Everest Tandoori in Rushmoor

During a conference visit, we chose to dine at Everest, influenced by its stellar reviews. On arrival, we were greeted by a full house yet managed to snag a table. Raju, the manager, welcomed us warmly, treating us as though we were either family or regulars. His team was exemplary, keen to ensure our satisfaction with each request. Our enthusiasm led us to order generously, resulting in leftovers for the next day's lunch. Impressed by our first experience, we reserved a table for the following night, which was equally busy. This time, I opted for a traditional Nepalese dish, and at Raju's suggestion, tried the Lamb Shank, which was superb. The service remained top-notch, the food was delicious, and our overall experience was exceptional.

Phenomenal cuisine and amazing service. We had initially intended to dine elsewhere this evening but changed our minds last minute and called Everest to enquire about the possibility of a party of 8 with 2 children dining with them. The gentleman we spoke to was very welcoming. We attended about 5 minutes later and the staff welcomed us very warmly. Were very attentive and accomodating. The service was immaculate. The food was incredible. The staff were efficient and exceptionally diligent. The food was brought out in a timely manner and cooked to a very high standard. Succulent pieces of meat, flavourful sauces and sides. There was a particular gentleman there whose name, i am ashamed to say i did not get but he treated and interacted with my children beautifully. They left that night having had their first tandoori restaurant experience on a complete high. Thankyou for making it such a pleasent experience. I am so glad we went.

We have always been ordering average Indian meals from other places, then we found Everest, in all my years and thousands of Indian meals, these are the very best! Everything is so tasty and succulent, others are so dry!

This is one of the very best Indian cuisine restaurants I have gone to twice now, and I have been enjoying Indian cuisine for many years. The cuisine is truly outstanding. The restaurant itself is delightful with excellent tables and seating, and a very comfortable and welcoming environment. Highly Recommended.

What a nice find this restaurant was . We were served by raju ,he was very helpful recommending us authentic nepalese food which I have never tried..so he took his time talking through the different flavours and spiciness. Food was Cooked freshly and was delicious. I will be coming back I really enjoyed the meal in a casual setting great flavours and great service

A group of work colleagues had booked an evening meal (and drinks) at Everest Tandoori on a Thursday evening and I joined them at 20:00. The food and service were outstanding with particularly friendly staff and a great selection of traditional Indian and Nepalese dishes on offer. Drinks and poppadoms with generous dips and accompaniments served quickly and a very lively atmosphere. Food orders taken quickly and starters arrived not too long afterwards. Very generous portions and really fresh dishes. I had the lamb kebab for starters which was excellent. The mixed starters and momo dumplings were a firm favourite on our table too! We didn't have to wait too long for the mains to arrive and we were regularly offered drink refills. Everything was really well presented, portions very generous, naan breads fluffy and my tandoori chicken was excellent as was the fresh side salad I'd asked for that they'd prepared 'off menu' for me. All the other guests seemed to be enjoying themselves including a birthday party on another table. The staff were great with plenty of banter and attentive service. They serve a lovely bottled Gurkha beer as well as draft Cobra, all under £5 to not bad value. The total bill for 9 of us (including about £80 of beers!) worked out to just over £300 so pretty good value. North Camp might not be the most glamorous area but inside the Everest Tandoori it was very pleasant and I'd highly recommend it.

Went here on spec and loved it. Had the PIRO KUKHURA and would definitely have it again. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Great find.

Amazing food and service Scott amazing staff and chefs

Driver was incredibly rude down the phone, couldn’t find the address then started demanding I share my live location with him and demanding I send him pictures of the address. Very passive aggressive with a serious attitude problem. Never had an issue in all the years I’ve ordered from here. Refused to then deliver the order as claimed he can’t find my address and resulted in me calling up and getting a refund. Disappointing 🤷🏻‍♂️

We were visiting the area and wanted indian/Nepalese food. Firstly the online order was easy to do and offerred a 10% discount. We arranged collect within 30 mins. In arrival the restaurant looked fairly busy with dine in eaters and had a good atmosphere with plenty of staff working. I had forgotten to order a pot of mint sauce and the guys quickly sorted that for me. I chatted with the staff for a short while and they never rushed me. The food arrived, and I was given a bottle of rhino beer unexpectedly which was nice. Got home, unpacked and everything was there. The portion size was good, plenty of chicken and lamp and the taste was really lovely. If anything it was slightly spicier than I would have thought but all dishes were lovely.

