First time we have Booked the lounge. This will not be the last. We were friendly welcomed at reception explained how it worked. The breakfast there was cereals, porridge, cold and hot fresh food you can go back as many times as you wish. The drinks there was a good selection alcohol or non alcohol, along with a coffee machine. There were no toilet in the lounge area which is a shame. Overall a good experience

We had the unfortunate, experience of going in here, on our way out on holiday. What was really bad that they turned a two serving military lads away, they had their I’d cards on them but they still wanted them to pay. We gave them our places as was t long to wait for a fight. If I could given this place a lower score I would.

Family holiday. It was a relief to come in here as the bar upstairs was overcrowded and rowdy. Bar staff were very pleasant, drinks choice was good and the food was nice. Would book again was worth the money.

This was a wonderful start to our holiday. We went in for breakfast the food was lovely and well stocked. It was clean. Plenty of places to sit comfy seats. Never had to wait to be served at the bar area. The staff were well presented and friendly even at 5am 😂 Only negative was it would be handy to have a toilet to use in the lounge rather than walking through the busy gates. We would 100% use again as jt took the stress out of a busy airport.

Poor...It reminded us of little more than a revamped modern staff canteen with buffet style offerings. Now of course if you are of the nature seeking an all you can drink bar...well some people there were making the most of that! Seating had some comfy North American style booths but mainly it was upholstered "works canteen" seating. Phone charging facilities are near non existent. Would we go again...no.

Lovely dog friendly pub with good food after a long walk in the Peak District. Lisa was a wonderful server! Very attentive.

We were a pet free traveling couple who were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and ensuite it was spotless given that they do allow pets to stay. Every request from parking early to gluten free breakfast (I’m coeliac) was accommodated faultless stay no negatives to report would stay again

It was a huge disappointment. I had planned a relaxing spa day with my husband, but this place was nothing like a real spa. There were only two small cabins with a sauna and jacuzzi, hidden away in a scruffy corner of the hotel. Lounge chairs were awkwardly placed in the hallway. The outdoor pool was freezing, and of course, we got the usual speech about it being a "health pool," but that was just an excuse—it was simply a regular pool exposed to the rain. The lockers in the changing room didn’t even have keys. The moment I saw it all, I felt like crying.

Great place to stay, would come here again. After seeing quite a few negative reviews, we were nervous about staying here, but we only have positive comments to make - lovely cosy little room, great shower, nice view over the village. Downstairs in the bar area looks really nice. We stayed on a Friday and it was lovely and quiet, no bands. I had no problem booking through wowcher (although I had to phone to sort it after having no reply via email). All staff friendly and accommodating. Had a lovely breakfast before we left and the owner was happy to let us leave the car for a few hours so that we could do a walk to Milldale (also asked if we needed directions).
