Everest Tandori in Barnsley

Used Everest for years but had a break and moved house, waited 1hr and 45 for a delivery, which is too long, the food was good and the delivery driver could have been more sympathetic to our concerns. Will use again but hope the communication is better and the food arrives quicker,

Absolutely gorgeous food. I'm so relieved to find a good curry outside of sheffield. Large portions the tikka sandwich was fresh and plenty and the mix kebabs main was huge. WELL DONE AMD GOOD LUCK TO THE NEW OWNERS 👍

This restaurant has been taken over by new owners in the last 6-8 months. The reviews previous are correct, it was dog. The food now is absolutely out of this world and would recommend to anyone

WoW - just had a takeaway and it was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was so fresh. The price of the food is more than reasonable and the staff are really friendly. Can't wait to go back and recommend to friends and family

Ordered a few starters with chips and a large Kebab for the kids. Every thing was covered with this hot red sauce.even the kebab that was ordered with just garlic mayonnaise. I phoned to ask if they have made a mistake but I was told why are you harassing us you should of read everything comes with the hot sauce. This is the worst takeaway I have ever ordered from. I know this sounds harsh but I phoned them twice before posting this. Both times they hung up . I am upset with myself writing this but after 2 times I must as you guys might order from here

Often order a curry from this place and have done so for years. Food is tasty and you get what you pay for. Delivery is probably the only minus point as it takes 1.5-2 hours for it to actually arrive.. which can be frustrating. Would however not order from anywhere else, local and good quality items on the menu

ordered food took over an hour to arrive order wrong and more expensive than on menu rung and got told I did not order any chips yet paid more than what it worked out at won't be ordering again used to be nice from here not now

Ordered £25 worth of food online. The order got accepted so we waited. An hour and a half later, at 00.15, we rang the place and just asked them how long it would be. We gave him the address, and he repeated a different address back to us. We then said "no, its ...." And told him we recieved the email to say you've accepted our order. He then hung up on us!! Weve tried calling back 7 or 8 times now, and nobody has answered the phone. I can't speak with Just Eat because theyre shut, and no other takeaways are open for us to order food from. Absolutely abysmal 'service', and I will guarantee that I'll be posting this review absolutely everywhere!

Me & my daughter had a chicken korma rice & half chips last night when I called to order it I wanted delivery service but when I asked how long he said 45mins I said no it's ok I will come & collect it he said no problem it's 15 mins I went to collect it got home plated it up took my first mouth full for it to b really sour as tho the cream had gone off I phoned back up to complain for him to say bring it back we will do u another took it back for them just to give me the new korma no rice until I asked for some for him to say didn't u get rice with your last 1 I replied well yes but as though it's all there which I emptied the plate back into the container. This place has gone down hill & we will never order here again

It's a shame cos Hoyland could do with some competition with Elachi but I have to say these guys are the pits. They really could do better. If you like your sauce watery this is the place to visit, if you like a bit of consistency to your dish the avoid this place like the plague!! I am in no way suggesting that this place carries the plague. I just wanna make that point clear. Thank you n good night.

So we ordered some food from this place which we have had previously and tasted pretty decent, the food come after 2 hours of waiting, when it come it was clap cold!! Never ordering again!

A curry house where appearances are definitely deceptive. Easy to drive by but a colleague recommended this and I have never looked back. Whenever I am in the area and fancy a take out curry I bee line for this place. Parking opposite to wait or place your order for collection this place is not to be mistaken for any other with the same name. Worthy of patronage.
