Great night out for a party of 14 people for a Thursday tea time. Food served nice and hot, drinks went down well, but I'm still griping about £21.95 for a bottle of wine, which is a touch too high

Absolutely fantastic. The food quality was just excellent, the service second to none and as it was a family birthday party, the atmosphere was brilliant.

We went early doors and it was quiet. The tiramisu was homemade and was lovely.

Lovely food, reasonably priced, great service. Thought it was a bit odd them having the radio on rather than some music suited to the restaurant..

Food was good here, service was good and overall nice. We was in early so atmosphere was a bit bleak but will return on a Saturday evening.

This was not the first time at Enzo's. This time, though, it did not seem quite as good. There was a mishap with a beer spillage but don't blame the waitress. It was pure accident.

Went to Enzo's last night and had the three course set menu, really enjoyed the meals which were cooked to perfection especially the Matriciana, lovely atmosphere and staff, will definitely be going back soon.

Great venue for friends. Really enjoyed the three course meal and choice. All friends enjoyed the meal and choices. Food was served hot and staff were polite.

Thursday Steak night 🥩 what an excellent meal the tomato garlic bread was excellent followed by a medium sirloin steak (cooked to perfection) and a great house red 🍷

Chips and onion rings were so greasy we couldn’t eat much of them. Lasagne was decent. It was a shame because we had high hopes as when my husband went to pick up the order, he said it’s lovely inside and we should dine in one evening. Sadly the food was disappointing.

Went out for tea . Lovely meal. Had the three course menu with the upgrade to chicken and salmon. Profiteroles and cheese cake. Will call again.

We either have takeaway or eat in here at least once a month, it is the only takeaway my wife enjoys, they offer nicely done traditional italian family dishes, they are super friendly and attentive but not intrusive when eating in. There are always nice specials on the board and on the very rare occasion we have had an issue, it has been sorted out efficiently and without quibble. Just an enjoyable place to eat, the 18" pizza is unbeatable for takeout, and I've never managed to try any dessert but the tiramisu, its perfection

Atmosphere was very off. Nobody checked on our food and it lacked flavour and was gloopy. Pizza arrived burnt too. First and last time going here.

Where do I start. I've been to Enzo's several times now, and the overall experience has ranged from very good to average. With my family coming up to Tyldesley for my birthday, we went to Enzos. I made a booking 2 weeks in advance for 4 people at 7pm. The problems started when we arrived and we were told the booking wasn't in the book and were made to feel like we were lying. Thankfully it was booked through Facebook, so we had proof. We were shown to a table after a few minutes and ordered drinks. A bottle of wine, and 1 cider. The wine came (plonked on the table as they walked off), but 50 minutes later after asking 3 times and my partner going to the bar, the cider came. A guy took our food order. I have no idea what he was playing at. He asked the same party member what they wanted for main 3 times. He then repeated mine back and got it completely wrong. 5 minutes later, a waitress comes over and said he wasn't trained to take orders(??), and when she read back what he had written down, he recorded only 1 of the 4 meals correctly. Thankfully, we were able to get this rectified before they were being prepared. Starters arrived. Decent on the whole, but garlic bread has never seen a garlic in its life. The initial waiter then turned up, and asked us if he should take the wine glasses away. There was still wine in 2 glasses and still wine in the bottle...?! For the mains, they still managed to bring out my order wrong. I wanted a chicken and parma ham pizza which I told the 'waiter' at least 3 times and the waitress once. When the waitress brought the pizza out and I said that wasn't what I ordered, she said "oh no it wasn't, was it" and walked away with it. 1 member of the party had the 'Mediterranea' pizza, which was tuna and prawns. There were 3 microscopic prawns by the burnt crust, and that was it. Another member ordered the 'Etna' pizza which was salami and chili. This is meant to be a spicy pizza as it says and off experience at Enzos previously. They brought out a pepperoni pizza, and that's what the waitress said it was. We said that was wrong, and they came back 1 minute later with the same pizza but with chili flakes on it. It was not spicy or how it should've been. It was my birthday meal, and I was waiting at least 15 minutes for a replacement. It was obvious that my meal wasn't being prioritised, as a pizza doesn't take that long in a pizza oven. The other members of the party were reluctant to start as they wanted to enjoy their meal with me. Their food was getting cold, so I just told them to enjoy the best they could. At this point, with so many issues, I told the waitress that I didn't want the pizza anymore, as I was past the point of being hungry (this is 9pm, 2 hours after arriving). She went to get the owner, I can only assume Enzo, "to see if the pizza can be removed from the bill". Well, what can I say. It's all fantastic when you don't have a complaint. However, when you do, it's like speaking to a brick wall. The owner is so arrogant and talks in a manner that the customer is to blame. He said I could have my pizza for free. I had already assumed that as I never actually had it put in front of me...! He said that people make mistakes "haven't you made mistakes before?". If this was the only issue, then fine, but when reeling off all of the issues encountered, he kept interrupting. He then said they were very busy. Granted, the restaurant was full, but the 2 before us in the queue when we walked in were walk-ins. If they cannot cope, they should have turned people away. This isn't an excuse for poor service. When the party member who received the 'tuna and prawn' pizza said about the minimal prawns, he said "that's what you ordered isn't it? Does it have prawns?" How damn rude. As it was like talking to a brick wall, we just left it. My birthday meal consisted of me having half a cheesy garlic bread. Not once in the time we were there was there an apology. Thanks Enzo.

