Very nice place to start the holiday

As a regular user…this lounge is always brilliant. Very friendly staff & food consistently of a high standard.

In my opinion this is the best VIP lounge of all regional airports. The choice is always extensive and good quality and the staff are friendly and helpful at all times

Colleagues made a real effort accommodating us. Quality of Food & service was great too.

Food variety is abit poor but food and drink is nice. Service is good always coming for your empty dishes and asking how the food is. Atmosphere is nice and calm better then a restaurant which is manic.

No bottles of water to take away

Friendly staff, good quality and quantity of food. Tables and space are a bit close but seats are comfortable. A little dated in places but overall a good place to spend your waiting time.

We had a lovely time in the lounge before our flight. A table was reserved for us in a really nice area and the food and drink was lovely. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.

This is our first time using the lounge and it has been a really relaxing experience. As an anxious flyer it really helps.

Food needs replenishing more often. Paid on the day as our flight was delayed and the hot food pots were empty for a long period of time.

Nice relaxing place and decent food

Gone downhill massively. Used to be a wide range of decent food. Curling sandwiches available and school style sloppy Mac cheese and mash.

I received such a warm welcome from Helen and Cassandra on the front desk! The hospitality from the staff was superb! As it is every time I visit the lounge. The breakfast was scrumptious! I’m already looking forward to my next visit to the lounge.

Unfortunately no eggs available otherwise would have been 5 stars. The atmosphere was ok and the temperature of the lounge was perfect. There was a 'karen' complaining sat behind us hence the 4 star score for atmosphere.

Regular user of EMA lounge to start any trip off in a nice relaxed way. The menu changes seasonally and is usually good and varied. staff are always on the lookout and refresh dishes regularly

Best airport lounge ever. Food Quality selection really good. Very pleasant check-in and service whilst in the lounge. Definitely will return and book with the future.

First time staying during dinner. Good selection, best choice we've had so far. Usually stay in the morning when you don't feel too hungry, but good choice at dinner. The hot mince pies due to it been December were a welcome bonus too.

Had an English breakfast today, I think they cooked it 2 days ago, it was dreadful and not cheap, complained and were not bothered. Don’t go there and waste your money

East Midlands airport had only three departures today, basically every place was closed. We decided to go into the escape lounge. We’ve been plenty of times before. Glad we decided to go in, it was very relaxed, with plenty of food and drink and we were very well looked after.

Really excellent experience today. Quieter likely due to being a Friday and less flights but nevertheless the food and service was still top drawer.

A nice quiet morning in the lounge today. Plenty of nice breakfast food. Hot buffet and pastries. Service at the bar is quick. The entire airport is quiet, but it is still a pleasant experience to while away the time before flying in the lounge. Currently, the only toilets are back down the departure hall. I've been informed they are getting a refurbishment the new year, so I expect the experience to be even better.
