Falafel Corner in Cardiff

Lovely place to come for lunch. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is fresh and delicious. Great location, drinks selection and seating too. Would recommend to anyone looking for lunch in Cardiff!

Lovely little venue to go for a wrap and if you like Mediterranean , Greek type food this is the place to go. The Lebanese wrap was fantastic, and huge! Excellent choice of fillings. Drinks available as well.To me good value for money.

Really low quality. Cheap salad ingredients and canned food. Pre-made sauces from bottles. Terrible. My smoothie was just one of those pre-made mixes of frozen fruit that you can buy in a shop. £16 for a salad and smoothie.

Pretty thankful I couldn't eat a pasty from another place (they pour milk on them, why? A pale pasty is no crime) as I had a flatbread full of hummus and falafel with salad and sauce from this corner, so tasty! Huge! Great value! Friendly staff and quick service, real fast food. Next time I'm in Cardiff, I'm eating another flatbread from here.

Came in on a Sunday and had a lovely experience! I was served by a girl called Lily and was suggested the salad bowl and a mango smoothie. The food was delicious, healthy and filling. The service was delightful and the vibes of the shop is lovely. You’ve got yourself a loyal customer! Would recommend 🥰🥰

The wrap was nice but the girl serving me was a misery. I felt like she hated me from the moment I walked in there 😂 I was probably too white and alpha male for her or some nonsense like that.

I feel sorry for these guys, it's better than magic wrap across the road in price and quality that's for sure, but their menu looks like it was designed by someone after spinning around for 10 minutes and they mix their lettuce with leaves, it's a pretty unrefined decision to make in terms of texture but I'm sure it was an idyllic hipster concept to have come up with at the time 😏. They probably don't make half the sales they could do because most people are probably put off coming near or entering their store and even if they did fix that problem, their staff probably don't want to have to deal with the extra orders lol or well that's the impression I get. Also, the wrap bread is kinda bready, slightly staleish? I am going to assume the wrap breads themselves are packed with preservatives ... they don't crisp them up properly. My review is very generous, my review is taking in consideration that most of their customers are unrefined common people who eat mostly nothing but human fodder on a daily basis, they have no idea what good food is or what a good falafel wrap is, hence why there are so many 5 star reviews here, and the fact their competition is the lowest standard and most over priced falafel shop in the world (magic wrap) where they can't even tuck the bottom of a wrap most of the time, I'm not surprised people think Falafel Corner is "sooo gooood". Anyway I'm going again today. Probably for the last time, It's not a second chance, it's because I need a walk to burn my dad bod off and I want to subject myself to the spicy hummus for the first time 😬 call me sadistic. One line to summarise? It's fodder, but it's hipster fodder.

I’m sorry I don’t mean to seeem rude but I’m angry as I went there expecting frozen yogurt just to be told they don’t do that anymore and they only do smoothies for half of there smoothies to be out get rid of ur sign outside it false advertising!!!

My wife often goes here for lunch whenever she's working in Cardiff and raves about how great it is all the time, so when I was in Cardiff for a conference over the weekend I thought I would see what all the fuss was about. All I can say is "wow!". The food here is absolutely stunning! I'm not even a vegan or a vegetarian, but this has opened my eyes up to how delicious and amazing vegan food can be. The salads are HUGE and really filling (especially the Mediterranean platter). There's just such a difference from being full from fresh and nutritious food rather than cheap, fatty, fried carbohydrates. I didn't feel hungry again all day afterwards, plus I just felt 'better' in myself if that makes sense! It's like every single vitamin and mineral that your body needs gets topped back up. I don't come to Cardiff very often sadly, but whenever I do I'm sure as heck going to tie it in with getting lunch here! P.S. The staff were very kind and pleasant too, and especially patient for someone that didn't have a clue what they were ordering!

Absolutely gorgeous food, how they can fit so much into a Lebanese bread is beyond me! Sat outside listening to Krishna chanting just up the road. Lovely

Usually a good service. The last time one staff member tried to have me pay twice. Luckily another staff member pointed out there was a delay between pin and chip and the till. Still i checked my bank app to make sure I did pay. It showed I had paid.

A brilliant place to eat in Cardiff. The Lebanese wraps are fluffy and warm, the falafels are always great quality and they are always generous with the hummus and have a great range of guest hummus (the charred leek one many months ago being a personal favorite). Always very generous with fillings and you are guaranteed a good portion and great value for money. Staff are always friendly and often have a good chat with them, and there are a small amount of seats with a lovely view of Cardiff if you want to eat in. The mezze is also brilliant with great portions and a packed full of various tasty elements. Would always very highly recommend!

