Family Kebab House in North Norfolk

I had a take-away pizza, margarita with extra onions. Delivery was quick and pizza was delicious - I have their delivery very often and have ever been disappointed. I alternate between pizzas, burgers and kebabs- always delicious so no complaints from me.

Food is decent but over priced, muck up orders a lot, I say lacking in teamwork, portions are inconsistent very odd to be honest, I’ve been to worse places tho to be fair, very greedy with prices this ain’t a fine area in London.

We were drunk. It was late. Every few years, the urge to sink our teeth into something gnarly, dirty, and wrong-on-every-level, gets under our drunken skin. What the hell: let's get filthy. Let's have a doner. So, we headed to Coast Kebab...we opted for two kebabs: a meat doner and a chicken doner. Sadly, even though we knew we were in for a raunchy ride up the meat boulevard of broken dreams, these kebabs missed every naughty-but-nice button by a country mile. The doner meat was disgusting: dry, salty, tasteless. Even in my drunken state, I knew it was bad. That's an epic kebab fail. The chicken was no better. They cooked it into dry lumps of tasteless, horrible, nothingness. They then added the nastiest chilli sauce I have ever tasted. Just heat and the taste of old food. If they made it themselves, they need to buy some in. There was lots of it. It went in the bin. Sorry, Coast Kebab. You are yet another reason why Cromer is better known for its chips. Really poor, cheap, horrible, food, created by people who take no pride in what they serve. Just imagine: serving a proper shawarma - layers of delicious fatty lamb, served with a fresh salad, with a homemade dressing, cooked on wood chips or coals. Keep imagining, cos it ain't what they are serving here. To fail the drunk test, with a kebab, deserves a minus rating. Awful - and we are still hurting for a proper doner. Bleurgh!!

Lovely lads, great food. Free delivery to Sheringham if order £10 or over. The pizzas, kebabs. Chicken, burgers are delicious and the lads are always efficient and friendly. Wholeheartedly recommend,

Plenty of food good service on time was good fair price , can’t complain. 8 of us ate very well indeed , we all said we were happy with the food, we were early in ordering around 6 o clock .

Disgusting !!! Food arrived stone cold and totally inedible after 2 hours of waiting. Avoid at all costs !!!

Oredered chicken kabab and chips with chilli sauce. Quick delivery to campsite but food was poor quality and did not taste fresh or well cooked. Chicken was overdone and was dry and chips were low grade frozen frys. Soggy with chilli sauce. Can not recommend.

Food not great. ‘Chicken fillet burger’ not fillet, like shown in picture, instead a frozen burger fried up. Chips seemed to be refried. Not nice. All went in the bin.

Pizzas and kebabs are amazing, the staff were really polite and food came quick, was here for a week tried other places can say its the only kebab place i can recommend

Honestly disappointing, it turned up 15 minutes early that the only good part of experience. We got more chips than we asked for and got charged for them, the chicken in our food was over done and chewy, the pizza was burnt and all of the food was cold. Will not be eating from this place again.

The delivery came very fast, the food was really nice and hot. I am really happy with the service with coast kebab i have tried other places before but coast kebab is recommended by me :)

Used this place many times in 2020 and was fantastic, unfortunately looks as though it’s changed hands, small portions,inflated prices, ordered 2 x large kebabs with salad, on opening there was very very limited salad if you can call onion salad, AVOiD if poss and buy elsewhere, not wasting my hard earned money and being RIPPED OFF. Try other establishments near buy….

First visit in months (not eating out much due to the pandemic) and decided to go for a mixed kebab with chilli sauce. Noticed some of the food is different to how I remember, mostly the kofte kebab looks and feels different (texture similar to Paxo stuffing) and the chilli sauce feels like the sort you get from the bottle. Doner meat is still as good and better than the other kebab house in Cromer. For all I know, the place may have had a change of hands and changed suppliers or they may have had a supply issue with their usual suppliers at the time and had to go for the next best thing. Will be a while until I am likely to order from here again, but will give the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and give them another chance in the near future.

