The stuff are not friendly and you can see in their faces that anyone coming after 10 PM are not welcome here.

Enjoyed a lovely meal last night food was amazing. Good value. Friendly staff & relaxed atmosphere

Card only!!! They should really inform customers on entry, we had to improvise what has happened to cash is king a tipping the staff I will never know! Feel so bad for the staff, they was so apologetic for the card only but it’s not enough, food was mediocre my partner asked for well done steak an when it was brought out it was medium, nacho's was wrap cut up an fried not real nachos! My partner is partially blind so she struggles with the card machine had to get up an assist really not impressed with our first visit! Not worth the hassle to come here, also seated by the entrance you will have zero table service. Not disability friendly!

Disgusting food. Hard potatoes, soft garlic bread - can taste dough, feathers on chicken wings. The worst food I ever had. 17.95. I would rather eat sand.

I really didn't think there were still hotel 'restaurants' like this any more. In this day & age, with a ton of other MUCH cheaper and CONSIDERABLY better options just a short walk away, you'd think they'd be able to do better. Caesar salad...chicken is an optional (6 quids worth of) add-on making for nearly £20 of very bland food. We do better at home with HelloFresh 🤷🏼‍♂️ Seriously, this is very poor for a supposedly upper end hotel group. Decor is dubious and dated, like an 80s club. Staff here are one of the saving graces, polite but bored and seemingly as frustrated as disappointed customers. Drinks were ok. I'm just genuinely surprised at such poor value for money 🤷🏼‍♂️

Served by Vikki who could not do enough to make sure my dinning experience went well. Very professional and helpful. All staff were outstanding.

Went to Faraday's for our parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary - They had a night to remember! The staff were so helpful & set up a lovely table for us - and Vicki in particular, made their night with her friendliness and fun throughout the evening. It was such an enjoyable night with wonderful food too - couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Vicki and all the staff x

Brilliant birthday family lunch for 22 guests. All the staff were so professional and helpful especially Beth. All the food was perfectly cooked and presented. Cannot praise the restaurant and staff enough. Highly recommend

Poor quality food and silent service. Servers could do with smiling. £14.95 for a frozen re-heated chicken burger. I try not to eat here as it not great but sometimes it’s the only option, I’ve been fully refunded for food here in the past.

Lovely meal, food was excellent. Staff very helpful, pleasant and obliging. Would definitely visit the restaurant again and also recommend to friends.

Good service lovely food. An initial mix up with our big order. This was quickly rectified with no fuss.

We were really impressed by the menu options available for vegans. There was a nice variety of tasty food. The drinks were also great - a good number of cocktails, as well as beers. Everything was really reasonably priced. The staff were truly excellent. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend visiting for a meal.

Staff are really attentive. The food is warmed in mysterious ways; the bread rolls for the soup are piping hot, so you let them cool and by that time they are brick hard... microwaves are at play, me thinks. Caesar's salad, £12; add chicken £18: for a flipping salad!!!!??? One small chicken breast added and it had been... microwaved - rubber duck, more like.

A lovely bar and almost better restaurant 😁 Wonderful outdoor space in the summer months. Overlooking the canal. The place just has a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

There is plenty on offer for breakfast, from continental to cooked breakfast. The staff are always polite, friendly and helpful.

Went on 14th august 22 for our 1st anniversary meal was greeted by kim who brought our meals and drinks she made our day special she was very polite and also thanks to the chef who made us a extra menu as restaurant was closed but still allowed us to have out 1st anniversary meal in main restaurant all to our selfs only had to pay for our drinks as Copthorne payed for our meals as we had our wedding hear would definitely recommend this place as food was really nice.

Absolutely fantastic service during our stay at the hotel. The team couldn't have done more for us to cater for my little girls allergies - I had a phone call from executive head chef before we visited to outline the safety measures that they were putting in place for her, all of her food was cooked fresh to order, we were seated and served separately to minimise cross contamination and every member of staff working during the weekend was aware of her allergies. The food was all delicious too, with super friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend, particularly if you have specific dietary requirements.

We went to the restaurant on the first night we stayed at the hotel as we got there quite late and it was easy. We wish we never did. Our food was OK but the children's meal was shocking. £6 for a TIN! of mac and cheese, which is disgusting at the best of times and something I would never expect to see in a restaurant. Frozen pizza for kids I get but Tinned mac and cheese? That's a whole new low. They may as well not have a "chef" as all the food could have easily been reheated by the front of house. The waitress was lovely but definitely is not enough enough make up for the completely unacceptable food. Would never ever go again and recommendyou don't waste your money either.

Bit of a let down on the website stated evening meal but all was served was bar snacks

Was quite busy for a Monday but waited over 90 minutes for a cheeseboard. Chased after about 50 minutes and was told the supervisor was on it. Supervisor came and asked if it was the burger i had ordered. Confirmed it was the cheeseboard and then nothing...... After 90 minutes I went to the bar and cancelled but was told by a staff member pulled in from events that they couldnt refund me and I would have to see reception. In all those respects, the customer service experience was abominable. The only positives - the lady behind the bar who did her best try to move things on in a courteous way and was probably as frustrated as I was (and probably undairly took the brunt of my frustrations - so apologies if you read this) - the guy on reception who sorted things out in a measured and professional way, acknowledging my frustrations and calming me down. On the whole though, a very bad experience for a simple cheeseboard order.

Very overpriced for what it was, chips were basic £1 frozen french fries and partners onion rings the same even though they were 2.59 extra. We were charged 6 quid for a kids desert as they classed it as a main meal! Not being rude but my daughter had already eaten because she is 3 and it was merely to keep her occupied. Menu options were very limited and pricey. Staff were helpful enough but all in all we wouldn't go back or recommend. 44.00 for two mediocre mains (cheapest on menu), 1 drink each and a children's ice cream.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered ribs, waited rather a long time when arrived they were like scratchings. Meal booked for our wedding anniversary. Ended up walking in the rain across the bridge to weatherspoons. Just so upset that we didn't get the copthorne experience after spending so much money on our wedding. The restaurant supervisor offered nothing but did take our £33+ for pathetic shared starters and bottle of white wine. Very, very disappointed

Friendly staff. Breakfast was good and I don't understand the negative breakfast reviews. Great choice of options.

Ibiza night, staff great room great, night started off good, shame music ended up pants, meal was nice but pudding was very bland, looked the part no flavour loads of people left it, shame, would come again though

Wow. Great service. Great food. great location. We stayed 2 nights and ate here twice. The second time we had to order from the bar menu. But was still good. Just not as much choice. The staff were very attentive. They do need a little more training. But work in progress is good. A floaty coffee was there first downfall. Lol But now they know. I said if you just ask for it. I'm sure they will know what it is. And they did. Thanks again. For some wonderful food. And even better service .
