Several dishes were slightly oversalted, but the beer saved our day)) The snack table is also top notch! I recommend visiting if you have +/- 100 pounds for two (it can be cheaper if you do not take Churasso)

Not a cheap night out, but definitely worth splashing out on for special occasions. The food is top notch and they've got really clear allergen filtering on their online menu, plus the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely go back. They don't fry anything containing gluten in the same fryer as their chips, although the market table is a buffet set up, they're really good with their separation so it is generally easy to avoid cross contamination. They have good gluten free options on their bottomless sides that go with the full experience and most of the meat dishes are gluten free.

Went here on a friend’s recommendation, and we were blown away by the incredible grilled meats! Still thinking about how delicious everything was. ❤️ We ordered a bottle of Malbec and went with the full Churrasco Experience had a fantastic time. The marketplace had a great selection of cold foods, including salads, cheese, and beans. We especially loved the steak, duck, and ham. I’m only sad I didn’t try the grilled pineapple—next time for sure! It was a little loud, but the service was excellent, and the ambiance, with its dimmed lighting, made for a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I had another incredible meal here, and it didn't disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious - the gammon and pineapple were tasty, even if I wish they'd arrived together. The service was spot on, and the atmosphere was just right for a relaxed afternoon I'm back next week in the evening. looking forward to another great meal.

Great grilled meats and great service. I came for meat and meat only, but now my favorite is their grilled pineapple 🍍!! The best and sweetest pineapple l’ve ever had is grilled pineapple! The environment and service mode is nice, grilled meat is served in the dining area. Unlike other BBQ buffet restaurants, the dining area can be very smoky.

Best steak restaurant in Scotland, wouldn’t go anywhere else for a special occasion these days.

An update from my last visit. Still a top notch 5 star experience. The food was outstanding. On top of that, I'd like to give a personal call out to a couple of people who waited on us. Bryan, who kept us appraised of the best meat selections and was wonderfully pleasant to talk to. Helped make us feel very comfortable. Also, Rob who continually ensured out wine glasses we sufficiently topped up throughout the evening. These two, in addition to the outstanding food selection, made the evening for us. We will most certainly be back and cannot recommend Fazenda enough.

The server who took our order was really condescending. For a restaurant that has a sign stating they can deny entry based on your attire, we expected much better service. We left feeling unwelcome. On a positive note, the passador, Carlos, was very friendly.

This is grandpa , I went with two other generations including three and four year old. The food was amazing at all levels but what really made it was the service which was friendly, efficient and really made the day. Kids ate free !!! We will be back pronto !!!!

If I could rate it 6 stars, I would . Unbelievably good customer service . The waiters and waitresses were extremely welcoming and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed . The food was cooked and prepared to perfection . The salad bar offered a wide range of fresh and tasty , delicious food . My children ate for free too. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had . Certainly in Edinburgh , maybe in the world ??!?

I went with my wife on a Friday night without a reservation. The food was excellent and the customer service was out of this world. I will definitely return and I would recommend it to everyone.