Me and a couple friends were hungry and decided to eat here the staff were very friendly and the food was nice and hot they made the food in front of us fresh and my friends had said that the kebab they got was hot and delicious I had the 9 inch garlic bread that was amazing I really enjoyed the food there and my other friends had ordered chicken and because we were friendly they put extra chicken in all our food that was ordered overall it is a good place to go However, we went there and felt as if the place wasn’t clean and hygienic after touching the chicken and giving to my friends the then got my garlic bread and proceeded to give that to me and luckily I am not a vegetarian but if there had been it would have been a bad situation so that is why I rated this 4 stars

Pizza was lovely, staff weren’t overly friendly but.. can anyone guess what this is meant to be? Potato wedges! 😂😂😂

Disgusting takeaway. Second time we have been now and the chips have looked brown and tastes awful. Pizza was soggy and the cheese tasted funny. Chicken was hard and the bugers are full of gristle. Don't bother.

Avoid placed order for delivery after 1.5 hours I called to see where it was and was told my ticket had been lost and they where them cooking it and I could have a 13 inch garlic and cheese as a sorry, arrived 2.5 hours later with no free garlic pizza, going down hill fast will not give them my money ever again

Pizza was soggy and bland chicken kebab was not cooked in the middle and Donna meat had bones in all together the worst food I have ever eaten and like most pizza take away in this area they only take cash Avoid at all cost

This place has really gone downhill, used to be delicious but now the foods barely edible. Used to be a regular customer but since the foods been a let down as of the last 8 months, haven’t been there as much and after this meal I won’t be eating their again.

Food was bland, over priced for what it is. Chilli sauce tasted like mango, it’s put me off kebabs for life. THANKS :)

So a few weeks ago had the menu put through the door thought seems ok we will give that ago. Last night came had placed a order at 8 was told the food will be delivered in roughly a hour. Thought ok it’s Saturday their obviously busy 1 1/2 hours later still no food rang be 25 mins the staff member on the other end wasn’t exactly helpful either. Ok wasn’t overly bothered keep with it it eventually arrived at 10:30 wasn’t impressed honestly refused to pay any where near full price for it driver said they were short staff and just tried to fob me off a bit Just told him you managed to phone me from outside so surely you could have phoned and said and we would have gone elsewhere. To top it off the order was wrong and food wasn’t even good so no more orders from me. Seems like it’s out of its depth and can’t manage

Has really gone downhill since our last visit. Meat was dry and tasteless and to make matters worse they mixed up our order when we went to collect it. Fortunately, or not as the case would be, it was our daughters order they mixed it up with so it was another trip out in the car after we had collected it to swap them. Consequently, most of the food was at best lukewarm.

Rang up for home delivery told 30 to 40 minutes an hour and a half later still no food no apology anything when delivery driver turned up all he said was nice pizza and walked off wont be using them again shocking attitude

Passed this take away every day for a week, never once saw anyone in the shop wearing face coverings, it’s like COVID never happened. Best avoided

Refularly get delivery maybe once a week. Latest one disgusting chicken raw in middle half order missing. Garlic Bread was warmed up from last night with cheese spread over top to disguise it. Don't use these overpriced cowboys unless you want food poisoning.

Ordered for delivery and asked for cheese on chips. Thought they would be separate to the chicken since we asked for this request, but that's not necessarily the problem. The problem we payed extra for it to get stuck on the lid and not be able eat it. Chips anyway were cold. We also ordered a pizza and it tasted of tuna rather than meat feast. My partner was quoted a price and it was different on delivery so the price hike was unexpected as well. We have eaten from here before with great service and food. So extremely disappointed today.

