Considering I waited so long in the shop for the takeaway I thought it would be very freshly cooked. The rice was quite dry as in not fresh. Chicken in curry was not tender. The pancake rolls were awful. I felt upset. It was ages since I had been to this place as it is not often I am near to it now. I was so looking forward to the meal because the food served used to be excellent. This time the food was awful. I really hoped to be sharing a good review.

Ordered £49 worth of food at 17.45, on the website it states 35min deliver, well make that over 1 hour 35min deliver. Food containers broken in some off the corners when arrived. Food marginly warm and not the best quality at all. Had far better in the area. Would not recommend at all.

Ordered twice from evergreen and both times they forget half the items on the order wouldn't recommend this place one bit it isn't worth the money and sure isn't worth the trip to evergreen cos you will be greatly disappointed if you have low expectations then this is the place to go

Use these guys a lot but not after today placed order 50 min wait but after hour and a half no show went to look on Food Hub and found the local authority hygene rating was 1 which is not good only 0 being lower so I canceled my food there score and rating say requires MAJOR IMPROVEMET ! but still trading ? not for me now

Really long wait for our food! We were told 20 minutes,and we were still waiting for over an hour and a half! When we called we were told 10 minutes! We cancel the order!

We switched to Evergreen a couple of years ago after using another Chinese in town I think it’s time to have another change They clearly take on too many orders to handle and the wait time is ridiculous Ordered at 6pm, delivery 45 mins. Called at 7.15 to be told it would be 5-10 mins Called back another 20 mins later to be told they were waiting for the driver to return so it hadn’t even left Finally got our order (which was only 2 chow mein and chips) just under 2 hours after ordering Nearly 2 hours for a Chinese is just too long in my opinion

Food took 1 hour 40mins to be delivered and then order that arrived was completely wrong. Food was disgusting and I couldn’t eat it so had to have toast for dinner.

Just had our second takeaway from Evergreen and can confirm that their food is excellent. You get lots and very good quality. The prices are very fair too, so would heartily recommend. We had sweet and sour chicken balls.....10 very large pieces of chicken..can’t believe how much chicken they give you...also chicken curry, great....

Long wait for order to arrive on a Monday night woman on phone assured me driver was on way, good cold when arrived obviuas been on on delivery so long two cans of drink also missing from order lazy send she would send driver back never arrived .....

Had a night out with some friends and ended up coming back around 9pm. We ordered food quite late, also a lot of it, around £50 worth of Chinese. All arrived quickly and tasted amazing. Very good all round.

Excellent food all round. Be prepared to wait on a Saturday though as they do get busy which proves the point.

I had a takeaway from the evergreen because the usual Chinese takeaway that I normally use was closed, but the meal I purchased was probably the best Chinese curry I have ever had, it was excellent . I had king prawn curry and the prawns where just what I expect them to be and that goes for the rest of the meal.

We probably have at least one meal a month from here...and it's definitely the best restaurant in town! Consistently the best in quality and service. Would definitely recommend.

Food delivered hot and very tasty. Can tell its fresh. Will certainly be using from now on. Card payments as well which is always handy x

Do a very good range in Currys. Sauces good. However we have had meals where they have had to much oil in them and meats at times has been dry.

No estoy en patatas fritas grasientas así probamos el evergreen como soy un amante de la salsa de curry y patatas fritas, sé una cosa muy british para hacer pero bueno me encanta, así que intenté su. También probamos a llevar comidas y descubrimos que no son como otras para llevar chino grasienta como hemos tenido en el pasado.

Appalling young woman with no manners working the till.. The word 'PLEASE is not one used in her vocabulary, combined with an typical oik attitude. After years of going there, the owners have lost my custom and thus far 5 of my friends!!

Ordered at 6.40 for a delivery was told 40mins still waiting at 8.27!! Have rang twice both times to be told 10mins! Food better be correct, hot and tasty

Ordenados aquí un par de veces y mi pareja y yo decidimos que era la mejor comida china de la ciudad. Última noche en barrio pidió el pasado 7 y nos dijeron que sería una media hora, bastante bien, normalmente 45 minutos. Dijo Una hora más tarde no tuvimos nuestra entrega, así que llamé y la señora se disculpó diciendo que de repente se llenaba de gente y la comida estaba en el camino, no hay problema que sabemos se cometen errores. 15 minutos más tarde el chico se convierte con nuestra comida y pide 45 libras, mi compañero le dice que sólo da 40 libras ya que he esperado más de una hora y el descarado tipo convierte todo el año y nos dice que no! ! Le faltaban dos cosas de nuestra orden, pero nos dieron otros artículos al azar - mala comida de calidad. Así decepcionado

Told 30mins for delivery, turned up over an hour later, missing some of the order and it was mostly cold. Delivery driver was also rude.

Been using this restaurant for a few years. Food is always really good and value for money. Delivery can sometimes be long (40 mins) but this is in my opinion a good indicator of a popular takeaway. Definitely recommend.

Nunca he tenido una mala experiencia en esta comida o para llevar. He probado muchos de los otros chino comida para llevar en la zona y me parece el Evergreen sea la mejor. La comida es buena y a un precio razonable. Cuando he tenido la comida servida siempre ha sido antes de la hora prevista y caliente. Todo el personal ha sido siempre educado. Me alegra que esto es lo más cercano chino para llevar a mi casa porque, en mi opinión, es el mejor.

We had our 1st delivery on 220th june food was superb nice an hot only waited 15 mins .The only disappointment was not enough beef curry to go with the rice as u mix them together the rice is very dry maybe a bit bigger container for the curry

It is quite some while since we had a takeaway from this establishment and after tonight wished we had been more frequent patrons!The phone order was efficiently dealt with and the total for the meal given there and then which is a real bonus if you are getting a delivery as you can have the money ready for them.The two of us had starters, a main and a rice each - cost of a little over £24. The food arrived in about half an hour - Friday evening of the Bank Holiday weekend - the portions were very generous and the food was delicious.Would certainly recommend and look forward to trying some more of their dishes in the not too distant future - well done!

This is the most unreliable Chinese takeaway in the area. They will take your order, promise delivery within an hour and then deliver it cold two hours later. The call taker is rude and the most obnoxious person I've ever had the misfortune to come across. They will miss items out from your order and then charge you extra for delivery without informing you when taking the order only to be told when the delivery driver is at the door. We have given them a second chance and still they have acted in the same way on the second occasion. There are plenty of other takeaways out there I suggest you use one of them, trust me the food isn't worth the aggravation.
