Caffè Nero in St Edmundsbury

Staff are very friendly and the pastries are always good. Definitely try the cinnamon roll, it's amazing!

Nice place, but it can be improve

Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon in September. In door seating only. Staff weren’t overly friendly. Had a cold cherry latte 🍒 10/10 My friend had a strawberry milkshake. (Pictured) Great location for a people watch 😊

Im drinking coffee at Nero almost every day and its awesome, their coffee choice is great with their new winter blend becoming one of my favourites and the staff are all brilliant, plenty of room and outside seating.

I popped in to Nero's for a change and the barista who served me was very helpful, and I enjoyed the coffee and fresh pain au chocolat. It's a bit dark inside the cafe for me, but it's clean and modern.

Always have a lovely experience whenever I visit this coffee shop! Always greeted with a warm welcome and service with a smile. Great range of coffee, hot chocolate, cold drinks with cakes and other savoury items to go with it. Worth a visit !

We went in for coffee and a cake, the coffee was good so was the cake, service was with a smile. Nice place to go, however, the place is a bit tired looking, and could do with a brightening up.

Love Caffe Nero coffee but this must be the worst Caffe Nero I have ever been in. It was filthy. The staff were nice and so was the coffee. It does not look like the place has ever been cleaned. The floor in the cafe and the floor in the toilet were disgusting crumbs and ground in dirt I don't think they had ever seen a broom or mop. My husband and I sat in a window seat with three seats. Two of the seats were dirty but not stained. The third seat was disgusting and should be thrown in a skip. It was filthy and stained all over. It looked like there was tar stains all over it. We drank our coffee and got out of the place never to return. This establishment needs to be shut down for a few days in order to give it a deep clean. If this is how they present the front of house to the public I dread to think what the rest of it looks like.

This place needs decorating asap . Dirty walls . Dirty wooden floors. Toilet area Dirty and smelly.

Great place to relax just like the other branches. Seating is comfortable, no wonder it’s so busy here and difficult to find any seats sometimes. There are also multiple sockets available around the shop in case you need to charge your device. The coffees are very good, but sometimes the syrup gets concentrated at the bottom, so it’s a good idea to stir before drinking. If I have to be picky, there are other Caffè Nero branches that make it better.

The prices of things are a little pricey but they do make nice coffee with a huge choice of different types and tastes.

Visited my first cafe nero last week, me and my daughter visit alot of cafes around her hospital appointments but we had never tried this one and I have to say it was one of the best cafe experiences we've had, my daughter is an adult autistic lady so we have to make sure we go to places she feels comfortable in so to try a new cafe is always daunting but this cafe nero in Bury St Edmunds was absolutely lovely, the extreamily tall handsome server was so so nice, he didn't rush my very shy daughter in her ordering, he waited for her to say what she wanted and was kind to her which had me won over before i had even tasted me hot chocolate lol turns out he makes the best coffee and hot chocolates we have ever tasted! the cafe was beautifully clean, welcoming and warm, we didn't want to leave ! It's now become our new favourite and plan to visit it weekly after the hospital appointments. Thankyou cafe nero, your team of lovely workers are a true jewel in your establishments crown xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm in this coffee shop most days, and aside from the fact their coffee is way better than Starbucks and Costa, the staff are first class, so friendly and helpful.

He is making a rude and racist show against foreign nationals. When he says thank you and please to the British, he is racist with a rude speech when he comes to me. A white-haired man with a long white beard no racist i will complain him ..

Better end of the chain coffee shops. Food choices are quite limited but coffee good.

Had coffee today Sunday, the barrister was kind enough to carry the tray with our coffee outside for my mother. He even went back to get us some sugar which we had failed to grab whilst inside. Excellent service it was much appreciated.

It's OK,,, nothing special..... Just mediocre coffee.

Despite being short staffed, they were their usual polite & efficient selves, serving with a smile & as quickly as possible. Only bugbear was no outside seating, despite it being a lovely mild day, but under the circumstances I suppose that in understandable.

Just love place very polite staff and helpful. Clean and tidy nice place to relax and enjoy the coffee.

I had a lovely meet up with a friend. The coffee shop was clean, not crowded and felt quite airy. The baristas were very friendly, polite and helpful. It felt covid safe. Whilst they cannot insist on customers wearing masks, these are advised.

Dog friendly but don't accept cash. Mx

The young manager serving was charming and her customer service skills were impressive - she should definitely provide training to some of the other branches we've visited! A smile and some engaging chit chat makes all the difference.

My cafe latte was very hot and taystie. I would come agine. And the layout for covid19 was very well palned. And the staff member who served me was very fast and had a warm welcoming smile. Would come agine. Superb cafe latte.

My coffee was good as I have it black. My husband ask for a small amount of milk in his but they put far too much in and ruined it for him. It would be better to give the milk separately so you can put in the amount you want.

Whilst they are taking sensible precautions, they aren't insisting you can only stay for a certain amount of time like other coffee shops I could mention (and will no longer visit)

Decent coffee and nice atmosphere with COVID aware staff, but their internet wouldn't connect with my laptop when my reasoning for getting a coffee there was to get some work done. Enjoyed the coffee though and had a read instead.
