The food was not enjoyable at all. Prices are expensive too, because why am I seeing 9 wings for 5.00 . I thought to myself, that the wings would be big. The wings are absolutely tiny and so spicy with not a single pinch of salt. These wings were for me and my mum, along with that, we got one oreo milkshake to share and a portion of chips. I would of rather went farm foods for a huge pack of chicken popcorn for less than 5.00 than get nine tiny wing ,that even one person could not fill up on, for 5.00 . For 9 wings, 1 portion of chips and a milkshake for 10.95. do not go to this place it's absolutely a rip-off!!!!

Burger was ok nothing special, however donner was really oily and not giving the feelings as something special and leaving bland test. Chips were not fully fried as it was soggy and uncooked in the middle.

The worst overpriced place to eat! Paid about £50 for 3 burgers! That were absolutely dead. The donner was horrendous. Dry and really old looking, food poisoning on a plate. Don’t bother ordering from here it’s just a waste of money.

It's my go to spot to get spicy burgers. The customer service could get better but it's not the worst. Prefer their spicy sauce over many others especially with some mayo. Their fries are mostly fresh and made to order and lightly salted with peri peri salt which pairs nicely with the spicy sauce. Would recommend if you don't mind waiting a bit for your order even without any rush. A massive thing that I love about them is the boycott of Cola, so they sell a similar drink which is amazing. Love to see it.

I been to this shop after a while hoping any change ....but it actually gone worse .... I was in a rush went to this shop skipping the other bees and shakes quality shop. Hopping to get serve quickly, shop was empty , female staff took the order. Put the chips for fry and then went off start cleaning in the back and male staff start drinking and he has got now clue how to speak wid the customer and never bother wid the order ...10 mins later I asked whose doing my burger and he goes wait.....flipping ridiculous attitude ....fk that stupid cheeky attitude man

I recently dined at famous 5, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. The burger was overcooked and dry, resembling a hockey puck more than a juicy patty. The bun was stale and lacked any semblance of freshness. The toppings were sparse, and what was supposed to be lettuce looked like it had seen better days. The fries were limp and soggy, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Overall, Burger Haven failed to deliver on taste, quality, and freshness. Save your money and go elsewhere for a burger worth eating.

The donner wrap was dry, and the spicy chicken burger had no kick to it at all. It was like eating cardboard with a hint of spice. Definitely not worth the money.

The food was good value but I couldn't finish mine as it was way too spicy even though I asked for not spicy.

Nice when it first opened but has fallen of massiively since.

Food was not made to a decent standard based on price and what other places offer. However, the service was fast, and the lady at the counter was patient with explaining the menu.

I have always seen people are standing in the queue to buy food from here, so I thought their food must be really tasty. Today I had their meal deal 1 (chicken cheese burger with chips & drink), I don't know what was that 😅 it felt like the chicken fillet, the ketchup, the fries everything had a swim in the salty ocean 🤣🤣🤣 too much salt in every item ... why !!! I didn't understand the actual taste of the burger. Never gonna buy from here.

The Spicy Chicken Burger is a very delicious, spicy and filling burger, at only £5 with fries and drink. Service is fast, the drinks are chilled, definitely makes up for the lack of dine-in.

Pathetic food taste. Couldnt eat their cement type of sauce. Owner is fraud, he always portray himself as good person and play with innocent people by giving them offers for job.

When I’m in Manchester, I always try a spicy chicken burger, and to date none have impressed (barring Cleo’s). Unfortunately Famous 5’s joins that list of wannabe spice joints. The shop was clean, with good deco, but takeout only. Gentleman at the till was friendly, can’t fault the service. It’s the food that let the place down. Spicy chicken wings were just mushy, no crunch, no spice. Glad I only ordered 3. I’m talking KFC levels of spice at best. The spicy dipped chicken burger was better, but nothing to write home about. The bun was overly large and wasn’t toasted, meaning it disintegrated. I couldn’t taste the chicken which wasn’t spicy in the slightest. Far too much mayo. The Ferrero Delight milkshake was really nice though. Overall I was left disappointed. If I want a bland chicken burger, I can go KFC, at least their chicken is crunchy.

Famous five is a very, very good place to go. Eat some spicy food and the spicy burgers are very good. I recommend this one and the service is pretty good and the atmosphere isn't quite nice. It's just a room with burgers on the wall and the prices are reasonable my favourite burger place.

