Amazing food. Very fast serving. Recommended 100%

Had to buy my meal twice as the first time it didnt arrive, even though it had been marked as being delivered. Food is always great, when it arrives. Nothing against the restaurant, but the Just Eat delivery drivers and Just Eat itself.

Tried the fish and chips. The chips are one of the best in town for me. Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The fish is not as satisfying. Portion is not that big. Flavor is good.

food was so good the chicken tikka burger was to die for

burger was good, but next time put the wedges in a foil box to keep them warmer, garlic bread was ok.

Only taken fish and chips, regulars are very small and oily , fries cold, and I was waiting there for ages for the order. Never again, unless the only shop left open in Exeter.

(2024) I have catered again from EFCFC for my daughter's 6th birthday and the food again was smashing! I have gotten to know the owner well. He was away at the time and his staff delivered the order late which luckily did not cause any issue with the venue as we were the last booking of the day. However, the food which was the same menu as last year was again amazing and all guests, loved it and a few asked me for the name of the company. I would surely recommend! (2023)I have mainly used catering, take out and delivery from them for a few years now. Today being another occasion, my daughter's 5th birthday. There were about 60 odd guests. The food yet again was a hit. I have always tell my wife their peri peri hits nandos out of the park anyday. One of my guests at the party said the exact same thing to me. The chicken has so much flavour, depth and taste. We also ordered their special masala fish and chips, fried chicken, nuggets, fish cakes, veggie wraps and a few more items.They always deliver on time and the food is fresh and has amazing taste. They also do the best pulao rice we have tasted in the south west. I know the owner. He is a friendly guy and always gives me great service. Strongly recommend.

Been visiting Exeter for close to five months now & never knew this place existed but this in my opinion is simple food made excellent. Service top notch!! Will return 100%!!

Tasty Takeaway - Highly Recommend! I recently ordered takeaway, and it did not disappoint! The portions were generous, and everything was packed with flavor. The Masala Fish was absolutely delicious, but my favourite has to be the Loaded Fries! They were the perfect mix of toppings and seasoning. If you're looking for amazing food with great portions, this is the place to go! I'll definitely be ordering again soon!

Never again, ordered from the store. Lately they got cheeky. Reheating the fries after they been sat in the heating tray and they are dark brown. If they busy they will not cook the chicken properly and it feels like I’m having boiled chicken not grilled chicken. They take cash without gloves and touching your food after so 0 hygiene. You don’t wanna know what is around the back. The quality/ price not worth it. The oil is changed later instead of every week and they fry everything in the same oil, fries, fish, chicken. AVOID if you care about your health. I’ve got upset stomach after today and I’ve only ate in this place that’s why I’ve had to alert the other customers. Stay safe.

Ordered late dinner with 3 chicken piece meal, one biriyani side-dish, and cheese potato wedges. It was sumptuous and more than enough for 2 people. Maybe the saltiness could be toned down a bit in the chicken fries, but eaten with rice it was balanced out well. The cheese fries were loaded with cheese and the regular fries which came with the meal were crispy. I would recommend this food place if they maintain their food quality consistent.

AVOID!!!! this place is an absolute disgrace! Food is awful and microwaved! I waited 40 minutes for my order when i could've just went up the road to get it within 5 minutes! I dont understand how this place is still open

UPDATED REVIEW, MARCH 2024 OK so based on the owner's response I went back to the restaurant again, and this time got beef burger + chips + peri peri wings + milkshake. All are delicious, great service, clean tables, affordable prices. They also apologized for the previous burnt satay order with a nice discount. Bonus point: There was a disabled person among the customers who started shouting, the owner professionally calmed him down. Very nice move. Updated to 5 star. ORIGINAL REVIEW, FEBRUARY 2024 Just ordered from this place for the first time with high hopes, but such a disappointment unfortunately.. The prep and delivery time, along with the chips, met my expectations. But can’t say the same for the rest of the food.. Fried chicken burger: The fried chicken burger included an unexpected large potato piece not mentioned in the menu, which felt out of place. More importantly, the fried chicken itself was overly oily and lacked the expected crispiness, being soft throughout. Chicken satay: Couldn’t really taste anything really because it was overly burnt.. Beef satay: Couldn’t really taste anything really because, well, it was overly burnt again.. Someone put these on a grill and went to a smoke break I guess. Plus, the texture of the beef was so chewy. For the burns: See the photos. I really couldn’t eat any of the satays. I might give another shot in the future but for now, and believe I have no pleasure saying this but it was such a disappointment.. Response to the owner: Thanks for your message! Hash brown was not written on the menu on the delivery app - but that’s no big deal. Slight miscommunication and it happens. For the satay: I’ll definitely pop up!

I previously left a 5 star review but after the rubbish we had on Friday I have had to update it... if I could leave a minus rating I would. We have ordered from here numerous times before, with no problem, but Fridays offerings took bad food to another level. The onion rings were burnt, the fish stank, the chips were also burnt, fries were limp and luke warm, chicken strips were soggy, yet the meat was rock hard, and I mean rock hard.. i have not left a bad review for anywhere before, it is not something I take pleasure in doing, but after what was delivered on Friday I won't be spending another penny here. I can honestly say what we had on friday nighy was quite possibly the worst food I have ever tried to eat.. most of it went in the bin 100% avoid

He ordered a mix grill burger set and I had a zinger burger set.. full of flavour, good portion and great price, staff was polite, therefore a 5 star review. I come from a country that's known for good food so this is my personal opinion. My husband's a fussy eater but he too loved the food. I see conflicting reviews on this shop, perhaps just give it a go and decide for yourselves! Haven't tried the fish and chips so can't comment on that though.

Poor quality food: Portions of chips were tiny, half were soggy, the other half undercooked. Soggy not very nice chicken pieces. Very slow service, waited nearly 30 minutes. They put the food in the microwave before giving out, presumably because it is not freshly cooked, and has got cold waiting.

The best fish we have had in Exeter! Probably anywhere actually. There is special peri peri fish masala and this is the only place you can get it. It's a Unique recipe they have and I definitely recommend it. The chicken legs are also excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Just had a half pounder with cheese and hash brown meal and a supreme chicken burger meal, also ordered Lebanese chicken satay and omg it was was so nice, burger 🍔 was actually big as well, tasty food guys 😋 , I’d suggest if you read this then try the burgers and the chicken satay on the stick, you won’t be disappointed if you like that kind of thing

Best fried chicken and fish in Exeter. Their masala fish and chicken wings are very tasty and freshly made and the chips is perfect. The staff is very polite, friendly and the big smile on their face creates a positive welcoming energy in the shop. I highly recommend this restaurant.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! this has been our go to place for sometime, however recently the service has been awful. Items from every order have been missed, this time (one last chance) more than 50% of our order was not delivered. We called to tell them and we’re told that they wouldn’t replace the delivered items and that the rest of the order would be delivered within 10 minutes, 25 minutes later the missing items were delivered, while the rest of the order had gone cold. I really wouldn’t bother, really has gone down hill. Awful customer service.

Will be back. But will only order directly through them next time. I ordered for the first time through Hungry Panda. They never delivered my food, and then sent an email (after taking my money) saying that the fried chicken people couldnt accept my order. I knew this wasn't true because i had already called them directly to check on the status of the food before I received the email. So even though it was not the fried chicken people's fault, they cooked fresh food for me to collect in person as my food had been sitting waiting for almost an hour already. So hungry panda are bad. Really bad. But Exeter fried chicken are brilliant. Thank you to them. 😁
