1 hour 30 delivery , not acceptable

Regular customer of fans. Placed a online order at 6.00pm food came after 8.00pm after 3 phone calls to be told the food had left with driver. When food arrived we were very disappointed food was warm as if been cooked & kept warm. No apology after numerous phone calls Time to find a new Chinese takeaway.

Took 2 hours for delivery, 45 mins late. Top it off when the food got here is really wasn’t the best. No flavor very bland. Only leaving review as this is now the 3rd time they have done exactly this.

Started using Fan's as it's pretty much impossible to get through to my regular on a Saturday night. Food was great, and I've now made them my regular. Have picked up and had delivery and both times service has been amazing and food was great.

Glad the hygiene rating has gone back up, as the food has always been lovely from here,and the shop is clean,probably the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Hopefully the hygiene rating doesn't drop again. Only negative I would say is the delivery takes a long time, so better to collect if possible.

Ordered food at 7pm, was told 45 min wait. Rang a few times more and told driver on way. 9pm now, rang again, everything’s ready just cooking a pancake roll then it’s on its way. With all the competition around now you’d think they’d up there game. We cancelled the order anyway so never got to try the food and sadly never will cos no way I’ll order from this shoddy outfit ever again.

We always have nice food from here. All meals we've tried were hot, fresh and well prepared. The food has never made us ill and they recently got a 5 star food hygiene rating which is honestly very rare in many Chinese restaurants so we are always happy to get food from here. Prices are good, quality is good, we recommend this place to our friends who have used other local Chinese takeaways and had bad experience in terms of quality from them. Well done Fans. Online ordering is easy too and isn't tied into Uber or the like.

I’m always dubious about trying new food places but I’m so glad we have! This is now our go to Chinese!! Food is always hot! And we have not been disappointed the times we have been! 10 out of 10!! Highly recommend!!!

had food from here tonight very tasty too I decided to collect save on delivery payment 6 80 for my meal of salt and pepper chicken rice chips and curry sauce amazing food guys so nice will be visiting again shortly as it's only 5 minutes from me

Just ordered from here the food arrived after an hour. All the food including the chips were so overcooked it was all inedible. The chips felt like they’d been warmed back up the chicken balls were way overdone they burst into bits when putting the fork in. All went in the bin. Total disgrace to charge for this rubbish

Best Chinese about since its been taken over

Waited 2 hours for food. Was at the point of going to bed £27 down! Rang to see were the order was. It hadn’t even been started. Waited another 20 mins for a driver with bad attitude. Shut the door, and a loud bang at the door. Open my front door to abuse from the driver he ran off swearing and took my garden gate off its hinges. Rang the manager and she offered me a £5 voucher!! Avoid at all costs ( we have been using for years) terrible service from ordering to delivery.

Nothing wrong with food. Ordered at 6.30. Had to chase it at8.30. They apologised and said 10 mins. A reduction in cost. Eventually it came. Got charged 40 pence more than it originally was. Don’t usually take too much notice of reviews but my god they are right

Unbelievably bad food experience. I’m guessing the salt and pepper chips we cook the previous night as they had clearly been microwaved. I counted 3 pieces of dried up peppers in them and they were bland with no flavour. The meat I’m both the main dishes was also dry and rubbery. On a plus the driver was nice so he had a decent tip. I won’t be using again🙁

Seriously, don't bother. I won't say no more. Can't stick to time frames, call & ask for an update & they aint got a clue. Utter shambles.

Ordered a meal at 7.45 pm phoned asking where it was at 9.10 pm they said was just being done and couldn't tell us a time because they couldn't get in touch with driver. Don't bother unless you don't want your food in 2hours time. JOKE !! Exclusive website .... you don't even have one !! You knew my order and which one it was ... so don't try and sound professional !!

Never received Absolutely disgusting waiting time to be told an hour then you rang back an hour and 30 mins and it’s still being cooked and then told how long the delivery takes??? would be 2 hrs later. No thank you if you can’t cope don’t take the orders. AVOID

Having read positive reviews we tried this take away for an evening meal but sadly we were extremely disappointed. We ordered a selection of dishes and provide the following personal assessment. Mixed starter. The ribs were dry and tasteless. The prawn toast was tasteless. The mini spring rolls and samosas were both tasteless and absent of any content. The szechuan chicken had a slight hint of chilli (nothing more) but the chicken texture was like eating cheap rubber. The whole dish was a huge disappointment. The deep fried crispy shredded beef in a chilli sauce was the joker in the pack. It had no taste of chilli at all and was more like sweet and sour. I dissected the majority of the "crispy beef" and could find no hint of beef at all. It seemed to be no more than crispy batter. The roast pork fried rice was in fact good and a dish. I would eat again, but as a compliment to the other main dishes it was the only passable food. The prawn crackers were a freebie but other than the expected texture were tasteless. Sadly we will not order a takeaway again. The food was volume rich but quality poor.

Lovely meal but waiting time far to long nearly 2 hours from ordering !!

if i could give zero stars i would, mess up our order so we ring back up as we only live 2 minute walk away, person who answered was very rude (the person who took the order) told me that it was her mistake but there’s nothing she can do about it. we spent nealry £30 to get our meal of no meat plain chow main and fried rice was vile, i will never order here again, did nothing to help us, if there case they don’t care about making the customer happily, doesn’t not matter to them all about the money not making the customers happy, stay clear if i was you!!!

Omg can’t rate this Chinese any less. I’ve been going for years and it’s the best that I found. It’s honestly so good. Great customer service too. Always so happy to go there. Wish I could give more stars.
