Exhibition Hotel in York

A really nice, quaint pub just outside the city walls of York. The decor is beautiful with plenty of seating inside and out. There are plenty of drink choices and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend visiting here when in York! ☆☆☆☆☆

Nice pub just outside the walls with a large beer garden. Service is friendly and a great selection of drinks.

We had a great stay at the Exhibition. So close to York City Centre. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room whilst not necessarily big was clean, perhaps a trifle tired in decoration but that is being a bit picky. The room was on a busy room and so we were woken early with traffic but to be honest that didn't affect our stay all that much. Can recommend this hotel.

It was a hot night. Don't stay in Victoria room as no air circulation.

The staff is super nice, the food and the location are very good. The rooms are a bit dated, but that's the charm of the small town. We felt very comfortable.

Good atmosphere. Busy when we were in but not overcrowded

Descent sized room. All knocked into one room by the looks of where the entrance is. Staff were friendly and polite. Lots of photos on the walls. Usual tap beers and a few real ales available. Really nice place. Well worth a visit. Nicely decorated. Enjoyed my visit.

Excellent couple of days here. All the staff were friendly, room comfortable. Hearty breakfast. Free parking was a bonus.

This has got to be the nicest pub/hotels we have stayed in. Superb location in centre of York. The staff are the nicest bunch of people you could wish for on your visit. Really amazingly well cooked breakfast. Clean comfortable rooms. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Will only stay here when we visit again. Thanks for a great stay.

Only went in for a couple of beers . But was nice

Just returned from a long weekend @ the exi, ideal location for city centre easy car parking. Always a warm welcome from Rose & staff. Lovely breakfast & very efficient service. Rooms are comfortable & warm, the only thing you could do with is some coat hooks or somewhere to hang coats to save putting them on backs of chairs. Thanks for a nice stay, see you in May.

I have been in all the other close by pubs but no recollection of this one..so Booth and Madge insisted we visit. A Cask Marque pub advertising 7 cask ales although I could see only 4 plus a cider. Had a Black Sheep bitter for the first time in many years. Not a fan, quite bland. The pub itself is a gem and wraps around the ornate central bar. Love the pub if not my choice of beer. Madge likes her Madri, nice and cold.

Cannot fault this place free parking and free breakfast choice from menu will be back in november 😋

Good food and atmosphere. Excellent location

First time in a long long while. Traditional decor . Spot of live music and a pint of Brew York. What was not to like. Music not over powering so could easily have a conversation . Enjoyed the music and the pint, hopefully wont be decades before my next visit.

Interesting range of four Cask ales, well kept. Cosy and pleasant atmosphere.

Discovered this whilst waiting to go to theatre. Friendly service. Good sharing platters. Couldn't see a child's menu per se but sharing platter saved the day.
