I’ve bought a number of Too a good to Go bags from various Fabrique outlets and sometimes the contents are good and other times not so good. This one was truly terrible- so terrible that most of it got thrown in the bin when I got home. Basically two separate halves of a Mr Bread loaf. I’ve never had such a lack of variety and won’t be using this store again

We popped in to get out of the rain during our market visit. This was the first place with a spare table. We were delighted to discover that, yes, those really were cardamom buns in the window. With that, we were transported to Sweden. The buns were excellent. We had seconds. We bought saffron buns to take home. We had a coffee, and another. So nice to enjoy fika in London. Downsides? Well it is small and the tables and chairs are spartan and not comfy at all - not a place to linger. The service was polite but they were busy, and the stress was showing a little. Still, would go back for those buns.

We found this shabby chic bakery just after our hotel breakfast, bought one cardamom bun to share and were absolutely sold to this small bakery. Their coffee is one of the best as well, full strong flavour no bitterness, bliss! As we had to queue up at our hotel for mediocre breakfast, we left the queue and went to Fabrique for cinnamon and cardamom buns in the morning. Beautifully made buns, full of flavour without the surplus sugar that most other buns have. We will return every time we are in this neighbourhood.

Possibly the best sourdough bread I have ever tasted. Not cheap but half a giant loaf was around £5. Would recommend going out of your way to visit.

I am not over-exaggerating when I say that Fabrique is an incredible bakery. I decided to try it with a friend based on some rave reviews and we were absolutely happy with our choice to try it. The cinnamon buns came especially recommended, but by the end of my time in London I had gone back and tried their saffron bun as well. I was initially expecting something more like an American cinnamon roll (which is great, don't get me wrong), but Fabrique's buns are, in my opinion, even more incredible. They are like little wrapped rolls containing fragrant, spiced layers. They are dense and sticky, and so freshly made that you feel like you really treated yourself to something good. Fabrique's cinnamon (and saffron!) buns are incredible - if you're in the area definitely check it out!

Not a huge choice of eating, but superb homemade buns - and utterly sensational house cooked bread (I brought several loaves back to Portugal). It's tiny, intimate, even a candle on the table whilst having a coffee. And yes, that too is top notch.

Stumbled upon this place hidden behind a random market stall selling tshirts and was not disappointed. From the outside you could see it was small (but had a few tables free) and all the breads and pastries are hand worked and made the way they should be! I had a smoked salmon baguette type sandwich and an Americano and loved it! The lady serving checked I was ok with seeds and raisins in the bread which I was and happily served me. The food was great! I shall have to come back for a cinnamon bun next time

Stopped in for a coffee and pastry. This place seems to be more about bread as there were few choices for pastries. Had a cardamom bun which was excellent, chocolate croissant was perfect. Cappuccino was just okay.

Having fallen in love with the outstanding ‘Bageriat’ Swedish bakery in Covent Garden, I was quite happy to find this one close by which seemed just as good. The young girl working behind the counter was friendly enough but she didn’t push the boat out with her customer service. I opted for the cardamon bun and sat down to have it. I love cardamon and couldn’t wait to try it. It was not what I expected - very peppery along with the cardamon flavour. It wasn’t as pleasant as I had imagined it would be. I also tried the cinnamon bun. It was good and those who love cinnamon will enjoy it but there’s a lot of bread inside once one picks off the crispy bits and for me it wasn’t what I had expected. These are bread buns, twisted and shaped quite beautifully but just doughy bread on the inside. I paid £6 for both buns which is very expensive but I suppose it’s unique and the price reflects it. I think I will stick with the other bakery which actually has much more on offer. It is also expensive but the products are just incredible and so the price tag seems better suited. This bakery was expensive and disappointing which is never a good combination.

We first stumbled across Fabrique one week end and had a very pleasant coffee and cinnamon bun, and took home the apricot bread (or maybe it was the ham one). I have been back many times since to buy a loaf - walnut first, but tried the cranberry and rye - and it' just yummy back home - try toasted with either butter or honey. Cardamon buns just delicious. In summary, go there and go back again.

We were at Fabrique for breakfast before exploring Covent Garden. Although they do not have a big menu the buns and sandwiches are really delicious and they have good coffee. Ideal for a quick breakfast before exploring the area.

We loved our lunch at Carrots and Daikon yesterday. I had the garlic tofu Banh mi and my husband had the tofu lunch box. The baguette forming my Banh mi was the perfect combination of crunch with a soft centre and the tofu was nicely garlicky. What really made our day were the ice creams! The chrysanthemum and mango ice cream was such a fantastic combination and the matcha and pistachio was delicious too. We then bought one of each of the other flavours and I must admit that the combinations are creative genius! Who would’ve thought that mint choc chip would go with coffee and raspberry and jasmine tea with its floral notes would hit the spot?! I thought that the coconut and lemongrass was super refreshing too. Thank you to the friendly folk at C & D.

Opened last year or early this year..very pleasant and airy bar / cafe, which if you're arriving early for a meeting or finishing early, is a nice place to chew over the errors in your recent ritual meeting! As usual in London all a bit pricey but very convenient after a meeting in the Temples. Very bright and tastefully decorated with the usual good staff.
