I popped in for a quick lunch and found it so-so. Had a beef burger which at £19 did not come with chips which had to be ordered separately at £5. Perhaps this area commands higher rents and this is what it costs, however the burger (meat) was tough and very dense, not at all juicy. Service is ok, the servers are pleasant, but not terribly attentive. Would I go again? Probably not. I don't mind the prices as I mentioned, this is what it costs to operate in this area, but the food isn't that good. On a high street with so many other choices (Soutine, Cinder, The Ivy, Johnny Green) they would do well to improve on the quality of the food if they want to continue long term.

Slow service to give you a menu. Sour dough toast completely burnt around the edges Very little topping on one piece. Friends pasta came 15 mins after I had finished and it was cold and tasteless. Took ages to get the bill.

Living in SJW for 9 months only just discovered this lovely cafe! Wonderful location & tasty food! Forget the ‘chain’ cafes, go here! You won’t be disappointed

After a great stroll through St. John’s Wood Church Garden, we stumbled upon this gem of a brunch spot. Excellent location, with its proximity to the park, it’s the ideal spot for a post-brunch play session. And to top it off, the children absolutely adored their meals , which is always a win for our family outing!! Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend for families looking to enjoy a healthy delicious meal in a charming setting.

I had dinner in this restaurant. The service was top-notch. The waiter was attentive and friendly and made the evening. Ordered the breaded parmesan chicken and new potatoes. It was fresh and every element was well cooked.

" England’s Grace Restaurant offers exceptional cuisine, diverse coffee selections, and delightful cakes.” Their top-notch service, led by remarkable staff like Rebecca, Grace, and Zack, made our 2 visits in a span of just one week, truly memorable. Recommending this place on St. John’s Wood's main street for its outstanding transformation from its predecessor, Fego, which we had also frequented uncountable times in the past. Kudos to England’s Grace's management and staff!" Ashandkaren

This is a newcomer to St John's Wood and has introduced a different level of gastronomy to the average competition in the High Street. A well balanced menu offering almost michelin star cooking. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went to England's Grace for dinner shortly after it opened. They explained that they are still running the place in and there will be a few changes in the next few weeks, but we felt that it has emerged from the planning fairly well-formed. The site is the former La Casalinga, which then became Fego; it has been beautifully fitted out and looks like being a very pleasant spot at any time of day. There are three separate menus, brunch, lunch and dinner, of which dinner is the most expensive. We had a bottle of wine from the upper end of the list, Jim Barry Clare Valley Assyrtiko 2021 at £59, and with this our bill for two courses each and a shared pudding was £172.15 including service; hardly everyday prices, but the place would be worth it for a special occasion. My very decent ceviche of sea bream (£13) came with a decent sprinkling of caviar and a scattering of chopped tomato with shallot; the onion was a little insistent and would have been better marinated in citrus before being added to the tomato. It could have done with a little more pepper or a touch of chilli. My wife's dressed crab with avocado mousse and pickled apple (£14) was a lovely dish and the portion was generous. She also loved her 'chicken parm' with rocket and tomato (£21), while I took the waitress' strong recommendation and had lemon sole with oyster, smoked leeks (I couldn't taste any smoke) and tarragon emulsion (£30); the sole was perfectly cooked and again the serving was generous; I really liked the pair of deep-fried oysters on top. We shared the excellent truffled chips (£7) and an acceptable pavlova (£9). The approach is generous - both water and very good homemade bread with whipped butter are included in the prices - and the service is marvellous - friendly, engaged and professional. It will be very good to see how the place develops.

We sat in the garden area, which was beautiful. The staff were mediocre, but that may have been due to the number of tables they were responsible for serving. The food was HORRIBLE!!!! This is definitely NOT traditional Polish food. We are from Poland and so we know. Even if we were not expecting traditional food, it was just terrible food in general and far from upscale. £165 for 3 people and we feel very ripped off and disappointed. I do not mind paying that amount if we enjoy our meals, but everything was sub-par. All dishes ordered were way too salty and strange combinations that no Polish person would use. French fries with steak tartare!!??! Steak tartare that arrives pre-mixed!!?!? Do not waste your money!!! This restaurant should be ashamed of the food they are serving and the way they are falsely marketing their establishment. Now we understand why there were no other Polish people dining there - they know it is not real Polish food and are avoiding this restaurant. Lesson learned. YUCK!!!!!! ***UPDATE*** sick all night after dining in this restaurant***

Dopo parecchi anni sono tornato alle. Origini il. Primo locale in cui ho lavorato nel. 2012 appena arrivato a Londra. Locale sempre carino su due piani il. Secondo piano usato per feste e il. Primo come bar e ristorante. Se non sbaglio è anche cambiata la proprietà non ho visto la manager che c'era prima e Devo dire che meglio così. Cibo non male servizio cordiale. Prezzi un po' alti ma a Londra di non caro non esiste niente.

My first time tasting this cuisine outside of my visit to Xi’an and I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors definitely suit my palate more as a non-local visitor. The Steamed Wheat Noodles with Seasonal Veggies & Wheat Gluten may look red and oily, but don’t be fooled! It’s not spicy at all. It pairs perfectly with the cold veggie appetizer! There was one male staff member who was genuinely professional—polite, attentive, and carried himself with such great etiquette. I’d honestly come back just for the service. Truly exemplary.
