As a family we love Lebanese food so we thought we would give this place a try. As soon as you enter this place you are greeted by super friendly staff who were great with my young children. Food came promptly and was hot. Delicious food, hummus and fattoush was a little bland but everything else was tasty. I would of given a five star but my only gripe was the surprise service charge. I think customers should be allowed to tip what they want rather than a set fee which added £10 on our bill. I could of probably asked then to remove it but it's a bit awkward to say when your paying the bill.

Staff friendly and very helpful. Food is always great and all cooked fresh too. My son loves the lamb cubes and they are perfectly cooked! Not the first or the last time we have dined here! Love it!

The lamb biryani was really nice. The portion of lamb in the biryani was really generous. Falafel was good. I personally did not like the third item. However the staff were very nice and welcoming. Service charge is added to the bill.

First visit to Fattoush Lounge at The Metrocentre but it certainly won’t be the last. Three of us had the Fattoush mega mixed grill which is for four people and it was excellent. I would highly recommend this dish. It was very nicely presented and really tasty. Staff were really pleasant, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely one of the better places to eat at the Metrocentre.

We had a mixed grill and king prawns for an evening meal. All portions were really good and all the food tasted great. The king prawns and lamb were particularly good. The staff were all also really friendly and welcoming.

My boyfriend and I recently visited this restaurant after hearing wonderful things about the food and service, and we were blown away! The menu and drinks were absolutely fantastic. Our waitress, Selina, was an absolute gem—so talkative and friendly. We had never tried Lebanese cuisine before, and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend even got extra bread when he asked, which is a rare treat these days. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and we loved being able to see the chef preparing the food—it added a nice personal touch. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough, and we will definitely be coming back!

We wanted something to eat which was a little different from the usual big name restaurant brands , and we found it here. We have two beautiful meals, interesting and tasty salads with delicious chicken and vegetable dishes for main. The portion size were large and presented beautifully. We were made to feel very welcomed by the staff and it was good value for money.

I visited Fattoush Lebanese restaurant in the Metrocentre yesterday for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. I’ve been wanting to go in for months, if not years (I’m not sure how long it’s been there but I’m sure it’s a long time!). I don’t often write reviews but the food was amazing. The food didn’t come out straight away which was fine with me because It was fresh and so tasty. There were lots of healthy options and really reasonably priced. There is even an offer of 30% off at the moment. What made the experience even better was the gorgeous Selena who served us. She was so helpful, friendly and with such a bubbly personality, I felt like I’d known her for years. She explained all the dishes we weren’t sure of and helped us decide on a few different dishes which were all amazing. I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

What an absolute find! Genuine, freshly cooked flavoursome Lebanese food cooked in front of you in the open kitchen. Highly recommend trying the chicken shaslik and the special chicken wrap - just gorgeous! Cooked on open coals so the flavour is amazing. The chocolate cake for desert was so moist and just lovely. The Baclava was rich and authentic. HUGE portions too - enough for lunch and tea in a doggy bag. Will be back!

Had a good experience here. The lass that was front of house was very good, she made us feel comfortable. The staff were very polite and efficient. The food was lovely. We will definitely go back . A warm welcome We where greeted at the door and taken right away to a table, the restaurant was perfectly clean and well presented, all the staff where very polite and helpful.Our server was called Salina and we listened to her recommendations of dishes to try. The food was freshly prepared, generous portions and incredibly tasty and healthy also very reasonable prices. Would very much recommend.

A Wonderful Transformation at Fattoush Lounge! We had the pleasure of dining at Fattoush Lounge at Metro Centre, Newcastle today, and we were thoroughly impressed! After a less-than-ideal experience last year, we were hesitant to return, but since the introduction of the new management team, our experience was absolutely transformed for the better. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. The new management team, Ms. Salena and Mr. Naseer, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their genuine hospitality set the tone for what turned out to be an outstanding meal. The service was quick and efficient—our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived at our table in no time. The restaurant was impeccably neat, adding to the overall pleasant dining atmosphere. We ordered the family platter, which was a perfect choice for our group of four. It was generously portioned, filled with all the best BBQ delicacies, and bursting with amazing flavours. Each bite was better than the last, and the quality of the food truly exceeded our expectations. The generous servings ensured no one went hungry! We were pleasantly surprised at the end when we were informed that there was a special 30% discount for the day which significantly reduced our bill, making the experience even more enjoyable! It’s clear that with the new management, Fattoush Lounge has elevated the dining experience to a whole new level. This is a must visit to all lovers of quality Middle Eastern food. I went there for my birthday 2 weeks ago and ordered the mixed chicken kebab and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. It came on a huge oval plate and contained cubed chicken breast, minced chicken, shawarma chicken and chicken wings. It also came with a delicious house rice, grilled vegetables, salad and a basket of bread. The staff were so well mannered, friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed and were enjoying our visit. I definitely plan on visiting there again soon.

