There are a lot of cool coffee shops and it’s all about the ambience and the barista to make the coffee and the experience feel better to come back again. And Khalid barista has created the warmth to the customers and my experience here. It has brought me back again and again to see his nice smile and kind eyes - who pays attention on the small things with an eye on the big things to take good care of the Eve’s customers.

After feeling quite stressed about where to sit and study or with food, our waiter Khalid eased that super quickly, he was so accommodating and friendly and made our experience of this place delightful! So welcoming and smiley

The interior is lovely and calming , the greenery and music add so much to the place but , nothing beats the lovely service . I was served by Khalid and he was very lovely , welcoming and helpful when it came to my order and choices .

The guy at the front of the house and bartender today was in a super rush for some reason when there are not busy when we came in, we just sat at the table and asked what we wanted already and he came to us twice while the other group that sat before us still didn’t have to order and then again when another Asian table comes he goes asked them first while the European group take a seat first but he let them enjoy their moment first not rush into it, But food and the atmosphere are ok.

Weird spot for a pizza but I am always on a mission to find London’s best pizza. Saw this place on Instagram and it looked good. Short review: not worth it, average at best. FOOD Pizzas are supposed to be New York style and I was excited as I just got back from eating pizza in NYC. But no, this is not a tasty vodka sauce pizza or a good pepperoni. I’d give it 6/10. STAFF/SERVICE Super unhelpful staff who prefer to chat in the back than serve customers. No friendliness, no helpfulness, nothing, just the basics. Well basics for me means no service charge. ATMOSPHERE/LOCATION Perhaps the strangest thing is the location: it’s in a 4* hotel on the busy Cromwell Road inside their lobby. It’s a weird setting being in couches and eating pizza on small tables, we didn’t particularly enjoy it. My partner complained about the strong smell of perfume which was abundant throughout the venue also. CONCLUSION: Instagram fad, won’t return. Go to Franco Manca down the road and it will be better and cheaper. Or go to Alley’s Cats for proper New York pizzas.

Terrible experience, 4 salads with three leaves crossed and a bit of sauce, let's not talk about the bloody mary watered down and not even seasoned well at a cost of well 9 pounds with the addition of 3 pounds for tomato juice... Let's not talk about the bill a total of 105 pounds…

EMBARRASSING! We did the lunch formula taking only 4 salads (cesar salad and classic mixed salad) and a drink each. We waited at least 20 minutes to be served, when the dishes finally arrived there were 4 salad leaves with little dressing and some stale croutons probably from 4 days before. The mixed salad was certainly one of the packaged ones. We paid a whopping 31 euros each including tip, already included in the bill... I attach photos

Came here with a friend to study and have a matcha, please keep in mind that if you're coming to work there is a very limited area where you can use your laptop! We came early to get a seat. The hotel and cafe itself is very beautiful with a lovely atmosphere, large open windows and nice music. I had the matcha latte, it was decent.

While the ambiance and atmosphere are really nice, unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. We waited 30 minutes for drinks, only to eventually go to the bar and get them ourselves. After that, we waited another 20 minutes for our food, and when it arrived, there was no cutlery provided. We had to chase staff multiple times for both food and drinks, and ultimately had to go to the counter to pay because we were afraid we’d be waiting even longer. It’s a shame, as the experience didn’t match the quality of the environment.

The food at this place is very good we shared a pizza, wings and salad between two. The service, whilst they were very nice, was a bit inattentive and I had to go up to pay at the end as couldn’t get their attention. Also, slightly off atmosphere with a lot of people working on laptops in the restaurant which kind of killed the vibe a bit.

Popped down for a quick breakfast before heading into the city for the day. Holly at the cafe was super chatty and served me a quick yet tasty breakfast.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at EVE in Kensington at the Ember Locke hotel. The great cocktails, salad and terrific pizza were just part of the experience. Patricia (originally from Malaga, Spain) was our exceptional host. She is a truly delightful person, with warmth and kindness galore. We immediately became friends :) We’ll definitely be back for more!

Delicious food, beautiful room and garden, excellent drinks, customer services second to none. I recently had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant that offers a wide range of options. We decided to try the giardiniera pizza, and it was absolutely delicious!!! Our waiter, Aieman (hope I got that right!), was wonderful. He took the time to explain the menu options and recommended a dish based on our preferences, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The customer service was 10/10!

