Fancy Fry in Harlow

Absolute disgrace. We ordered at 7:30pm and called again at 9pm to check where the food was - I was told it'd be 10 minutes, at 9:30 they unhooked their phone and by 10:10pm we gave up. The WORST takeaway service I've ever experienced.

The food is appalling and I also question the hygiene standards of the establishment. Absolutely shocking. Don't waste your money.

Fish is very nice but not so good with the chips

ordered 3 burgers, and one of them didn't have sauce or salad , apart from that , it was good,hot food, delivered on time .

Fish was over cooked. Was not edible. Went in the bin..Fed up with complaing. Will try elsewhere in future.

How generous and lovely are these people. I think I pressed the wrong button during my order . I wanted it delivered because I don’t drive, but when I checked it said I was going to pick it up. I called the restaurant and they were so lovely and said it was waiting for me , so they drove out to me with a new supply and delivered it. How kind . Thank you so much you are diamonds. 🙏🙏🏿🙏🏽🙏🏻

Fantastic food. Great quality. Highly recommend these guys. 100% best traditional chippy. Also, very good fried chicken, not dry but succulent and juicy! If you’re reading this don’t hesitate to order honestly

Close this place down, just ordered from just eat. Waste of money, thier food is awful. Had cod and a burger. Imagine a burger van in a lay-by at 2am and that's being nice. This is the worst takeaway I have had in years if not ever.

order had sone bits missing when arrived but 10 mins Later someone brought the rest of it so can't fault that. there good lads in there . I use them every week when I'm pRked locally in the lorry.

I ordered a delivery via Just Eat, the food turned up quicker than stated which was good but that's the only positive. I have a feeling a lot of the food had been previously cooked but had been re-heated to warm it up before delivery but the food was cold when it arrived! Cod was cold and really greasy and the fish tasted stale like it was a cheap frozen piece of fish and the batter was rock hard in places, the chips were cold and burnt in the middle but surprisingly still undercooked, the pie was cold and soggy and the mushy peas were also cold. Overall it was a complete disappointment and a very unpleasant experience, i will not be ordering from here again. To top it off i now have the s##t's too!

The food turned up a lot quicker than was advertised which was good, but that's the only positive I can give. Won't be ordering from here again, everything was cold, fish was very greasy and tasted stale, pie was soggy chips looked burnt in the middle and very pale on the edges and were quite firm from not being clocked long enough. This was our first and last time ordering here, truly disgusting.

Cannot believe what state the food was in ?! Burnt chips, donner meat not fully cooked, the fish and chips were so oily none of us could even come to half with it ! Went straight in the bin !

Never had a problem from here but today I got the sfc and it did not taste nice at all some bits didn’t looked cooked other bits was very dry so was disappointed

This meal was so disappointing it actually hurt my feelings. The chips tasted like what I imagine refried cardboard fried in old oil to taste like. Hard & powdery, Lots of green & black root sprouts. The fish just tasted like the pink styrofoam they used to package it. No salt or vinegar was added with no option online to request. I could not eat that hot mess. The only thing that was good was the swift delivery but no wonder cause they totally dropped the ball in the kitchen. Sorry bNever again

Not good this time ,, Ordered a Kebab "no sauce" and 2 Saveloy's that's it nothing else .. I got a kebab covered in BBQ sauce which i hate which means i couldn't eat it & binned it, i got a salad i didn't ask for nor ever eat plus got an extra bread thing also pointless and binned .... all in all pretty poor tbh . come on guys READ THE ORDERS properly don't guess them ..

Ordered 3 cod and 3 chips, was disgusting that 60% of the chips were brown and mouldy looking as if it was bad potatoes and one of the fish was a half a cod in comparison to the other two. This all put us off the chips and I will never use this shop again..

the food was hot, but it was so overcooked. it was so obvious that it was food that had been reheated, the fish batter was nearly black and soggy. the chips were half burnt and had black bits of burnt on them. I was so hungry (as I had no food), but I had to throw my food away, so still hungry

Usually really enjoyed this take out. But today wasn’t up to standard. The chips were dry and very crispy with hardly any decent ones in the portions.

Chips were disgusting. Overcooked and chewy, some were burnt. Scampi was ok but quite chewy. The burger and cod were both nice just a huge disappointment as we had to throw most of the chips away they were inedible.

Chips were old , dry and cold had to put in oven

I consistently order from fancy fry and every time it arrives on time or earlier and the food is piping hot and absolutely spot on👌🏻 amazing service and amazing food, my go to for a reliably good meal

My partner and me both woke with a bad belly today. Must of been the jumbo hotdogs as my son is fine and that’s the only thing he didn’t have.

I didn’t mean to order from fancy fry. I was supposed to order from Atlantic Fishbar I got fish and chips and a pickle. The fish was lovely and the small size, but the chips were burnt. Delivery was nice and quick
