Enzo's Kitchen & Pizzeria in Bexley

We went to Enzo’s for my sisters birthday this evening and had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely incredible, the two Italian men made a fuss of my sister on her birthday and really made the evening special. Beautifully decorated restaurant and great music. Service moves at a really nice pace. Definitely worth a visit!

food a bit greasy, calamari chewy and greasy pizza greasy with an aftertaste of garlic oil but servce was good and a decent atmosphere makes this a decent place for a friday night merry gathering of work colleagues or clients

Went with Family to celebrate Grandson Harley’s 17th Birthday and honestly was a bit apprehensive after noting a few bad reviews but we were so pleased we went - absolutely fantastic evening - great atmosphere, great food and lovely Waiter who made our visit unique. Will definitely be returning .

This is a hidden gem in Sidcup, the food is outstanding and I love the Sicilian twist on the menu. When sitting outside you feel like you are in Sicily or on holiday. Will be returning way more often!

Very well made pizza. Reminiscent of Italian local authentic pizza, in fact. Service is very good as well although it can be sometimes over attentive and helicopter- ish. Overall very pleased. Have come here a couple of times and is a go to when in for dine in pizza

Came here on a recommendation, sadly 2 of the mains I wanted were not available so opted for the sea bass, arrived covered in a tomato sauce with anchovies and black olives which made the dish incredibly salty, bearly edible, the fish had some strange burnt potatoes under it, truly awful, my brother had a pizza, the base was not cooked was sloppy and wet, I can't understand the 5 star reviews, some people I guess are just happy to eat whatever is put in front of them, fair to say we won't be returning

Got a takeaway pizza from here a couple of months ago (YUM) and decided I wanted my birthday meal there. Went last night and was epic! Food was fab, service was great and the overall vibe was fantastic. Will be coming back!!!

Had a lovely family meal on Saturday. Food was very nice and great atmosphere however the toilets need a lot of attention absolutely disgusting so dirty . Family members did use toilets and were shocked to have to clean before use. Its such a shame as we have been to Enzos a few times but the toilets put me off. 🤢 pls do something about them !!

The pizza and salad were lovely. But everything is so expensive now. With drinks including, it was too much money. We were shocked with the bill. But it was a nice and friendly environment in Kent. I lived there for 25 years, and it was like home. Reminiscent time.

A hidden Gem in Bexley/Sidcup. Amazing atmosphere and authentic Italian food at very reasonable prices. A little skimpy on the coffee. Cappuccino was lovely albeit small!

Extremely nice atmosphere, with extremely nice staff and food. We tried the pepperoni pizza, and finished with an extremely nice ice cream. I was also genuinely impressed with how cheap everything was too! I highly recommend it for a great evening out!

Enzo's Kitchen and Pizzeria is a hidden gem! We felt like we were actually on holiday. The place is dog-friendly, which is a big plus for us. The pizza was fantastic, and the authentic Italian espresso was a perfect finish. One of the best calamari dishes we've had. We are definitely coming back!

Let's start with positives. First visit to Enzo's. Tuesday night and it was very busy. From what the owner said it was unexpected which could explain how the evening went. They were accommodating with our electric scooter and skateboard and the starters were delicious. However, they sat us at a table that wasn't set (we had a booking). It took 20 minutes for someone to come and get our order. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. They brought our starters which we couldn't eat as we didn't have cutlery. They brought cutlery. Then we ate our starters. An hour in, we had finished our starters and still no sign of our drinks. Asked the owner who basically took our drink order again. Another 30 minutes later and our mains arrived. But no cutlery.... We asked for the bill just as they brought the mains because at this point we genuinely just wanted to leave and that was another 20 minute wait. Didn't eat our mains. Partly because we were just genuinely annoyed and wanted to leave and partly because they were just not good. I'm including a picture of my veal. It was very unappealing and tasted like processed meat. Overall I'd say service 0/5. Nobody even apologised for any of the above. Food 3/5. Starters were really nice but the mains were not good at all. We both had a bite and left it. I'd be tempted to give them another go as it might just be one of those days when everything goes wrong but not sure if we dare...

Visited on a Thursday evening. It was quite busy, and probably needed another waitress. Food was good although mistakes were made, probably due to lack of staff.

Worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The pizza was a plate of slop on a base of dough! Staff communication is poor and then when we got up to leave was asked if we'd paid! Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. They cant be bothered to put the effort in and serve decent food, so don't waste your hard earned money there!

we went to Enzo's as we have eaten there before for partners birthday, the set menu was very over priced and the food was underwhelming, and the service was slow, we have enjoyed the normal menu and as said before very much enjoyed the food and pain just about £30 more with 2 cocktails for a birthday treat I was very embarrassed about the meal and atmosphere on leaving I told a female that this place had lost our custom due to the price and the service charge I would be most interesting to here from Enzo's has to say about this incident regards Steve Rogers

Great food, can't wait to return

Have had dinner here a few times and was very disappointed tonight. I understand that it is busy but we waited 1.5 hours for food as we only ordered mains. We waited 25 mins to even be asked what we would like to order .When the food came the burger bun was extremely burnt so wasn’t eaten and a pasta dish was wrong which could have resulted in ambulance being called as I explained I’m very allergic to prawns and they gave me a dish with prawns in. I only realised that it was the wrong dish as what I ordered was pasta in white sauce and the dish I was served was a red sauce. After explaining this the waiter told me that I definitely ordered what I was served but I definitely wouldn’t order a dish with prawns in as said I am allergic. Dish was still on the bill and no apology was given. After this experience I don’t think I’ll come again as the service is always slow but never been spoken to so rudely. Also an edit. They say online that they have a kids menu but when asking for one for my grandad (he doesnt eat much) we was told they dont have one.

Service was faultless, our waiter was lovely, extremely personable and attentive. Food was disappointing.The prawn starter tasted like it had been cooked in an old pan and the sauce was just burnt garlic and water with wayyy too much parsley and no seasoning. That’s was also £12 for 3 prawns which is hugely overpriced. The calamari was pretty salty and the tartare sauce was out of place in an Italian restaurant, for mains we had two pizzas and a pistachio pesto pasta. One pizza was fine and one was very undercooked with cubes of unmelted mozzarella and huge lumps of processed ham. The pasta was generally okay but had other pieces of pasta such as penne that should not have been in there, so obviously left behind from the previous order which isn’t the best practice. I’d go back for drinks and ice cream but probably not for food unfortunately which is a shame because it’s a lovely space.

Food was lovely...atmosphere was good...felt like you were on holiday with all the pretty interia..cocktails looked a good size and they even had the footy on..Will deffo go back

Ordered via deliveroo and whilst the pizza and garlic bread were enjoyable the prawns were horrible. £12.70 for 3 prawns, having a laugh, won’t be ordering again.

Fabulous food with an authentic Italian vibe. Really enjoyed our afternoon there today. The staff are welcoming and Guiseppe was particularly friendly. It was a pleasure to chat with Enzo again as we hadn’t visited his restaurant since last summer.

Had a lovely evening here for my Nan birthday tonight food is lovely and fresh. The pistachio icecream is 10/10. The desserts really are out of this world. The staff are soo friendly was great with children. Been a few times now has become my favourite Italian restaurant 🥰

Lovely restaurant - feels like you are on holiday! We'd only been in the summer and wasn't sure what it would be like in January however they have made some modifications so you are technically inside and it wasn't cold at all. The seafood pasta was amazing! Perfect for family lunch or date night

An unscheduled birthday lunch, a great meal, an altogether enjoyable time.

Food was excellent. Hospitality superb too. Only downside is the building itself given it doesn't look like a fine dining establishment, so isn't somewhere to take the wife on a date night, but is perfect to take the whole family at the weekend for a tasty lunch.

A wonderful discovery on a dark, cold winter's afternoon. Opened the door to find a lovely warm welcome. Only had a coffee and chocolate cake on this, my first visit, but everything was lovely and I hope to celebrate my birthday here with friends in May.

Ordered takeaway, 2 pizzas both under cooked. Ordered one with ham which they couldnt even be bothered to cut up just a big slab of it thrown on top straight out the packet, nothing like the one i saw in the photos and hardly a single bit of cheese on it, which hadn't even melted it was so under cooked. Never again.

I really enjoy coming here. My second time last night. Really gives holiday in Spain vibes. First time we visited was with friends and between us we have 5 children under 4. Usually I would have mild anxiety taking this many small children to a restaurant but the staff were so lovely and warm. They even let our toddlers have a look in the kitchen and say hello to the chef. A real family feel place. Food is nice too. Had the rib eye steak last night - was lovely!

Been there the last two Saturdays and food service and whole place is just what you need at the end of the working week. Cold cold beer and amazing food rounded of with warm friendly service ! 5 stars!!

A little piece of Italy in Sidcup. Had a wonderful night with the family. Good food and friendly efficient service. The Elvis tribute was great and the place had such a lovely atmosphere. Only downside was the limited set menu if you are a vegetarian and dont like tomatoes!! Also, the music was so loud we had to shout to speak to one another. That said, we really enjoyed our evening and we will definitely be back soon. We'll done the Enzo team

My first time here. We came on a busy Friday night and had to wait quite a while for our food but our waiter was lovely and very apologetic. The decor and atmosphere were great, it was like being on holiday, pretty impressive considering where we actually were! Pizza was delicious and everyone in our group loved their food. The Norma pizza and pasta went down really well, and my husband has been before and enjoyed the risotto. We didn't try desert as we were too full. Great job Enzo we'll be back!

