Had a drink here and the ciders and beers are good with a lot of variety. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Wow was treated to a mothers day lunch havent been in such a long time was very busy as expected we ordered at the bar and the food we received very sharply. The Mushroom Rissotto was so delicious and fresh and my partners burger looked immense he was stuffed to say the least. Really good vibe in the place everyone we spoke to was very friendly reasonably priced cant wait to go again very soon.

Great little family run hotel. Undergoing a bit of renovation in places but that didn't detract from the stay. Good breakfast and very friendly staff and locals.

This is a very nice small hotel. The rooms are immaculately clean and well decorated as is the breakfast/ lounge. Excellent breakfast and a good choice. Very friendly staff.

Great Hotel for for families or couples , a short walk to the sea front , shops and other eateries . Rather tired looking from the outside , but full of warmth and atmosphere on the inside , great pub with good ales and food at the weekend . Hotels like this are disappearing , but this one is well worth a visit .

Stayed here for 3 nights. They were honest from the start and said there was no chef at present. However, they mentioned the other eateries in the area, which was helpful. They did do cooked breakfasts in the morning though which were top-notch. The room was comfortable and quite cosy, well heated and it was freezing out so nice to come back to a warm room. It's an old building. Therefore, no double glazing, so lots of condensation in the mornings and left the room smelling a little damp. They did come in every day to clean this and wipe the windows. The bathroom was ok. There's a lovely deep bath however the water pressure was so low it would have taken at least 45 minutes to an hour to fill it and then it would have been cold due to taking so long to fill. The room was at the back of the building, and considering how busy the pub got in the evenings, we couldn't hear it where we were. If you're just down to visit family, it's a good little bolt hole, not so much for a mini break where you want that little bit of luxury.

Um. It's an old, tired, building, so bear in mind. Staff are lovely and friendly. Breakfast cooked well. No meals available at time of visit so take note. Bedroom as clean as necessary..

The reason for the 3 status on the room was that the mattress was so old that when you sat down on the bed, the mattress squashed down flat to the bed base,couldn't get comfortable but thankfully the room also had a single bed so I slept on that which was a little better.

One not to be missed. Popped in for a pint. The staff are really friendly. There was a band on with dancing which was nice to see. Massive outside space and great in the summer I bet.

Popped in for food and a drink. Unfortunately the had coffee and cake for £5 but not alot else. The staff were friendly and generally it was a good atmosphere.

Stayed for one night. Really clean, comfortable and friendly. We had a drink or two in the bar in the evening. Lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked.

Clean, comfortable room, convenient location and a fairly decent breakfast the following morning. Unfortunately however, the staff were not great. After waiting for 15 minutes, the woman at reception treated our arrival like an inconvenience and thrust the card payment machine at me without smiling or saying much of a word. The woman at breakfast asked if we'd like tea or coffee once we'd sat down, then pointed us to the self service facilities in the corner. I thought she was joking. On the bright side, good WiFi, quiet hotel and a great mattress. Bathroom could have done with shower gel.

Stayed 2 nights B+B over the August Bank Holiday in 2 rooms. Easy check in with a very warm welcome. Both rooms were lovely, nice decor, crisp bedding on comfy beds, decent bathrooms, good showers, plenty hot water. Lovely hot cooked breakfast, juices, cereals, plenty of tea and coffee. Lovely lady served the breakfast. Pub and garden 2 minute walk to the seafront. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again

Opted to stay at the Eyre Hotel to support local run services. A perfect location, the room was fine & staff were lovely. There was not many restaurants with a good plant-based/vegan menu open as it was Monday. Not much choice on Eyre Hotel menu so both my daughter & I went with the pasta dish. It was awful, overcooked & dried in tomato sauce. We couldn’t eat it. How hard is it to cook a basic pasta dish!! Complained and server said he would inform the chef. We waited & waited & nothing or nobody appeared. Dreadful customer care. Breakfast not much better. Luckily I had brought my own plant-based milk as there was none. No avocado left & no non-diary spread for toast. It’s shame because catering for plant-based diets is easy. In Seaton again beginning of Sept & it is with regret that I will be staying at the Premier Inn. At least I’ll get fed there.