Regularly have a delivery of kebabs but the latest was disappointing. Although the quality was still as good unfortunately they've just increased their prices (be aware that the menu on here is out of date now). This is understandable in the current climate with Covid-19 as everywhere is finding it hard to make a living. What makes it hard to swallow though (excuse the pun) is that the size has dropped dramatically. Compared to a few weeks ago there was little salad in either of kebabs, the same applies to the meat and also the mushrooms in the chicken special. They also forgot the chilli sauce in one of the kebabs. Will try again in a few weeks. Hopefully this was a one off otherwise will need to go somewhere else

Me and my girlfriend went and we where stared at and felt uncomfortable. The chicken kebab was cold and the chips where soggy . The price was out of order for what you pay for . We found another kebab in town round the corner the next day and it’s was much more welcoming and there was seats and my doner kebab was hot fresh and Krispy , my girlfriend got a mix kebab and it was only a 10 quid and it was massive and that could of filled both of us easily. And the meat was well cooked . Personally I wouldn’t recommend coast kebab .

Visited friends in Cromer and didn't want to go out to eat so ordered a delivery. Food was good value and tasty, driver friendly so no issues.

I've ordered from Coast Kebab once before and it was brilliant - the staff were friendly and the order came within 20-25 minutes from Cromer to Sheringham. However, when placing another order recently the staff seemed confused as to how many kebabs I would like along with the different salad dishes I would want with each kebab. Not only were staff confused as to the number of kebabs but even had the cheek to ask me "You need to explain yourself better" or something along these lines. In turn, they priced the kebabs wrong according to their menu and then had the cheek to ask if I was looking at the menu - of course I was! When our delivery came the delivery driver was friendly and the food was great! It's a shame that the customer service aspect is letting the place down considering they have great food and it's a very popular place to eat for those travelling or staying in Cromer and surrounding areas.

As you can most probably see my last review couple of years ago was good but upon the last couple of visits sorry to say going downhill pitta bread not being toasted, less meat on each kebab and even being served raw chicken in 1 shame as now need to find a late night eat

To whom it may concern, I have just had the worst burger in my life, it has ruined not only birthday but my entire year. The sogginess of the bun was disgraceful, and to top it off the chicken was not only cold but dry and had no succulence what so ever. I shall not be returning, and will give you a bad name so others won’t experience the trauma that I have been through tonight. Coast kebab your a disappointment and give kebabs a bad name in Norfolk.

We live a few miles away and always have a free delivery. The Kebabs are probably the best I've ever had. They arrive hot, are on time and the boxes are always packed to overflowing.

Bit of a mixed bag really on this one . Always have delivery . Sometimes it’s cooked lovely other times it’s cooked badly . Chicken can be very tough sometimes and not always a great amount of food in the trays . It’s not perfect but it’s not rubbish either .

Ordered a meal for delivery i live 8 miles from the shop chicken was to hot to pick up and the wedges so hot and fresh delivery driver very friendly and on time this was one of many meals i have had all perfect

We go here every time we visit Cromer the kebabs are cooked fresh the mushrooms with there own garlic sauce and chilli are the best we have tasted

Conveniently placed next to the amusement arcade, one road back from the beach. Handy for a take away if you've had enough of fish and chips. Warmed us up away from the rain.

We only ended up in coast kebab because the queue was far to long in no1 cromer ( Fish and chips shops)

Con servicio grosero altivos. . . . El saludo fue pobre. No espero mucho de un kebab shop, excepto quizás una sonrisa y los brazos sin plegar. La comida era casi vale la pena la espera. Viendo ellos sirven a otros en una manera displicente asquerosa me hizo lamento darles mi dinero. También una conversación previa sobre una orden telefónica que era 'cuestionó 'fue provisto en forma inapropiada.

Called in whilst at Cromer, speedy service good menu selection and the good was good. Coast Kebab is also very well located too.

Had some chicken on Sunday from here it was around 4 o'clock they had been open for only one hour so the chicken should of been hot and moist But No it was barely warm and so dried up that the chicken meat was hard the skin was curled up and burnt slightly,

At a loose end for something to eat in cromer on a Sunday evening decided to try the kebab house. We were not disappointed, we had the special chicken and the normal chicken kebab (shish).

I don't normally resort to Trip Advisor but on this occasion it's necessary....

Family of six has takeaway. Donner meat was tasty but would have been better if we had been offered sauces. Burgers were good too. Chicken kebab also tasty. Staff very friendly and service was good. Chips were a let down a bit hard and crunchy.

