Came with a friend on a Wednesday evening, greeted by Kelly who was lovely and helpful food was amazing along with the drinks would definitely come again!!

Came in for 2 course lunch menu £13 a head. Amazing value. Food absolutely delicious, cocktails fab and service great. Had chilli mushrooms and chicken yakitori starters and then katsu chicken burger and salmon yaki soba. Beers, Prosecco and a lovely limoncello cocktail. Will definitely be back and special mention to Irving for the service. Only drink photos sorry food was eaten before we realised

We were well looked after from the moment we walked into the restaurant. Tasha and Kelly looked after us well.

Tasha was amazing!! We had a large group in for a Christmas party and Tasha and all the staff were incredible and everyone had a great night!

I placed my order through justeat at 16:10. The delivery ETA kept on increasing and after about two hours of waiting I started calling the restaurant; no one was picking up. Eventually at 19:30 the restaurant picked up and I spoke to a very polite gentleman who informed me that my food has been sitting there since I placed my order as justeats failed to send a driver. He then went on to explain the issues that they've been having with their service. He mentioned that if someone did eventually show up to pick up my food, they would cook it again fresh. At 21:19 my food was eventually delivered, stoned cold, absolutely solid, inedible. I threw it straight into the trash. I'm not sure who is to blame here but regardless, this has never happened to me before with any other restaurant. Ultimately, I lost £20, and was delivered inedible rubbish 5 hours after placing my order.

I walked into Fabric by flook last year and haven't looked back since. Exceptional food which is always fresh. Lovely chilled atmosphere with comfortable seating. And the friendliest staff you'll find in Dunfermline. Bonus points for the reasonable prices, too. LOL! Shout-out to lovely Kelly who always says a nice hello and goodbye to us, even if she's not our tables server. Long may Fabric be in Dunfermline 😋🍣🍥🍜

First time my wife and I tried here. Really first class service from Irving even though he was on his own in the bar/restaurant. Food was delicious and not rushed. Will defo be back again.

It was early so not a huge amount of atmosphere but food was lovely and service was impeccable. Attentive but not intrusive would definitely come again

Visited a few weeks ago and was not disappointed. Food was absolutely delicious and so were the amazing cocktails. Irving really made the night even better with his great hosting, we really felt looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Can't fault anything and can't wait to go back

The food and service are always outstanding. It’s nice to see the same staff when we visit, and when I rebooked my extra notes were taken into consideration. Kelly and Martin took care of us all evening and nothing was a bother. They were super-attentive but without that pushy aspect. That’s difficult to get right but they absolutely have it nailed. We love Fabric and keep returning because of the fine food, excellent staff and lovely atmosphere.

Lovely drinks, the only thing letting it down is the decor it’s like sitting in a dental waiting room. Staff were really friendly.

We both ordered rice dishes, one vegetarian. Both very dry and bland. No seasoning. Nothing special. Very little sauce. Over priced for what it was.

Such a find. A delicious 3 course meal with a fabulous bottle of Viognier for such a fair price. The service was outstanding.

Our first time in Fabric and definitely not our last. We opted for the 3 course dinner and a bottle of wine offer. A great range of dishes we could choose from and the food was excellent. It was a Monday night and very quiet in the restaurant but I have still given 5 stars for atmosphere. This is mainly due to our server, Irving, who was very welcoming, chatty (but not in your face). This made us feel very comfortable and it was apparent when other customers arrived that it his way with people. All in all, a lovely dining experience and would recommend.

I was really looking forward to finally trying the menu here. Food was great. Pricing was good. Portions sizes were decent. Service was so poor. Staff were lovely, but we were waiting forever on drinks and food. A not too busy Thursday evening, I'd be worried how they would cope fully booked. Unfortunately I'm not sure we'll return due to this.

A lovely surprise! Went here for dinner on a stopover in Dunfermline and was blown away by the food and service. 3 courses and a bottle of wine for 2 people costing £45 what are they thinking? (ie do they make any money?!!) Food was lovely. Service was great with food arriving quickly and Kelly looked after us very well. We had the black garlic ramen and salmon yaki soba as mains and both were very tasty. The only thing I found slightly weird was the decor which was a bit like a hair salon - at the same time it's very distinct and made me remember the place (maybe that's the goal lol!). Very good and will definitely return when we come back to Dunfermline!

Lovely and very attentive welcome and service. We enjoyed the 2 course Menu, and the Japanese dishes are delicious! Absolutely worth testing!

