Elegant place. Nice people and young too.

Regularlyvisit. Excellent food, particularly the Syrian turmeric cake, professional yet friendly service, and a great location with views to die for. Highly recommended.

This place is utterly incredible. We had a big group of friends visiting us in Malvern and knew we could trust Faun to impress. Honestly the perfect breakfast/brunch spot. Coffee is excellent as are the pastries (the cherry cheesecake cruffin is worth a visit on its own). The mackerel pate is comfortably the best I've ever tried and a huge portion with divine bread. Staff are lovely and they are welcoming to groups with kids and dogs. Excited to try their wine bar.

2 of us were charged £20 for 2 flat white coffees and two sweet pastries (eat in) The pastries were priced £4.90 so the coffee cost £5 per cup! Are the displayed prices without VAT? Coffee - excellent Pastries - excellent Prices - a shock

What. A. Place! We were only in Malvern 24 hours and visited Faun twice! It’s absolutely perfect. Food is homemade, delicious and beautifully presented. You can taste the love poured into this place in every bite, and every sip. Thank god I don’t live in Malvern or I would be penniless to this plan. It is absolute joy 👏

Loved this place. Stopped here during a walk over the Beacon, Malvern Hills. Great service from all staff with a friendly and welcoming approach. Wished we lived locally, would be here every day.

We’ve been here a few times and always just got takeaway coffees and pastries. Everything is always delicious and they have lots of unusual and unique pastries on offer. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. It’s always very busy for sitting in but the brunch menu looks great. Faun is a highlight in Malvern as are all the shops along that row.

Ordered two coffees, got the wrong ones, went back to remedy this and given the wrong ones again - going back in again to sort would have been too embarassing. The manger/server checked the ticket and had put them through right, but it seems all the staff at the machines were too busy flirting and laughing. Coffee was great, just wrong. Wouldn't return at the asked price either.

Visited on a beautiful sunny April day. Absolutely packed inside and out. Cannot fault the food, very nice sourdough. Matcha latte not really up to scratch. The aspect which lets this establishment down is the service. We had to ask for our drinks order twice, two separate waiting staff. After nearly 50 mins we got them eventually; we had basically finished our food. The staff seem a bit clueless, we watched several waitresses bringing the wrong order to tables and look dazed. Maybe they were all a bit overwhelmed due to how busy it was.

Friendly place to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. I was there as the place opened at 9am and there were plenty of hungry people already there. Great to see their fresh orange is really fresh. The staff were just about perfect

Superb food and service, at reasonable prices, and the Faun is in an ideal location for visitors to the lovely Malvern and locals alike.

Excellent service from the lovely hostess/manager, really friendly and helpful. The more junior members of the team were less helpful, a bit slow and could’ve done with being a bit friendlier. We had to ask three different people for a bowl of water for the dog. Apart from that, we loved FAUN. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the ambience and vibe was great, fun choice of background music, great coffee, food arrived quickly, and very reasonably priced. Also dog friendly. Would definitely return!

Ordered the Shackshuka, cost was £13.50. Was expecting at least 4 eggs with that price. However It was only 1 fried egg on top. It should have been poached eggs not fried and the fried onions are nice but not a shackshuka. The sauce was tasty yes and the chorizo was a nice addition but there was barely any of it. Very disappointed and won’t be eating there again, absolute rip off for the price

Fab Syrian turmeric cake and very good coffee. Took way too long to take the order and then didn’t bring the water requested. Waiting staff disengaged and uninterested.

Great place, we came here because of recommendation and the place didn't disappoint. Great food, nice staff who's very well organised. We didn't have a table booked because of short notice, they advised to leave a phone number and they will call in around 25min. We did that and went decided some bread from there (amazing by the way) and they called back before we left, so no waiting at all. Even though the place was full, the order came very quick and was delicious! A bit expensive, but I think worth the money.

So worth a visit! All the simple things done right, delicious. Coffee and Chai latte 5 Stars! Well worth the price with the high quality and care taken! And the sweet treats at the Bakery.. we took home some Cruffins and they were devoured! If I don't come back here, I'll be sad forever!

Yum hot chocolate and good ambience

Fantastic place, great food and drink.

Weird experience. On the surface, this looks like a great cafe. Lovely interior. Stunning food. We ordered at half 10 - it took almost 40 minutes to receive two drinks and a pastry from the counter. Each part of our order was brought out separately and we had to ask twice where these parts of our order were. There seemed to be a general confusion amongst the staff (who were very friendly)! This would have been less of an issue had we not been sat outside (due to having a dog and there being no seating inside) in the freezing cold.

Wow, what a beautiful spot! I was recommended this place from a few customers so thought I’d check it out and see what the hype was about. The coffee was delicious, the food was exceptional (highly recommend the Shakshuka) and the interior is really beautiful with a really lovely, calm atmosphere. The service was also great to complete the experience, super friendly and attentive staff. 10/10 recommend you visit here immediately!

Love this place! Amazing food, coffee and atmosphere. We drive 45mins just to go for a treat.

