Espressamente Illy in City of London, Westminster

Los retrasos por niebla en los vuelos que despegaban significaron que las personas retrocedieron cuando las salidas de vuelos se estiraron y cancelaron. La ciudad de Londres no está construida para tales eventualidades y el lugar estaba bastante lleno de espacio. Afortunadamente (o no) vi a esta Illy a la izquierda de la sala de control de seguridad cuando la mayoría de las personas se dirigían a la derecha para llenar aún más la sala de embarque. Eso es lo positivo: había espacio para sentarse aquí. El café no era demasiado, no mejor que el que puedo hacer en casa, pero considerablemente más caro. Un croissant tibio, empapado de queso y jamón completó nuestra comida a un costo más alto. Una audiencia cautiva (literalmente en este caso) tiene poca o ninguna opción en esta situación y tiene que pagar precios exorbitantes por un sustento de baja calidad. No es una experiencia que me gustaría repetir, aunque fue agradable sentarse. . .

Es justo después de la seguridad a la izquierda (hay algo de ruido pero entra en la zona de asientos. La selección de sándwiches es buena. El lugar es más tranquilo y menos congestionado que el resto del aeropuerto. La única queja es que las tazas de té son Pesado e incómodo, pero deja pasar eso. ¡Pruébalo!

Por 2 libras esterlinas. 99 Tengo un solo espresso que tenía un sabor increíblemente amargo, no de la forma en que debería saberlo un espresso italiano. Illy: ¡actúen juntos!

Worst service ever. Rude staff, more concerned with thier conversations with each other than serving customers. Waited 25 minutes for a breakfast sandwich, asked about it twice was told very rudely I would just have to wait. Then waited 8 minutes to get my money returned by a manager who wouldn't even speak to me or look at me. Total of 33 minute wait for a breakfast sandwich while waiting for a flight? Very unsatisfied

Quick bite before flight. Grabbed Mac n Cheese which was warmed on site. Although it was in the fridge before it was warmed seemed to be previous lot frozen. Taste was below average.

Dadas las numerosas críticas negativas, que puede haber sido en un día de suerte.Sí, no es barato. Sin embargo, nos recibió una sonrisa, bien servido y irradiar a rápidamente. Good coffee but overpriced for very average snacks and sandwiches. Service okay and place was clean.

Nos son normalmente grandes fans de café illy. Nos presentamos y encontramos a nadie sirve. Esperamos y esperamos. The illy coffe is one og the best coffes. Snacks ok, Service ok. Good for a shortbreak at the airport.

Después de un vuelo retrasado a Illy animarme. . . Vi una pequeña tienda de café en el salón de salida, con un conjunto de cosas para comer y beber. . Dudoso. Le pedí al personal y Oana me trataron como a un jefe, estaba realmente sorprendido cómo Illy, trabajo duro y eficiencia conocimiento personal hizo que mi día. Trozo de pastel, un único decorado con café illy o pasión y a un precio muy asequible. Muchas gracias gente feliz, ustedes son impresionantes! ! ! ! !

For 1 tea, 1 latte & 1 plain croissant = £9.20....service without a smile, paper cups & unwiped table. After a great weekend in London this is a sad way to be fleeced as one leaves the UK. The coffee was Illy & good

Two Americano's which tasted dreadful, plus two croissants full of nothing but air = £11-80. Horrendous - avoid!

Coffee was bitter and acidic. Bresaola panini was dry and with hardly any bresaola. All for £9. Avoid.

This wasn't Illy coffee. It wasn't even coffee. Even after it was re made with a double shot it just tasted of nothing. Really disappointing.

We arrived in the airport after getting held up along the way from London City Centre. We were hungry but kept going in case we missed our flight. It turned out we need not have hurried as our flight was delayed incoming. But as we arrived hungry and our flight being delayed ( for an hour as it turned out ) we decided to have snacks here. And it was really poor and expensive. Examples? Ciabata at £6.00 or large americano for £3.50.Ensure You are not hungry or thirsty going through LCA.

Expect to miss your flight if you choose to have coffee here. I experienced the slowest service ever here this morning. The staff were indifferent to the long queue and I had to repeat my order as the staff couldn't be bothered to listen the first time. Go to Cafe Nero around the corner instead.

Non essendoci molta scelta per cenare a London City questa settimana ho provato Illy, caffetteria 100% italiana. Ho preso un panino al crudo con insalata e parmigiano. Non mi ha convinto.

Not sure if I got this place on a bad day, but the drinks in the chiller cabinet were warm and the food on display looked tired and like it had been there for a while. At £2.50 for a bottle of San Pellegrino (187ml) it was cheaper to go to WH Smith nearby

I would not make a trip to go to this place. The coffee is fine but not amazing. The service is equally sufficient. It's in the ground floor of the excellent Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel which means it has a lot of passing trade and is directly opposite Big Ben so it wins on location but not a lot else. Fine if you're nearby and want a copy without searching for something more exciting.

Ottima la location, discreto il servizio. Visto la alta qualità che sempre è impressa nei prodotti a marchio Illy, cominciando dal l'eccellente Caffè Espresso, mi aspettavo che in un posto Easy, in posizione così strategica, al piano terra dell'ottimo Par Plaza Westminster Hotel, anche i pochi piatti offerti, e cioè pochi diversi piatti di pasta, insalate varie e dolci per finire, fossero la scelta giusta per un posto Italiano di qualità. La brutta sorpresa è invece stata quella di trovare qualunque pasta offerta di bassissima qualità, tutta precotta e poi saltata di fronte a chi sceglie la salsa che preferisce, ma la pasta è scotta e le salse molto dozzinali, addirittura peggiori di quelle servite in qualunque posto di ristoro sulle Autostrade italiane! Insomma da evitare, anche se il prezzo che io ho pagato era davvero basso, solo 14,50 sterline per una pasta contorno insalata ed un dolce da scegliere tra quattro. Anche i dolci comunque molto modesti.Non mi aspettavo da Illy prezzi bassi e qualità scadente! Peccato

I visited Espressamente Illy for a light meal before my flight home.Frankly I wish I hadn’t bothered.I was the only customer and was forced to wait for the three young girls serving to finish gossiping amongst themselves before they even acknowledged my existence. I actually heard one of them swearing. When I was finally served it was cold to the point I felt unwelcome. As soon as I paid they started up their conversation again.My order consisted of a cold drink, a pot of pasta a sweet and espresso. I walked to the other end of the counter to find myself some plastic cutlery (no help or advise from the assistants now fully absorbed by their gossiping) where I saw an espresso cup.I asked if it was mine and was told “yes” so I bundled my purchase up in my arms and made two trips to my table as no tray was offered and I discovered the quality of food on offer was on a par with the service.The espresso was lukewarm and had no crema The cold pasta salad was inedible The Italian cake was Ok but not worth the asking price.My advice…avoid

This little cafe was where we grabbed breakfast sometimes before we set out for the day. It was in our hotel which made it convenient, but it was usually crowded and slow. Was often hard to get a table. Good coffee, however.

Very good and an excellent service. Espresso is fine and clenliness is to an optimum level. Staff is so kind and helpful.
