Euphorium Bakery in City of London, Westminster

Incredibly rude staff, I would avoid going here and try one of the other bakeries where the staff give much better service.

I was completely stunned by the aggressive behaviour towards me by the man in the bakery. I’m not sure if he was the manager but he was shouting and behaving so aggressively. I could not understand. I didn’t even end up eating the food I’d purchased as the whole experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. Avoid.

Esta mañana me sorprendió que Londres volviera a estar en alerta máxima para venir aquí a comprar cafés. El personal detrás del escritorio, uno tenía su máscara puesta correctamente, el otro tenía una máscara quirúrgica suelta justo sobre su boca, con la nariz completamente afuera. Es por eso que necesitamos restricciones adicionales, ya que las personas parecen incapaces de seguir instrucciones. Luego sirvieron a un hombre sin máscara mientras estaba sentado, pero luego se acercaron al mostrador. Tenían un buen pastel de zanahoria, pero el café era bastante normal y un poco demasiado caliente. Si eres exigente con tu café, te recomendaría otros lugares en Londres, ya que el "barista" aquí obviamente no era el más experimentado.Sin embargo, para tomar un trago rápido y morder después de una caminata en el parque, este lugar está bien. Desafortunadamente, tienen aire acondicionado funcionando todo el tiempo en lo que parece plena potencia en febrero. Incluso con muchas personas quejándose, no lo rechazaron, lo que no es el ambiente más acogedor.

Como muchas otras buenas panaderías artesanales independientes en Londres. Servicio eficiente, café decente y repostería. Todos deberían usar lugares como este en lugar de las cadenas. Ni siquiera se comparan.

Tengo que visitar el Royal Free y siempre me detengo a tomar un café al menos, aunque los pasteles son encantadores y el tocino en rollo / ciabatta de su elección es magnífico y generoso en el tocino.Le he dado 5 estrellas, pero estoy de acuerdo en que el servicio puede ser variable, aunque el servicio fue con una sonrisa hoy.

Muffin buoni, the e caffè nella norma, posto abbastanza accogliente, ma il personale che sistema le brioche sui vassoi si lecca le dita (infilate nei guanti, per cui diciamo che si lecca i guanti) dalle briciole e con le stesse dita appena leccate continua poi a sistemare le brioche, poi si rilecca le dita e poi risistema le brioche.Allucinante.

Mi esposa asiste al Royal Free cada 2 meses y siempre paramos aquí para tomar café y pasteles. En esta ocasión me molesté conmigo mismo, ya que me di cuenta de que hacen descuentos para el personal de NHS y tengo una tarjeta Blue Light. Pero nunca lo he usado y siempre he pagado el mejor precio. Gastamos alrededor de 30 cada vez que visitamos, ya que los precios son altos incluso para Londres, pero el café es bueno y los pasteles están bien, aunque se dejan en la parte superior del mostrador y algunas veces están rodeados de moscas, como fue el caso hoy. Sin embargo, deben estar haciendo algo bien, ya que la panadería estaba muy ocupada hoy. Desafortunadamente, esto significaba que teníamos mucha prisa por hacer el pedido y no había tiempo para bromas. Ni siquiera una sonrisa de parte del personal.Pedimos varios pasteles, dos bebidas calientes y una botella de coca cola. Acabo de comprar un croissant de almendras que tenía masa sin cocer en el medio. El joven personal intentó decirme que era la pasta de almendra. Cuando dije que no lo era, era una masa cruda, solo sonrieron. Cuando volví a subir al mostrador para insistir en que estaba crudo y para devolverles el mensaje, simplemente volvieron a sonreír. En ningún momento se hizo una sustitución, reembolso o disculpa. No es suficiente. Han perdido mi negocio.

We went for a quick lunch before a walk around the Hampstead Heath, nice coffee and savory, busy place.

I bought a couple a flat white coffees here which were very nicely made, strong with a creamy froth. The cakes are good too.

Disappointing stale dry same applied to almond croissants. Won’t be going again.

Plenty of good seating in this little place. My coffee was enormous and good quality. My almond croissant was also enormous but I would have liked a bit more sweet paste inside it.

I ordered the Coconut Milk Matcha Ice Latte and there was no coconut taste and a very weak matcha taste. My friend ordered the Fresh Mint and Lime, which to me is less interesting but was much better.

Had a takeaway americano which was strong and not at all bitter. The cafe itself is not very comfortable to sit in.