Have never left a bad review before but after this horrendous meal I couldn’t not warn others. Came for a family meal, was first told there were no peas for the kids meals and that there was no alternative. 2 pies were brought out and both burnt to a crisp, couldn’t believe they thought it was acceptable to bring this food out to paying customers. When asked, the waitress said they usually looked like that. One of the kids meals was then brought out which was meant to be fish Goujons - shocking and no fish in sight. Told them not to bother bringing the rest of the food out and got our money back. Appalling.

They need to get their food offering sorted. Having given a food order at the bar (2 pies) was then told that the kitchen had been really busy and they had run out of everything apart from pizzas. Other customers were eating meals from the main menu and other orders were brought out. To be fair, the pizzas were fine but it seems from other reviews these issues have been ongoing for some months. We first went in as they still have Greene King signage outside (hiding behind it?) and expected the standard corporate menu having eaten in another of their pubs in a neighbouring village the previous evening. Surprising that GK have not asked for their signs to be removed. Whatever the issues they're having with staff etc., it's not a great customer offering.

Despite the sign outside saying "Food all day' there was none available on both days we visited...no reason given either. they turned away dozens of customers too. The main bar is cozy and dog friendly which was good. The prices are pretty steep though......but there is very little by way of alternative

The portion size was very small, not a vegetable to be had, even ran out of peas. Interesting combination of a small meat pie chips salad and gravy. NO desserts at all !!! If this is the service you get on a Saturday evening goodness only knows what normal service is. Went to Freddies fish shop to fill up "excellent " Will not be coming back.

Nice venue for an evening or afternoon beer. Bar staff friendly and helpful. We sat outside as the weather was kind and had a nice buzz and lights into the evening.

The Eyer Hotel.. Hotel was the most friendly & Welcoming Hotel..& Dog friendly in the area . We really enjoyed the Eyer hospitality thank you... They had an amazing Shanty singers in the afternoon loved them great atmosphere ❤

Absolutely shocking place....stayed 2 nights...breakfast was terrible and room was leaking rain water in the bathroom...didn't need the shower...asked for the owner but got told they were to busy ...quiet pub because there was no customers...prices to high on beer and they don't do food...definatly wouldn't stay again .... Absolute s*** hole

Just paid £11.40 for two average coffees and two kids fruit shoots mind blown…… no words, since when is it acceptable to charge £2.50 for a fruit shoot! Violated! Go elsewhere (like Tescos and then go home)

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was comfortable but unfortunately above the kitchen so was woken up when kitchen extractor was turned on for breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was fantastic and lots of it.

Staff lovely but that's all that this place has going for it. Dirty rooms, small uncomfortable double bed. The whole place is grotty. No avocado available and the poached eggs were cold in the middle and still raw, toast wasn't toasted and the sea food...

Friendly, welcoming pub. Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch, freshly cooked, potatoes were excellent and the cauliflower cheese was cooked to perfection (loads of cheese). Beef was perfect and the nut roast was the best I’ve tasted!

There are not many pubs in seaton so we tried this for a bite to eat. They tried their best and the food was ok, but the pub has a very strange atmosphere, with all kinds of different groups. The bar lady was rude, although the landlady friendly. The customers, when I was in there made it feel like a Weather spoons on steroids. The bar in Star Wars came to mind.

Had a meal here yesterday. Couldn’t book a table but as the weather was good we sat outside. Service was okay but we did ask for more vinegar as we were only given one sachet and I am still waiting for it to arrive. Food was good and apart from not getting the requested vinegar service was okay

Been on holiday to Seaton this week and had a great time but must say the only disappointing bit about the week was our visit to the Eyre Court Hotel. I went with my family including my dad and his partner (who live in Seaton). The hotel had stopped doing food at 7pm so we got the children some chips from the shop next door. We were drinking in the pub garden (7 of us) and was approached by a very rude ginger haired guy who worked here demanding we take the food elsewhere ‘right now!’ Now I understand that this may be the policy but he was so rude I was completely and utterly shocked by this. When we asked for some plastic cups we were then told we were not welcome back!! My dad (who is 64) was mortified! There was absolutely no need for this aggressive behaviour as we were moving on as asked. As we were leaving we saw another couple eating chips in the garden. They were approached and asked if they would like to finish their meal in the lounge!! They were obviously locals and therefore was given preferential treatment. Having spoken to a few people this week, I understand that this is normal behaviour from this hotel, particularly from the rude ginger man. Lots of people said they swerve this hotel in favour of the Malt house next door. Such a shame We will never return here.

