Great coffee and very delicious food, with very good customer service.

We tried Etto for the first time last week and we were impressed, so decided to head back there for breakfast this morning. Our 18 year old loved the fact he could have toastie and chips for breakfast 🤣 Apparently they were delicious, as were the sausage and egg brioche and toasted panettone. We finished with salted caramel cheesecake for a decadent Sunday morning dessert. Service was excellent too. All in all, a really great place to eat out.

Friendly, and they give a dog for cream, and he love it.

Popped in a quick coffee and also had some cakes. Good food and the drinks were fine. Airy and ease of access was good.

So after browsing the many shops I turned up at 16.10 to get a coffee and a bite to eat,I was informed the kitchen was closed at 16.00 but they would do the one last order. I ordered a latte and the buttermilk pancakes and I must say I was very impressed with the service, the flavour of the coffee and the pancakes. I will definitely be returning here .

Really disappointed with this place. The toastie had the cheapest, stale toast bread and absolutely no seasoning at all. The coffee was sour and the cake was hard - clearly from a few days ago as well. Won't be returning.

I went to Etto with my two year old grandaughter on Friday 25th October. I ordered the ultimate cheese toasty for my 2 yr old grandaughter. It was £8.40 for the toasty, I thought for that price it should be lovely. When it csme I couldn't believe it, it was two slices of cheap bread with a bit of cheese inside, accompanying it was some rather unappetising cooked frozen chips. I would have asked for my money back but my little grandaughter was hungry. She ate about half of the sandwich, didn't touch the chips. What a rip off !!

Chic place, delicious gelatto, and nice tea. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Two scoops of chamomile tea were enough for a snack, I highly recommend it.

Found a thick, black, short hair... in my cup of tea. I am really sickly when it comes to hair in food but never expected to find a hair in my tea cup, whilst drinking it. I did get a refund but as I was waiting I noticed noone had hair nets on and a girl was crrying tea cups from the kitchen pressed against her chest. No wonder hairs are getting into cups. Lovely place but management need to sort the health and safety out.

Popped in for two delicious Americanos while shopping around Dalton shopping centre. Enjoy the tuna melt with chips and my wife had a scone/tea cake. Very nice experience.

3.20pm on an afternoon, toasted tea cake not available as kitchen had closed. What skills are needed to toast a tea cake? Come on owners/managers, get a grip!

Slow service, 2 cakes were stale, hot chocolate didn't taste right and wasn't hot, latte was average, chips were soggy and toastie was gripping with grease. Well overpriced at 26 pounds. Bad experience won't be returning.

A fairly large cafe with lots of cakes and the like. Good coffee etc. You order at the counter and your order is brought to your table. Usually busy but that's a good sign and you usually can get a seat. The cafe is in an out of town shopping centre which is known locally as 'windy city' so take a coat!

Comfortable seating. Took an age to get served. Someone with poor English and very inexperienced taking the orders. Coffee was very nice. Did not have food

Good coffee and nice cake. We were served by a young man called Dan. He was very professional, polite and efficient.

Ordered plain hot chocolate and soup. Drink arrived with cream and marshmallow which I assumed I’ve paid extra for but can’t be bothered to ask. Was brought 2 bowls of fries after waiting 20 mins. Kindly advised staff it was soup. Soup arrived so hot had to wait for it to cook. Bit bland. Doesn’t seem the staff can cope when busy despite there being a lot of them.

First time in here, won't be going back, ordered a flat white and 2 hot chocolates, they were both Luke warm, when I told the man who had made them there was no apology, ridiculous prices aswell

Lovely cup of coffee and nice cakes. However when the waitress brought our coffee over, half of it was in my saucer. It happens but didnt offer to get me a clean saucer so every time I was drinking from my cup it was dripping.

Tea was tasteless and cold. Scones and cake were nice but overpriced. And setvjng staff should be taught to use deodorant. I know it's down to the individual bug it was very off putting.

Great little eatery, with lovely food, add in the new seating outside for the summer if the sun is out you could almost forget you are in the middle of a shopping complex.

Very slow service, food turned up wrong then had another long wait. Wasn't impressed with the food two meals ordered the same they turned up different.

If you're going to let dogs inside of the cafe at least clean up all of the fur! We were the first customers in the cafe this morning and this was the state of the floor under our table! A couple who came in while we were there also had a large dog which was putting it's face on the table and being fed food from the table. I sincerely hope they clean the tables more thoroughly than they clean the floor! This has really put me off eating here in the future. Also just read a review that said someone was asked to leave because his wheelchair was taking up too much room... But they'll happily let massive dogs take up room on the floor and people with hot drinks have to step over them. Makes sense.