Eaten here a lot, but this occasion was by far the worst. The food was at best average, two of the mains were just warm ( my pizza was warm not hot). The reason I belive some of them weren't hot was because the waitress mixed up our order with another table) She brought over dishes that weren't ours and took them too another table which meant we had to wait for ours.. The food and service are normally very good but this time was a disappointment.

Had family meals out a few times with Enzo. Always happy with the food and service. The fillet steak was gorgeous and cooked perfectly. Have also done the takeaway option which again is always lovely and hot. We will be returning again.

Walked in after 5 o'clock midweek, not many parking spaces nearby, but we managed to find one outside someone's house. Reasonably priced food but a bottle of wine was a touch expensive (£21.95?), beer nice. Garlic bread starter, olives, main meals cannelloni and lasagne were lovely. Service was good. We will definitely go back again

Very nice restaurant, very tasty food

Just ok. Pizza was good. Sirloin steak was too thin and cooked too long for medium rare, sauce saved it. The black pudding in my starter was clearly just supermarket level. Risotto was decent but far from the best locally. I've not been here for a few years but the experience was similar last time. I won't rush back but neither am I telling you not to give it a try, perhaps the pastas are better.

Not visited here for about a year and the whole experience was a let down. The waitress appeared not to understand anything we said, the food was just about mediocre . When booking I specifically asked if there was a Childrens menu and was told yes - but there wasn’t ! All that was on offer for children was half portions of pasta or pizza from the main menu. The tiramisu barely passed for cake with cream !! The service was terrible and, considering the restaurant wasn’t too busy , just wasn’t acceptable. We have visited here before and during the pandemic and the experience was always wonderful, unfortunately we won’t be returning here again.

I liked my food, my wife wasn't impressed. I had cannelloni, she had penne arrabiata, but it was just like spicy chopped tomatoes. Quite a long wait between courses even though it wasn't busy.

Some of the orders were wrong, my pasta was one of the last ones to come out and was cold and the staff could see I was dealing with my little boy and told me to do my parmesan cheese myself. It was more like a plate of slop than Italian food, staff weren't at all helpful, I left most of my food, in fact the food was that bad me and another family member ate the scraps of my sons Magherita pizza as it was the only edible food in sight. First time eating at enzos and will certainly be my last was impressed at all

Lovely atmosphere and the staff are really helpful, polite and friendly. Unfortunately we found the food a little disappointing. Some dishes were bland and others were dry and didn't seem freshly cooked.

Myself and the wife paid our first ever visit to Enzo’s on Monday and what a very pleasant surprise we had. Service was excellent and very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything on the menu was very reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be returning and highly recommended if you want a good Italian meal.

Just returned from a visit to Enzo's. We took our 3 grandchildren aged 12, 9 & 7. What a lovely experience. All the staff were so attentive & couldn't've done more making a fuss of the two little girls especially. The food we ordered was delicious as always & the desserts were particularly enjoyed. As I said all the staff were lovely but one in particular stood out. Myself & my granddaughters admired Helena's hairstyle & she came over before we left & did the same style for the girls. It took her about 5mins in all but they were so thrilled. It meant a great deal. Thanks so much to all the staff. We'll definitely be back 😁

Shocking customer service when it came to payment

Good food and friendly atmosphere, but set menu not on for Mother’s Day and not outlined by staff when ordering food also no mention of kids menu at all, disappointing customer service when querying bill no manager present so deal with. I’m afraid we won’t be back, which is a shame but would rather go to Don Alberto’s for the price of full menu where I know customer service is second to none

Hi I had a meal at there to nite it was nice but I paid £19 for Beef Stroganoff and the portion was really really poor for what I paid needs looking at.

Delicious pollo al pepe and plenty of other tempting options on the menu. Good, speedy service and a fair price. My little-one was also left happy after finding that Enzos has a kids menu which offers no nonsense margaritas and ice-cream. Definitely a recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous food, cannot believe I've not been here before despite it being down the road. Staff were super friendly. I don't think they have a kids menu but my toddlercate before we got there so it isn't something we enquired about. Would definitely be going back!