I had a table booked for 8 people last night to celebrate a birthday in the family, the menu was a joke being a mixture of one starter (soup and a roll) and about four main courses, if you could call them "mains" when I explained to them that this is not what is advertised on their website, the response was no better than a " tough". Fortunately we got booked into a far better establishment locally at the last minute and left. They didn't even apologies. I would not recommend this place.

We came here last year and returned this year for it to become our pub of choice in Seaton. This year we arrived to find the patio area had been refurbished with solid wood decking, seating, benches and tables. This is a huge improvement on what they had before and gives a lovely space to drink in the sun.Children and dogs are made welcome both outside and inside and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Ideally located in the centre of town so it’s a great place to visit for a drink after the beach.

Always a super atmosphere here. Haven't been for a while but it was just as friendly as I remember it being.

This place is a disgrace. It is in need of a total refurbishment. How they can charge the money they do is appalling. Wallpaper gaping, mould, dirty mouldy showers, stains on the cheap carpet. Poor breakfast...shocking!

Don’t normally like Greene King pubs but at the Eyre Court they serve a decent pint of Otter bitter so their forgiven. This is a friendly pub with a decent atmosphere and pretty maintained inside and out. They have recently built a nice sitting area outside which is a great place to watch the world drift by.

An all day opening pub for people who want to drink all day, and those in the building trade.Friendly service, good beer, lots of outdoor seating looking over the high street. It’s not really for families, but it’s friendly and fun when you need that drink.

Absolutely horrible, rooms are a joke, food came wrong, cold and hopelessly late, and the live music did not turn up AGAIN !? I'm beginning to think that these people are actually just advertising live music acts to get us mug punters in there under false pretenses....!?

Came here for a drink with my partner, well.. it took ages to get served, the bar was just full off people dancing to the live singer, he was okay. The female toilets weren't very sign posted and to get to them you had to walk through the 'dance floor' which was very small and limited and some man even tutted at me for getting in the way. I didn't eat here as I can't imagine anyone being able to sit down and have a nice meal with all the dancing and noise. Could be a lovely pub but looks like somewhere that the locals come for a party. The pub opposite is much calmer.

We stayed 1 night at the Eyre court we have never been to Seaton before it was quite quiet as out of season but we had a very warm friendly welcome.Good size rooms & we had an excellent breakfast lots of choice too, overall very friendly good priced place to stay.We especially liked the bar area friendly staff didn’t have to wait for a drink & there was a good singer on Friday too thank you for having us

Popped in here several times, for a drink and then also for lunch. Good atmosphere, friendly staff. A good size portion of food. Good price. A local pub for getting together and chatting.

Amazing meal and wonderful hospitality. We will definitely be returning very soon. The steak was cooked to perfection and the fish was the tastiest I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant

We are a small family of three, my husband eats gluten free, I’m vegan and my son eat’s well most things, but is quick to criticise if he doesn’t like something. Well I can honestly say we couldn’t fault Eyre Court. I had and excellent vegan vegetable curry, my husband and son enjoyed two steaks which I was assured were delicious. We sat in the newly refurbished conservatory and although it was a quiet evening the restaurant has a lovely homely feel. It was lovely and warm, the staff were very attentive and we will definitely return. The new management have really made a difference to this pub, it is in a great location in Seaton, it also is a hotel so excellent for holiday makers.

We had a great time at the Eyre Court. The buffet was excellent, really tasty, good quality and plentiful. It exceeded our expectations significantly; good job, will definitely go back for dinner a some time.