Food is nice, service is appalling. Waitress missed us out and served other tables first. Had to go to the till in the end to get served. Then they forgot about our drinks. As I mentioned earlier, the service is very poor. Atmosphere... well it was like being in a creche.

Lovely atmosphere, service and exceptional food! Scandi inspired interior and a.great place to zen out! This place is Hygge defined. Guessing that that name FAUN is inspired by CS Lewis who used to frequent Malvern with JRR Tolkien. Faun being a creature in the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe. Recommended ♥️🙏

A cosy bolt-hole nestled near the famous Malvern hills. Relax, settle down and enjoy good food with chill vibes. The youngest member of the team (Lucy, 8 mnths) loved the tiny felt animals on the table. ❤️

Have been looking at this place for a while on Instagram and so glad we finally got over to try it! Great breakfast menu, reasonably priced for the quality of food and presentation, some lovely baked items to have in or take away. Staff friendly, nice atmosphere and decor. We'll definitely be back. Just make sure you have a booking at the weekend as it gets busy!

Beautiful food thoughtfully presented. The mulled apple juice was fabulous as was the smoked mackerel pate and warm gluten free bread.

Unfortunately came between boxing day and new year, so one of Malverns finest coffee shops was too crowded and I felt the vibe was more manic than calm. The food was delicious, some vegan options available and the tea selection was good. Staff were very well spoken and polite, though I wouldn't say warm, maybe it was how I was dressed! That said, it is family-friendly, step-free access, outdoor seating and able to accommodate big groups.

Brilliant cafe. We had a great lunch here recently ( food was excellent ) and enjoyed the coffee so much we returned again.

A lovely friendly place. I appreciate food is cooked to order but service was slow; I waited 30 minutes for posh fried eggs on toast and there were only two other tables occupied. The eggs were slightly overdone so it was quite a dry breakfast.

Excellent coffee, bread, eggs, cakes and food. The service is always excellent and everything is very fresh. The bread and pastries are the best we've ever had - definitely worth getting a cinnamon roll and Pan au Chocolat! The design of the cafe is great with the use of the old fixtures from when it was a department store! If we're in Malvern we always stop in here! The bread and coffee stamp cards are a great bonus too.

The mushrooms on toast was well presented but didn't do much for me. My fault not theirs. Staff were very attentive and bakery display was magnificent.

Great coffee shop, good selection of quality drinks and cakes. Some food is available. Gets very busy at the weekend, drop ins are possible but if there's 4 or more of you it's worth booking a table/calling ahead.

Oh my days, if I was based in Malvern I would *live* in this place. Possibly the most me café/brunch stop I’ve ever visited. Came here on a first date. Serious brownie points to the guy for finding it 😃

Great experience in Faun today. Delicious smoked mackerel Pate & salad, followed by toasted banana bread, superb. The service was on point today too.

Loved it here. Really nice vibe, great bakes, nice food, lovely staff. Parking is a wee pain but if you can do the steps up from Waitrose you'll be fine. Recommend.

We stopped in for lunch while passing through Malvern, and I'm glad we did! We shared two of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever eaten (the roast beef, and the cheese toastie), and if we lived closer I think we'd be coming back regularly! The pastries also looked worth trying, but sadly I was too stuffed to contemplate any more food.

The first, of I hope many, wine tastings - interesting wines, great knowledge and delicious light bites. 10/10 would recommend

Great as always. No doubt best in Malvern. Easy to keep your bikes safe as cyclists.

Exquisite café not far from RHS amenities and the springs which are all well worth a visit

We didn't have any food this time, but what we saw going past the table looked/smelt divine. The bakery, equally looks delicious. Very good quality coffee! And the staff were very pleasant. Overall a very relaxed and pretty setting.

Our go to when in Malvern, absolutely love it. The pastries are top tier and the drinks selection is so good too. I recommend the dirty chai and the beetroot latte in particular. The best!

We popped in last week for breakfast and were not disappointed. The grilled mushrooms on sour bread toast and crispy onions was delicious. Highly recommend 👌

Always a treat to come here for coffee, cake or brunch. Haven't yet tried the light lunches or the occasional special evening menus. The coffee is high quantity and well made. The cakes and pastries are absolutely delicious!

Great brunch spot. They have a bakery inside offering all the usual temptations, as well as seating inside and outside for a coffee or something more. I had the mushrooms on toast with their homemade beans - I really recommend! Even though it was very busy, the service was great and they also offer Gluten Free alternatives - perfect!

I’m quite confident I’ve never in my life tasted pastries this good… It was absolutely unreal!

Too pricey for what we had. 2 slices of sausage roll and hot drinks.

Service was good enough, thing that let it down was the food and drink. We had 2 sausage rolls, a coffee and a hot chocolate. The sausage rolls were not a whole sausage roll, but a slice, were very greasy, and HUGELY over priced, around 6 or 7 pound for a slice!! Coffee wasn't any better than any other coffee shop and the hot chocolate tasted like hot water and chocolate powder!