One of the greatest if not the greatest places to eat in Cardiff, the food is absolutely amazing, always fresh, friendly staff, it is cheap for the quantity of food you get, and all and all it's just amazing. I have been going there almost regularly for the past 2 years and the diversity and taste of the menu have made me always want to get more.

this was my first ever time and i can’t believe i haven’t been here before! this is now my new favourite place‼️ the owner is a lovely person made conversation with me asking about my A level work! i will be nicest place i’ve been too in a while! I dropped by on a visit to Cardiff to try the falafel since I'm a big fan. I had a falafel aalad and a smoothie. The hummus was delicious and you can add whatever you like from the salad bar. It was delicious and I will be back!! Thank you!!

I like this place, the food is amazing, but I got a bit disappointed today. The prices gone up quite high and I didn’t even get the topping that I paid for. I had a take away so noticed it only when I came back to work and opened the box. Be careful and check everything before leaving

I was in the falafel corner last week and honestly the falafel it’s so bad dry the bread it’s two thick the bread and the falafel it’s so cold man it was the worse falafel I have tasted

Excellent wrap. ✨ I've ordered a falafel wrap with special houmous, lettuce, carrot and chickpea salad, kuskus, tomato, cucumber and jalapenos with yogurt and mint, chipotle and hot chilli sauces. Just yummy 🤤

Had a lot of falafels in my time but this place wins the top spot ! Packed full with freshly made salads bursting with flavour at a more than reasonable price that’s baked you come daily (and I did) 👌

Ran in just before closing time needing something to eat after a late-running conference. They were happy to make me and my colleague a vegan mezze box each. Was very tasty and filling!

Wow the place looks very good. People even have room to sit and eat outside.l often walk past and I had been to Tesco. Coming out of Tesco one is directly opposite Falafel Corner. Seems lovely inside.

Really good falafel. Friendly staff and nice selection of salads and sauces to choose from. Was a bit disappointed that they were out of boxes when I went so I couldn’t get a hummus platter as I’d wanted, but the pitta was delicious. Would love an option to choose a wholemeal pitta as there was only white ones. Very vegan friendly, everything is vegan except some options to add cheese or sauces that contain egg, but everything is clearly labelled and the staff were very good at telling you if something wasn’t vegan. I’ll definitely be back for a hummus platter in future :)

I use to be such a big fan of this place! The salad bowl used to come in this big box and now it’s in a box half the size but still the same price… I also paid for extra guacamole that I never got… it’s only till I opened the box I realised that wasn’t included… it’s good to have lots of veggies, the only problem is a lot of it tastes pickled and the cheaper bits like cabbage is used to bulk out a lacking salad… the falafels used to be popping hot and fresh… you can tell it’s changed as it used to be so busy at lunch… I don’t think I’d be going back in a hurry

If I go to town, I get a falafel corner. Service is fast, even if there is a queue, and the food is consistently good. Experiment with the sauces to find your perfect combination. Garlic mayo and sweet chili is a great combo.

Falafel Corner were kind enough to cater for my organisation's annual meeting. They were professional and helpful and the food was unbelievably tasty and plentiful! I highly recommend Falafel Corner both to stop by and eat, and to deliver for larger meetings!

Good customer service and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend to try it out. Enough tables inside and outside. No need to book. Open from Monday to Sunday bit need to take note on site for opening hours as they vary. Dishes do cater for Vegans mainly.

REALLY great food here! I live somewhere between trying to eat healthy, and constantly craving junk food 😅. The falafel sandwich is as tasty as any burger, but much healthier. I ate there twice in the past week, once I went for the salad, the second time for the Lebanese pitta sandwich - both awesome, and I'd come again 👌

Lovely little vegan cafe in Queen Street. Airy & bright, with outdoor seating, good quality vegan food, although some options are NOT vegan, but are vegetarian, like feta or mayo. But no meat or fish on sale. The food is Middle Eastern / Mediterranean, and is absolutely gorgeous. Place seems very clean, and staff are helpful and courteous.

Great houmous platter with all the salad bits piled high. We loaded up on hot sauce and mint yoghurt and it was very tasty. The za'atar crisp breads were strange and interesting and very good with houmous. Great value for money for lunch or dinner as a picnic takeout or eat-in. In terms of customer service, the lady serving us didn't smile once but maybe she wasn't enjoying working on such a lovely warm day. Recommended.

Always make a stop here if I’m in town for a delicious wrap. Always freshly prepared and stuffed to the brim. Why the hell anyone would opt to go to subway when this is here is beyond me.

Delicious vegan wraps and staff are so helpful telling you exactly which sauces are vegan too! Every time I go here it’s better than the last it’s the same kind of setup as a subway but so much tastier.

Unfriendly staff, every time I go there I don't feel comfortable with those huge counter screen protectors. If you are a non-native speaker then you have to shout to be heard and repeat many times, because the staff don't "understand" what you say. Lebanese wraps are cold and unfresh.

One of the staff was really rude to me. The lebanese wrap was cold and even when I politely asked them to warm the wrap up I was told that they don’t have a microwave, even though she could have used alternative methods to warm it up. My last time to be in this place.