Everything regarding this restaurant is top notch. The service was exemplary and we were made very welcome. The food was exceptional and will visit again when in the area.

Went to Everest for my daughters birthday meal tonight, I don't know where to start, the staff were all utterly lovely and very attentive, the food was beautiful, fresh and delicious, including a recommendation for a dish I'd never tried and it was amazing, loved it. Nothing was too much bother, and a lovely suprise of Happy birthday being played and a gorgeous chocolate pudding complete with candle being bought out at the end of our meal, I was the only one who had never been there before but will definitely be going back, hands down THE best Indian meal I have ever had Thank you

Everything here is definitely 5 stars no doubt. In the whole of the UK, definitely in the top 3 of best curry restaurants I’ve ever been to. Been a regular in this restaurant since I was little and every visit here has been nothing but fantastic! Every single staff who works there are the best! Friendly, warm, welcoming, friendly, kind, helpful, chatty, enthusiastic, every positive word! Everything food wise is amazing! I am not surprised it being one of the best restaurants in the whole of Hampshire. I absolutely love everything about this restaurant!

A lovely welcome and as my daughter speaks Nepalese enjoyed the friendly conversations. The dishes were explained to us very well especially as my daughter is gluten free. Most of the dishes are gluten free. The food was excellent and served quickly and efficiently. A feeling as if you were guests in their home. A very well run restaurant by the manager, Raju. We will be back.

Best curry I’ve had in the local area. Best biryani I’ve had in the UK. Delicious food (especially the huge onion bhajis and lamb biryani) and incredible Nepalese dishes (especially the Momos). Big chunks of meat in the curries and good portion sizes. We ordered as a delivery and all was very hot on arrival. Will order again and recommend to others.

Always visit this spectacular restaurant for friends birthdays. The food is impeccable and the service tops it. The staff are always so attentive and go over and beyond in delivering exceptional service. Luckily this restaurant is in my area and highly recommend those to travel to do so! The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Friendly and accommodating staff were able to meet our requests with great pleasure and were open to friendly conversation. Our favourite meal was the vegetable biryani but everything was delicious. Definitely recommend as take away or eat in!

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times now and every time I had a great food and exceptional service if you are up for a curry and live locally (or drive to it, well worth it) this is the place to go.

First takeaway from here after having a fantastic meal inside a few months ago. Food was delivered quickly, piping hot and with a free bottle of beer! Fish chilli masala is my favourite and the salmon tikka is moist and delicious. Great job thank you

I have not visited Everest for some time as I don't live in the area. However, the staff remembered me from my previous visits and made me feel very welcome as a solo diner. As ever(est), the food lived up to expectations. I will be back as soon as my travel plans allow. As a Tandoori restaurant, it really is on top of the world.

A good night after go karting in Farnborough. Service and food to a good standard. Busy for a mid week. Would highly recommend if you’re in the Farnborough north camp area.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food is just as incredible every time! The Indian/ Nepalese variety is incredible and the each dish can be catered to your own spice level. The restaurant itself is a cosy well kept place with beautiful decor. As well as some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten, the staff there are absolutely incredible and go above and beyond to make sure you’re dining experience is top notch. Everyone is so polite and attentive- making sure drinks are topped up, food is up to standards, making you feel welcome and just overall kindness which isn’t always easy to come about. Everytime I go to Everest im always greeted with a smile:)

Unbelievable food with even better service! This little gem in Farnborough is a must visit if you’re ever in the area for an event of exhibition or live locally. Honestly some of the best food I ever had. Everything was full of flavour, portions were so generous and the meal left you so satisfied. The staff are very accommodating, personable and add to the whole experience. Next time I’m in Farnborough, I’m back here!

