Evergreen in Highland

After yesterday's order I will never eat anything from here again. The food was so dry it was difficult to eat and ended up in the garbage.

Popped in to pick up a quick dinner after a shift at work - a vegetable fried rice and tub of sweet and sour sauce. Both were lovely and were exactly what I needed, not to mention the sweet and sour sauce being some of the most flavourful I’ve had in a while. On top of that the lady who I spoke to was incredibly sweet and lovely, and the charming conversation made the already very short wait for food simply fly by. Can definitely recommend!

Have been here many times, lovely little takeaway, the owner is a delight as are the rest of the staff.

Enjoyed the takeout we had from there. The server was friendly and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered the beef curry with fried rice. Food was delicious and with the right level of spiciness (by South East Asian standards). Portion was more than expected and provided good value for money. Highly recommended!

Great place, friendly staff, fast delivery time. Especially the owner, lovely, happy, friendly lady. Only issue is getting through on the phone been trying for 15 min, please update your system I almost ate the menu trying to get through.

Best Chinese food in Inverness - lovely place with excellent Customer service. I use this take-away on a regular basis and cannot fault their quality of food. I ordered the steak from here and for some reason, despite it not being mentioned anywhere, the steak is soaked in some form of disgusting sauce. Why doesn't that get mentioned??? I don't want a wet steak.

Oh my. Read all the reviews on the salt and chili chicken so thought we had to try it. It was so salty it was almost inedible. The shrimp curry was also too salty to eat. The egg fried was fine. Sorry but I can’t recommend this place. We have go get another dinner now for tonight .

I've been seeing these little Chinese takeaway restaurants around, so we finally decided to try one. I was skeptical when I saw the menu (a lot of things must be their own creations), but when I tried my first piece of Salt and Chili Chicken, I was in love! So crispy and flavorful. I have two more days here, so I might go back to try some more items. Highly recommended if you're having a Chinese craving in Inverness!

Been using this chinese since I was a kid. I'm now 41 this year and its outlasted most chinese,etc in the Inverness area for a place to last over 30 years in the trade speaks for itself.its Highly recommended, fast delivery service 5stars.

Food generally good fantastic curry but when I made a comment about them getting expensive it was suggested that I try the Indian takeaway instead ! I've been a regular customer for 20+ years very disappointed to receive this response. In their special Currys they used to always put cashew nuts now they charge extra £0.60 for cashews and £0.10 for the bag they put your food in, you have no choice about the bag. Dissapointing service in my opinion. Shall not be returning.

Best Chinese takeaway I've had in years. Salt & Chilli ribs are amazing, as was everything else. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting or staying in Inverness 👍

Just had a take away from this place, absolutely delicious, lived in Inverness for 7 years, in town 1 year, and never enjoyed a take away so much, chilli ribs are amazing.

I phoned and placed an order for delivery on 11/12/20 Shortly before 8pm, Spoke to a happy polite lass and ordered KingPrawn with tomatoes and egg fried rice, she said to me “the food will be with me within half hour” and true to her words it was! The food I ordered was delicious. Yum Yum 😃👍🏽

Really good local Chinese their chicken balls & chips with gravy are top notch & their gravy is to die for. Sausage & Chips with gravy go down a treat 👌 Prawn rice is also very nice.

Extremely average. My lemon chicken is packed with onions??? Our fried rice is just rice with soy sauce. And the taste is definitely not the best. Would not go again

Having tried several chinese takeaway establishments in Inverness, this one appeals to us to be better. The meals were prepared quickly and the front of house staff were very keen to get to know us as well as inform us of the differences between China and Hong Kong cuisine. This was not our visit and although we only have takeaway food infrequently, we would recommend Evergergreen

Best curry in town with great service

This is one of the best Chinese take away in town, on a par with Mr Rice. Portions aren't always that large, but I've never had a bad meal from here and I've had far more than I should have! The menu is much the same as every other but the staff are always friendly and delivery is, for my money, quicker than any other take away.