Went to get a chocolate milkshake. The guy literally got one Ferrero roche, cut it I'm half and put the other half back on the shelf. He then preceeded to bite the half that was going to milkshake leaving me with a quarter blended in my shake. Not a great experience. Price ok. More choclage required

Definitely one of the best spicy chicken burgers in Manchester (Having tried pretty much all of them). Seems to be family run, nice polite service. Gave out dates and water bottles free of charge for customers waiting/in queue during Iftar/breaking fast. Donner was pretty good also. Prices are very competitive. Likely to become one of my regular go-tos! (Also noticed most of the low reviews were 1year ago so perhaps they struggled a bit back then but certainly should be 4* or more now)

1st i came here it was late night i was pretty much the last order so i let it be. Today is the 2nd ive been here. I am not impressed. Chips under cooked,oily and soggy, the chicken had no flavour other than the spice sauce. Wanted donner pitta but they had no pitta left so took the donner muffin instead. The donner itself was tasty however it was not fresh. It was hard. You really need to focus on quality if you are to survive in this current climate.

Food is expensive here expecially considering how tiny the wings are , I had to put 1 pence coin (1p) next to them just to show how small they were and worst part they were cold and hard in places. Fillet Burger & chips was 8/10 but price doesn't justify the quality when you have better competition few doors down from here , shame really if they priced it well and didnt serve cold hard wings than I would prob give it 5 stars

Tried their red donner: just right and not too greasy, easy to eat in a burger with little mess.

Yes this was definitely one of my favourite dipped spicy chicken fillet burgers in Manchester. Chips were ok.... I do think packaging is a bit OTT but not a major issue. Def worth the fiver. Would buy again... Parking is an issue at busy times as its on a busy road.

Burgers were okay but nothing to go out of your way for. I traveled especially to try the famous 5 but wouldn't say I was blown away. Menu was quite basic.

I only got milkshakes from here so I will review off the shakes only, in'sha'allah in the future I will try the food. The workers were a jolly bunch of brothers and top marks for good customer service. Bought 3 shakes Oreo, millionaire and kinder bueno all I can say is they were all spot on. Affordable price 3.99 each and tasted amazing well done guys keep up the great work 👍

After all the hype did I even go to the same place?? The girl serving hasn't smiled in years, didn't seem to even want me in the shop, the burger was just awful, it was overcooked and chewy. The sauce it was dipped in was alright it had a nice spice to it but the overall burger was not enjoyable at all. Would not return, real shame aswell I had hopes for this one.

Tried to order takeout from here tonight after i order from you guys all the time I ordered food for me and my children they wouldn't deliver as they thought it was a fake order absolutely disgusting with the service I've received from here tonight well what can I say they have just lost a loyal and regular customer won't be ever ordering from here again

First time I ordered from here. Delivery was very fast and all the family enjoyed the range of food. I had the cheese burger which was very juicy whilst the kids loved the chicken strips and chips. Will definitely be ordering again. :-)

Gourmet burgers are mega. Big. Thick. And filling. Donner and chips? The Donner is dry. It is fresh. But this may have been to delivery. Would be different if it was a pick up I reckon. Chips was double fried. We ordered a big meal. Burnt one of the burgers. But it was Friday night. They might have been busy. Still no excuse. Definitely try the Gourmet burgers and the chicken fillet burger is amazing too. Milkshakes are big thick and filling.

The burgers were amazing me and my son got the smashed beef, my wife and daughters got the spicy chicken they whole family really enjoyed them. I also got a milkshake it was very tasty complimented my burger really well. The food arrived really quickly, hardly any waiting. I will definitely be coming again

The best burgers, they are not too salty like other places and the sauce is perfect too. It is one of the very rare places where they make a fresh burger.

Absolutely worth a visit, very good spicy burgers. Up there with the big ones like Miami’s and Shakebee, well worth it if you’re in the area.

Just purchased a beef burger and in every bite there was BONE in the meat? Teeth kept crunching down on bone, I pulled it out my mouth just to confirm it was bone and not abit of tough muscle, once I pulled a chunk of bone out of my mouth I threw it away and carried on eating, I thought it may of been a one off but then on my 2nd bite and 3rd bite there was more bone so I had to keep spitting out the food. Might not be a problem with the establishment as much as where they get their meat from but it must be extremely cheap to come at this quality. Famous 5 have decided to buy cheap burger meat filled with bone to maximise their profits instead of thinking about their customers.

Taste n quality the end, I am impressed to c it and have to say food is pretty decent and it was also reasonably priced. The chicken was soft, tender and easy to bite and the coating on chicken was delicious

As I was in Manchester I saw this place whilst passed, so I parked up and decided to give it a try. I ordered a spicy chicken fillet burger, as am a fan of spicy chicken fillet burgers, as I love going to places like Miami's, philly's, new York Crispy and Cluck'A'rito. After the first bite, I was impressed and have to say food was pretty decent and on par to the places mentioned above and it was also reasonably priced. The chicken was soft, tender and easy to bite and the coating on chicken was delicious - spicy with a crunch and the sauce on chicken packed a punch, if you are into spicy chicken. The Customer service recieved was brilliant, as the guys were very polite. Would I visit again? , Yes, i would and it would be in my in my top five favourite chicken places in Manchester. Recommend to all.