This was our first time in Enzo's in about 5 years. Back then we weren't that impressed but our visit this time was excellent. The food was great and the waitresses couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be going back!

Booking: the lady who picked up the phone didn't seem to want/know how to take a booking, thought she was either too busy to deal with the call or wasn't interested. Genuinely wondered if she was a customer who had picked the phone up for a laugh. Was like pulling teeth. Not sure if you're meant to book online rather than by phone? Would definitely try that instead. Arrival: we had to catch staff attention to get seated as several staff walked past us. Not very welcoming. There were very few customers in so we didn't understand that wait. It's fine to wait to be seated but acknowledging customers as soon as they're seen would feel more welcoming. Seating: restaurant mostly empty so would have liked a table with more room rather than actual small table for two. Probably would have ordered more sides if we had the space. Quite chilly in the restaurant seating area as well. Ordering: we ordered pinot grigio blush, to which the waitress complained "I hate it when people order things off the menu I can't spell". I'll just leave that one there. Oh, and then white pinot arrived but we decided it was probably too complicated to correct it. I ordered tagliatelle and meatballs, decided against ordering it in Italian as printed on the menu as did not want the waitress to "hate it" a second time. And my Italian pronunciation is rubbish. Food: the bruschetta starter was very nice, a simple starter done well. Tasty, just what I wanted, reasonably priced, nice portion size. The tagliatelle and meatballs was tasty enough. I was asked if I wanted cheese which I think was parmesan, and when I said yes the waiter stayed stood sort of behind me and threw the cheese onto my plate from there. Very bizarre. I think that must have been because we were sat in a small corner table? Garlic bread w cheese side was okay but not amazing, probably same quality as local takeaway. I don't know why but my nose completely blocked when we were there (and cleared when we moved on to the next place). Possibly cold/dust? It did affect my experience and taste so it's fair to be mentioning it. This place came recommended by a few people from a few years ago but it seems it may have changed hands. The reviews recently have had some hilariously passive aggressive responses which put me off writing this review (see where staff have told someone to get their eyes tested because they couldn't see the non existent carpark) but I really wouldn't go here again unless the staff had some more training.

Me and the wife went last night.The Italian people are so smart and charming.The restaurant is spotless and the food is 5 star you must try it.

First time we have been, the service was good with plenty of staff, our waitress was called Caitlan who was polite and helpful with the menu would definitely go back with friends next time.

The parking is a bit hit and miss only for about 4 cars maximum. The set menu is good value ordered the minestrone soup no pasta or Parmesan cheese. The service is not up to much prefer Italian waiters far more attentive. Ok but just...

Love this place the mid week menu is great the black pudding stack is unreal, never had a bad meal here. The waitress is is fabulous, she is funny and basically brilliant xxx

Fantastic food, ample portions. The menu is really extensive and we didn't wait long at all for our meal. The decor inside is lovely to. Staff were really friendly and it was nice to chat with the Italian owner. Priced really good to. 👍 Will definitely return.

Recently been to this restaurant for the set menu £14.99, Couldnt believe the choice of the menu for the price, was absolutely delicous, went again the week after with the family couldnt resist, all agreed that we couldnt fault it, well done Enzo's!

We eat here regularly and can never fault the standard of food or service. We took my parents on this occasion for their first visit and they loved it and will be going again soon. Great food, lots to choose from and a very cosy...

Hate posting bad reviews, I went 2 years ago and the food was really good. Had takeaway last week and was beyond dissapointed, friends with went with 2 years ago told us it had gone down hill but we thought we'd give it another go. Wife's meatballs tasted off and there was next to no sauce. Mine was a bit better but it was under seasoned and a bit bland. The garlic bread was ok but still had a slight doughiness. The inside needs a facelift and I hope it turns things around because I want to see local businesses do well.

Great food and a nice atmosphere. It wasn't too busy around 7 tables in when we arrived. Staff were friendly. We went for the mid-week deal. Essentially 4 courses for around £15. All the food was very hot and was quick to come out. No complaints at all, very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Had a takeaway last night. Fabulous food, fast delivery, fantastic service. Had pearls as starter and Lasagna as main and my wife had garlic mush and pizza tomato, cheese and mush ( she really like mushrooms). Highly recommended

Food was nice you don't get a lot for your money. 1 member of staff was very rude. Its was as if he could not be bothered. We asked for pepper he huffed grabbed it off a table n just slammed it down on table. Would I recomend hell no..but only because of that 1 member of staff.

Every time we go it is always great food, great service and if you go through the week, an absolutely amazing price. This place does not get enough recognition. Definitely the best Italian in the area 👌