Had a great afternoon at Fabric with friends for my daughters 18th birthday. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. As there was so many of us we had the great experience of dining in the private room upstairs and given dedicated waiters, Martin & Irving. Both looked after us all ensuring food and drinks kept flowing. Thanks so much for giving us a great experience.

The food and drink is outstandingly good! The ambience and service has been outstanding. Mari has been attentive and so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the restaurant. Excellent food and service!

What to say? Well, we were absolutely blown away by the service, food & overall experience. We came as a group of four and were seated in a quiet area which allowed us to chat freely without the need for shouting over one another. The food was spectacular, even for someone who is a little unsure of trying new things. We were served by multiple people and all of them were just brilliant. Grateful to the bartenders for making us of a Raspberry Bramble. Also, big shout out to Mari who made two of the four (Yorkshire people) feel so welcome here in Scotland. Will 100% return - thank you so much.

The food is amazing, truly full if taste and as i dont like food to be to spicy hot, the ramen was amazing, cant beat value for money 3 courses for £45. Service second to none, Marie was brilliant x we will be back soon.

We had lunch at Fabric and was very pleased with the whole experience. The barman / waiter was very pleasant and attentive and the food both in terms of taste and price was very good. We would definitely visit again if in the Dunfermline area.

Myself and my hubby popped into Fabric a few weeks back, in search of lunch (vegan options practically non existent in a couple of nearby eateries..) We were greeted by Martin, who made us feel really welcome. He also spoke to the chef about vegan options and made nothing look like an effort, he is a great face of your business. The next time we visited we brought a couple of friends along, who were also very impressed with the surroundings, food and the team. What struck us was the constant stream of smiles from Mari and Kelly, along with natural, non-invasive chat, all perfectly balanced against a busy backdrop. That's a skill in itself! The food that evening was beautiful, and so generously priced. However, the main thrust of this review is to praise the team members who looked after us ( another shout out to the bespectacled chap who was so particular about his place-settings- a man after my own heart! Just the kind of attention to detail we have seen each time we have visited.) Needless to say, we'll be returning! Thank you, Fabric Team!

Dined here last night as a celebration of my grandson's exam results. Couldn't have been better. Food, service and comfort. Kelly was such a fantastic server.

Kelly who served us was fabulous, could not have done more for us. Food was amazing and will definitely be back.

Kelly was great, wonderful birthday lunch! Would definitely recommend the two course lunch. Chefs offered free desserts for the kids as they couldn’t offer a salad, very nice staff.

Mari and Kelly really looked after us where just lovely friendly, food absolutley amazing fresh spicing was just on the money , cocktails are always a winner here and you manage to make mocktails exciting x definitley come back all round amazing x the vibw comfortable with that style factor so many get wrong but you have it x

My fiance and I are new to Dunfermline and were enticed by the 3 courses for 2 people including a bottle of wine for £45 total (an absolute bargain in this day and age) so decided to book Fabric one Saturday evening. Both blown away with 1. The food choices available, 2. The wine selection available for this offer and 3. The staff. We were served by Mari and Kelly and both were so polite and welcoming. Already planning our next trip back as we had some food envy with the table next to us who’d ordered 3 plates of the sushi 😍. We both cleared our plates with each course. Although we didn’t order any, the cocktail menu sounded very tasty too, so will be trying a few out on our next trip. Have even recommended friends and family to try it out, what a gem of a find!

First time visit and the surroundings are very pleasant, staff were attentive without being overbearing. However the food was disappointing. Very salty to the point we couldn't eat it. Would try again being forearmed about saltiness.

Out for our first kid free anniversary, place was great. Servers Irving and Kelly really looked after us. Food was great, cocktails awesome. Loved it.

We had gyoza and yakitori to start then steak and blak garlic ramen followed by cheesecake and chocolate torte. It was all phenomenal! Can't recommend highly enough!

Not very impressed with the Teriyaki Salmon Rice bowl. A tiny drizzle of Teriyaki sauce is not sufficient sauce for fish and rice.

Food was underwhelming. Chicken was very poor quality. Could only eat rice and sauce. Batter undercooked. Really disappointed. Food came early which makes me think it’s not as fresh as described

Amazing cocktails, our server Mari was lovely!

We came to celebrate a big birthday we were the only table for most of our time there we asked on the reservation if there was any special things they could do to help us celebrate unfortunately they didn’t even say happy birthday to the birthday boy, the staff weren’t that attentive and we weren’t blown away by the food. We left quite disappointed.

Visited here for the first time yesterday for lunch. Food was delicious and the lunch deal was really reasonable! Cocktails were very tasty too. Will definitely be back.