Unfortunately mine was not a good experience We waited over an hour between starter and main I don t think £12 for 3 King prawns is value for money We were not the only people to be left waiting that evening. The couple next to us we also left a long time Both myself and my friend had upset stomach the next day Very disappointed

Before I start this review I'd like to point a couple of things out. Firstly Enzo's were kind enough to wipe out our entire bill, including our drinks, following our experience there. Secondly if you check my other reviews you'll see they are all positive. Until now. Arriving ten minutes early we stood in a queue for 15 minutes as numerous members of staff walked past and refused to catch our eyes, let alone welcome us to the place. Eventually we were shown to our table and we were joined by a waiter who asked whether we wanted drinks. We ordered two pints, a bottle of alcohol free beer and a bottle of wine. The alcohol free beer arrived within five minutes, along with the waiter to take our order. At this point one of our party pointed out to the waiter that she has a severe allergy to Rosemary and Thyme. Our waiter's response: "Well that choice might not have any in it, but I'm not sure? The problem is we could ask the kitchen but they don't tell us anything so we can't be sure?" The time is now 20:10, we have one beer between the four of us, our food ordered and we all have our fingers crossed that one of us won't end up projectile vomiting across the room and needing an ambulance. At this point the whole restaurant is filled with the sound of Stevie Wonder singing 'Happy Birthday' at a volume akin to an aircraft taking off. This was played from some sort of Spotify playlist and once it had finished we were treated to an advert informing us that there is a gel available that combats erectile disfunction. Fortunately none of us had ordered the Italian sausage. At 20:25 the rest of the drinks arrive and we expect the starters to follow shortly afterwards. We finish our drinks and it's now 20:50. Still no starters. Just after 21:00 the starters appear. The King Prawn dish consisted of three prawns and my Calamari tasted like something you'd buy in a bag from a budget supermarket and bung in the oven, nested on a bag of supermarket salad. Rubbish. At 21:45 one of the waiting staff approaches, wanting to know if we had enjoyed our main courses, a question we were unable to answer as we hadn't received them. At this point I decide to find the toilet, hoping that the change of scenery might help my rapidly worsening mood, but no such luck. There must be 100-150 covers in that sprawling outdoor area and they are served by two toilets, one for the men and one for the women. What I saw when opening the door to the loo was like a scene from a horror movie, the whole cubicle was full of fruit flies. Utterly vile. It's now 22:00 and I arrive back at my seat, swatting the fruit flies that had decided to hitch a ride into the restaurant on me. Still no main courses and we've had enough. We approach the fella who may or may not have been managing the staff - it was difficult to tell who was in charge or even if anyone was - and ask him for the bill. He asks us to wait and instead of giving us the bill runs over with two of the four main courses. One was mine and was for the lady with the allergy. Yep, you've guessed it, her main course was covered in Rosemary with a big sprig of it laid across the top, just to emphasise how careless they'd been. Their response? "There was a note on the starters to say no Rosemary or Thyme, but as it wasn't on the main courses so we thought it was alright?" Really? How could that possibly be 'alright'? All of the courses, starters and mains, were written on the same docket where the note for her allergies were made alongside her starter, do they seriously think that at some point during the starter and main course her allergy had magically vanished? By the look of it something that might once have been nice has been ruined by shoehorning as many people in as possible to maximise profit and, seemingly, nobody seems to be slightly bothered by the experience of the customers. The picture I have added is what you read coming into the place, it suggests an experience entirely different to the one you'll have.

First time here on a recommendation from a friend. The moment I walked in I felt at ease and comfortable. Lovely piano/jazzy music wafted out so no silence to deal with which is often the case on a Wednesday evening. The Garlic/cheesy bread starters was amazingly cheesy and garlicky 👌👌 I loved my penne bolognese 👌👍 but had to have a doggy bag as far too much. The Tirimusu dessert was to die for and served in a teacup covered in chocolate. We will be back !!

For me, it was a little disappointing and expensive and seemed rushed. Staff are not really in any form of uniform. We were seated at what I would class as the rear of the restaurant near to the kitchen, which was pleasant as you could see the food sort of being prepared. However, the table was on top of a music speaker, which was a little too loud for a conversation. It was someone's birthday, all well & good. Without notice, the volume was cranked up, and Stevie Wonders HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Great song, by the way) was cranked up. For my 1st visit I found the experience disappointing & expensive, I don't think it's for me. Food was avaerage for the price. You might want to stay away from the speaker if you want to have a chat & socialise. I'm sure if the speaker was moved, all would be fine Free parking & plenty of it, no issues with wheelchair access.