Faun is a stunning place. The food is excellent, the coffee is superb however the service is lacking. We have been 3 times now, and it's been the same each time. The quality of the food and great location make up for the slow service but this place would be so much better if the staff payed a bit more attention to the customers.

We went in and gad a take way sandwich with coffee. We waited more than 30min for the sandwich and had to ask for it! Clearly they have forgotten about it as when we got the sandwich wrapped in foil was cold. Bread was soggy and overall not nice. Maybe it's a nice place but we didn't feel it was at all.

One of many coffee shops in Malvern but this one is also a bakery, so its offerings are more of an in-house variety. Lots of lovely pastries to choose from and a nice selection of warm and cold meals. We had a lovely Latte, an Oat milk Latte, and an Organic Cola drink, to go with the Toasted Cheese sandwich, Sausage roll, Chocolate Brownie with thick cream and Chocolate praline and hazelnut Tart. We enjoyed everything about what we had, whilst sitting outside under the canopy.

Love love the egg custard tart. We stopped off in this lovely coffee shop on the way home. Highly recommended the coffee and food.

Dog friendly. I order my dogs sausage pattys and they love it. Also a great coffee shop if you work remotely.

Super nice food but, unfortunately, terrible service :-( We went for brunch and arrived around 11.45am on a Monday. We were seated in the back area. We waited ages for someone to come and take our order so I went to check if it was actually table service or if we needed to come to the front to order. Our waitress said she’d be with us in a minute. When she did finally come, no “Sorry for keeping you waiting” or anything! We ordered the veg Shashuka, the fried egg on sourdough with truffle oil and a side of the grilled mushrooms to share. The food was delicious however the waitress never came back to check if all was ok, if we needed anything else or to clear the plates at any point. There were other people sat at the back who had also been “forgotten” including a woman in a wheelchair. It was rubbish! I could see the waitress chatting with her colleagues in the meantime. I eventually went up to order a pastry as the waitress was still “too busy” chatting with her colleagues to. come and see if anyone wanted anything. This too took longer to arrive than it should have so I got up to get it! This was such a shame. I would suggest that either the waitress needs more training in “being a waitress” or just tell people it’s not actually table service and then expectations would be more realistic. So…, food is lovely but deffo don’t sit in the back area if you want table service!

Great spot for coffee and brunch

Just had a coffee -- which was OK. Nice to sit outside, though, in the sunshine.

I had a nice lunch here with a friend of mine. I ate the roasted chicken deli sandwich (and the staff were happy to let me swap out some ingredients!) and my friend ate the shakshouka. We both enjoyed what we ate and would recommend both dishes. The staff were pleasant and the interior is decorated so nicely - the outside eating area was a little unattractive but the summer weather made up for it! The drinks were a bit expensive and the strawberry shrub my friend ordered was very vingerary (we thought it tasted just like ketchup!)

Popped in for a tin sourdough and a Chai latte. Scrumptious as always.

Dog friendly coffee shop. I enjoyed the coffee (americano) and vanilla cruffin. You have many options including sourdough bakeries, cakes and tart. Nicely decorated interior brings you back in time... Friendly staff. Recommended.

Lovely bakery in Malvern! Superb pastries and breakfast options!

The best beans on toast I’ve ever had! On the first day of my two day trip I came here for a drink and a bit of cake. The lemon and raspberry cake was beautifully moist. For the second day we came back for lunch due to seeing the menu the day before. The beans on toast were lovely with beautiful smokey tomato flavour with a sweet vinegar and crispy onions. I got a sausage patty to go with them that was juicy and meaty. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere with a beautiful view from the hills. Would definitely go back for a third time!

End of a long walk and a Faun staff member comes out of the shop and offers us a free doughnut. It was your closing time, our tiredness, your random act of kindness….. thank you…. and, yes, the doughnut was awesome!!

I only went in for coffee but the bakery and food looks fantastic. A lovely buzzy place with a great sun terrace.

Brilliant! Was recommended here by my partner & have being meaning to go ever since. Such a fun vibrant place with an aesthetic perfect for a coffee & cake! The coffee - takeaway this time - was great tasting & not overly expensive. The cookie I also had was delicious well worth the money for the sweet treat! Will return for a bigger warm meal next time & hopefully it will live up to this now very high standard! Great effort.

So we called in today for our 2nd visit because we enjoyed out first visit. Was disappointed today. We ordered and was told even though the closed at 3 ( Sunday) we could have food. My husband wasn’t impressed with his sausage roll and my flat white arrived in a plastic cup, I’d had a real cup for my coffee first time. Unfortunately, cups were cleared while we were still eating and we were told at 2.55 they’d be closing in 5 mins. Basically, was pricey and we had to rush to finish because it was closing time. Maybe orders shouldn’t be taken so close to closing?

We visited Faun by chance after wanting to go to a coffee shop further along the road and wow it was a great decision! I went for the smoked salmon sourdough and it’s probably the best smoked salmon I’ve had at a restaurant. The cakes are also really nice as they’re a family run business and have them in fresh everyday. Definitely worth a trip if you’re hiking the Malvern Hills and want a pit stop on the way home.