Had a bit of a wait for food but my quiche was delicious. Kevins breakfast bun went down a treat too. Sorry no photos - mobile was in a huff. Next visit will get some. Not great access for wheelchairs although staff were friendly, and accommodating - good service.

what an amazing place. I came here with my wife and kid. The manager and staff are so kind, I felt a good atmosphere as soon as I walked in. Quality is excellent, very satisfied

Food beautifully served, fresh and good.

Love popping into Costa always a nice atmosphere and the staff are very helpful and make you feel comfortable , would be nice if we could of taken our little dog in we would have stayed longer.

This restaurant was nothing but a disappointment, the staff were very rude, food took over 30 mins to come meaning we actually had to cancel and refund our order as we had a very hungry toddler and had no longer the time or patience to wait. 2 other customers also had to cancel their orders because of terrible service and long wait times. I would definitely not recommend going here.

Such a lovely place for coffee and food. Shame it's not bigger as everytime I've gone there I literally have to people watch to see if they are about to leave and then jump on the table before anyone else grabs it. Which kind of ruins the experience but also shows how good the place is. Slightly over priced too also thr high chairs don't reach the high top tables so babies or toddlers using them can't properly sit at three table.

As a frequent visitor of the Dalton Park I've been to this place many times. The reason I've given 3 starts not for the Gelato counter as I always had a best and friendly service but the coffee counter on the other side which needs to improve on customer service. Last time they offered a takeaway coffee cup for a sitting in (i didnt request or server didnt acknowledged it). I believe that's because it was only few minutes left to close and they also ask us to leave on the closure. Which I belive that's not fall under best customer service.

It's OK but nothing flash. The decor is reasonable, but the prices are quite hefty for what you get.

The coffee is excellent, it's then let down by customer service and over priced food.

I visited today with my 1 yr old grandaughter. I purchased food. I then asked if I could purchase a slice of soya free bread for the baby as I forgot to bring my own. I was given a tiny slice of bread of which I was charged £1.90. I think this was daylight robbery. I am a regular visitor but this has put me off returning.

Oh dear, normally this place is really good and the food is lovely. Today I've just paid £7 for poached eggs on toast. Literally two eggs and one slice of bread, that had no butter on it? That's over charging. Yes I know I should have complained but to be honest, I didn't feel comfortable complaining. My son had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and smashed avocado, but that just had two small slices of avocado on it? I know places get busy, but that's the nature of the job.

I recently visited this cafe and was impressed by the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Service was prompt, we had coffees, chicken, bacon sandwich and scramble eggs on toast which they were great. Unfortunately we didn’t have room left for desserts but the cakes on display looked absolutely delicious. highly recommend very cozy ambiance. We will certainly be back!

Food was good but not enough tables. No tickets on cakes to say if they contained milk egg wheat. Etc.

As a wheelchair user just got asked to leave as I was taking up a space that could be used for a normal seat.not a lot of food available as on on the menu. The bill was just shy of £40 got money back when asked to leave. First time been thrown out because of wheelchair. Other customers were complaining when I was asked to go. Bad service it's a shame can't give 0 stars

Popped in for a coffee and cake which were delicious! Couldn't fault it! Wish I could say the same for the staff!!!! Waited at the front (with a big queue behind us) until they finished their conversation, then when they did eventually start serving, no greeting, no smile and just very miserable! Not friendly or welcoming at all! Shame because nice place with good food!

At first I thought it was an Esso but I was met with stern looks when I drove my car in and asked for 50ltrs of Petroleum spirit. Anyway, yeah it’s a coffee shop as far as I can see and it’s much like any other chain coffee shop located in a soulless centre of consumption. It’s sells cakes etc and other high sugar snacks for the weary consumers who find themselves prisoners in a never ending cycle of decline into oblivion.

Nice place, very busy and sometimes difficult to find a table. Loose teas a very good, and mint really smells of mint. European type of cakes, I wish, were of wider variety.

Staff Polite and Professional. Food is always good. Establishment is always clean and tidy. Staff are qiuck to remove used dishes, etc.

Was okay. Quiche, salad & fries. Reasonable price @ £9.20. Hot drinks pricey. Some staff seemed flustered, not confident. Told 20 minute wait on food but arrived quicker. Not blown away but would return.