Loved it here! Tasty food and great atmosphere. Looking forward to going back on Thursday night for the music.

Randomly found this place sitting in traffic so I thought miles well take the family in there for food, they was friendly from the get go and I had 2 year old twins and they made a great effort to make time for them. First off the food was a different level to what I was expecting my twins loved it and they made us feel so welcome that it is now my family’s favourite place. I will definitely be coming back everything was perfect great job and thank you for making it special

No booking and was pleasantly welcomed, me my daughter and our dog. Friendly attentive in the beginning. But this went downhill, service was slow and had to chase for drinks, wasn’t offered sauces or black pepper, no one came back to do a check id all was ok, I ordered the spaghetti carbonara which was so so salty I couldn’t eat it. The restaurant was packed and I felt too shy to send it back as I have severe anxiety! My daughter had some pizza left but we didn’t get a chance to ask for a takeaway box as the plate was grabbed and other plates stuck on top! Typical English paid and left. Such a shame as the setting is perfect and you feel as though you are abroad. I saw others receiving, what I thought was a complimentary limoncello with the bill but we did not.

I genuinely haven't enjoyed a dining experience more in a long time! We turned up at 2pm on Saturday having not booked expecting we may be turned away. On the contrary- my husband, my 15 month old daughter and I were welcomed like family! The food was incredible- particularly delicious calzone, carbonara, lemon cheesecake and pistachio ice cream! We were served quickly and efficiently. The atmosphere was very relaxed (with Wimbledon on the TV for those interested, but not remotely loudly so you could hold conversations easily). Only warning I have is to check the weather before you go! There was a bit of a downpour during our lunch and some tables got a bit wet (you sit under large umbrellas). We will definitely be returning soon!

We had to wait for food for over 1 hour. During this time no one bothered to come to check on us. I'll never go and dine here again. Terrible experience overall. No thanks!

First time at this restaurant and despite the basics of the layout thought the menu looked tasty. However, service was slow but house wine was very good. Now for the downside. Pizza arrived and was already Luke warm with cold plates( so used to being told to be careful that the plates are hot in other restaurants). Did speak to owner about this who offered to re heat it, which was declined. Ended up leaving half stone cold. Never spoke to owner again. Had to keep asking for things like chilli oil, no fresh black pepper and finally the bill. No apology so just left. Will not be back. So disappointed with the attention or lack of.

Came here randomly bank holiday Monday afternoon and I’m so glad we did. It was like being on holiday. We had the most incredible food and wine. Came for dinner & drinks on a Friday night. Arrived and received a limited ‘party menu’ with 3 options per course. Ordered drinks which took 30 mins to arrive, & after noticing other tables with the full menu we asked for full menus and were refused. The staff told us they were only offering the ‘party menu’ and when we gestured to the full menus they were holding in their hands after handing them out to another table, they hid the menus behind their backs. Bizarre! So we asked for the bill and then suddenly we were told we COULD order from the full menu. But at that point we’d been there for an hour waiting to order the food we wanted so we left. They had a singer on & the volume was so loud we couldn’t hear each other anyway. We went to Pizza Express on Sidcup high street and had a much better time.

Always have a lovely time when we go and have food at Enzo's. One of our favourite local restaurants. Food is always piping hot and made fresh. Always love the atmosphere in there, we know we can take our children and all have a lovely time. Special mention for Nico who is a gem and always looks after us.

The atmosphere hits you as you walk in . The entertainment was first class. HARRY LOVE , was banging out the tunes . Absolutely spot on. Good authentic food , the wine list is perfect. Harry Love singing classic tunes. Just brilliant.

I took 5 friends for the first time on a night with entertainment (Julie Copeland was amazing). I understand it's a set menu but it wasn't busy and 3 of our starters arrived and were eaten (and water was collecting dishes) before the other 3 of us even got our starter and we still had to wait! We sat for about 20 mins without anyone taking an order from us!! The starter, main course and the dinner were worse than mediocre and the drink prices extortionate. I would never go again when.

Food was OK, lil expensive for what it was, staff added service charge and I said I wanted it taken off and add my own tip, heard them discuss this behind the bar and they laughed and mocked.. in honesty, I wouldn't go back.. which is a shame as it has massive potential

Party of 10 hen night. 30 09 2022 . Food inedible for the whole party ,didn’t even get dessert Paid £30 each for set menu Bar bill £250 9 people had approx 3 drinks each .Absolute rip off. Only good thing was the Lady singer Karen ,Would never go back.