I love this restaurant. The food is incredible, the service is attentive but not overbearing. The Nepalese variations on every dish makes it a really enjoyable experience. The Piro Kukura is by far the best dish I have eaten at any Indian or Nepalese restaurant....

Bad night last night food did not taste that great and I suspected that it was not that fresh either , my friend texted me from his home afterwards saying he was vomiting and I was beginning to feel the same ... both of us had bad stomach aches to . Last night was not a great experience! up all night , still feeling queasy this morning and have a constant feeling of being on the brink of being sick , horrible !.... I will not be returning to Everest again after that meal as the food was obviously not fit to eat and clearly must have been contaminated in some way. Unfortunately this can be rather hard to spot when eating curry so I rely on the venue to set great standards. Unfortunately we sure knew about it afterwards ...shame as the restaurant used to be good 😞 24hours later still feeling like vomiting this evening …. painful lesson !

What a lovely enjoyable evening. Absolute divine and delicious food! The service from all the front of house staff was superb! Complimented the Food that's for sure. The setting was idyllic and true hidden treasure. I have eaten and experienced gratefully some of the nicest restaurants around the globe, but that Chicken chat puri was undoubtedly the best I have eaten to date! The young vibrant under 30 front of house manager was top notch! You made my mothers birthday meal extremely enjoyable! Thank you for the food and the laughter!! 🤟 See you again 🤟

Well was looking forward for great food 15 of us eating but was disappointed with starter kebab very dry and the main course was only warm as a layer had formed on the top, a few of us noticed the food wasn't hot and dry pity the staff were great but won't be going back anytime soon

Brilliant service and food I would recommend

Popped in on the off chance they had a table for me. It’s a busy Friday night, I’d not booked and they had large parties due in shortly. Despite all this, they fitted me, on my own, on a large table, tucked discreetly in the corner and not in full view (my hearing is failing so sitting with walls around me help me hear better). I had a simple meal: spicy and plain poppadoms, assortment of chutneys, butter chicken, pilaw rice, keema naan. Washed down with water and a pint of cobra. Food first. The starts were amazing. Poppadoms were crisp, had good bite, tasty and spicy. Chutneys were fresh, clean and plentiful. Followed by butter chicken chicken. The chicken was tender, cooked and succulent. Probably the best butter chicken ever. I’d gone off it previously as it has been chewy and butter elsewhere. But this one was top notch. Rice was cooked perfectly and delicate, the keema naan was crisp as necessary, hot and tasty meat filling, not soggy nor undercooked. Service super friendly and prompt. The condition of accommodating me was that I could clear the table, so I ordered quickly and had super speedy service, just the right balance. Sadly I live a few hours away but I’d definitely coming back here again. Great food, too service and friendly, genuine people. Note: even at 6pm, restaurant was busy. I counted 6 takeaways in 30 mins. Gives you an idea of how popular this excellent restaurant is. £23 not bad!

A culinary journey though Nepal and India. Everest. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Everest Tandoori in Farnborough, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. The Nepalese cuisine they offer is truly outstanding. The combination of flavors and spices in the dishes left me thoroughly impressed. The service at Everest Tandoori was top-notch as well. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. One of the standout dishes for me was the spicy bread with paneer curry. The bread was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of spice, complementing the rich and flavorful paneer curry beautifully. Another highlight was the paneer shashlik, a delightful, sizzling skewered dish bursting with savoury goodness. The daal and rice were also exceptional. The daal had a comforting, home-cooked quality to it, and the rice was cooked to perfection, serving as an ideal accompaniment to the other dishes. Overall, my dinner at Everest Tandoori was a memorable culinary journey. The combination of amazing food and great service makes this restaurant a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian /Nepalese cuisine. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their delightful offerings

The service and food were amazing. The serving staff were energetic, respectful and knowledgeable to the dishes that were on the menu. The food, as you would expect with the Nepalese culture, was impeccable. Great flavour, amazing portions and down right delicious. The only minor issue was the bottled water was at room temperature. However, they did provide a copious amount of ice separate to the water. Would I return to the restaurant? Without a shadow of a doubt!! Thank you