Passed this place so many times so we thought why not try it. The waitress was lovely and we could tell she was having a bit of a mad day but her service was amazing and we hope the little cuddle from our baby girl cheered her up. Food was out of this world. So much flavour in the meat we definitely will be back.

I won a competition and dined here at the weekend, I've already been previously and it's never disappointed. We love it here! The chefs knocked up a beautiful salad, halloumi and my fave,the Batata Harra... So much flavour we loved all the starters. I got the shish taouk with chips and my partner got the mixed grill and couldn't fault a thing,absolutely beautiful! thank you to the amazing staff as well,I'll be back very soon!

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with a rude staff member at checkout. He aggressively insisted on adding a service charge, making it very uncomfortable to decline. It felt targeted, especially as we were a group of young women. He claimed the service charge was compulsory, which is not the case. This same issue has occurred twice now, and it’s completely unacceptable. I will not be returning unless this matter is addressed.

The elderly man at the till was extremely rude and took advantage of me and my friends. He insisted that the service charge was 'compulsory,' but it was clear he was making up random amounts for each person, even though we all ordered the same food. He charged us different service fees, essentially robbing us, and wouldn’t let us leave until we paid. It felt like we were being targeted simply because we were young women. The whole experience was very upsetting, and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Completely dishonest and unprofessional.

Great Halal Spot for Lunch! Stopped by for lunch since it’s one of the few halal options in Metro. The shawarma and chips were delicious, and I especially loved the Mexican hot sauce—it added a nice kick! The bread was a bit cold and hard, which was a slight downside, but the overall meal was satisfying. The staff were friendly, and the older gentleman at the till was particularly kind, taking a moment to chat. It’s a solid grill spot with good food and welcoming service. Definitely worth a try!

We're in Newcastle for the weekend visiting family and stopped at Fattoush Lounge for lunch, the food was delicious with good sized portions, and Selina the lady who served us was lovely and super friendly! Would definitely visit again!

Burnt my wrap! It was all dry and burnt so money wasted because of their stupid worker cleaning and forgetting about my wrap!

Been there few days ago the food was beautiful and all the staff are lovely, always checking up on you if you need anything. I will be back!!!!

Avoid at all costs. Horrible staff attitude. Called up to ask if the meat and chicken was halal and who their suppkier was, an arrogant male voice passed the call to a even worse sounding female who in turn asked if i was allright in the head, instead of showing a little courtesy she carried on insulting. Man am i glad we (6) called up before going to such a place. I would give 0 stars if i had the chance and now understand why the restaurant is allways empty. Management needs to train these horrible staff

Delicious Lebanese Lunch with husband. A Wednesday afternoon we ate from the Lunchtime Special 2 Courses menu. Price point was very reasonable, delicious food served really quickly and portion sizes are large for the main course . Comfortable seats and great service. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant. We went to the Metro Centre for my birthday meal, and out of all the restaurants available we chose this one. On getting seated, I ordered the Shawarma chicken and chips, and the wife ordered Sambousek cheese. Within minutes the food arrived, couldn't believe how quick the service was. It was all absolutely delicious, little side dishes of spicy sauce and a garlic dish also included. Portions were large and prices not too bad for the city. All in all I highly recommend this restaurant for the food, service and atmosphere. Certainly a big change from the usual pizzas, burgers and fish and chips that other places do. 5☆ definitely.

Visited this beautiful place today, atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. It was not busy as we arrived but the queues started Ince we were seated. The young waitress was a great help explaining the while menu and advising what the dishes were also very pretty and smiling alot the service was amazing. After the meals were served another young lady approached and asked about the meal we said it was beautiful. Also very attractive I did nit expect her to have a Georgia accent and we had a good laugh together. I found out Selina was the manager and she ran an amazing restaurant. She gave amazing customer service and has now made this my favourite restaurant. I want the owners to know Selina is a credit to your restaurant and to keep doing what you're doing the food was outstanding. Thank you for a great experience.