The atmosphere was amazing but I dissapointed about the how poor the menu is. You do not have any options after 11 AM for breakfast not even granola.. I could only get some leftover pastry’s and coffee. First we sat somewhere and they said if we are not staying at the hotel actually we cannot use laptops in certain places which is not make sense. They do marketing for this place for laptop free study/work area but you cannot use it everywhere. There are limited seats for the ones who would like to work and it is a self service you need to go to tills for ordering food or drink. I feel like the atmosphere and the service level and menu was not aligned with each other. It is a shame since the architecture is stunning! I only suggest to having a coffee in this place it is very good. 👍🏽

We came here as its announced as a great place to work with a laptop. Everywhere thats available to seat are refrained from using your laptop if you are not staying in the hotel. There is only one full section that you can use to work if you are lucky. When you seated somewhere and want to order they notify you that someone will come and take your order and when ypu asked them they say its self service. Once you want to order they say you can only order 1 thing from the menu as the others are not available to serve. What kind of lack of customer service is this? The only thing that works here is the interior design. Really regretful of coming here, dont suggest anyone

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the restaurant, and I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional service provided by Ayman. He took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, ensuring that I felt confident in my choices. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the buffalo wings—they were out of this world! I came to Eve about a week ago. The service was excellent. Patricia took care of us, recommended us food and drink and even took the time to have a lovely conversation with us. My son have a gluten intolerance and Patricia was very helpful and understanding with him. The place is beautiful, and cozy. The pizza was delicious and the atmosphere spot on. Definitely will came back with my kids and husband, and other times with my friends. Thanks for a lovely evening Patricia!

Me and my partner went for a drink and some food on a week day . The venue is absolutely gorgeous , staff was friendly and service focused , the food was really good and well presented and the wine we got recommended was spot on. We will definitely be back soon .

So I went to this really popular cafe that I saw everywhere on social media and was so excited to come here because I'm not from London. So imagine my surprise when I receive a very rude request from a server/waiter telling me to move or leave because I was using my laptop. I was very confused as everyone else in that cafe except for maybe two were using a laptop. He asked if I was staying at the hotel or if I was only a visitor, probably because he did not want to be rude to a hotel guest but instead rude to a visitor. He was wearing a cream baggy shirt and had messy brown hair. This was really disappointing because it put a very bad taste in my mouth about coming here again.

worst service ever, took ages for an iced latte (we decided to leave so told them never mind just to see it wasnt even being made anyway...) even the poor waiter was apologetic. dirty table didnt even get cleaned. good decor tho 🤷‍♀️should pay the waiter more for having to apologise constantly on behalf of others not doing their job ...

Their Proper Slice collab is soooo yummy. The pizza had the perfect amount of dough, sauce and cheese. Service was top notch (thank you Alessandro). They are very accommodating to diverse dietary needs. I reserved a table in advance and asked for halal in my reservation and they had plenty of halal options available for me as I arrived. Vibes were immaculate, great atmosphere. The music is groovy and the interiors are lush. Overall I had a great meal and oh, the dessert is really fresh too. I had the cheesecake.

I had a great experience here. The atmosphere is fantastic and I received excellent service from Leanne. I am confused as to why so many other reviewers are complaining about not being allowed laptops. I, for one, am glad that my dining experience wasn't ruined by the tapping of people on their laptops.

It's the first time I have tried Eve's breakfast menu as we usually just come over for evening drinks with friends, but it was absolutely fantastic. Thank you Leanne for brilliant service and recommendations :) Will definitely be back :)

Fantastic food, wonderful people and a beautiful space

Used to be a cute co-working space, but they’ve recently implemented a no-laptop policy and sectioned off an area fit for about 5 people in total where laptops can actually be used. Laptop area was all full when I stopped by (of course) so even after ordering lunch I was told I couldn’t use my laptop despite the fact the rest of the cafe was virtually empty. Can no longer recommend this as a study spot, which is a shame because it was truly enjoyable while it lasted.

Visually the place is beautiful, love the conservatory aspect perfect feeling of being outside but your inside. Nice vibe. But in terms of the service not great.., staff more interested talking amongst themselves rather than serving the customers… also they charge 75 p for alternative milk which is rather steep especially if you have to choose this option as your lactose intolerant, cappuccino was okay abit small and not very hot. It’s worth going for the interior, staff need to improve.
