I’ve been coming here for a few years now and still can’t get enough of the food.The owner is very friendly and always makes you feel welcome.the food is amazing here!!

Tasty food and lovely service by the couple running the restaurant. It was our dad's birthday and they made it even more special with some Turkish sweets and lighted birthday candle at the end. We have two toddlers and they loved hummus, bread, chicken, rice and chips from what we ordered as adults.

This is the goto place for us for lunch or dinner. Food is amazing. Fresh ingredients, cooked well and no complaints from any of us. We had a mixed grille and chicket kebabs and loved it. Food is fairly priced and the service is perfect.

Food is delicious. I had the lamb shish. Meat was so tender. Baklava to finish, just delicious 😋 Service is excellent.

A cosy restaurant with oriental decorations transports you to a different place. The food was great. We tried Shezade kebabi for the first time and it was excellent with the rice. I ordered Turkish coffee which was served in a traditional cup and was a lovely finish to a great dinner. Not too crowded and good street parking spots available.

Absolute gem of a restaurant! In a road saturated with over priced and over rated choices if you want authentic fresh and tasty food, with caring and attentive service 100% recommend.

Everything was delicious. Starters, kebabs, and salads were all very tasty. The atmosphere was very authentic, a true Anatolian style. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were especially kind towards children.

Enfes is amazing!! Best authentic Turkish food I’ve had in Essex. Amazing flavours, everything fresh. Staff are amazing and really lovely. Great service whenever we dine in and amazing quality when we order for pick up!

Worst restaurant ever! Not worth it. Food tasted very odd, salad was barely there.. plain rice for a whole platter. Turkish tea was very bitter. Do not recommend!

A brilliant little family run Turkish restaurant. It is admittedly quite cosy inside with a handful of tables, so booking ahead is highly recommended. The quality of the food we had was exceptional, and we were brought out some lovely Baklava after we finished what we ordered.

What a wonderful little restaurant! The service and staff are so friendly and attentive and the food was superb! Can't believe I've never been before? Will definitely be going back again! The red pepper dip from the mixed cold starters was incredible!

Been waiting to go here for a long time! We got there a litte late but they had a seat out back for us, took our drinks order then food, we got the chef’s special 3 with added chips and halloumi Safe to say a lot of food and tasted amazing! Definitely worth a visit!

We eat a lot of Turkish food and this place is great. High quality and good value. The couple that run it are lovely too. They make absolutely everything from scratch on site and it shows, in a good way.

Very lovely staff! It was my first time having Turkish food, I had a lovely cup of Turkish tea and a Vegetarian Iskender and it very filling. Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of the staff but I presume the owner was very lovely and patient with me. She even gave me a little starter to try some other foods for free, it was very kind of her to do and I'll definitely come back again! Thank you for the lovely Turkish Delight (Lokum) it was very sweet and gooey! Another worker who was a man, again didn't get their name, was very friendly and always had a smile. Thank you so much for letting me take the rest of my meal home, I had filled myself up with the starter without realising the main was yet to come. Absolutely amazing scenery too and very clean! I will definitely recommend this to others!

Awesome food, really friendly staff and quick service. Had the mix kebab and 1 hot and 1 cold mixed starter. All of it was amazing. The doner meat was especially good.

Went there for lunch after the beach with a crazy family of 17 people. They accommodated us well with great service. Staff were very patient with the children. The meat was cooked fresh and not salty like other turkish places. Highly recommended 😊

Went for lunch yesterday with a friend. Brilliant attentive service from Khalil and his wife. Wonderful decor, very clean. Had the mixed starter meze platter, Isksnder kebab and vegetarian Iskander. Amazing food. Khalil makes the lamb doner himself. Very high quality meat and preparation. Soft drinks, Turkish tea and complimentary Baklava a very reasonable £43 for 2 people.

OMG some of the best food I've ever eaten, and best doner kebab meat I have ever eaten all made from scratch in house. Really well priced and the staff are lovely this is a little family run business and we received better service here than we have in restaurants that have cost us 3 to 4 times the price, they were so polite and attentive and didn't even question pandering to our very fussy 5 year old. Will 100% be eating hear a lot more often just so so happy with everything here from start to finish. They also have a really lovely privet room at the back which we'll be using next time we come as we'll be bringing the extended family when they all come to visit. Really can't recommend highly enough Turkish food from a Turkish family who really take pride in what they serve

Went on a Saturday night and waited for two and a half hours to eventually receive our meals two of which were incorrect. Rubbish service.