Generous portions, good pub grub, tasty and piping hot. We ate in the bar area as the restaurant was completely empty. Very reasonable prices.

Pub mit B&B.; 2 min zum Kies-Strand. Netter kleiner Ort mit vielen Ausflugszielen in der Umgebung. Günstige und regelmäßige Busverbindungen in die Nachbarorte. Ruhig. Im Pub wöchentlich Livemusik. Die kostenlosen Parkplätze wurden z.T. von den Pubbesuchern und den Besitzern selbst belegt, so dass die Hotelgäste z.T. auf die Straße ausweichen mußten. Der neue Wirt hat keinen Überblick, sehr chaotisch. Sehr unaufmerksam. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Das Bad muß nun aber dringend renoviert werden. Die Athmosphäre im Restaurant hat nachgelassen. Das Frühstück ist englischer Standart. Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht mehr. Wir waren schon öfter hier, überlegen aber, uns beim nächsten Besuch eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen.

First visit was on a busy Monday night as nothing else open in town during August. Fabulous food all served very well.

Whilst staying in Seaton, we chose this hotel on arrival to have our first evening meal and were more than pleased with the pleasant service and delicious food.

Very pleasant and in a good location. Good parking and internet available. Room we had was average and suited our needs. Meal service available but not on Sunday night, so missed out. A Bit cheaper than most in the area but not much.

Booked a table ahead for 5 people for a Sunday Roast, lovely atmosphere and great service, staff were very polite and welcoming. Food was delicious and cannot fault anything. Wide selection of vegetables to complement the beautifully cooked meat. We decided on a dessert too again we were not left disappointed. Thoroughly recommend and will return if we are in the area again.

Was in with my friends who came on holiday and having not much choice due to busy timing we ended up here. Burger bun was hard as a rock, salads blend and chicken very dry. It’s a shame really coz the place is nice and the staff also very sweet and atmosphere was ok also.

Visited on a nice sunny day. It was busy and took a while to order food, but service was with a smile and the staff were pleasant. As it was so nice we sat outside (inside was too warm). Sadly, the seating area is alongside the car park which when we visited was quite busy. We had to share our meal with exhaust fumes and Seagulls that were picking food from uncleared tables. Whilst we waited for the food we could study the filthy conservatory with rotting frames - though to be fair, I could not comment on the interior. Food was OK, but nothing special. But I should add, we spent a while looking around the time for a place to eat, and this place looked better than most.

Went here for a drink on 2 occasions. The staff were pleasant but it was not my type of pub. The lady singer was good one evening. It is a hotel and has a restaurant but we did not eat there.

Excellent fish and chips, quickly served, and one of the best we have had. But beware; it was served with mushy peas which was not to everyone's liking. This is a comment though, not a ccomplaint, as eating them was not compulsory!

We had a lovely meal on aour last night in Seaton. Staff very friendly and food wonderful. Would recommend it

The food choice served in this place is awful. The choice is very limited, and they don’t even have any menus. My wife went for the piri piri chicken, which was served with some kind of sauce on it. The waitress then came over with a small pot of something 10 to 15 mins later, and said they’d forgotten to give us the piri piri sauce! So, we never really knew what the original sauce was on the chicken. I had the beef madras, and it was appalling. The beef was all gristle. Needless to say, we both left most of our meals. The whole place is stuck in some kind of time warp, and is in desperate need of refurbishment. They should knock the whole place down and start again. I can honestly say this is the worse place I’ve ever eaten. I would have given this zero stars, but have had to give it 1 star in order to place this review.

We visited this venue for a drink while staying in seaton for a couple of days. We used the Bar area which was great. The lady who served us was very friendly and the quality of the beer was excellent and not over priced. We did not eat here so we can not vouch for the food however judging from the other services i would have no reasons to doubt its quality.

Well, I have only been here twice, so there is not a great deal I can say, but one thing I CAN say is that the live music here on every Sunday is absolutely EXCELLENT !

We had a super steak dinner for £10 including a glass of wine.The staff were very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our meal. There is a lot of choice on the menu. It is a pub, restaurant and a Hotel.
