Not great. Food is overpriced for the quality. We ordered a ham and cheese toastie for £5.25 and came made with the heel of the bread. Cookie was hard and likely been there a while.

After a day in town shopping I needs somewhere to stop and chill out. Esquires Coffee is located in the Westgate Shopping Centre and is at the foot of the lifts so if you park in the shopping centre car park you will be able to find it. They sell a wide variety of coffees and other drinks including fizzy pop, milkshakes, tea (hot and cold). They also sell alot of cakes and pastries which go well with a drink ;) The staff were very friendly and polite and were attentive. There is alot of seating available to sit and chill out and there is free wifi in the shopping centre if you need to connect to the internet.

Great friendly service and still the best coffee in the town. Takeout only due to covid but it would still be 5 stars if the cheesecake was still available.

So prefer the old cafe because it felt like a cosy large living room with the sofas and service was great then, could watch people shopping and relax in a lovely atmosphere ,we used to look forward to visiting. Not any more, won’t be returning any time soon, Went to the new cafe today it was very uninviting, seating just basic, food took ages and was cold, staff rushed off their feet. Could tell by the amount of food left on the plates on the tables that it wasn’t very good 😌

So I left my dog outside, went in, ordered my coffee, and then asked for a Puppaccino. One of the staff asked where my dog was. When I told her he was outside, she mentioned I could bring him in, which was wonderful. He got a lot of fuss from the staff and other customers, so they completely made our morning.