Me sorprendió lo lleno que estaba, que normalmente indica que este lugar debe ser bastante buena. Sin embargo, me decepcionó un poco la limitada selección de pasteles y el aspecto sombrío de los productos horneados. El servicio era pésimo. Había tantos detrás del mostrador pero eran todo el lugar y obviamente nervioso. Tardaron siglos en servirme café y un par de los productos horneados. Aunque el café era bastante bueno preferiría ir a una de las grandes cadenas de café que esta panadería.

Nos reunimos con algunos amigos para pasar la tarde aquí. Elegimos esta cafetería después de una gran taza de té en la sucursal hermana más temprano en el día.

Bread and dessert are not good... also, the people working there do not seems happy. Better go to another place to enjoy a coffee and a desert.

I bought croissants and petite pan, this was first thing in the morning. They were stale and hard. Went back to shop where manager told me this could not be the case! Unacceptable really, she offered me two more of the same, I had bought five items. Will not buy from there again. Poor quality and poor customer relations

I came here during the week for a coffee break with my friend. At the entrance we saw the pastries and the deserts, we asked to the bar staff some suggestions and they looked very bored to answer since they had better things to do like talking with each other. Food looks like it is not freshly baked. Rude staff. Never coming back again.

Met friends in here. Not been in for a while. Unusually I had a large espresso. It was ok but I don't think the beans used are brilliant so my usual flat white would probably have been better.

Our cakes were fine, as were our drinks.But why have space for 30+customers but only a single unisex toilet, with bins overflowing with used towels. Disgusting

I've been coming here for three years now and have observed its slow decline during that time. I have a weakness for their terrific pastries, but without those I'd have practically no reason to remain loyal.

I recently went to the Euphorium branch in Islington and had a truly awful coffee. Thankfully here they do a far better drink and produced a very good quality espresso.

Mi amigo y yo disfrutamos de un capuchino adorable y café con leche por la zona para sentarse al aire libre fuera de la panadería en la calle alta. La ubicación es excelente, justo en frente de la estación de Hampstead Heath.

We visited Hampstead Heath during a short break in London and went looking for a place to have elevenses. There were a few cafes in the vicinity but we were drawn in by the pastries in Euphorium! We had an apple danish, a lemon tart and two coffees and all were delicious. The savoury food looked appetising too, but it was too early for lunch. The prices were reasonable. The decor is interesting - a long rustic table downstairs, another long table up some stairs along with some small round tables with stools & chairs. It's quite basic and the toilet (one only) is VERY basic! The staff were pleasant and the place was fairly busy with a good atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

I used to like it, especially the clafoutis, but it is now a very unloved and scruffy brand. I am sitting here facing the counter and on the floor are crumbs everywhere. A young man who I assume to be the manager, attempted a basic sweep - he didn't really collect much and then he put the filthy and very dusty broom to the side of the shop. The counter was filthy too and there no pride can in keeping any of the shop clean and tidy.And to top it all every single member of staff had a serious attitude problem. They are not doing me a favour by serving me so I won't do them a favour by going back.Keep away.

Our apple pie was way too sweet, and my nice looking blueberry cake was stodgy and not tasting of much.

Croissants to die for but coffee to die from.Really sad coffee experience .Trip adviser wants me to say more but it's done, thanks goodbye!

Cake: We ordered 2 slices of the Victoria Sponge. Really dry and overcooked, but they'd obviously tried to hide this fact by pumping so much buttercream filling in. So much that it became sickening within a couple of bites. Really poor cake!Drinks: I got a bottle of diet coke and it was out of date by almost 3 months!! No real apology or anything, just handed me a new one, pointing out the date. Pretty terrible that no-one noticed their stock was out of date until I pointed it out 3 months after.Facilities: The toilet was grim. Hand-drier not working and the bin was so full that paper towels were all over the floor. Plus, although this isn't necessarily Euphorium's fault, loads of 'stains' in the toilet bowl! Gross.

I have not been here in a while but came for tea and hot chocolate the other day. Both ok if a bit pricey. Now there is a Le Pain Quotidien nearby as well as Karma bakery this place looks a bit dated.