First takeaway tonight and it was fab. Good portions, nice and hot, plenty of breads and sides. Good service and very friendly staff. I will be returning 😊

Visited this restaurant on Saturday after an exhausting shopping from IKEA. We've been tired and should return to Cambridge. But this restaurant trigged us!!! What a lovely meal!!!! It made our afternoon!!! We just wiped out our plates immediately. Believe me, even I was not able to finish my main, then asked their lovely staff to pack it. Thanks Anna, you ROCK :) At the end, I have to say we love this restaurant and definitely will back there even from Cambridge.

Great to see Enfes Mangal has reopened albeit for takeaway only. We ordered food last night and had a feast! Really tasty and fresh we enjoyed everything. Still our favourite Turkish restaurant in the area.

I have visited here several times and always had a good quality meal.Staff are friendly, a bottle of house red is under £14 and the food is excellent, I did think of giving them 5 stars but stuck at 4.I seriously recommend this place, they do kebabs , lamb chops , all in all a good selection of starters and main courses and desserts.They do a lovely Irish coffee as well.I moved from leigh to canvey last year but still come back here when I can.It's pretty good value for money as well.

Best turkish food in and around the southend area. It definitely has a more homely personal feel. Mixed grill was amazing, portions more than enough and a lot let over for a doggy bag. I will definitely be going back.

Some customer service training needed here. Walked in, cook just stared at us looking surprised. Owner just smiled and didnt seem to know how to show us to a table. He seemed disappointed when we ordered coffees for starters. No bread and dips were offered or given. I had to prompt 3 times before our order was taken, giving the impression we wete an inconvenience. Portions wete stigy I thought for the price, my partner only had 1 skewer of kofye, which was the price of a full portion. I ordered the turkish stew which was pretty ordinary considering. No attention to customer service or interaction seemed a bit strange. At just over £33 for lunch, it was disappointing overall, oh and no atmosphere. We wont be back.

Love this place. We use it a lot for takeaway but I'm always tempted to eat in when I collect as it smells amazing in there. Stone cooked food. Clean and tasty. For trying to find a healthy take away option there isn't much better. Can't fault them in anyway. Hugely recommend anyone to try them out. Thanks for another amazing meal.

I come here once in a while when I have a day off and the food is really tasty and well prepared. The staff really friendly and always treat us the best. Really good service and food highly recommend.

My sister and i visited for lunch, we had cheesey garlic bread and calamari for starters, the garlic bread was delicious, thin, crispy, very garlicky and smothered in cheese, the best garlic bread i have ever tasted. the calamari starter had a beautifully light and crispy batter. Our main course choice was the mixed grill, oh heavens, what a platefull, the meat was so tasty, and i have never had lamb chops that tasted so good. lots of fresh salad and bulgar wheat, with chicken shish, dona kebab meat, meatballs and much more. We couldn't eart another mouthful. we were also given balava with cream as a complimentary dessert, which i cant eat as i have a nut allergy, so i was given real turkish delight, the entire meal was heaven on a plate. i would highly recommend. The owner is friendly and helpful, the food is always cooked to order and fresh. You wont get a better turkish meal anywhere. They also have a 5 hygiene rating, which is something to be proud of

Visited this restaurant for the first time. The restaurant maybe small, but the quality of food was excellent. The staff are very friendly and informative. We had a sharing platter (see picture) it was delicious and the best I’ve had! A little gem in Leigh on sea, we will be back!

Looking for some where to eat in Leigh on sea along the main road in the middle of the afternoon and Enfes Mangal hit spot! The food was fantastic. We all tried different food and the tastes and colours were amazing. A great place with some fantastic food. The mezes were lovely.

So have resisted writing reviews based on one visit, have now been here in excess of 5 time also been as a couple, with friends and with family (very hungry men x3!). Every time the food has been amazing have had chicken, lamb, steak, chef specials, mixed grills, shish, doner etc etc. It’s a must visit the bread & dips, baclava.... even down to the side salad are also super super special.Just go! You won’t be disappointed!Thanks

We went there for lunch in early August. The food was delicious and the service by Halil was very friendly. When next in the area we will definitely go back.

