Very quick service, without unnecessary ado, food not great in terms of lubrication and quality, but quite good, large portions and it is not possible to order a small one, which is a minus for me. I rather recommend it if someone is hungry

Absolutely shocking service and customer service is dreadful order arrived missing items to be told they would resend with fresh chips as the ones received would be cold for them to turn up with 2 single chips in the box dreadful customer service when phoned back up supposedly too busy to do anything about it will never use again

I had ordered from you in the past and because I have called you last week to let you know you get my order wrong you cancel the order this time without telling me.You called me just when you saw my review on Google. Why you didn't call me when you cancel my order and I had to wait 1 hour to find out you cancel it?Also when I called you last week your employer was very rud. Really I don't understand who give you the permission to call me Sunday at 20 30 pm.Who give you the permission to use my phone nr?Did you ever heard of GDPR ? What?Do you want 5 stars for that?

Four small pieces of chicken and three spoons of rice this is what you get on medium chicken shish on takeaway, food was order 30min before they open so I guess that was from yesterday because was cold they not bother to warm up, small portion not fresh definitely not recommended...

Doners can be a hit and miss its about takeing and days with this place. Though food is generally nice. Staff are polite and not rude. Had an issue with my food they came delivered a fresh one. Always use this place as its the best in grays.

I went in today to order some food and I was met with hostility and rudeness! Awful customer service. The card machine wasn’t working and I did not have cash on me. The person who served me was so rude about it as if it was my fault. As far as I’m concerned the way you treat customers is just as important as the quality of food and the way I was treated today was very disrespectful. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I will not be going back.

Such a shame, get from this place all the time. However last order I got, they got it wrong, when phoning back a querying it they made me out to be a liar. Then reluctantly said they'll send the correct order out free of charge, then still got it wrong and the driver asked for money. I'm normally pretty laid back and will always give a place a second chance. However after that they've lost me. Also I'll be spreading the word.

Customer service is absolutely awful. They got my pizza order wrong and now are refusing to accept any mistake. I called the shop straight away and the line was busy several times. I then called as soon as they opened the next day. Who ever picked up the phone was extremely rude and said “too late” and hung up. I don’t understand ?!? Too late for what ? I even have doorbell recording of the delivery driver. He was sorting out the orders in the car for a good 5 minutes before delivering to us. Clearly he mixed the order up with someone else’s. Not acceptable.

Absolutely appalled by the delivery service of this restaurant. Ordered at 8pm, arrived at 10.05pm. Driver Shah made excuses that he had tried to deliver at 8.30pm but the road was closed. This we know is an utter lie. We called the restaurant at 9.20 and our order had been forgotten. So not only does it take over 2 hours for delivery but the drivers lie. Absolutely disgusting. Add to that the garlic bread and pizza is cold and there's mushrooms on a pizza that shouldn't have it when one of us has a mushroom intolerance and it's all round dreadful. Not to mention one of us has gone to bed without food because they are on early shift tomorrow. Do yourself a favour AVOID

What can i say to this place, been a customer for over 10 years its about right i give them a good feedback. The foods always piping hot very delicious food can't go wrong with there chick shsih and doner combination kebab, very friendly staff quality and clean service its a family run business. I mean they have a few branches so they must be doing somthing right!

The portion sizes are so tiny, they are charging more due to the cost of living, but serving LESS than before, I’m really really disappointed, if you don’t wanna still be hungry after you have eaten then don’t go with Essex grill 2!!!

I don’t like the D.I.Y kebab! Doner Meat put in a Chinese takeaway tub,pitta on top loose,sauce & salad separately! It’s obviously a way to charge extra but give smaller portions…by the time you get it home and prepare the kebab yourself it’s cold by the time you sit down to eat.. disappointing! I won’t be ordering again..

What can I say. Ordered some food (top quality buy the way) was told the normal 30 to 45 minutes. 11 minutes and the door bell was ringing. I was amazed. But they forgot the chips i called them up. And then less than 8 minutes my chips arrived. Great food great service and good portions. Well done especially to the lady who took the order.

I order from this place often as I like their mix grill platter, love their sauces and salad. The only thing I’d ask them to look into is to remove skin from their chicken donners, I am not sure if it’s a requirement but I hate the skin on my donner

Lovely food but getting order wrong is a problem

Charged me twice last week for the same order. Called and spoke to someone and was told I would get a refund but that never happened. Queried this with the same person and no response. Ended up paying for the same meal twice. Not going to waste my time chasing up £10.20 just won't order from here anymore. Just shows you how dishonest this place is.
