Love it here the food is amazing and service is fantastic. Wish it was our local (live in Kedington) they know what we like and have our drinks poured within minutes of coming in!!!

Great place. We found it warm and inviting and the locals a friendly bunch. The pub was well decorated for the festive season and they even have raffles for a chance for you to win goodies. Food was really nice and much better than some of the other local pub chains in the area, and a far better price. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be back.

Went with my parents for Sunday roast, omg what can I say. The food was absolutely delicious. Meat was sooo tender, big portions and we even got asked how many Yorkshire puddings we wanted each!! Huge menu to choose from, and as for desserts, well, totally spoilt for choice. Staff all smiles and friendly and also very punctual and attentive. Definitely worth more than 5 stars in my opinion. Highly highly recommend anyone to go here.

Quiet and friendly country pub. "Traditional decor" in the pub side. Modern restaurant attached.

Great price and portion size on the fish and chips, ordered this for good friday, the chips and the fish tasted the same like old oil not great stick to bennys for fish and chips, cant comment on the other items on the menu but from this experience wont be ordering again unless they change the chefs :/

Lovely pub in attractive country setting. Pleasant and helpful staff. Car park and plenty of well kept outside space and seating. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit on a perfect summer evening.

We had a family party there yesterday for my dad's 60th and have to say they really done a BRILLIANT job so friendly helpful food was amazing and they really worked hard.A Big thank you to all staff and manager 👍👏

Was served stinking gone off chicken!!! Never smelt something so repulsive in my life. Being 5 months pregnant eating this could of been devastating! The place is a health hazard. Unprofessional, rude ignorant people. Waitress and chef/ owner are brother and sister. Both tried arguing the chicken was fresh from butchers and gave so much attitude. We took the chicken to them to smell it, it smelt absolutely foul but neither would admit it. Just kept blaming the butchers. Couldn't give a hoot how fresh it was, it was rotten! Still baffled how the chef couldn't smell rotten chicken when cooking it. The smell was so strong. After waiting nearly an hour for that I was so disappointed. Thankfully removed from the bill, but we had to ask them to remove it! Been coming for years but since ownership change place has gone very downhill. Will never return and will warn people. Never had an experience like this when eating out somewhere!

Table of 8. 3 mixed grills ordered. Chicken was OFF! To the point it was rancid. It stunk. After picking it up to smell all our fingers smelt vile. One person was 5 months pregnant, could of caused serious harm. The peppercorn sauce was purple in colour and tasted bitter too. The waiting staff and chef were argumentative and rude. Blamed the butcher's. So much attitude. Conveniently the 2 waiting staff and the staff are siblings so the rudeness must run in the family. After waiting nearly an hour for the food it was disgraceful. Eat out often and I've never seen or smelt anything like it!! I have no idea how the chef cooked 3 lots of rancid off chicken without noticing. The smell lingered across our whole table to the point it made us heave! Will never ever return and will warn others!

Very disappointed with Xmas dinner. Frozen vegetables. No stuffing with the turkey. No Xmas crackers. Expensive compared to local pub in town doing carvery with choice of meats, fresh vegetables all cooked fresh. Would not use this fir a party booking again. On the plus side, the staff are lovely.

Attitude of waitress has a lot to be desired.

Well it has lovely food and play area at the back, But the toilets are tiny and no changing mats for baby's, though there is a lot of elderly people there I have no problem with that.That is why I rate it 3 stars 😊

my friend and I stopped off here for lunch in the bar while out walking . I had some home made vegetable soup which was seasoned far too much particularly with pepper which drowned out any taste of the vegetables..it was not nice . my friend had omelette and chips he asked for salad but got peas .. that was ok . I have had lovely meals here before so maybe this was a one off

This is the best pub in the area for food and the beer and garden is amazing. As a CAMRA member this place does the best pint of Adams Broadside I have ever drunk and I have tried it over the road from the brewery and at the brewery Awesome.

Been coming here on and off for years. Great atmosphere, good food. A home from home on many a winter's night.

Got a bit tipsy here. Selection of beers available. Talkative Landlord made for pleasant evening. I even took care of the real log burning fire during the evening that was just magic.

Absolutely first class ale. Excellent pub food. Great landlord and his boss the landlady. This pub is how all pubs should be...

Had a great meal here. Good banter and very friendly. Shame it is not nearer to us we would is it more. Love this place and people.