This is the best kebab house ever,tried lots of others but this is by far the best. Chicken kebab,mixed house with extra chillies,yum😊

Tuvimos el especial kebab (cordero) con Shesh-Chicken aros de cebolla y champiñones ensalada. maltratada Lo suficientemente bien para tres personas con hambre. Su salsa de chili casero es fantástico. me trajo un extra de cartón a tener con algunos cangrejos frescos vestidos al día siguiente.

Que pedimos desde aquí y pocas veces y solo ayer me dijeron que este lugar ha dado 1/5 estrellas y ha dado una semana para solucionar este problema! Creo que he comido desde un lugar como que hace que mi piel crawl. Es mejor estar seguro que lo siento, el kebab es la carne seca y que casi siempre se olvida algo de mi orden.

lovely chatty chap serving, great burgers and kebabs, good sized portions , reminded me of the old hunger cure take out in London. Naughty but nice , popular with the locals, try it it won't dissapoint if you like burgers and kebabs !

I wouldn't feed my dog with the kebab they serve. Doner kebab taste like beef call soggy sitting in the pot at least for a week good luck to anyone have a taste of this one

went to show on the pier and this was the only take away that was open afterwards. Food was Ok but we were overcharged and the food was not excellent. It filled a hole but would not go back

Not the best takeaway I've ever had. I liked the chicken kebab but the other meals were vile. Th pizza was dripping in fat and my brother hated his chicken. We paid nearly £30 and it wasn't worth it at all.

The worst kebab I have ever had, mainly salad and cold kebab meat in a stale pitta bread, had stomach pains and spent most of the night on the toilet, if you are hungry, go somewhere else, avoid this place

I ordered 2 large donner kerbabs for home delivery and a portion of chips as I used to be a regular customer and they were normally good. He charged me 11.80 for what was supposed to be (LARGE) 2 small kerbabs and a portion of chips... I rang them back as soon as I got it and he said it was a large with an attitude when I knew full well this was a small.. I then went down to the kerbab shop and said I ain't happy with this for what I payed and ide like my money back... The reply I got in front of 2 old customers was oh she's always moaning so I said if that's the case then why every time I walk past your shop your always calling me to come in and waving?? He looked embarrassed then! I said I will order from the seafront kerbab from now on as ur. Attitude is crap!

A place like another. Didn't surprise me. I waited to much for have my food and always was a bit burn.maybe I wasn't lucky.

I use this place regularly and i can say that i have never had a bad meal. Great friendly service from Kes and the boys. Well done 5 stars.

They do a brillant chicken kebab always go when over staying at my parets and staff alway friendly and say hello when they see you in street .

.These guys really do know how to do Turkish cooking. The lamb is so good. The mixed kebab has so much food we shared and really struggled to get through it. Homemade chilli sauce is a revelation so full of flavour and a pleasant heat. Staff are so friendly and genuine brilliant thanks.

We ordered the special kebab meal for 2 and were absolutely delighted. Beautifully cooked, delicious taste and lots and lots of variety. If you like this kind of Turkish / Greek food I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Had many a night on the town in Cromer over the last 15 years or so, and many of them have included a late stop at "Family Kebab" - what can I say... sustenance when you need it.. to be honest we've never veered off the menu much beyond doner or chicken kebab but it's always been quality fayre. A plus point is you get your kebab and you can sit on the sea front and hear the waves!!! Back in the 90's they used to do a Rum Baba but them days are long gone. They do chicken and pizza but I've never had so can't comment.

The guys in this kebab shop are super friendly and definitely make THE best chicken kebab my boyfriend and I have ever had. Pizzas are okay, not amazing, chips good and can't go too wrong with the other fried food! We get ours delivered regularly!

I've been here previously,but last week they were offering everything half price.....bonus! Best kebab house I've sampled in Norfolk and I've had a few!

service was poor n the kebab was awful need i say more,not too sure bout hygiene in there either ok if your drunk and desperate for something to eat
