Escape Lounge in North West Leicestershire

Don’t usually write reviews but I was unbelievably impressed with the service I had here today and the food was great. Lovely way to start my holiday. The girl working today called Aimee made us feel so welcome Thank you

Amazing lounge. Really quiet, food and variety is amazing and perfect to work from before the flight. Special mention to the staff, they couldn’t be more lovely!

Wi fi not good, cheap drinks, no air con and only 2 drinks per person even though I was with a party of 4. Do not recommend, will not be visiting again.

Second time in here in 2 weeks and was remembered by the lovely Alex, he is very pleasant and always smiling. All the staff are lovely that I have spoken with! The food was tasty and drinks selection is really good! Will always come back when I fly from East Midlands :)

We arrived early and the receptionists let us in 15 mins before our time slot. The service from the bar staff to the waiting staff all very polite and efficient. Michelle even managed to find some mayonnaise for my mum and brought to the table. The new interior is very calming, clean and bright. Throughly enjoyable start to our holiday.

Decent food selection, lots of drinks, staff all lovely and helpful. Only suggestion would be family and adults only areas.

I'm currently sitting in the Escape Lounge at East Midlands Air Port, and overall, it is a great experience, making my travel day significantly more comfortable. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient. Empty dishes have been cleared quickly. There is a nice selection of food and drinks. Hot dishes, snacks, and fresh salads.

Fabulous start to my latest adventures from east midlands airport.. surprisingly empty lounge ( given the Escape lounge website stated there was no availability all morning) . The Escape lounge hosts are super friendly ,the surroundings relaxing and food and beverages were tasty and refreshing.. I'd recommend on value for money alone Thanks guys for an awesome start to my holiday .

When we arrived some of the food seemed to of been out a while but was soon replenished. Nice chilled and clean atmosphere staff were lovely and welcoming and great with our 1 year old

Great Service & Relaxing Experience I accidentally booked the wrong time, but the lovely ladies at the Escape Lounge sorted it quickly with no fuss. It was busy, but one of them kindly offered me a quiet table. Great selection of fresh food and drinks – I enjoyed a pasta dish and pastries. Really impressed with the service and atmosphere!

Cathy, Michelle, Lisa and everyone are brilliant, very hospitable, friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere. Will recommend, and be back x thank you all xx

A small but relaxed lounge. Food limited but very good and fresh. Manageress Helen was very attentive and constantly making sure everything tidy and food available. A real relaxing way to start a holiday.

Always friendly and welcoming but disappointing that they didn’t have sausage rolls this time 😏. Really love the refurb, saw it last week and again this week. However, the addition of the very cheap looking screening in the middle of the lounge, wrapping around the planted areas is a major back step in the design. It really reduces the airy, open feeling of the lounge following the refurb. Last week it looked amazing, even with some small sections that needed final finishes. But these screens?? Definitely cheapened the look, especially as they don’t even fit properly. Staff are amazing, friendly, professional and welcoming.

Great start to our holiday! Food was fresh and drinks were quick and easy to order at the bar, staff were really polite and welcoming, Our flight times changed and they were very accommodating. Audrey was especially helpful :)

Very friendly staff, all food was hot. I was in between 4 and 5.30am and the breakfast was delicious. Comfortable seating area. Clean and tidy. Staff going around cleaning tables at all times. Best lounge I've been in so far. And by far the best breakfast. Absolutely VFM.

Great newly refurbished lounge with good breakfast selection and choice of drinks, including fizz and a good selection of beers. Debby was amazing behind the bar looking after us, giving a great start to our holiday. It’s was quiet due to the time of our flight so lots of choice of seating.

EMA lounge- Had a meat pie that tasted like prison food and a stale beer and the offerings are getting worse. Probably my worst experience yet in lounges around the world. At least it was reasonably clean.

My first afternoon visit to the newly refurbished Escape Lounge at EMA and I have to say that I’m very impressed. 5 in my group on this time. We had a lovely greeting at the desk by Gilly and Cathy and were shown to our table. The new menu is great and not what I expected. We all had something different but I chomped down the pie, mash and mushy peas. The onion gravy made the whole meal. My daughters especially liked the Mac and cheese. Swift service at the bar from Harrison and Alex. Thanks for the service with a smile. I love the lounge it makes a great start to the holiday. We’ll be back in July. Well done everyone on the revamp.

Staff are excellent but food offering was poor

For adults the food was lovely nice choose of hot and cold including veggie options! I do think there could be one or two more options for kids even if there were chips as not all kids like adults food! There is the cakes and fruit so no complaints about this! I like to relax and you can do this in the lounge

First time using . Everything was great . The only thing was that I had a bad ankle and was on a crutch and needed to put my leg up. I asked but there was nothing to use and not allowed to use the chairs, which I understand. Staff friendly and it wasn’t overly busy . I will defo book again , well worth the money .

Arrived at 4am showed to our table.Food really good quality cooked breakfast help yourself staff really friendly cleaned tables quickly and were always refilling everything up.Coffee machines and fresh orange juice.Good choice of bottled drinks behind the bar.Refurbushed to a good standard would definitely reccomend for the price

Absolutely lovely lounge. Staff are exceptional. lve listed atmosphere as a 1 * purely because the temperature of the room is unbelievably hot. Apparently it's going to change but I'm sweating buckets and not abroad yet 😅

Love this regional airport lounge at EMA. Every time I've been the staff have always been so friendly and helpful, this time was no exception. The lounge has had a beautiful refurbishment, the layout redesign is very well thought out. It is easy to find everything and aesthetically I loved all the wood and cream design. I observed during my stay in the lounge that the food was replenished frequently. Staff appeared to take pride in their job and went out of their way to speak with me and check I was OK. I travel a lot and the staff here make this lounge so special. Highly recommend.

The EMA Escape Lounge has been refurbished and extended. The seating area is clean, comfortable and spacious. The selection of food (breakfast) provides something for all, English cooked breakfast, continental, cereal, porridge, fruit, pastries... the choice goes on. With bottomless food and drink and ultimate comfort in this undiscovered gem, it is well worth the additional cost. Staff were attentive and customer service impeccable. The bar staff were so friendly despite the early hours (4am). It's important to give a shout out to Kelly on reception who was patient when checking us in and also the chef Jane who helpfully showed us around the amazing food selection. Great venue, great team, keep up the great work EMA, a well deserved 5 stars for every aspect of this experience! Cheers!!!

Absolute disgrace! 1st and last time we will use. On arrival we were told there was no hot food and a continental breakfast. If there was a 0 rating I'd use it. We've been offered a partial refund but no idea how much. Totally ruined the start of our holiday!