家の近所なので、ときどき週末の朝に行っています。テイクアウトのお客が多いのですが、イートインスペースがあり、テーブルとテーブルの間が比較的余裕があるので、ゆったりできます。興味のない人には余計な情報ですが、イートインスペースではポケモンGOのジム（Hampstead Heath 駅のジム）に入れるので、コーヒーを飲みながらジムを攻略してます（笑）

I and a friend stopped off at the Euphorium Bakery for a light bite, late in the morning. My friend opted for a cappucino + slice of carrot cake (which looked very yummy + quite moist). I ended up ordering a cappucino (fab coffee!) and a traditional scone, with raspberry jam + butter. Apart from the scone being quite crumbly, it was very good + such a large portion that it kept me going until dinnertime! Good service provided behind the counter, and ample seating indoors. Cozy atmosphere - and quite busy even for 11am in the morning.Would like to come back and possibly try out the soup next time !!

Called in here on the morning of Sunday 6th Nov. to have a latte with my wife. Having asked for two lattes - with very hot milk and the shots on the side; and getting blank stares, I repeated the request stating that I wanted the coffee separate from the milk so that I could put the amount of coffee into the milk that I wanted to suit my taste. Order number sign handed over - we'll bring them to your table! After waiting for about 15 minutes the lattes eventually arrived at the table - but the coffee was already in with the milk - way too strong. I explained that this was not as requested; explaining to the waitress what I required (cups of hot milk and shots separate). She went back to the counter and returned 10 minutes later with her tray containing four cups - two half full of milk and two half full of coffee??. I stated that I wanted two cups full of hot milk into which I could put a small amount of the coffee. Her response was very off-hand and stated the she would have to charge more for the milk?? Since when did a latte not involve a more or less 'full' cup/glass of milk and a shot of coffee? The waitress departed again to get some more milk. In the meantime my wife said let's drink the half cup and leave, before we waste the whole day here. We got up to leave just as the waitress returned with a tiny container of milk that would have gone nowhere near filling part of a cup let alone two ( about the size you would expect for a single cup of tea). And bearing in mind that these so called lattes were £2.80 each we will not touch this place with a barge pole in future. There are other establishments near by which will be our port of call in future. Considering that if you go to Costa or Café Nero (price £2.25 per latte for a similar size drink) and should their first effort not be to your liking they will start totally afresh and make another latte to remedy any shortcomings. Not very good 'Euphorium'!!!!

I asked about their sandwiches and the female staff member pointed me in their general direction. I said but these rolls don't say what type of filling is in the roll. A nicer passing male staff member explained that the upper tray in the cabinet had the names of the rolls i.e. Cheese and ham. But the lower trays were just a storage area for the rolls. I therefore asked for a egg and tomatoe roll from the female staff member plus a slice of clafoutis. When I got back to work I found that the roll was some noxious white cheese and tomatoe roll, absolutely inedible without a strong gag reflex. Clearly either the staff member did it on purpose or having no descriptions on the rolls means you will be given some random roll which may or may not be what you asked for. £3 down the drain for this roll so it wasn't cheap. The only saving grace was the clafoutis.

I have been coming here occasionally for some years as it is just opposite the station and convenient. The staff are alwyas pleasant and the coffee and cakes are always high quality. The downside is that it is very expensive and most of the seating is not comfortable so you are not encouraged to sit for long plus there is only one toilet so always a queue.

Pastry looked fresh and tasted fantastic! Had an apple slice Danish and a cappuccino which were both great! Definitely recommended!

I've been here a few times for a coffee and snack en route to the royal free, each time my experience has been excellent. Today was worth writing a review for, one member of staff in particular (Dora) gave excellent customer service. I was in with my mum and Dora was just so friendly, very helpful with her advice of their gluten free cakes and generally happy. It makes such a difference when staff are genuinely nice to talk to and aren't moody!! We bought lattes to takeaway which were very nice (not too strong or bitter considering mine had 3 shots), a loaf of sourdough and a smoked salmon bagel which was delicious. Love the feel of the shop with the little things that make me feel like I am in Paris (cute water cooler) and the display of fresh bread as you walk in. Great!

This chain is oartly owned by Tescos, and is living proof of how you can brand your way past dreadful produce. My measure of a bakery is that of the village bakery where I grew up and then the boulangeries of Paris, where I recently lived. The new found interest in baking on TV is an irony, given that I now live in a town of 150,000 people without a single bakery.But in London it's difficult to move without bumping into a Gail or Paul or Euphorium.They do OK coffee and some interesting fillings, but the bread is just horrible. Baguettes should be steam baked, theirs is just wierd dry cardboard. Their pain de compagnie is also cardboard. In fact all their breads are a disaster. And poor old Tesco (did I just write that ?) are trying to roll out this dross in their stores. A short walk to M&S will get you phenomenally better bread.The croissants are passable, more cake than butter, and the sausage rolls and quiches are probably the highlights here.