Had a tower burger meal from this place. Was really disappointed, the chicken itself was ok, the hash brown was dead and soggy as was the onion rings, probably because they sat on the warmer thing for ages. The worst part of it was the gravy, it was like dunking my chips into cement, I threw the gravy pot in the bin. Disappointed

Customer service is very important and they have failed to delivery it plus the food is not great I give them 1 star but they don't deserve it at all maybe next time if they improve with customer service I will them give them 2 stars,

My sister had the chicken wrap from this place and felt sick couple of hours started to feel sick. Vomited all over multiple times and got really sick. Poor quality food

By far the best place to get burgers in my opinion. Very reasonable prices and their food tastes good. I went to Miami Crispy not long ago to see what the hype was about but was very disappointed. Would definitely recommend Famous 5!

The Spicy chicken burger was nice and not too spicy but not a fan of the mayo this was abit eggy. The chips were no good, the chicken wings were just soggy and the chicken strips were cold and they looked like they had been sat there all day. I'd probably not rush back as its not consistent and the service is rubbish, they need a lesson in customer service.

First time when I brought a Burger, it was tasty. The second time I brought it wasn’t the same. I still ordered a few times after, and each time they lacked in quality and taste. Started off well, But like many others isn’t nice at all. It’s a shame you aren’t consistent. Won’t be ordering again. As I have some form of food poisoning now.

Took 35 minutes for a phone order collection and it was still wrong not once but 3 times wrong ! Food is good but seems nobody has any idea of what is going on. Avoid if possible plenty of decent places nearby

First time I had a burger from this place it was nice. Second time I went, they said 5 minutes for a chicken burger when I ordered and after 15 minutes I asked, he said at least 25 minutes because the burgers weren’t cooked yet. I asked for my money back and walked off. Should never have gone back the third time because the same drama started again. When I ordered they said 5 minutes. They took over 30 minutes and apparently they don’t do donner on chicken burgers like the first time I went. Despite the shop being full and customers waiting they prioritise delivery orders and will ignore your presence in the shop. I gave them 2 more chances and now I will not be going back. The chips had clearly been refried, as can be seen in the picture. Go to Deens or Florida. At least they know what customer service is.

Fresh food, but it took 1hr for my burger to get done. Can you believe that just a burger nothing else. When I asked why my burger is taking long they said "don't you want your burger fresh" i acn not believe that at all. 1 burger that is ridiculous. They are rude and need to be trained in how to deal with customers.

Burger was satisfactory. There was a long wait which wasn’t great just for 2 burgers and I didn’t enjoy hearing the owner pacing around, loudly shouting instructions at the workers about not serving a particular customer again for some reason. Seemed like a bit of a jobsworth and unshowered which wasn’t a good sign considering I was about to eat from his establishment.

After reading reviews & people comparing it to Miami crispy, i thought I'd give it a go! After trying it, i can confirm it was a bad experience. My beef burgers was dry an nachos was stale as hell. Also not even luke warm. Spicy wings cold! Spicy burger nothing above average, again luke warm, despite i collected order by waiting. Donner was some cheap quality full of small bones. I asked for lettuce to be separate but clearly refused! Come on, its not rocket science to put some salad separate. Also asked if i can get hot chilli sauce on my donner but yet refused! It seems like no pride in their service. A lot to be learnt! Usually businesses like that dont last too long. Learn to cater for customers needs! Thats how businesses succeed! Asked for my burgers to be cut in half, they said ofcourse. Despite i confirmed on collecting , is it cut, they said yes but guess what it wasn't. Had to run back in. It's evident that there's lack of pride in their food and service. I eat out a lot, but this nowhere reaches quality of Miami or top contender level. Sorry

Not bad for a local joint so far tried their donner meat and chips, and donner loaded burger meal its ok thats about it nothing beyond that chicken burger is good probably the best they offer from the rest. Millionaire milkshake its quiet a refresher does the job.

If you can't be bothered queuing at Miami, just head down here. Exactly the same burgers with the same names, same sauces, same staff, although the prices are a little cheaper and they have a more extensive menu. I went for a double tower burger. It's pretty basic, no fancy toppings, no fancy buns, but for the price you get a massive chicken burger with cheese and a hash brown, peri peri fries and a drink for £6. Ask for non-spicy if you can't handle spice. They'll give you a tub of spicy sauce/mayo so you can test it yourself. There was no queue when I went and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Parking is an issue, although there are probably plenty of spaces in the surrounding streets. Friendly staff, great food, highly recommended and will go again.