Wow this place has got the lot, first class service, unbelievably tasty food (and you get a lot of it) and very reasonably priced. We decided to eat here after walking away initially but so pleased we did. We could not fault a single thing about the food. Every bit of meat on our mixed grill was exceptional. The chicwkn wings were phenomenal. Special mention to Selena who after finding out it was our first visit gave us a complimentary chessecake which was so kind. We will be back

Avoid this place at all cost. My son and I had lunch here couple of weeks ago, Food tasted great, service was good. 3 days later not so good. Both myself and my son had gripping pains in the tummy, diarrhoea, fever and sweats. I myself was hospitalised with severe dehydration and put on a drip. After being tested both our results came back positive for food poisoning… Campylobacter!!!! Over 2 weeks have passed and we both still feel poorly. After reading previous reviews it’s evident this isn’t the first time they have given someone food poisoning. My son and I don’t live together and only ate together at this restaurant. They clearly aren’t following guidance on food hygiene

We an amazing experience at Fattoush in the Metrocentre. The food was absolutely delicious. Salina made the experience even better. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. Her service was fast and efficient, and she really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great dining experience.

My wife brought me here for my birthday lunch today. I've never tried Lebanese food before, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The chicken soup I had for my starter was amazing. And my main meal chicken was delicious too. Mind, I had to box the rest to take home with being full. Really nice staff 👍

We love coming here, our kids only want to eat here when we visit the metro centre. The food is delicious but the thing that stands out the most is the service! They can't do enough for you and are great with the kids. My boys look for their favourite waiter every time they come in, he always makes the time to come and speak to them or make them flowers out of the napkins ☺️ Must try are the Fatoush sandwich and the biryani.

I wish I could give more stars than 5 to this restaurant. We went here on a Sunday afternoon for some lunch and it was fantastic from the moment we entered. Do not be fooled by the humble entrance as this place is exceptional in every respect. The staff looking after us from the moment we entered were friendly, welcoming and very attentitive. The location is spotlessly clean and being able to view the kitchen area is brilliant, seeing all the food being prepared as it is ordered is lovely. The food is the most falvoursome and delicious we have tasted in a long time. I had chicken sharwarma with a salad and some traditional Lebonese bread. The chicken was so succulent and moist, with a flavour that made you just go back for one more bite. The salad was delishes and fresh and infact so good with the mint dressing I would have quite happily ordered it as a stand alone dish. The Lebonese bread was so light it was perfect to accompany my meal. My husband had the lamb and okra with rice. Now I am not a lover of lamb but trying it from my husbands plate, as it looked so good and the look of sheer joy as he was eating it, had me second thinking my choice of meal. The lamb literally melted in your mouth with the seasoning and spice to complement it in the sauce. My husband is from the USA and they eat a lot of okra there which is one of the reasons he chose the dish as he rarely gets okra in the UK. He stated it was the nicest okra he had ever had and accompanied by the sauce it was just pure deliciousness. Ultimately my recommendation if you have never been to this gem of a restaraunt is GO! They deserve a ten diamond award and we shall definately be returning. Thank you for a fantastic and memorable dinning experience.

More than enough for 3. Swarma chicken, chicken kebab, lamb kofta, chicken wings, marinated chicken beautifullypresentedwith red cabbage,onion and peppers. . Bread and hummous. Absolutely delicious. Lovely and relaxed dining experience. One of our families favourites places to eat. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I popped in yesterday on impulse and ordered a meal. When you have no expectations it's very easy to be underwhelmed. We were absolutely delighted with the food, the friendly staff and reception. From an impulse visit, this will now be our must visit every time we decide to eat in the Metrocentre.

I do not recommend it at all. A real robbery. We were served two plates of chicken with four pieces of onion and one piece of carrot and a bunch of bad fries. Plus a can of coke £3.50 and an apple soda £ 3.50. We ordered the typical Turkish honey cakes for £3.95, and we were served 3 tiny pieces, and they were dry, not good at all. Once at the cash register, I discovered that I had been charged a 12% service charge, sorry? I had never been charged that in any other restaurant. I didn't want to argue because I was with my son and I didn't want to give him a hard time, but I was furious; I was being taken for a ride, and it was an absolute abuse. Don't take me for an idiot!! In total £50. That is a lot of money for just some chicken, a coke an apple soda and 3 dry pastries. I must say that the chicken was delicious, and the service was friendly but very careless, they do not look to see if you need anything. There was a man from Syria and a woman from Slovakia that were very nice. I could see there was a lot of lack of control, they brought me something that I had not asked for, lame tables that move, they do not pay attention or care to the clients. And then they charge me with a 12% service charge!! I feel ripped off and will not return. If you want to be ripped off, this is your place. Pd.: I told the man at the cashier, who seems to be the manager, that they only served us 3 tiny pieces of honey pastry for £3.95, and I expected him not to charge for it. Instead, he brought us 4 more pieces in a case, but still, they are not worth the money. You can find them for 99pence a box of 10 in HomeBargains. Probably that is where they buy them, because they were identical. They just want your money. AVOID!!!