I was absolutely appalled by the service the cleanliness the food and most of all the chef not even understanding what was asked we had Dorma which was vegetarian and rock-hard not edible at all then raw chicken wings with blood coming from them then ordered more chicken which was raw the lamb shish was Pink inside no taste at all, the salad was chopped finally but could only taste parsley the bread was far too much and didn't taste fresh and last but not least we didn't enjoy the floor being swept whilst the food was on the table I paid £50 for food that wasn't eaten. I definitely will not be going back to this establishment again I was very embarrassed to have taken a London food restaurant owner to this establishment. AVOID

A hidden gem of turkish food in Leigh on Sea. Great atmosphere , friendly staff and most important food with great taste and oriental flavours. Highly recommand paying a visit if you want to have a propper meal in a relaxing atmosphere

My favourite local Turkish, the staff are always friendly! It’s never stupidly busy and very fairly priced. The food is beautiful! It’s a small seated restaurant so If you are a big group I would advise to ring and book ahead. Can’t fault it.

I ate here with friends last night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared a platter of various grilled meats and kebabs which was just delicious, all the meat was juicy and tender as well as tasty. It's worth noting that even the doner meat is so good, not running with grease as is often the case in most places. The platter came with rice, bulgur, salads, pitta, Houmous and Tzatziki. So much food and so reasonably priced. Halil and his staff are so friendly and attentive, it's easily the best Turkish restaurant in the area.

Perfectly cooked food & large portions.. I had the salmon & it was cooked to perfection & my partner had the mixed grill I don't know how it got through it all! The staff are really friendly, lovely people too. Definitely recommend.

I have been here many times for Turkish and Middle Eastern style food. The food is very good and is family run. Service has always been good and very friendly. I have had a few take aways which are very good. Good selection of wines and turkish beer

Visited Sunday evening after walking past, the four of us sat down and was welcomed by the smell of meat sizzling on the grill. We didn’t drink so had some fizzy drinks and Turkish tea which was very good and my sister said it reminded her of her travels. We had the cold meze to start and we weren't starving so ordered it for 2 people, the portion was huge and came with bread, hummus, cous cous, aubergine and vine leaves with filling. It was so tasty.

Excellent food, ambiance and service

The food is fantastic and the service matches the standard of the food. Real novelty seating with benches covered with carpet material and everything appears to be done freshly behind the counter.

Being an East End girl (and a huge foodie), I have an appreciation for authentic Turkish food and this is as good as one can hope for! All the staff are so friendly and polite, the food is freshly prepared and promptly served and the portions are generous. Would highly recommend this place if you have a craving for Turkish cuisine. My boyfriend and I have been here twice in 1 week and booked a table for 10 people so we can share this little gem of a place!

The food here is always great. I would recommend a set 1 which contains hummus and breads for the starter and a great selection of meats for the main. This can feed 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are! Service is always great and staff are polite.

This is a wonderful, well priced, restaurant in Leigh on Sea. I love Turkish cuisine and the food here certainly didn’t disappoint. Lovely kebabs, fresh salads and the tastiest bread imaginable. After the main course we were served a complementary plate of exquisite Baklava, my absolute favourite pudding. An unexpected authentic pleasure for my colleagues and I. Will definitely return soon.

Middle Eastern style food, intriguing vegetable dishes, aubergine, humus, flame grilled lamb, flat bread, cool yoghurt, fiery chilli and ice cold 'Efes' beer. This restaurant serves the most delicious food, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Criticisms? Well the service is a little slow (mainly because they are so busy) and the portions are rather huge, love it...

Have visited this little gem twice now and loved it both times. Not pretentious like a lot of places in Leigh, just good food and good service. Sometimes the simple things are Best and this little place is an example of that! Keep it up guys x

Amazing little Authentic restaurant serving traditional Turkish food. Went in on Sunday, early evening and what a lovely surprise to see the decor was as you’d see in Turkey & traditional Turkish music too. Hot & Cold Meze’s were delicious & plentiful and the price reasonable. Good luck to you all and I will be back
